Pausa Pranzo Corso Novara Reviews
A must-try spot for gluten-free sushi and other Asian dishes. The food is delicious, the à la carte menu is extensive, there's a separate gluten-free menu, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options (even for those who don't eat gluten). They offer special dishes every day, and I personally fell in love with their crispy veggie huramaki with caramelized onions! The service is also perfect; the two staff members are kind and helpful. The value for money is unbeatable.
I chose to dine at this restaurant because it has Chinese, Japanese, and other interesting specialties on the menu. The great thing is that, in addition to the wide selection, there's also a huge selection of vegan food. I tried the sushi and a few appetizers, all delicious and very varied. I highly recommend it and will be back!
I'm updating my review after two years. I've been a customer for over a decade and can confidently say that the quality and standards have always remained extremely high. Over time, the restaurant has evolved with intelligence and passion: there's a constant commitment to offering new off-menu dishes, perfecting the service, and enriching the overall experience. In addition to lunch and dinner, the restaurant also offers an excellent aperi-sushi option, ideal for a tasty, convivial moment. Another great strength is the attention to different dietary needs: the menu offers vegan and gluten-free options, all carefully considered. The atmosphere is welcoming and versatile, with a smoking room equipped with hookah service and an outdoor terrace perfect for pleasant days. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well in a warm, modern, and ever-evolving setting. A special thanks to Viktor, who always makes me feel at home ❤️
Restaurant with many specialties from Asian cuisine, especially Japanese and Chinese. Location with discrete but well-managed space and with a small outdoor terrace. Menu rich in vegan proposals with traditional oriental dishes but completely plant-based, well cooked and served Wine and beer, even Chinese, excellent.
If you are a weary Asian traveler or a local feeling adventurous, try the beef calderetta! Very authentic + masarap.
I've been coming here from Turin for 10 years to eat Chinese. The dumplings are sublime, the fried ice cream is fantastic, and everything is top-notch! The owner's kindness is beyond ordinary; he's offered to give me a ride from the station several times because I was coming by train and without it, I wouldn't have made it in time. A heartfelt thank you from a celiac in Turin. P.S.: They also make delicious gluten-free Japanese food.
We tried this Asian restaurant because they also serve gluten-free food. The place itself isn't anything fancy, but the food is definitely good and high-quality. They offer menus ranging from €15 to €20, including a choice of first and second courses, water, coffee, and optional side dishes. We found everything very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll be back.
Very good food, an endless dedicated vegan menu. The ramen (seitan-katzu version) is amazing. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The ravioli are delicious, as are the potato spaghetti with mushrooms and lotus. Onigiri with turnips are a real hit! Balanced flavors, distinct tastes, and super creative pairings (not the usual three things offered to those following a plant-based diet). Seeing all those Vs for vegan on every page of the menu made us feel like two kids at an amusement park! Simple and charming atmosphere. Fair prices. The staff is a bit too cold and aloof...if I really had to find a flaw. But definitely a highly recommended place!
My favourite restaurant when it comes to sushi and sashimi. My friend and I have been going for years and it's always good. They also have a wine list with nice affordable wines.

Long Jin Sushi is a very good Sushi Restaurant located quite near to the center of Novara. It offers a big range of food for really good prices!
Not vegan but has a vegan card full of good choices. I went for the miso soup and a mix of sushi. Opened untill 23:30. The staff was nice and helpful. Great value for your money.

Best food in Novara
The atmosphere and quality/price ratio of the dishes and menu were consistent with the restaurant's character. The service was a bit awkward and chaotic. Out of five set menus, the dishes arrived haphazardly (first some main courses, then the first courses), with one menu arriving completely last. The waitress also awkwardly spilled part of a boiling soup on the table, wetting two phones that were present. Napkins were used to dry the table, but no more were brought unless requested.
Generally nice.
Good and cheap food and a friendly female service. Well' come back
♡..
But for Indian
Nice place, but, if you order warm plates, prepare yourself to wait at least 40 minutes. Horrible service.
