Kimmie's Coffee Cup is a charming cafe known for its friendly and attentive staff and delicious food. The breakfast burrito is a standout, and the coffee is highly praised. Some find the menu limited and prices high.
Tip: The coffee is a must-try, described as the best restaurant coffee some customers have had.

Charming cafe/diner, excellent for breakfast/brunch. Staff is nice and fast with their service. I ordered the coffee cup , best diner coffee I had yet. I also ordered tier Vanilla Cinnamon French Toast, nice and fluffy. Sweet with hot syrup. Taste so good. A good place for breakfast and brunch!
Kimmie's was amazing. The outdoor seating was decorated for fall, the servers were all extremely friendly and kind, food came out quickly, and most importantly, was delicious. I added onions to the breakfast burrito, 10/10. It was also huge and could be two meals or split between two people. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great breakfast spot. Coffee was delicious as well!!
Great feel at home breakfast joint. Excellent choices both for meat lovers or vegetarians as well. The staff are very friendly and attentive they visit your table from time to time for coffee refills or just in case you still need anything else. Don't forget to try their avocado egg Benedict. Will come back again with friends next time.
Friendly staff, not too busy, and tasty breakfast. The cinnamon French toast is killer! Nice outdoor patio & decor. Pro tip: Try the fruit cup as a side !
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kimmie’s Coffee Cup (Cypress location) is a true gem for breakfast lovers! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, and the menu has something for everyone. The service was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The diner itself has such a fun, welcoming, community vibe—you can tell it’s a local favorite. Definitely worth a visit!
Kimmie's restaurant is unlike another breakfast location they have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items available. Staff are super friendly. I'm surprised at how well of a service I received. Even when the restaurant was busy, food is absolutely amazing, very delicious, and high quality. I definitely recommend
First off price is a little high for a coffee shop, this isn't Dennys. Which is the awesome part. Nice atmosphere, GREAT food, good service. Service can really hurt a place that has a good menu, but whoever set the standard for Kimmie's knows what they are doing. I usually like to recommend something that I know is good, but I have always had a good meal no matter what we have ordered. I built my own omelet the last visit and it was very well done. Take your time and enjoy, suggest breakfast for lunch anytime.
Been having breakfast here for years in Cypress. The staff does a great job turning the table around so the wait isn’t so long. Dishes are fantastic. This morning I ordered the Irish Benedict. Never disappoints. If you are looking for a go-to place to eat breakfast or lunch try this place out. Also, dog friendly with the patio seating. See you next time! -Mr. Cypress
My girlfriend & I stumbled upon Kimmie's for a late breakfast and, man, am I glad I did! The staff is friendly, the vibes are chill, and the breakfast? Oh. My God!! The cinnamon French toast is SO good, it'll make you wanna sing (don't, though, you'll scare the other patrons). I missed the breakfast rush, but my coffee cup was empty more often than l'd like. The country benedict was a pepper sausage party in my mouth, and I'm here for it! The coffee's not strong enough to knock me off my feet, but I'll be back to try more of the menu...
Hey there, so I brought my friend of Texas here. I've been coming here for over 7 years now. I come from Santa ana and I drive all the way out here for this place at time to time. It's delicious food. You just have to wait and try. Now many people here complain about waiting. But you are waiting long because this place gets full quick. If you don't want to wait, don't come here and complain. Waiting is what makes this place worth it. It's small and not many workers but they work and they handle business. Wait time for seating varies from 15min to 1hr. Food prep and arrival to table can vary from 30 to 1hr. So yes waiting is going to happen. As you wait, look around you. See how many customers come in and out vs the workers and few chefs. They get down. Bring a movie, a book, or something to pass time when you come. It's a breakfast brunch place, turnover is huge in the amount of time their open.
I came here with a friend last week and it was my first time. We ordered eggs benedic and "your kind of omelet" which you build/custom yourself. I liked this place. The food were good. The prices were not too bad. The staffs were friendly too. The food came out not that long. Overall, definitely worth trying.
