Great service, really friendly and Elisa was awesome and gave me a big pita because I had forgotten mine the night before. The lamb meatballs and harissa chicken are fantastic, and all is healthy and filled with great flavor. Second night in a row back.
Elisa truly made our experience at CAVA amazing! From the moment we walked in, she was welcoming, attentive, and so kind. Even while we waited for our pickup order, she made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. The store had such a great atmosphere—clean, energetic, and well-run—and you can tell the team works really well together. Elisa’s customer service alone is a reason to come back, but the entire staff and vibe sealed the deal. We’ll definitely be returning to this location again!
Shout out to Elisa for providing the best customer service. She took care of us while we wait for our pick up order. The whole store gave us. The best ambience and the mood was set correctly. Will be returning back to his location specifically just for the team!

I’m very happy with this CAVA Location. From my experience, I’ve never had to wait so long in line compared to the one in Huntington Beach and the one in Irvine. I was very happy with the crew. They were all so friendly and had a smile on their face, which is something I rarely see when I order food. LUIS was very nice as he helped prepare my order. ANGEL made sure that I scanned the QR CODE on the app again because I scanned the app at the wrong time! In the past, I had scanned at the wrong time and later found I did not receive my points. I’m thankful I was able to receive my points. ELISA was also nice to help me with my order & made sure I had everything I needed in my bag. Overall, I’m very happy with this location and this crew did an amazing job that I had to ask what their names were in order to make a review. Thank you guys so much! -Yvonne
Elisa and Debbie are wonderful! So helpful, great customer service and all with a smile. Listened to what I wanted in my order and asked if there was anything more I needed.. that’s a plus to me bc it shows they care that I’m leaving with everything I need and want. They were cleaning and keeping the restaurant looking welcoming when I came in. Always happy to come to this location. Thank you Elisa and Debbie.
We had a large group (3 cars) that arrived just before closing, and the manager (I wish I could remember her name; I must be getting old!) was fantastic. They made fresh rice, and everybody left full and happy. I tried to give her a ridiculously large cash tip, and she said, "Thanks, but no, I'm just glad you were pleased with the service and our food!" We are definitely going back. Dave Winters from SLC
Excellent staff here! A very polite and helpful gentleman working there let me get small samples on the meats(delicious btw) a blueberry soda on the house (so yummy) while waiting for my Door Dash order to be ready. Thanks CAVA staff! 🖤

Every person on the line was patient, knowledgeable, and took real pride in making sure my bowl was exactly how I wanted it. No rushing, no attitude — just great energy and excellent service. The team worked seamlessly together, the restaurant was clean and well-run, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell this location is well managed and that the staff actually cares about the customer experience. This is how fast-casual dining should be done. Huge shout-out to the entire team — you made my day, and I’ll absolutely be back. 👏🥙🔥
I love Cava and have gone to many locations throughout OC and LA. But in all honesty, the Costa Mesa location is the best! Always clean, quick service and the employees are all kind and attentive. Special shout out to Elisa who I’ve gotten to know during my many visits. She’s always warm, friendly and very customer service oriented. All in all, when there are so many places to eat in and around CM, it’s places like Cava with yummy food and excellent customer service that keep me coming back.
This review is for Debbs. I was here tonight, a busy Friday evening and the place was slammed and backed up. My online order was running late and Debbs was nice enough to offer me a drink for the wait. It was obvious she was working very hard and doing her best to keep things moving forward and efficiently, given the circumstances. I just want to acknowledge her efforts and work. The food is also great, of course.
Burnt sweet potatoes and very low amount of meat, has potential though They were running low on meat and decided to skimp out on it Asked for more meat and some properly cooked sweet potatoes and worker said “meat is extra” well you never gave that Proper amount of meat in the first place. Ended up tossing the bowl
I'm a big fan of cava and even hold stock and cava. But wow this location was really bad (And it seems like for whatever reason most are a little bit on the slower end, which I still can't comprehend compared to other restaurants similar)... We came in at night and literally there was a good line in maybe eight people in front of us and it literally took us 30 minutes to get to the register and I timed it.... They only had one person working the line and in all honesty he was slower than any person I've ever seen at Chipotle/subway or anywhere (maybe he was tired and worked a long day so that is a possibility so don't harp on them too much but maybe give him a good thought or lesson as it wasn't his fault really) You would think if there's one person and you see a huge line and everyone's getting irritated that he could at least move a little bit faster... Let alone really quick... Sounds like they were short-staffed that night. But maybe as an owner or manager you can reward people who come to work and actually work hard and efficiently. Give him a $25 gift card or something on a really bad night like this if they worked over and above. Also, half of their toppings were gone/out... The only worker that was going and busting her butt was one of the cooks. Hats off to you. And to the company don't run your staff at razor thin margins. Add another person to the shift, knowing someone will probably call out let alone two or three people... It's not rocket science.
It’s 6:45 on a weeknight. They do not close until 10pm. How are you out of dressing, topping, and drinks? Also the customer service is terrible. They rush you and are short with you. They don’t listen when you ask for something. I asked for light pickled onions and he plops a whole serving on, and when I say that’s too much he rolls his eyes and takes some off. This is a reoccurring experience too. I haven't been here since last summer, and thought surely it can’t be as bad as i remember. Well turns out it’s worse. Management needs to teach their employees customer service etiquette. The food is fine, but you should be better prepared for the dinner rush. Not worth it.
Very disappointed in mobile ordering from this store (DoorDash). I have ordered in store multiple times with no issue. Bowl is filled with the ingredients, protein, and more to the top. I ordered from DoorDash and the bowl was $20. When I received it, it was missing ingredients that were ordered (corn, pickled onions) barely any meat, and looked like it was already eaten because of how little food there was. Not sure if the store has changed the way they prepare the bowls, or if they do this for just mobile orders. Just a warning to those planning to order online.
