Milord Corso Unione Sovietica Reviews
07/12/25 Dinner. This place is off the beaten tourist track, but mostly frequented by locals. A family atmosphere. The tuna steak was excellent and plentiful, the pizza prepared by a young chef was tasty and light, and the menu was varied and interesting. The bill was reasonable. I would return.
Despite the somewhat gruff welcome (perhaps the owner or manager's personality), I had a truly enjoyable dinner with a first and second course. The dishes were tasty and beautifully prepared, even visually, making the meal more satisfying. Compliments to the chef! The service overall was good; aside from the welcome and the coldness of the lady at the cash register, a smile sometimes makes everything more pleasant! The atmosphere is nothing special. Overall, it would be a 4.5. The friendlier attitude and the smile, which never hurts in restaurants, could be improved!
The food is some of the best in Turino area. Do not drive by this place!
Excellent pizza and pasta
Great food. Eat there twice whilst away with work. Highly recommend.
Great fresh food. Very helpful staff.
The Milord is a local neighbourhood restaurant/pizzeria that serves very good food and excellent pizzas but is also unpretentious , reasonably priced and friendly. If you have babies /children they are very welcoming and can make suggestions on the menu for them too. The service is very quick ( 10-15 minutes both times I visited) I highly recommend the Milord if you're staying in a local hotel or passing through Turin as the restaurant is around 5 minutes from the motorway junction for Corso Unione Sovietica.
Traditional unpretentious good quality Italian food with great service
Impressive food for a small place, very busy, but very friendly staff, prices are acceptable
Discovered almost by chance, this place is just outside Turin, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The atmosphere is old-fashioned, understated, and quiet. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The food is truly delicious. Recommended for anyone looking for a quiet evening with good company and good food.
Excellent lunch with a €10 fixed menu I went to Milord for lunch and tried the promotional €10 fixed menu (main course, water, and coffee). Everything was really good: fresh dishes, generous portions, and friendly service. A great find for a lunch break in the center of Turin. I'll gladly return!
I went for dinner with a group of friends; we all ordered pizza and dessert. The pizzas were very good, with average prices. The atmosphere is quite simple, nothing special. The staff was friendly.
Milord is a place that left me a bit unimpressed. The pizza is good, but nothing special, nothing that will make you cry out for a miracle or, conversely, disappoint you. It's a "just right" pizza, in short. The other dishes I saw passing by looked plentiful and appetizing, but having not tried anything else, I can't give a full review. Overall, it's a place that could be better, but it's not bad either. It deserves three stars, but I wouldn't give it four.
We tried this restaurant as a family with two pizzas and Spritzes, but we were disappointed. The Spritzes had almost no flavor: too much water and only a faint aroma. The pizzas were not up to scratch, with the dough still raw in the center. In terms of ambiance, the decor is nonexistent, and the maintenance leaves something to be desired: the walls and radiator are very dirty, with old spills visible. Finally, the refrigerator with the desserts, placed in the center of the room, gave an unsanitary impression. An overall disappointing experience, both in terms of the food and hygiene.
Besides the octopus, which was okish, I did not like anything else. The spaghetti with clams had no flavour. The grilled aubergines were not good. The octopus and the tuna were presented with a nonsensical bunch of grilled (inedible) spaghetti. They can do better. I won’t be coming back again.
