Kings Cafe Culver City Reviews
Been meaning to check this place out for a while, and I finally got a chance this afternoon. I ordered the falafel plate. The food was made fresh to order. The falafel was crispy, and the hummus was perfect. He threw in some spicy eggplant, which was fantastic! There’s a small seating area inside and some tables outside if you want to eat there. I did carryout. Love this place! I’ll definitely be stopping by again!
We ordered lamb&beef shawerma plate and Spanakopita plate. Both taste great. They use fresh ingredients and delicious meat. They are friendly and kind. A great place and will come back.
Discovered King's Kabob today and I'm hooked! I got my plate and I felt like a kid at a friend's house and his parents were treating me to a home cooked meal. After a hard gym session and a shopping trip, it was a welcome meal. Definitely coming back and I'm definitely doing it often. Thank you King's Kabob!
So I’ll start this by saying that I’ve eaten a lot of gyros in my life. I like gyros. So when I saw there was a spot near me serving gyros, it really excited me and filled a craving that I had for awhile. I got two lamb gyros with feta cheese and extra tomato/onions. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh from an extremely nice couple. They got my food to me quick and I devoured both. Honestly I could’ve just done one with how big they were. Here are the takeaways: great food, great service, and great prices. That’s all I need
This is THE spot. Fresh, clean incredible food from the sweetest owners. I will be back over and over again :)
First time coming here on a whim. Felt like some good Mediterranean food and Hell yeah, it’s so good. We ordered the beef & lamb shawarma and kafta kabobs. Came with really good rice, fresh pitas, banana pepper, and 2 sauces. Oh and they have a grade A and are very kind people. If you’re looking for some good freshly cooked food, it’s here. My new go to place.
I love the Chicken Kabob plate all day long, but when you crave a Gyro theirs is so delicious! I love the lentil soup when it’s available (homemade!) and have been enjoying coming here for many years, they are a Mom & Pop shop and so friendly focusing on good quality food here. I am always craving King’s Kabob when I want yummy Mediterranean food. I just tried the Spanikopita with Greek Salad and it was delicious! Mike got the Falafel sandwich (in foil) and he loved it!
During this Quarantine I needed comfort food and I came here out of curiosity and came out with LAMB CHOPS😩😭❣️❣️❣️❣️y’all this place is underrated it is amazingly good and looks like a restaurant dish instead of a regular side pickup food place. My new favorite <3
Blended mocha mind blowing I had in different places but here it’s different and taste great the way it was prepared is amazing properly blended correct amount of beans added totally I loved it must try Ll be back soon. Ask for Omar he did my mocha( best)

Love this mom and pop shop. So awesome to see this hardworking older couple work alongside each other. Mom is so friendly at the register, dad is cooking the food right in front of you. Food has a homemade delicious taste, I can’t get enough of the gyro I find myself craving it even if I went yesterday! Highly recommend price level great value.
Great spot! Big portions, great food, and very welcoming owners. Ordered the mixed grill plate. While all three were great, the beef was the best. Great hummus as well. Will definitely be back!
The best spot in all of CC not just because of the amazing food but, also because of the two sweetest owners. This loving duo will fill your belly as well as your heart. 1000% recommend.
If you’re looking for authentic Egyptian style falafel, look no further than here. This place is mom and pop owned and very delicious! The kofta was also very juicy and flavorful. Homemade hummus and yogurt dip too! Will definitely come back soon!
Yummy Mediterranean food! Seriously good! Will be back, service great from the amazing kitchen staff!
Food is fresh and yummy, people very nice, good value for price, nice mom and pop!
tiny place but the couple that run it are so sweet, and everything's homemade. I've gotten the veggie place and the H likes their kebabs, of course. A good choice for Meditteranean food. One time, their son was there too.
Been coming here for ages, never disappoints! Great falafel, shawerma, and gyros
This little spot has been a main stay for Mediterranean food for more than a decade. You are going there for the food. It is neat and clean.

I LOVE the gyro sandwich from this place and its pretty much the only thing I order. If i go early i do have the turkish / arabic coffee but thats a totally different story. The sandwich really is quite amazing; the bread, the thick slices of meat, the pickled pepper tucked inside, the chilled yogurt sauce, chefs kiss. The entree plates are a little overpriced for the portions, but that sandwich is a classic among my local culver city favorites.
Delicious. I recommend the lamb chop plate. Cooked rare. And substitute out the rice for a salad. Great flavor. Made to order. Family vibes.

Friendly staff, but food overpriced and of poor quality. Many of the great reviews of this restaurant seem to be fake. Paid $18 for a shawarma plate with falafel. All the food was very greasy and tasted though it had not be cooked/prepared fresh—very bland with stale texture. Was told plate came with tomato and cucumber; as you can see from photo there are 3 tiny cubes of tomato. Photo is how food was presented.