My favorite breakfast spot when I visit my sister! Unfortunately my sister is moving so I will definitely miss this restaurant. However, I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting or lives in this area!
Clean and excellent services. Nice place for brunches with family and friends 🧡
Oc Scrambler was so good...think I found my new favorite choice. Went sunday for cars and coffee Only 2 of us showed, but we're OK with it,cause we love to eat here. Will try again next month
I love coming to this Kimmie's and rhe one in Orange as well. In my opinion, they make the BEST eggs benedict. I absolutely love it and get it everytime I go here. The staff is always very friendly and service is relatively quick. Sometimes it's a little slow, but to be fair, this place gets sooo busy. The food is amazing and fairly priced.
Enjoyed my Sunday Brunch while on Vacation. The Food the service and relaxed layed back atmosphere was awesome. You get your money's worth dishes are very generous.
Best casual, like home diner EVER! Ordered basic egg and sausage breakfast and a sandwhich to-go. Service and food could not be better! And the decor is super cut, bright and airy ranch style with beautiful accents and every nook & cranny neat and clean.
This is an awesome local.spot. The staff is so courteous, and kind and attentive. The food is amazing and fresh. This was my mother and I first time coming here, and we definitely will be back. Thank you guys
Banana pecan are inside the pancakes not just a topping. The Biscuits and gravy are delicious. They have fruit as a substitute for hash browns if you are trying to be healthy. Great small dinners that has a cottage house vibe. Can get crowded during peak hours. Can be a bit pricier than your franchises diners but it's well worth it.
been coming for years. great place. staff is friendly. food is good.
I called my order in and it was ready within 15 minutes. Bacon Breakfast burrito. It was good size. Good flavor. The staff was friendly. It was the perfect take out scenario.
The servers are so sweet and friendly and pretty. We usually have a regular breakfast spot we eat at all the time, for years actually. Buy now, this will be our usual spot. The food portions and quality are on point.
Very nice and clean place!! The waitress it was excellent and very patient 👌 especially because it was my first time!! The food is delicious and affordable prices!! Definitely we're come back!! Affordable prices too!!
The food was very good. The country gravy is made from scratch. Even the sausage is also. The employees were very attentive to my needs as well as my friend. GREAT FOOD AMD THE PEOPLE WERE AWESOME!!! Thank yoi
YUMMMMMERS! 😋 First timer. Had Chicken Fried Steak plate & Pumpkin pancakes. Very good! Great service, quality & price. I'll definitely go back! 😀
Top-notch food and service. They offered pastrami as an option for build your own omelette! Highly recommend!
Delicious food! Our server was really nice and attentive
Irish Eggs Benedict was delicious. Quantity for peice was also perfect. One of the few places open early (i came in at around 6:30am). Definitely would bring someone here for breakfast.
We have eaten here a few times now and the cinnamon roll French toast is to die for. Also the Eggs Benedict is my personal favorite. Go early as they get very busy after 9AM.
Never dissatisfied here! Everything I've had has been great! Service is great as well. Biscuits and gravy are my favorite as well as the cinnamon roll pancakes. Give them a try, u won't b disappointed. Stay hungry my peeps!
The coffee is delicious, the french toast are very good, I recommend
Had a late breakfast with a friend and I had the Cinnamon French toast with hash browns and bacon. She had scrambled eggs with hash browns. It was delicious! Service was fast and great! They have a nice outside area and the inside was half full and clean. Parking is plenty. Cute little breakfast Cafe right in the community.
First time coming here. The food was good. The employees were friendly. Nice place to have brunch with family
I devoured my food so fast I forgot to take a photo!!! I ordered to-go and took it back to my hotel. Really good stuff! Eggs cooked exactly how you ask for them, and the pancakes are super fluffy. Service was fast and friendly, and they now offer dining room seating.
The place to be for breakfast! Service is very fast and friendly, with food to match. Prepare to weight a bit as they are always busy. Portions are big and filling with some of the best coffee served in a big mug. Family friendly, so bring the kid's. Also, Pet friendly on the patio.
