Carnitas "Chela" Coyoacán Reviews
Good service and customer service, the food was very good, I can't say about everything because I only ate carnitas, but everything looked delicious.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The best carnitas…
The cost is high for the quality of the ingredients; the preparation and presentation of the stew was unpleasant. They delivered a skewer with a lot of grease and a uniform dark color; the color of the pepper, onion, meat, or sausage was indistinguishable, everything was dark. I suppose their griddle or pan is very dirty and the black residue from previous stews comes off. The pepper was overcooked.
The carnitas are very tasty, the tacos are large, I'm full with 2, the waters are made with natural fruits and are very tasty too, I recommend them, you won't regret it.
If you're in Mexico City and looking for a place to enjoy GREAT carnitas, Carnitas Chela on the famous Calzada del Hueso is your destination! From the moment you walk in, the aroma envelops you and transports you directly to the heart of Mexican gastronomy. The carnitas here have spectacular flavor and color, juicy and perfectly seasoned. But the stars of the menu are the gorditas, especially the cottage cheese gorditas with green sauce! That combination of creaminess and the spicy touch of the sauce will make you want to order more and more. Carnitas Chela is not only a feast for your palate and stomach, but also the perfect place to show a foreigner what true Mexican cuisine is all about. Here, every bite is a lesson in culture and culinary tradition. I give special recognition to their carnitas, which are undoubtedly among the best in southeastern Mexico City. So, if you're in the area, don't miss this culinary gem. Get ready for a fun and delicious dining experience you won't forget! On one side are bars and party venues.
Yum
Sidewalk carnitas tacos. The best tasting tacos for miles around. Well served, very clean for a street food restaurant, and delicious handmade tortillas. There's no parking, which sometimes causes towing issues. They also have gorditas and quesadillas. Delicious flavored waters. Recommended.
Super
It's a place I've only been to at night because of my job. The service is good; the guys who served us [a boy and a girl] have always been very kind and friendly. As for the flavor of the food, I found it very delicious, especially the carnitas (despite the time of day I go), they have a very good consistency. Despite the taqueria concept, you can spend a quiet and pleasant time.
It is a very good place to eat carnitas and their pork variants like gorditas and tacos al pastor, the waters are delicious, it is generally an average service as long as there are not many people, it is open almost all week all day, except that the last time we arrived in the afternoon and there were only about 3 tables with diners and even so we waited a long time for the order (28 min), and as we let the waiter on duty know,
Among the options for eating carnitas in a nearby establishment, these are the best. Carnitas tacos (solid, trompa, buche, nana, etc.) But they also have a variety of other dishes on the menu: pozole, charro beans, gorditas, etc. Drinks include soda, fresh water, and beer. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Obviously, they're cheaper at the stands, but even the stand on the other side of the street is theirs.
If you live in the south of the city, you should know that there aren't many options for delicious carnitas tacos, but these tacos are some of the best in the south. The tortillas are handmade, the tacos are well-plated and very flavorful, and the salsas aren't spicy or rich, but they're good enough to accompany your taco. The taqueria is very clean, the service is good, and the prices are very affordable.
Very good pastor! I'll be back, but the carnitas weren't fresh; they were old and dry :(
I ordered six carnitas tacos through DiDi. It gave me the option to order six tacos, so I did. They gave me three salsa options: tatemada, salsa verde, and guacamole. I ordered the green and the guacamole, but I only received the red tatemada 😡😡😡 They did whatever they wanted. I ONLY RECEIVED ONE TACO!!!
I ordered sudadero tacos at 10:30 pm and they gave me what they wanted, they made me meat tacos with what they had leftover from the morning, instead of sudadero like I asked for, commenting that it has too much leather and basically I didn't eat it because suadero should be beef not pork and they gave me what they wanted, terrible service
