Nice restaurant. I visited it several times. The food is Mexican cuisine and is very good. The ambient is nice. They provide calories for all the dishes, which is convenient.

Great food and reasonable prices. Much like a Denny's in the United States.

Good service. Franchised restaurant, so you know exactly what to expect.

I went to Vips a few days ago and was impressed. The place is comfortable, clean, and has a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for going with family or hanging out with friends. I ordered a breakfast with Mexican-style eggs, beans, and tortillas, and everything was well-prepared and tasty. The menu has many options, so it's easy to find something you're craving. The staff was friendly and attentive, although it did take a while to bring the food. That was the only thing I didn't love, but it wasn't a big deal either. Overall, I liked the experience. The food is good, the price is fair, and the atmosphere is pleasant. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Gringo friendly menu with pictures. Other gringos describe this chain as like a Dennys in the US, which is fair. I tried this place because I thought it would be easier to order with my middle school español, and it was. I got the Milanese Traditional, came with fries and guacamole and I really liked it. I ordered a bottle of water and it was warm! When I complained, the waiter, who was way cool, said they didn’t have cold ones(!) and offered me ice. I decided to go back for breakfast for the same reasons. Breakfast didn’t go as smoothly. I just wanted scrambled eggs and coffee, and for some reason coffee has really been an unexpected struggle here in CDMX. First they tried to push yogurt I didn’t want. After I pulled off coffee (1 creamer per!) the waitress plunked down some kind of pastries I didn’t want. I ordered revueltas which came with ham, re-fart beans, a croissant and apparently a bread puck was also included. The breakfast comes with fruit or juice I didn’t want, but informed it was included, I got fruit. This also gave me the vocabulary to send away the pastries I didn’t order. Also gave me the incentive to try a place where I need more Spanish but they push less. Would go back for dinner or lunch if I was in the mood for that sort of food. Weird display of Hello Kitty Merch up front too.

Vips is the Denny's of Mexico. It's a food you can always rely on. Homie and yummy

I ate here a couple of times while I was in Mexico City. On November 27, 2020, I got enchiladas de mole for 131 pesos, and then the coffee, cold drink, and soup for another 51 pesos. On November 29, I got the enchiladas suizas for 133 pesos and, again, the coffee, cold drink, and soup. I was disappointed they didn't have espresso. They said the machine was broken. The US-style brewed coffee was quite mediocre. But the food and service were good.

Like an American Dennys or IHOP. Service was ok, the meal was good. I'd recommend pancakes, pan de Muertos and crape.

Good location, food is good, but service was a bit below standard. It seemed like everyone had a rough morning and customers had to pay for it.

Really nice Mexican breakfasts and reasonably priced. English menus upon request. Kind of like the Denny's of Mexico.

It took too long to attend to me. It took them a while to deliver my food.

They were understaffed. They were extremely friendly though. Our food came cool. It was not hot. They forgot to come back for my drink order. I found then to be overpriced for portions and quality of food.

I guess this is a local chain in Mexico? I compared it to iHOP in the US because the menu options are similar. I wouldn’t say this place is terrible, but there’s nothing special about it. It was nothing the server or staff did. They were great actually. This is just not a restaurant I care to go to again. I suppose it’s fine for travelers or tourists.

Awful costumer service! The waitress was all over us suggesting the most expensive things on the menu, when we did not order what she suggested she got mad. Really? Some of us know what we really want when we go to a restaurant, besides what if I’m on a diet or something, you can’t be mad at me just for order a different thing, our waitress was extremely rude, while I was ordering I did not hear her clearly ( I’m not Mexican so I don’t know very well de food) and she almost scream at me, I’m not being dramatic. So if you are going there be prepared. The food was ok, it’s not the best.

Breakfast packages are much way too expensive for the portion size!! I am not anorexic. Staff is utterly unfriendly & aloof, they take long time to come to refill your coffee and only give you a napkin and you have to ask for more. La Blanca and many other places offer a higher quality service. I am definitely not coming back at all!!

The food was terrible, the service was terrible and we were charged for things we didn't ask for. I will NOT eat here again!!