Excellent breakfasts. Especially enjoyed the fresh fruit side order. Coffee is above average for any coffee shop. Friendly and attentive waitresses. Can be busy at times. But worth the wait. Nice atmosphere. Clean and colorful. They close it 1:50pm each day. So, don't doddle getting there!
Nice staff, good food, pet friendly patio Just right for me and furry companion
Food is always good here. The Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll pancakes were incredible. Their homemade sausage is so good with a little bit of spicy. Service is always quick and friendly.
First time customer! Absolutely fantastic! When are you going to start serving Dinner?
So, i lived near Cypress for years. I have driven by this place so many times and never thought to stop by until recently. This place is great. Awesome staff. Awesome food. Their pancakes are one of the best I've had. Great selection for those who have dietary restrictions. Over all very happy i stopped by. Will continue to have bfast here. Thanks guys!
Kimmie's coffee cup is an amazing breakfast and lunch spot, especially the location here in The Cypress Center. The service is amazing and everyone is very friendly. I was able to witness not only amazing service but enjoyable company from those around me. Skimming through the menu I saw some appetizing spreads. The sandwiches have your own choice in breads which I thought was great. There a cute and enjoyable miniature patio outside which allowed one to enjoy the breeze. They have great servings of coffee and needless to say ice tea. Overall it is an amazing friendly and welcoming place to enjoy breakfast and lunch with friends and family.
One of my favorite places to go! Kind and welcoming employees. The food is AMAZING! Their Bread Pudding French Toast is outstanding... My mouth is watering just thinking about it! It's a must try... It's topped with berries and yummy goodness! 🥴😋
We just love this place. The food is always so good and many of the dishes are unique to them.
The breakfast experience here is a genuine delight. The service was attentive and prompt, creating a pleasant and stress-free dining experience. The food is a revelation - the omelettes were filled with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The ambiance is a perfect mix of vintage and modern, with soothing colors and a sunlit interior. An oasis for breakfast lovers!
We love visiting local spots on the occasion we have time to do it. We have both driven past Kimmie's many times, even enjoying other shops in that center and often thought we should stop and check this cute little place out. Today was the day! Nice comfortable patio(we brought our beloved 4 legged family member 🐶), inside looked lovely too. Everyone who served us was so nice and didn't forget us outside. I had a delicious avocado on holiday dish, and there were several egg benedict options, my friend had a traditional eggs and sausage meat with "perfect" hashbrowns and my country potatoes were very good too. We will be back, and we will bring visiting family too.
I had a to go order of the scrambler and it was delicious. I was also quite surprised that the food was still quite hot when I got home and that is a huge bonus! I just walked in and ordered and even though they were busy, they were very happy to accommodate me and give me my food pretty darned fast. I'm ordering more today. 🙂
Bien
Walked in and was told to sit where I wanted. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because of the wait from when I sat down to actually getting my order taken. Other than that the food was flavorful and the staff were very friendly. This place gets packed so be prepared to come early and wait. I ordered the scrambler which has 3 eggs, red skin potatoes, bell peppers, onions, cheese, and I ordered it with sausage (you have a choice or sausage or bacon).
Okay. I haven't been here in a while. Every time I've wanted to have breakfast it would be so busy. It says something about this place. Locals return to their favorites. Well today 6.17.22, I've made my way to the front counter with the friendly staff welcoming this foodie adventure r. Savory and sweet were my targeted dish. I asked my server which pancakes or French toast was her favorite and she said the cinnamon roll French toast. And so it is. Lightly battered French toast rolls. And of course some protein on the side. Truely a delicious combination. If they continue this way of preparing their dishes, they will continue to have a long run in this business. So drop on in if you can. Support small businesses because they support the community. If you like this review, please click the like button. Thanks and have a good day!
Tried this yelp recommendation at it was very good. Also very italian from waiters to chefs. That being said RESERVATIONS - a must as the place is on the small side in terms of tables. We came early 4:00 on Saturday but within an hour folks were streaming in. ENTRANCE- after you enter the door there is a tapestry type curtain to deal with. However it is needed on a cold day to keep frigid air from entering when patrons stepped in.
