First time there! The brisket enchiladas were great! The Combo Plate was a good option to try everything and was delicious!!! Loved the complimentary charro bean soup! Will definitely go again!

I had dinner on a Wednesday night. The service was fast and friendly. The Tacos Al Carbon were tender and tasty. The sopapillas were also very good. I highly recommend this family-owned neighborhood jewel of a restaurant.

We are treated like family here. The food and drinks are always great and the service is even better. There’s a reason it’s been there for so long.

My husband and I have been eating here for years, the food and margaritas have always been great. We like the complimentary chips, salsa and bowl of charro beans. We are always welcomed with a smile. Service is excellent, the staff is very friendly. Its like eating with family. Moderate prices, nice, clean atmosphere. I have one negative comment; we recently tried the menudo for the first time. I'm sad to say, it was not good. When we were served the first thing we noticed was the smell. I feel the tripe was not cleaned properly. There were pieces of fat from the meat floating on top, my bowl contained bones, cartilage, lots of fat attached to the meat. When mom makes menudo, she cleans it thoroughly and removes fat of the meat. I tried my best to stomach it. I didn't want to be rude. I removed most of the meat from my bowl. My husband was hungry, so he ate his bowl and some of mine. I asked for breakfast tacos unfortunately they don't serve any. We were very disappointed with our meal. I left hungry. 3 hours later my husband got sick. Thats the only complaint. I'm hoping it was just bad batch and that the menudo is properly cleaned.

This is exactly what you are looking for in a “hole-in-the-wall” Mexican restaurant. Food is INCREDIBLE. Salsa and bean soup that comes out right when you are seated is delicious. The bean soup is the best I’ve ever had. Their tamales are my FAV! Such friendly service and a welcoming environment too, you feel like a family anytime you eat here.

Casa Navarro is Old School gotta have it Dallas dining. The staff were lovely toward this gringo and I had the best mole I have had in years. Not pretentious, just great folks, a warm environment and GREAT FOOD and equally great service. Do yourself a favor and check it out or come back if you’ve been away.

Incredible Tex-Mex food. The salsa is amazing. I could put it on anything. I would drink it. The tacos were super crispy and the ground beef filling was tasty. The queso flameado was really good. Their flour tortillas are out of this world. The little ground beef burrito was just what I was looking for. The red sauce on top was excellent. I would come back to this place over and over and would highly recommend for anyone looking for Tex-Mex.

If you want real good and authentic Mexican look no further. This place is straight family recipes served at good prices. The sour cream enchilada are such comfort food and the salsa tastes fresh and homemade. The bean soup they give you before your meal is incredible too! 3 Catholic priests were here eating too - so you know it’s good!

Came here for a margarita fix. I got more than I bargained for… the margarita was sweet, sour, strong (all 3 s’!). I always try to support mom/pop establishments. This really did amazing in all counts. The service was quick. Courteous. The waiter was knowledgeable of what I wanted as a meal and was able to deliver the exact choice I wanted. I was very satisfied. Thank you.

Food is always fresh, hot, and delicious!! I had the Migas this morning, delicious. My wife had the Jose plate and the enchiladas melt in your mouth. We love this place when we are in the area.

Came in for a nice Sunday breakfast. They didn’t have breakfast tacos so I went with the chicken fajita omelette. Delicioso. Will be back for dinner I bet they have an amazing spread. Menu was big.

Man! After a day like today I needed a hug and I got one — a great big bear hug of comforting, delicious Tex-Mex! In an unassuming strip mall, Casa Navarro is doing a bustling dinner time service mid-week. Like stepping back into my youth of local TexMex haunts, this place isn’t fancy and doesn’t aspire to be. They are all about traditional food done well. The floor staff are whirling dervishes taking care of business from all sides with a snails and sense of humor, never rushed, always attentive. What a blessing to have a place like this in the neighborhood!

This place was so good they wrecked Mexican for us - we will never be able to eat it again without compairing to Casa Navarro. The dishes and prices are very reasonable, they have a great selection of drinks and margarita happy hour. We got the burrito and fajitas. Everything was so fresh, and the bean soup and nachoes was a huge bonus! Love you guys, can't wait to come back to Dallas too visit you again!

This little gem is delicious!! Small but great food!! We ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. The tortillas are delicious!! We also love the spicy salsa and HUGE margaritas!! The only thing I would not order again - the beef queso, which appeared to be just can cheese sauce (no favor, no peppers/onions, just plain).

Great lunch spot, hole-in-the-wall. Love the friendly energy here and even saw a Catholic priest. The food is perfect Tex-Mex for an amazing price. The salsa is spicy and plentiful. I loved the complimentary bean soup too.

Great local establishment. Ordered Bryans burrito. Make sure to order with the ranchers sauce, perfect spice level. The wait staff was very attentive and gave off a very honey feel. You can tell quite a few locals come here often which is always a good sign.

Is it only me everything was so blend and mild? Server was nice but just the food… we got a strong recommendation for this place so we came to try and it was not so great.. wanted to love! Might come back once again to give another try tho.

Overall, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. The best part of the meal is the beans and salsa you get when first being seated. The chicken on the salad was a bit rubbery and tasted more like chicken thighs than chicken breast, but it may have just been previously frozen. I would give it another shot in the future.
