Warm Puppy Cafe Cotati Reviews
Snoopy tastes good. A perfect spot to chill after museum, with cute Snoopy touches everywhere you look. Bonus: you can watch the ice skaters glide by right from the window. Cozy, fun, and oddly hard to leave.
Warm puppy cafe was so nostalgic! Had the warm lights and Christmas music on and felt like an old Christmas movie from the 90s. You can watch people ice skating from the cafe too! The tuna melt was surprisingly so good, fries were perfectly crispy and salty. Hot cocoa was soooo sweet though.
I loved all the snoopy decor, everything was so cute and fun. I ordered the snoopy special, which was a hot dog, lays chips, and a plastic souvenir dog bowl for $10 total, along with a root beer float. both were pretty good but I was mostly happy about getting a souvenir for pretty cheap haha (it doesn't show on the picture, but there's a small black "warm puppy" logo with snoopy and woodstock on it). the cafe was connected to the skating rink but we didn't check out that other side as we were only there for lunch.
The Warm Puppy Cafe is such a charming little spot! I tried both the Gang hot chocolate and the Snoopy hot chocolate—and they were both delicious. The Gang had a Reese’s-style peanut butter flavor that was rich, chocolatey, and so cozy. The Snoopy was smooth and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for a chilly day! Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—great drinks and super cute vibes!
After an enjoyable visit to the museum and a quick cartoon drawing class in the education canter we took a walk over to the Warm Puppy Cafe. Food was great and came out very quickly. Was fun to watch the ice skating team train for thier next performance while we enjoyed a snack. Staff was very friendly. Certainly is worth a try when you’re in the area.
We absolutely loved our experience at The Warm Puppy Cafe! The service was great, very kind staff, and the hot chocolate was so tasty! It was fun to have so many hot chocolates to choose from. The cafe was warm and inviting, I love that it feels like traveling back in time in the best way possible.
We stopped in for lunch after spending some time at the museum next door. It was pretty busy during lunch but the crowds disappear fairly quickly if you are there after 1pm, and we easily found seating in a cozy corner during the lunch rush. We each had the breaded chicken strips and fries and they were both fantastic. The chicken strips are full breasts and were cooked perfectly and juicy. That dish comes with ranch but we had to go back and ask for some but no biggy really. The staff was friendly and efficient. The little cafe has a large window area so that everyone has a good view of the ice rink. We arrived while hockey players were practicing and then it transitioned into public skating. One of the coolest things at the cafe are all the stain glass windows with Peanuts characters doing their winter things. Even if you don't ice skate I'd recommend stopping in for a bite and some relaxing cool relief from the summer heat.
Cozy place to get a hot drink and watch people on the ice rink year round. First visit to the snoopy museum so it was very nice :D
Cute place to have lunch and oversee the Redwood Empire Ice Arena after a visit to the Charles Schultz Museum. Usual cafe fare - burgers, grilled cheese, fries with a. variety of hot chocolates. I had the Linus hot chocolate with the marshmallows! You can see the table reserved for Charles Schultz who ate his English muffin with grape jam there every morning before starting to work on his comic strip.
Tuna melt was perfect and the tomato soup was very tasty 🥪:) the cafe is historic and Charles Schulz himself frequented!
There’s nothing quite like visiting the Schulz Museum and getting a cup of cocoa as you watch ice skaters from the Warm Puppy Cafe. The food here is pretty straightforward with a kids friendly menu. The cocoa is rich and covered in frothy whipped cream. Snoopy adorns the stain glass and there’s a huge statue in the lobby where you can get your ice skates.

Went here for lunch after visiting the Charles Schulz Museum across the street. The cafe is inside next to the Snoopy Ice Skating Rink. Fun to watch people skate while munching on yummy snacks and drinking hot cocoa. Waiting in line took awhile, it was a crowded Saturday afternoon, but once we put our orders in, it was a short wait. Not too much money. Food was filling and tasted just fine. You spend just as much, or more at McDonald’s for less quality. Recommend coming here and stay for the ice skating !
Sept 2025. Only 62 reviews? It's a 5-star review for a 70-80s style diner/cafe. The Warm Puppy is a cafe built into the lobby of the Redwood Empire Ice Arena. The arena and cafe were built by Charles Schulz. A museum dedicated to the author of Peanuts is across the street. A table dedicated to Charles (Sparky) is set aside with a 'reserved' sign waiting for the talented - but humble - genius to arrive. It's a cafe folks. It's just fine for what it is. We ordered sandwiches with fries. They were good and reasonably priced. Staff had trouble with English, but they created delicious sandwiches in a timely manner. What else do you expect?
The tomato soup was some of the best I have ever had! If I lived there this would be a regular spot of mine. It was so cute.

Wow. As someone that grew up with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang - this was amazing and oddly emotional. The museum itself is incredible, and topping it off at the Warm Puppy is perfect. I felt like I was in a Time Machine back to the 80s/80s, in all the best ways. The ambience, the friendly people, the cartoon memories, etc. I miss those simpler times, and it was amazing to experience a brief trip back to those days. Thank you to the awesome staff at the Warm Puppy and Schultz Museum!
Could there be a cuter name? Honestly, I loved it for the name alone, but for a cafe style sandwich spot, this was surprisingly good. I haven’t had a tuna melt in 20 years but thought this one was really good (albeit too big) and with a nice Cesar salad for $15, a great deal. And we got to watch the entertaining ice skaters while we enjoyed our lunch. I would have given it 5 stars except the suggested tip was based on the total including tax. I disagree with this policy and noticed it too late.
Food is solid, but it's quite expensive. There's practically no service inside of the building itself, to the point that you can hardly send a text message. You can eat outside though.
This place is pretty good and the service is fast, but they need to fry their chicken tenders a little bit longer because every time we order them they’re slightly raw inside

The food was ok, however why wasn't the cook wearing gloves while preparing it? Granted he was busy and worked hard to get everything out, but that doesn't mean he can't be sanitary.
We wanted to get the Snoopy bowl as a souvenir. Next to the kitchen I saw a bunch of mugs but I didn't see them advertised so I asked and they are $15. I ordered both and a drink. We waited for a long while and when I went up and asked the girl she was like "oh you haven't gotten it?". She went behind the counter and started to make the food. She didn't wash her hands and didn't use gloves but she was touching everything. We ended up tossing out the hotdog and my son was so bummed about it. I don't recommend this place other than to take pictures. Hand hygiene is important and if you look at the workers here none seem to do it. They go from one thing to the next. I wish I would have noticed this earlier and just tried to buy the bowl by itself. We won't be going back.
We wait for a burger with avocado it comes cold and when we go to ask where's the avocado? they said it's an avocado spread not chunks (menu simply says avocado) and then ran to the back of the kitchen to avoid discussion. When you add avocado from the menu for $1 you expect to have at least the taste of it... Le burger était froid, il n'y avait pas l'avocat alors qu'on a payé un supplement, je vous déconseille le "restaurant".