Always a great food experience nice menue choices. One of my local favorites for those Saturday or Sunday breakfast run. Cinnamon Creamchees French toast and Swirl pancakes are always so big I need a to go box to eat left over very good mouth watering porting sizes and taste. Well worth the drive
So let me start by saying, again we never would've visited this place if a friend of my mom's, actually the same one who invited us to our DELICIOUS IHOP breakfast, hadn't (again) invited us. So how do I begin... the food was delicious. I had the Breakfast burrito with hot chocolate and chocolate pancakes, while my mother shared the butter pecan pancakes and the Veggie Scrambler with her friend. It was very good. The only thing was we had kind of a wait to get our seats and the waiting, basically the service could've been better. But overall, the food was very good, and I would recommend Kimmie's Coffee Cup to you. Thanks, Kimmie's Coffee Cup, for the food
We have dined at Kimmie's Fullerton and Cypress locations many times over the years. This review is for Cypress. The food is very good, but my wife's wrap was on the bland side. My Cobb salad was excellent. We shared one of their cinnamon roll pancakes tht was amazing. Our server was perfect. The only reason I took one star away is because even with just a few tables occupied it was noisy. I think all the hard surfaces in the place tend to bounce sounds all over the room.
Great place for breakfast. Many choices on the menu. Had some good corn beef hash and excellent fruit. The servers all have excellent customer oriented attitudes and are very personable. Very positive restaurant.
I've been to 4 out of 5 Kimmie's , they are a local style breakfast ,lunch restaurant with friendly faces ,better than average service and most of all great dishes . It's just a Mom and Pop place that is always consistent all the way around , Everytime I've been there , your not going to be disappointed this is a solid 4 star , guarantee.
I had the Tuna Melt on Sour Dough which came with fries. While the sandwich was indeed exceptional, the steak fries were not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, it's clear that they were fresh; I just prefer more seasoning than a light "salting". The service was fast, responsive, and friendly. All in all, I had a great experience. Oh, important detail for parents of young children: our server was so considerate as to put a rush on my boys' plates. The stir-crazy little guys were almost as appreciative of the fast service as this dad was.
We usually order the bread pudding French Toast (which is quite good) to go so I do not have experience with the service. They have both interior and outdoor seating but their prices are higher than most.
Great breakfast place. Their sausage is scratch made and really good. Just enough spice! My favorite thing to get is the sausage and egg sandwich. I usually spilt this with my husband. It's really plenty for two. The pancakes are very fluffy with a slight chew. I've had their burgers there too and it is also very good. Only open for breakfast and lunch so get there early!
Sometimes it's hit or miss here, but today went well. Waited for a table, even though there were several empty tables. The typical busy crowd. Our server was friendly and efficient. Food came out in a reasonable time and was fresh and hot. Nice ambiance and clean. Glad we can get a late breakfast here.
Weekends are too busy for this place, and you can tell servers are overwhelmed by the people waiting and how busy they are. Food portions are huge and taste like any other breakfast place.
The place is very cute and clean. The service was good. I had the roast beef sandwich which included ortega chili on Parmigiano sour dough, with onion rings.. The meat and bread were good; however, I would have liked more Ortega chilies. I did not care for the onion rings. While they were edible, I would not order them again. The cafe was pleasanr, and I will go back to try their various eggs Benedicts, which looked delicious.
I've been several times and the staff can be hot or cold, depending on the day, but never rude. Some days, staff just seem overtly happy and at other times, just cordial. The food is good but could improve by adding more healthy items on the menu. I love the patio, although it's literally in the middle of a parking lot. All in all, this is a wonderful place for brunch on the weekends.
Good place for some breakfast amd good old ame4ican breakfast. My favorite is the tuna melt. This place is always busy, full of senior citizens. Th3 waitress are always friendly and good witj service. Food always comes out at a good pace. We dine here once a week.
