La Filiale Corte Franca Reviews
The pizza’s are very nice, “The base dough” exceptional. Friendly efficient service, a great wine selection with beautiful “Franciacorta” (local Champagne) options. The deep fried pizza with salami & ricotta was wonderfully rich, something sweet like preserved figs or watermelon could really elevate this 💚 The buffalo blue cheese with anchovy oil, heavenly as a combination👌🏻🍀 Great fresh ingredients make great pizza, an overall “fine pizza dining” experience!
Wow wow wow! Amazing pizza, we loved it. Can't recommend enough.
Delicious pizza crafted by the famous Italian chef Franco Pepe. We tried three different varieties and shared them all. Each pizza was exceptional in flavor, texture, and ingredients. The dough was particularly impressive - fluffy and full of taste. The ingredients were not only high quality and delicious but also arranged in an artistic and beautiful manner. This is a must-visit if you are in the region.
Delicious pizza. We sat outside under the trees and it was so refreshing on a hot day. Wonderful that they do lunch on Sundays!
If you’re into Naples-style pizza this is your place. They use high quality ingredients and the dough is really fluffy and light. Besides the classic ones, you can also find some peculiar ones, which I think is a huge plus for the adventurous people who wants to try some new combinations. The location is definitely a nice one since it is surrounded by trees and makes you feel immerse in nature.
By far the best sofisticated pizzas i experienced in the north of Italy. Expensive but worth every €
The best pizza I’ve ever had after 4 years living in Italy and searching. Ready to book a trip to Naples to see if the original location has even better pizza. Stay tuned. Until then, if you’re in northern Italy - try it.
La Filiale serves up creative, high-quality pizzas in a beautiful setting. The flavors are definitely more gourmet than classic — think zucchini flower with smoked cheese and anchovies, or prosciutto cotto with artichokes. Everything we tried was delicious, but keep in mind you can’t make substitutions or changes to the pizzas. The place was packed, so a reservation is a must. If you’re open to bold flavor pairings and looking for a different take on Italian pizza, it’s worth a visit!
Pizza is OK but absolutely not on par with the Pepe in Grani HQ in Caiazzo. Staff very helpful in rearranging the reservation due to a late arrival on my side.
Excellent for pizza, exceptional location, amazing history for Albereta. A little bit disappointed with the level of service, at the level of location you expect very high standards and qualification foe the staff
Very nice location, on the posh side. Two floors, the lower one with a nice bar, but you are sitting at the entrance in front of the door, and at top a great room with nice, comfortable tables and wide windows. Ask to be sit upstair. Franco Pepe is behind this pizzeria and the expectation are very high, but unfortunately, the front doesn't match the back. Service was ok, but not on point, pizzas arrive at slight different times and the table lights were jumpy. High quality raw materials and very interesting combinations are not valorised because of poor execution. Pizza tasted like burned oven and the dough was over proofed. It is not a bad pizza, but definitely a far cry from what you would expect from the context.
We really had high expectations given the reputation and reviews but we were very disappointed. The pizza dough was good, but they hadn't enough variety in options as toppings. Moreover, the staff prefers definitely the guests of the hotel, they get served first even if they arrive later. At last, DON'T GET DESSERT! They only have 3 options and two of them are really bad. The tiramisu was worst than supermarket one, and the chocolate cake was like a brick of a wall, without any flavor!
Went as we’d heard such fuss about their pizzas. Ordered one recommended by the waiter. It was so terrible we could not eat even 2 bites. Was bitter greens on a bed of onions soaked in oil. Sent it back and asked for a Margherita to be safe. It was edible but not much else I can say about it. Their dough which is what the rave seemed to be about, is just like any artisanal pizza dough in the US; nothing extra special. When the bill came, of course, they charged for both pizzas. Shows how little they care for customer experience and the only thing that matters to them is their check book. Do not recommend going there at all.
