KFC Cuauhtémoc Reviews
This place was great!! We needed to catch our tour and so needed food quickly but also had a few dietary restrictions that made it hard. Ricardo Jesus worked with us to figure out what we could eat that would be ready fast. We got our food (which was delicious and had good portion sizes) and finished all before the bus was scheduled to arrive. Very grateful to the staff here!
Great service! Food was excellent
This place was the very first restaurant that web came to afer a long fligt to Mexico City. We found the location to be very conveniently located close to Alameda Park and our hotel. When we arrived at around 5:30pm they were already fairly busy, and there were only a few seating options available. We were seated quickly by a Host, and soon enough we scanned the menu into ur phones. I wanted to play it safe so I went for the spaghetti ala bolognesa. My girlfriend ordered the tacos dorados de pollo. Our Server was able to understand our limited Spanish, and she was helpful about letting us know the drink options. We both just ordered bottled waters, because we plan to go out later for drinks. It didn't take long for our orders the brought to our table, and soon enough we were halfway through the entire meal! The spaghetti was prepared just right, and m girlfriend also gave high mars for the chicken tacos. We had a wonderful experience here.
Great service in such a tiny place, cozy
A consistently good breakfast with ok coffee.
Good food but a little pricey.
No disappointing, coffee is good and "pan dulce" always good. I recomend you Use the QR code scanner because will give more options than regular menu.
Such a busy place they just don't care if you eat there or not. First we were sat upstairs and ignored. So we went back downstairs, let them know this and then they were very nice and sat us downstairs. Here is where I find fault. I hate when restaurants expect you to search for a menu on line. It is so disrespectful not to have paper menus for guests. Worse is not providing free internet when your menu is on line. At Sanborns, you have to provide an email to use their Internet. This crossed the line. We then strongly requested a physical menu. We received one old tattered menu for the both of us. It was not an enjoyable experience so we just got up and left. No harm to the business as I'm sure they quickly filled our seats. As I said, it feels as if they couldn't care less We took ourselves and our money someplace where we were better received. Worked out best for both parties. As far as an amazing physical structure, you cannot beat this specific Sanborns. Come, look around, take your pictures but consider enjoying a meal elsewhere.
All of their locations are terrible. While the service may be fine the food is like something you would get out of a microwave. They should all be closed.
I ordered a rissotto with mushrooms... It had no taste of mushrooms at all and the rice had basically been fried with so much oil that I couldnt finish it. They shouldnt call it rissotto i'm afraid because thats not how you cook it. Expensive and awful.
Just OK, difficult to order, (we speak English only but used Google translate) slow service, brought coke with ice from a machine instead of a can so had to send that back. Food bland. Withheld tip when paying at cashier without asking. Wouldn’t recommend.
Bit of a rip off cafe! Asked for tips for takeaway sandwich, which was a bit lame and tasteless but still costed over $220 (pesos)! Especially the service was unfriendly, no hello, no good morning but quick to ask for a tip on a takeaway order!
Service was slow and waitress forgot some of the order. I had the worst encalada I've had
0 stars if I could! Absolutely terrible service, and they weren't even busy at 6pm. First, the waiter lied to me and said they had no coffee (it's a cafe...), then a few minutes later he served other people coffee. He told me they only had chocolate - which is more expensive. And the chocolate was not that good. Pay the same at El Cardenal for a luxurious cup of Mexican hot chocolate, Sanborns is terrible and lumpy, not even hot. Then the waiter didnt give me all my change properly. Avoid this dump.