Un café delicioso
A bit confusing to get service. They may need 1 or 2 more service staff to help. It can be slowed due to lack of workers. Atmosphere was amazing, it feels cozy and homey. Food was ok, I felt it needed a bit more for the buck. The sausage links were good, eggs made to perfection. My redskin potatoes were delicious, specially hence adding green bell pepper and onions to it. My partners concern was the biscuit, it was a bit small and only got 1, which made the ration from biscuit to gravy excessive. Overall, I would recommend to try as a new breakfast outing. Our total bill was $49.
It was too expensive and they did not offer a Senior Discount...we paid over 50 Dollars for breakfast...way too much...sad how everything is just going up....Service was good...Food was okay...
May 2015, my first time at a Kimmie's Wait Staff switched my order. I ordered the Classic Breakfast, 2 eggs, my choice of bacon or link sausage, toast and choice of potatoes or fruit. I took the fruit and asked about sausage patty which wait staff said I could have. Unfortunately when I got the bill my breakfast was 'switched' to Country Style Patty with 2 eggs. I was not informed that the sausage patty would be another 'breakfast' and more expensive or that there was an 'upcharge'. I asked about this, one wait staff explained and said they would take care of the 'upcharge'. But when I was presented with the bill again by my waitstaff, I was told 'rudely' that I when I asked about the 'sausage' she changed my breakfast order. As she was not nice, I paid the bill but will not be back to this Kimmies. P.S The eggs were good, the fruit was excellent as was the sausage.
$$$$ Every plate is $18+. Food was good but incredibly expensive, especially since it took maybe 8 min from order to table. It's just not worth it. Sorry, you're WAY overpriced for breakfast. Coffee refills were hard to get as our waitress never stopped back by.
The service is generally friendly enough, but they don't seem to keep good track of who is in charge of which table. We sat down and waited for quite some time before getting menus. Like most breakfast places, the prices right now are beyond what I think are reasonable, but that is the case for most restaurants. Overall, it was a fine breakfast.
We stopped by for lunch on a whim as we were in the area. The food was great. The service was not. No hellos, no goodbyes or thanks for coming. It seemed disorganized as there appeared to be several people working but it was like no one knew who was covering our table. No refills were offered, no one asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. I don't know, I was just disappointed. It gave the feel of a fast food place rather than a sit down restaurant.
First time. Food okay with generous portions.. Atmosphere nice but got busy and noisy as it was MLK holiday. Waitress was very good and friendly. Only one real drawback was a long hair was in one of the main dishes. Waitress was very apologetic and took 50% off of that plate (chicken fried steak). Not sure if we would return. Maybe would try lunch.
Food was pretty good, about 28 bucks a person including tip and drink. However service was terrible, only refill i got is when they brought my check. Waitress was one booth over and I called her twice pretty loud the second time. Never came by. Had someone else bring the check. It was genuinely like she was trying her hardest to avoid worth considering 90% of the time she was just talking to her coworkers. Most people there seemed very friendly, she might have just had a bad day or was the one bad waitress. Either way though I've never seen service so bad.
Muy limitado ,la comida no muy buena, precios altos y poco recomendable, lo siento.
The food was fine once it was cooked but the service was terrible. It was hard to get anyone's attention throughout the whole meal. My first California Eggs Benedict came out with clear, very raw eggs. They redid mine after gruffly asking if I wanted it to be remade without any apologies. When they dropped off my new plate it made us realize that my partners didn't even have the turkey on it as written on their menu. It was impossible to flag someone down to tell them while we sat there with empty coffee cups. When we finally pointed it out they just said they'd tell the kitchen. I get being understaffed on a busy weekend...tables around us were getting up to find to go boxes and trying to hunt down servers to pay the bill...but even when they dropped off our bill they made no mention of completely messing up our order or any apologies. When we asked if they could do anything about it she said well we already took $2 off because we just served you a different dish. Just a frustrating experience all around. Please staff more people, especially on busy shifts. This is not a place we plan to come back to.
