Very nice inside tall ceiling, warm atmosphere upscale. Food is good people are very nice. I like the booth very comfortable. Mexican comfort food. Cant wait to try breakfast with a free coffee. Or lunch specials 12.5, fajitas looked awesome with a sizzle.Lot of parking very safe. Thank you all.
Great food and great service. The lunch fajitas were excellent!
Excellent food! The food is authentic and I highly recommend the mole or asado de puerco, it has a unique flavor and taste like the ones in North Mexico. The staff is very friendly and fast, and are very receptive to their clients. No BS just great food and you get what you pay for! Highly recommend
Don’t skip out on this place. Amazing authentic Mexican food with a minor hint of Tex mex for some of the meals. Still hits everytime I go. More so I went during the winter storm, a nice hot meal made everything so much better and well worth my 25 min walk due to the icy conditions. The service is so welcoming! I highly recommend going for breakfast . Free coffee and chips is hard to beat!
My SO and I went here for my birthday, and we had the best time out at a restaurant. The place is small so it wasn’t too loud. It was well lit and the atmosphere is really chill. Our server was very nice and checked in on us really well. And the food is Amazing! The proprietor came and talked to us for a while while we waited for our food. All the stuff is made in house and it shows. The molé sauce is fantastic. And the salsa that comes with the chips is immaculate. We’re planning on coming back for Valentine’s Day.
Food was great. Great taste and quickly prepared. Customer service was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. Clean and welcoming environment. Pricing is reasonable. Will definitely visit again!
Emilio’s Mexican Kitchen was AMAZING!!! I just moved here from Michigan and was looking for something similar to wht I can get from back home and they did not disappoint!! The food, service, and prices were great! I had the tostadas combo the chips and house salsa, the queso with meat dip and Margaritas.. I definitely will be back or can I say I’ll be a regular here lol. If u in Texas and want a good authentic Mexican meal check them out!
Hi i am Chris from New York City. So youbknow i come from a city where food is all that! So on a whim, we came over here to this restaurant. We were actually looking to go to another one. We found out this one was close by it already had a 4.6 review. We came in. We ordered almost everything on the menu and everything was very, very good. The one thing we didn't like was the house Margarita. But when we upgraded to the Cadillac Margarita, it was totally amazing. I had the corner and soda amazing. We also had the tamales, amazing. We also had tostadas amazing taco. Amazing rice and beans. Amazing Salsa was how salsa was amazing and then we ordered queso with beef, and that was totally amazing. Our server's name was cristobo. He has the same name as me. His name is Chris and he was great too. Make sure you come over here and have a great time. Enjoy yourself. Drinks are good atmosphere is great. Food is amazing!!!!
First timers. Food was so good. Service was great. We had breakfast, chorizo and eggs, and chilaquiles rojos....warning, they're very picoso (spicy). Very reasonable prices. Definitely will be back to enjoy lunch/dinner with drinks. Owner stopped by to check on us which was nice. A must try!
Best Mexican in Dallas! We love Emilio’s and come weekly. Mexican martini is the best in Dallas, tacos Al carbon is awesome and I leave with left overs for the next day. Salsa is fresh, homemade, and reminds me of growing up in Austin. Homemade mole, yummy chicken flautas, fajitas…love this place so much!
Emilio’s Mexican Restaurant never disappoints — everything from the chips and salsa to the entrées is full of authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Definitely one of my favorite spots for delicious Mexican food and great vibes! 🌮💯
We were there on a Sunday night. The tables were only about half full. It took a very long time (about 40 minutes ) to get our food, and when it arrived, it was lukewarm. I ordered a skinny margarita, which tasted as though it had been made with cough syrup. I did like the food choices, especially because they still carry mole, but I did think the prices were steep, at 2 to 3 dollars more than most Mexican restaurants. When the server finally came around to deliver our check after I requested it, she apologized and said that there were only two wait staff. But, honestly, they weren’t that busy. I don’t think we’ll ever go back. There are just too many good choices.
This is my second time going to Emilio’s. The first time the food, service, and atmosphere were really good. The food was so good that I went back today to order some take out. I sat at the bar, the bar was not busy but it took forever to get a drink. The bar tender was catering to the one side and not the other. A gentleman came in and sat a few stools over from me and the bar tender never came down. One of the hostesses came over and gave him a menu, he got up and left. I sat there for about 20-25 minutes before I flagged someone down to get me a drink. Then I had to wait another 20 mins to check out. I ordered a small queso and some shrimp tacos. My queso tasted and looked like a heated up block of velveeta…no peppers, no spice, no nothing. I was so disappointed. I really liked this spot, but will think twice before I revisit.
The atmosphere was very nice, but the service was not so good. Our server was not attentive and seemed to have an attitude towards me and my friends. At some point I left like we were being avoided. The female server on the other hand was super sweet. The food was definitely overpriced. I asked for the nachos grandes and got 11 individual chips with beans spread on them like a tostada. Top with cheese and meat. The flavor was alright but I was not expecteed this as the nachos. They gave us the wrong amount in change and we tried to look for someone to talk to but we couldn't find them. So we left a small tip and left. If you are looking for more american style mexican food than this is the place for you I guess.
