Catina Laredo Dallas Reviews
Great experience at Cantina Laredo! Friendly, quick service with comfortable seating and a warm ambiance. They also replaced the chips and salsa frequently. The food was amazing - loved the live, fresh-prepared Top Shelf guacamole. The Pollo Asado taco is a must-try; the mango-pineapple pico de gallo really makes it stand out. We also tried the Camarón Poblano Asada entrée, which was very good. One of the best spots for authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend!
They hosted my wedding dinner and the staff was amazing, accommodating and thoughtful. Food was amazing as always. Just an overall great experience.
Cantina Laredo in Addison the food was very good. The fish tacos were wonderful and my friend got the enchiladas. Said they were excellent. They have great chips and their salsa is excellent. My friend and I went on Monday about 5:30 PM. The only issue was we didn’t see our server very often and we had to get someone’s attention to get drink refills, and our bill. There were only about seven tables with guest as it was so early in the evening.
We visited this location today 1/3/2026. Staff amazing and very friendly, Atmosphere Great, Food Super Good ( we had the Queso Lardo dip, Grilled Chicken, rice refried beans, taco and enchiladas. Left super full and statifed. Special Thanks to Super Great Host Fernando. He was awesome made us laugh, explained the menu in great detail, check on, filled the drinks. He didn't miss a bet. 10stars to Fernando 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I ordered take out at the Catina Laredo but had walked 20 minutes and asked if I could stay to eat it. The staff was so accommodating. They brought fresh chips and salsa and offered to move my food to a plate. The food was delicious. I had the vegetarian enchiladas and they were unique and better than any others I had had. I would highly recommend.
Love the Cantina. The Carne Asada is incredible. Not like any other. The warm salsa is unique also. Make sure you try both. Oh, and what about the table side made guacamole. From Dallas (home) to Jacksonville Florida (home on the working road) I introduced many others to those treats and all agreed they were the best. Hmm, writing this is making me hungry and bringing back many fun and romantic lunches and dinners. Guess I better go this week. See at the Cantina.
Great place to eat. First time here and friendly atmosphere everything was fantastic. This is the desert. Patrick the general manger was great out there meeting people and Lorena was the host that waited on us was fantastic. Been foing there lately and the service has gone down hill. They don't have budwieser beer and the wait staff isn't friendly. Today I only went with 2 people but there was going to be about 8 people going meet us there but all they drink is budwieser so they lost a table of 10 people.
Just swung by after my doctor's appointment... had the most incredible meal and the service was absolutely fantastic... Chips and salsa are to die for and for our main course we shared the combo fajitas and the manager generously surprised us with a dessert... Mango tres leches cake... so yummy. If you happen to be in Addison, you definitely need to visit this place and ask for YERI, she's an amazing server.
I struggle to find good Tex/mex food but dang this place was phenomenal! And wow the service… exceptional!!! I’ve had such a bad week of going out to local places and stores and having the worse service but man this place… everyone was so kind and attentive. And the food was great and flavorful!I literally just asked our server, Henry to choose something for my wife and I and he made a great choice- the braised pork and carne a Sasha with chimichurri sauce (see pics). Henry was literally the best server ever seen! Geez give this man a raise! The manager, Patrick greeted us also and was so kind and attentive. The staff in general were awesome. Even other servers periodically checked on us. The vibe, the atmosphere, the service was definitely exceptional. DEFINITELY a great choice for a date! I will be bringing my family someday soon.
I just wanted to thank you Patrick & Stephani for your exceptional service today. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and professionalism made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We appreciate the care you took in making sure everything was just right, and your positive attitude really added to the overall atmosphere of our meal
A Fiesta for the Taste Buds at Cantina Laredo, Dallas I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cantina Laredo in Dallas, Texas, and it was undoubtedly an exceptional experience. The restaurant not only boasts the best Mexican food in the area but also delivers a dining atmosphere that is truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant decor and lively ambiance set the stage for a Mexican culinary adventure. The menu at Cantina Laredo features a delightful array of dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful enchiladas, every bite was a celebration of Mexican cuisine. What truly elevated the dining experience was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Jay. His enthusiasm and passion for the menu were evident as he guided us through the options, offering insightful recommendations. Jay's charismatic personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, making the overall experience not just about the food but also about the joy of dining. The attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the attentiveness of the staff, particularly Jay, made this visit stand out. Cantina Laredo, coupled with Jay's exceptional service, created a memorable dining experience that I will cherish. If you're in Dallas and craving the best Mexican food with a side of fun, Cantina Laredo is the place to be.
Our server Jay was amazing. He was patient and explained my options being a vegan. He even suggested things from the menu that were amazing. Food, service, and drink was top notch. On another note I saw exceptional team work throughout the restaurant from the manager to servers to the chef. Will definitely be back.
Decided to try a different Spanish spot for a late lunch. There was no one in the restaurant and I was skeptical at first. Our waitress Diana was really nice and bought out the chips and salsa. I did not even have to ask for the taste plates because they were already on the table. I’ve never had dark colored salsa before but it was so good. The fajitas came out sizzling and you could see the smoke. The pork bowl was hot and fresh with so many different flavors. To top it off the dessert was superb that apple pie came sizzling. I wish I could give them 10 stars.
Came with my coworker for a late lunch/early dinner and the food was spot on! The customer service was amazing and our waiter was attentive. I ordered the tacos - 2 chicken, 1 steak - and while I enjoyed it the steak was a bit chewy. The guacamole was fresh and made at the table but next time I will leave the pickled jalapeño out. The salsa was bomb and even took some home to eat later. Overall, this is a decent spot and I’ll be back to try their drinks and other items!
Just your regular, solid Mexican spot. The real highlight was the queso ... I think it's the best I've ever ordered! Prices seem normal-reasonable. The menu has the classic and some fun slightly different options! Typical, casual atmosphere. It was strangely slow service for a Sunday night that wasn't crowded, but the service was very friendly! I will say my tacos seemed a bit cold. However, the corn tortillas were great. Usually I don't even like corn tortillas.
Really disappointed I didn't like the food nothing there that I had at all. Elote nothing to brag about at all for the extra $$$ not worth it instead of black beans the only kind of beans the have. Salsa was absolutely horrible hella big chunks in it. Chips themselve were actually pretty good best thing I had there. Drinks were horrible and just know they were a lotta $ not worth it. Margaritas very limey couldn't taste no liquor at all and what I ordered had Grand Marnier it yet. That's really a shame. Ordered 2 and cuz thought she would do better on that no. I told her I don't taste any liquor it this at all. Ordered carna sada tacos tiny little street corn ones. Everything is so overpriced. Had my meal baby tacos and chips and 2 limey bland Drinks cost65$ what a rip off!!!! save ur $ sooo not impressed for my 1st and last time!!!!
Cantina Laredo has great service and the restaraunt is very warm and welcoming. However, the food is very below average. Very Americanized (use of basic cheddar cheese and basic meats) with a complete lack of flavor and quality.