Our booth smelled really bad. It smelled like they wiped down the table with a dirty rag, and the smell never went away. The service was not very good. I dont think they ever refilled our drinks once, and when they first brought out the drinks one of the drinks had a dirty glass.
I came here with my daughter for the 1st time between December 2015-January 2016 because she lives and still lives close by. This year, Nov/Dec.2017, 3rd time I came for breakfast. On all occasions, (including that of 2015/2016), I noticed a judgmental and unfair treatment towards someone like me. During all times I have dined here, I have seen Caucasian female servers ONLY. I kept on coming to prove my theory wrong (that servers are RACISTS). I really gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Each time I came, I was hoping to be treated the same way all servers treat their Caucasian customers. I was completely disappointed. Today, Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, close to 9:00 a.m., I walked in to get a table, I signaled to a server name Betsy M. that I wanted to sit anywhere I liked. She ushered me to the table SHE LIKED for me to sit. I kept mum about it and not made a big deal. After a few minutes, I noticed that when a Caucasian male customer walked in, Betsy "allowed" him to sit anywhere he preferred to sit, same section where I showed Betsy earlier where I preferred to sit. On 2 occasions I had breakfast at Kimmie's, (Betsy served me on both occasions) she was never friendly nor attentive and never once came back and refilled my coffee and never asked me if I had everything I needed, on these BOTH TIMES she waited on me. I had to call another server who was equally UNFRIENDLY. I have travelled quite a bit and a gourmet diner myself. I am a U.S. Citizen that has been all over Asia and other parts of the world. I do not look for a beautifully decorated restaurant but what I look for are: Friendly, Smiling Servers and the Quality of the food a restaurant serves, and most of all, a restaurant that is "blind to the color of ones skin". Reasonable Price counts but not an issue to me. They say do not judge the book by its cover. Betsy M. and the other Caucasian servers on duty on this date only made a 360 degree turn and gave me proper service and BECAME ALL SMILES AND FRIENDLY TO ME after I told one of the servers that I was doing a review of the restaurant. For all you know, owner/s of Kimmie's Restaurant CYPRESS, California, I could be a food blogger, a food critic for a famous food and restaurant magazine, or just a simple wealthy ASIAN WOMAN (with HISPANIC LOOKS) in disguise. Bottomline, we should not JUDGE ANY BOOK BY ITS COVER.
Interior ventilation needs improvement, felt stuffy. Waitress was friendlier to their regular customers. Food wasn't unique, compared to Dennis or IHOP.
Attracted by the cozy decor and classic atmosphere. Decent food overshadowed by slow inattentive service with a bad attitude. Waited in the lobby for over almost ten minutes before being acknowledged. Another 15 minutes to have our order taken and nearly 25 more to get our good. Less than 10 minutes into eating we were given a box and our check. Definitely disappointing despite a solid country Benedict, good diner coffee and decent corned beef hash.
I would give the food a 5 star rating due to it always being consistently delicious. The customer service is not good. I always give a place the benefit of the doubt. The last time we went, they took a while to seat us and it was only 3 of us. There was a lot of empty tables. They took a long time to bring us coffee, take our order and check in with us. Today I went in and it was just two of us. I listed my name on the list and the party after me got seated before us and it was 3 of them. I brought it up to one of the girls, she didn’t apologize instead she said ok I’ll seat you. I said it was fine I appreciated her sitting us but come on, where is your customer service. We sat down and they once again, took a while to take in our food order, and bring us the creamer we had asked for. Our waiter did not return after she took our order. It’s unfortunate that we will need to find another place to have breakfast because of the customer service.
The sausage gravy was flavorless and didn't have any sausage in it. Hash browns were cold and under cooked. I'm new to the area and was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately I won't return.
The service here sucks. Only one person here is nice and that's the young petite blonde. We come here when we are in the area but the last two services all we had were mean servers. We won't be coming back here.
I went this past Sunday, February 26, 2022, worst service ever! We sat outside because the weather was beautiful. We sat for 10min before we got someone to come to our table. I told the waitress that other guests that were behind us and sat inside had been served their drinks and we had not yet. She tells me that they have been busy and that she was sorry (her response is with an attitude). However, I was able to see that they were just fine with guests and waitress. We left and will never go back to the cypress location.
