Anfora Cureggio Reviews
Friendly staff. Incredible food, the lightest dough I've ever eaten. Very fair prices for the type of restaurant and very welcoming location. Recommended.
Excellent cuisine and fantastic pizza. Friendly and welcoming staff
Pizza party with friends, 13 people. Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. Fast and accurate service. The pizza is very good and tasty, and the crust is light. I requested a dish that wasn't on the menu and was completely satisfied with it. We'll definitely be back.
Fantastic experience every time I've been there, from the table service to the pizza preparation. Every little detail makes for a great evening. For my birthday party, I decided to rely on them for both the main courses and the cake (fruit, my favorite 🥰). Congratulations for the effort you put in every time 💓
Delicious fish
They are really busy on Saturday and i had the best pizza 😉
🍕 🔝
Excellent Calamari Pizza and excellent first courses This Pizzeria Restaurant is now the new benchmark for calamari pizza. The alveolization is fine, the leavening is fine, and the filling is also fine. I'm posting a photo. It's worth the trip even if it's just for the pizza. I'll be back. August 11, 2017 Here I am again. I tried the fresh pasta scialatielli with shrimp, bottarga, and zucchini flowers. One plate was enough for my average midday appetite. The amount of toppings was very adequate to finish the dish. The sublime aspect: a concentration of flavors at the bottom, where you can't resist the much-criticized "restaurant-style" but still beloved mopping up the plate with their fragrant homemade bread. The price is fair and in line with what you get, and probably, thinking about it, they'll even give you a complimentary place setting with a tablecloth and cloth napkins. Quality and taste. Finally, I can say, oh, what a talented chef! (Photo in the gallery)
Great place... Fish is delicious and very well prepared.. Service excellent.. Highly recommended
Good location and convenient parking. Delicious pizza and a good price. Service was fairly quick. We'll definitely return for the pizza; I'll see about the restaurant portion. The pasta was overcooked and served a bit cold.
Food when we finally got it was good. Better to go in small groups, order food to share as it came out at all the wrong times. But overall do not be influenced by this...take a chance and try the really good food.
We had our reservation for 7:30 pm and there were hardly any guests. The service was excellent at that time, and we received our drinks and appetizers immediately. Afterwards, at 8 pm, almost all the tables were occupied, and the service and kitchen staff were noticeably busier. Nevertheless, we received our main courses relatively quickly. The dishes were generally good, with a few shortcomings, such as the prawns not being cooked through and most of the (white) mussels being closed. The seafood selection in the pasta alla scoglio was rather limited. The grilled calamari was good but slightly bitter. The mixed fish platter was good, but the scampi were also undercooked. Unfortunately, after finishing our meal, it took 15 minutes before we could ask for the dessert menu and then another 50 minutes before we received the desserts. The restaurant was already quite busy, but there is clearly room for improvement in the service when it's crowded. I had the impression that orders were being processed on a first-come, first-served basis, which meant our dessert wasn't served until after the large order from the other table. I also had the impression that the cake was frozen. The experience was mixed. The food was good, the service tried hard, but they were simply overwhelmed by the number of guests.
Although the Dantesque title may seem a bit tragicomic, it unfortunately sums up the Stations of the Cross we've been through... Let's start from the beginning: we sat at the table reserved for 8:00 PM for Valentine's Day dinner and ordered the restaurant's seafood tasting menu. After taking our order, the drinks arrived, and around 8:20 PM, the appetizer arrived. So far, so good, but then... after a slightly too long wait for the first course (about 45 minutes), we asked the first waiter to see if there were any problems with the main courses, but he "reassured" us by telling us that the dishes would arrive shortly. Indeed, after another 7 minutes, the seafood spaghetti arrived, plated on plates that weren't exactly clean (unfortunately, by touch and sight, we could tell the dish was greasy). After we finished our first course, a waitress approached us and asked if everything had gone well. When we answered, "No." She explained that the restaurant was very busy, and the kitchen had suffered a lot (we want to point out that the other customers who arrived after us were able to finish their dinner much earlier than us). The most annoying thing was that when it came time to pay, they didn't even ask how the evening had gone or if everything had gone well. Unbelievable. I've been to this place many times in the past and have always had good things to say about both the food and the place itself, BUT this time, sadly, the review is very negative. We're unlikely to return because, in our opinion, customers deserve respect because they pay the bill at the end of the evening, and paying for something that doesn't work without an apology (we want to point out that we always respect other people's work, as we deal with this type of work ourselves) is really infuriating.
