Pacific Catch Corte Madera Reviews
Delicious food! Excellent service and amazing ambience.
While traveling for work I had the 3 taco dinner delivered to my hotel, fish, shrimp and steak. The meal was delicious and when I come back I would not hesitate to eat here again. Simply delicious!
I will drive over an hour from Sacramento just to eat here. The menu changed a bit since I got hooked ... my favorite dish (appears to be no longer available) was the chimichurri bowl with grilled salmon over a bed of salad greens and quinoa. Still, it is a wonderful experience to dine here.
Looking for a good seafood family owned restaurant and we found it here. We ordered the clams and clam chowder. Very tasty and really enjoyed the chowder. Too full for dessert. You know it is good when the parking lot is full
What a great lunch spot! Took my 7 year old on Sunday and we had the most delicious, relaxing, lovely lunch. He got the kids California roll which was actually made with real crab, which he loved. I did a small Japanese ahi poke bowled it was great too. Also our waiter was very kind and attentive. I'd love to come back here soon!
Pacific Catch is one of my go-to places for a celebratory dinner. Delicious & nutritious options with great portion sizes & quality! Dined in at this location with a friend- we got the salmon bowl and the ahi poke bowl. My favorite is definitely the salmon bowl but the poke bowl is also very good. My family loves the way this place does brussels sprouts and makes them so sweet! Service was great and so friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available- I sat indoor and can comment on the beautiful, clean, modern look of the interior space. Even getting a regular water felt fancy with a little slice of lime on the side. Will keep coming back & bringing friends.
May 2025: Stopped by for lunch and ordered a grilled salmon bowl. Came with a very nice quinoa and brown rice base, avocado 🥑, and a salad. Portion size for the small was very good. Salmon was grilled and seasoned 😋 perfectly. Would definitely get the salmon bowl again. Sat outside in the small patio. Very pleasant on a May afternoon. Service was friendly and attentive. Would come back again!
A quick visit to an old friend brought me to Corta Madera, and since I was here I went up to the Firehouse to see Gus the fireman and bring him a Salmon Sandwich from the Pacific Catch Restaurant. What a treat! Never in your whole life will you ever experience a better salmon sandwich! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
I had a wonderful experience at Pacific Catch. I arrived with my group of about 15. Parking was very convenient. We made a same day reservation so we were seated right away. The server took our orders and within 15-20 minutes our food was being served. I ordered the 2-piece Alaskan Cod fish with sweet potato fries and cole slaw. I was pleased. Other members of my party all enjoyed their meals. Some meals were $10-$20 and some were $20-$30, nice size portions. I highly recommend Pacific Catch and they get a thumbs up.
Have gluten free menu. Food was good and bad, some dish are really good like the miso cod and anything grilled, but things like fish & chip are just…ok. Tasted like frozen food reheated in the microwave, not very satisfying. Drinks are pretty good and the atmosphere is nice, the waiter was very friendly too.
Went to dinner for the first time with my partner for Valentine’s Day. Reservation was much needed for the day. After placing our order the waitress was not attentive. The water had ran out of water and server did not check on us or provide refill. We had noticed that she was more attentive towards bigger groups, assuming due to gratuity. The other servers did a good job at checking on their table so your experience will depend on which server you get.
While traveling through the area, I was seriously craving some fresh seafood. This spot came highly recommended by the local hotel staff, and with so many great reviews, it felt like a solid choice. The restaurant itself is pretty vibey with a cute outdoor area and fire pit along with good, clean decor inside. I was seated quickly near the bar, but unfortunately, that’s where the service kind of fell apart. I sat through about 2–3 innings of baseball (luckily it was on TV) before anyone came by to take my order. My drink never showed up, and my food actually arrived before it did. The bartender was very apologetic and offered to comp a dessert or another drink, which I appreciated — but then the check arrived at the end without a mention of it again. Now, onto the food: the crispy fish taco was genuinely delicious — light, crunchy, and packed with fresh flavor. The Chilean sea bass taco, though, missed the mark for me. It was a bit too fishy and had more heat than I was expecting, which overpowered the fish itself. The fries were also a letdown — limp and undercooked, not crisp or golden like I was hoping. Overall, this place was just okay. Would I go back? Maybe, if I was nearby and in a pinch — there’s a lot more on the menu that looks promising. But based on this visit, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.
I ordered a lobster and shrimp Louis salad for my husband as he’s been unwell and the photo on their website was the first thing he showed interest in in weeks. I asked for no cherry tomatoes and a different dressing and went to pick it up. While waiting for the hostess to deal with those ahead of me, I was appalled. People with reservations for inside tables were told to eat outside (it was chilly) or “get out.” This happened repeatedly. When it was my turn, I asked for my to go order. She handed it to me and again said, “get out!” I didn’t check the salad until I was home. It had 4 shrimp, as pictured. Lots of lettuce. No tomatoes. One hard boiled egg. Some Hawaiian bread pieces. And maybe a tablespoon, if I’m being generous, of lobster bits. No avocado, no asparagus. The blue cheese dressing was missing and a watery vinegar was there. I called. For $40++ this was a bad joke. I was put on hold for 10+ minutes, then told they were busy, then told I was a liar! I asked for the manager. Omar, the manager sensed I was very angry. I said I wanted a replacement salad delivered. Or, a full refund. We are waiting for the refund. Could I have been more chill? Maybe? Sure. But when your loved one is super sick and finally sees something that looks like exactly what they want and then you are given a pile of lettuce and an egg! Plus, the service ethos sucks.
This was our first time here. We visited San Francisco and wanted some fish in the way back. I looked up fish restaurant in Google. This place had very good reviews. But alas , the reviews aren't accurate. It was beautiful inside and out. But, the staff isn't consistent. The front girls attitude wasn't pleasant, almost as if she was asking why we were there. Just eyeing us. She sat us on a tiny two person table. It was very busy around our table. Probably the worst spot. The old ladies around us keep getting up with their walkers . I had to lean forward cause the layout was idiotic. Everything was to tight. Everyone walking past us,Including the staff with empty dishes made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. So we decided to order a pork belly roll thing, a firecracker roll. And an upgraded fish and chips thing Also a couple juice drinks,. The silverware had seen better days, with Tanes bent and both sets of knives and forks were extremely scratched up, as if they were purchased at thrift store. No exaggeration. So how's the food? ... Well. The rolls were...eeh. very mediocre. Not much flavor. I was expecting something that pops out, or stands out with the name of Firecracker, one would expect that. But no. Not even close. The food was on par with a typical medium quality chain restaurant. Our server for some reason didn't put in our main order... So we had to wait. Im glad we didn't get the fresh fish, since it was very likely that would be disappointing. I'll say though, the fish and chips were pretty good. . Not amazing. I will go elsewhere for fish next time we go visit San Francisco. But this one is a no