I've heard so many nice things about this place. Unfortunately, this has been the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant, EVER. I even mentioned that it was our first visit. Service was terrible. Not once did the waitress come over to ask how things were or anything. The girl that brought the bill was rude to another patron that was only asking for a menu. Maybe they were all having a bad day? Would not recommend 😔
First time eating there, last time eating there. I ordered my food and instead of getting a well done piece of meat I got a dry burnt piece of meat that I was shocked they even served it like that. Then my husband got a hair in his eggs. Honestly it was a bad experience and really bad food.
I didnt have the opportunity to try their food. There was 5 girls in the kitchen. Only one was taking orders. 3 of them were prepping for their next business day because they do close at 2 so I dont see why you need 3 people on food prep. And there was one girl just flirting with some guy from the back of the house. Awful service. I just walked out after 10 minutes of not being assisted.
DON'T GO THERE Poor service - 0ver 30 monute wait for food. Poor food - raw potatoes. Extremely poor management - the server who took our order was the acting manager who did not turn our order in. She did give us half off my order but no apologies. It used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Not anymore.
We went there for lunch today.. We actually ended up walking out.. I have a six-year-old special needs son.. They want $8.25 for a 1/2 of a grilled cheese sandwich..HALF.. $8.25 for a whole grilled cheese sandwich is ridiculous little lone $8.25 for a 1/2 of a sandwich?? The server told me, well it's on white bread!!! I shop at the business center Costco... A loaf of white bread that restaurants use is $2.35.. I told her my little boy yes special needs and the only thing he will eat is a grilled cheese sandwich not the French fries and definitely never a soda... She said, well I don't make the prices! Good bye have a good day..
With our menus closed, we waited ten minutes for Emily to place our order. She passed us and took the order of the patrons behind us. Even though we were seated long before them. After I commented, she proceeded to take ours. We waited another 30 minutes for our food, as we observed another couple arrive, sit down and receive their meal ahead of us, as well as the customers who came after and sat behind us. Emily, our server, said they received their lunch before because she took their orders first. This was not the case, I watched them being seated several minutes after we placed our order. Food is great, service was not.
I’ve been coming here for years but more recently it’s not worth the value. The prices have gotten ridiculous for the amount and quality of the food. $20 for 2 small pieces of bacon, barley any eggs and blueberry pancakes that have a couple blueberries inside is a major rip off. I understand inflation but these aren’t organic pasture raised eggs they’re serving. I also noticed a $1 charge for using my credit card. It’s unnecessary price gouging. Some of the staff is really friendly and some have a chip on their shoulder. To pay $50 for 2 pancake breakfasts is ridiculous.
For me, it looks like the servers were not happy doing their job and not graceful providing service. I’ve ordered the egg Benedict and I’m sorry to say it had no flavor. My wife ordered chorizo and eggs, the rice was very hard, almost broke my teeth. It felt like the rice was instant boxed rice. We are not going back, first and last time.
Went for the 1st time around 11 this morning 8/16 with my family. Sat down on the outside patio and waited a bit to be greeted. No one came so my sister went inside and asked for a menu. We waited a bit until both servers came out, one with silverware and the other just asked if we wanted anything to drink rudely. I was a little surprised because neither apologized for the wait but the person who took our order Emily was super rude. I hate to say that I felt discriminated because I'm latina. Obviously, I tried to brush it off because we went in to spend time with family. Only once Emily came to check on us and that's because we put our French Toast and Waffle on hold. I don't understand why they work as servers if they don't like to take care of guests. I guess they still don't understand that servers get tips because of their customer service. I'm going to take my hard earned money where it's appreciated. The only person who was sweet and helpful was Naomi . Owners or management have to remind staff that no guests means no paycheck!
Service was Horrible No one knows What they are Doing. Bad for Buisness first time there we had to leave No one was Helping us 👎🏽 they were being Lazy No one was Cleaning Tables
