La Corte di Canobbio Cortemilia Reviews
Pasticceria La Corte di Canobbio, located in the beautiful Upper Langhe in Cortemilia, was a fantastic discovery during the International Hazelnut Fair. Here, hazelnuts, the undisputed kings of the region, are transformed into true dessert masterpieces. I tried the traditional cake, with its authentic and rich flavor, and the Baci di Dama (lady's kisses), which melt in your mouth with their perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. But the real show was the hazelnut gelato: creamy, intense, and authentic, an explosion of flavor that pays homage to local tradition. The courtesy of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere complete an experience I recommend to all lovers of sweets and traditional Langhe products. A must-see for anyone visiting the area!
Delicious hazelnuts cake with and without chocolate topping So glad i discovered this
A pastry shop founded in 1963 (my "conscript" 😃 ). The interior is very charming, with its exposed brick arched ceiling. Their hazelnut cake is an A+. I promise myself I'll return for a coffee at their outdoor tables, in a charming little square.
Nice little bar for wine, coffe and pastry in the old centre of Cortemilia. The restaurant is located in the old part of the city at a nice authentic square under the old castle (a ruin). The inside has a very nice atmosphere and outsid is a terrace on the square. The personnel is very friendly. An excellent place to rest and have a drink.
Top!
I'd like to leave this review for your pastry shop. Recently, after a tasting in Barolo, I picked up a few products from your shop, and due to a small problem, I wrote to the pastry shop to tell them what happened. Claudia immediately replied, offering to send me a package, which arrived today. We'll gladly try all the products; they're already truly delicious, and I thank you for your kindness and care for your customers. We'll definitely visit your pastry shop again when we're in the area. Thanks again! Adel
Gelato was out of this world. Some of the best I’ve had in Italy. Better than Rome, Florence and Venice.
Best cookies in Piemonte!
Wide assortment of Hazelnut delights and more. I tried the classic hazelnut cake which I found truly delicious. Soft and dry at the right point. Not excessively sweet and with a pleasant flavor. The various flavored hazelnuts are exquisite and the ice cream is also super. Congratulations, I will definitely be back!
I found the place to be very well-maintained, with kindness and professionalism that were top marks. The pastry products are high-quality, especially the hazelnuts, which are enhanced in various ways and flavors, from the excellent cake to the amazing hazelnut cream. What can I say about the interior, which exudes the charm of the past, with wood and stone mixed with modern day modernity—a perfect combination, to say the least. Outside, there is a plaza with tables and chairs, where you can enjoy the excellent homemade dishes. The place is suitable for families and wheelchair users; there are no particular architectural barriers, but I'm sure the staff will be happy to lend a hand if needed.
Best hazelnut cake and bakery products. Great customer service and welcoming environment. Whatever you buy here, it worth the money, trust me ;)
