Full City Rooster Dallas Reviews
Great pour over coffee was amazing, bought two cups for myself! Great customer service, my first time i met everyone.
By far the best coffee in Dallas. Roasted in house. The baristas are incredibly kind and friendly, this is a wonderful community space full of generous and caring individuals and it’s really pretty too! My only regret is I wish they stayed open a little bit later 😉
I was getting a service done next door and noticed Full City Rooster when I got into my car. I quickly was curious about this hidden gem of a coffee shop. The reviews had me get out of my car intrigued to go inside. When I walked in I fell in love with the design and art. Then I was greeted with such warm hellos and smiles from the owner and employees. I asked for a recommended coffee and trusted them. I was not disappointed! It tastes so rich and authentic with the perfect flavor of not overwhelming sweetness nor takes away from the coffee. I believe it was the brown sugar latte. If you get the chance to stop by you won’t be disappointed. They also have a seating area in the back I’d love to come back and have a pastry next time. I lucked out and missed the pastries today. Looking forward to coming back!
Been to Full City several times. The owners are super friendly along with the staff. The place is great to hangout with friends or to chill out anytime. The coffee is great as well even though I have only had the chai tea. Thanks for the great experience!
Great staff and the coffee is phenonenal!!! As a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I highly recommend stopping by!!! Best part, is I don't have to worry about any "ice" ruining up my hot coffee!!! I will definitely be visiting again!!!
Growing up in a miners’ family, coffee is paramount; strong, dark-roasted magic that wakes your mind but your nose enjoys first. I had this same experience walking into City Roosters, the aroma hitting first, profound, rich, toasted; then, I calmly sipped on a latte with an extra shot. It was a true familiar experience, strong, deep, like hugging an old friend or remembering your favorite song. I fully recommend going to City Roosters for a proper cup of coffee and unlocking a forgotten coffee-related memory.
They did such a great job finding the best staff. It makes you feel like you want to keep visiting the place just for them. They are the sweetest and the coffee is strong and flavorful.
Knowledgeable, very friendly staff. What a pleasant experience. Exploring this local roasting studio and their incredible beans was a joy. When it comes to holiday gifting, I would not want to give anything less than the best, and I am grateful that source is right here in Dallas proper. Thank you to the duo behind the bar this morning who helped me choose beans tailored to my gifting needs. They made the process clear and easy. I also tried a freshly pulled double shot of their Guatemalan and it was excellent. This place truly feels like a community haven. So thankful it exists. Only wish it were closer to me. Cheers ☕️
Went to Full City Rooster once we wrapped up the BMW Marathon and I’m so glad we did. The store was busy and yet the staff were full of energy, I bought three bags of beans with a latte and pour over. Everything was great, the owner talked to me about some specific beans. Overall great experience, will go back!
My wife and I made our first visit to Full City Rooster yesterday afternoon, driving in from North McKinney, and the quality immediately stood out. Both lattes were exceptionally well executed: properly dialed-in espresso with excellent extraction, balanced sweetness, and no signs of astringency/bitterness. Milk was steamed to an ideal temperature with a silky, glossy microfoam that integrated perfectly with the espresso. I also picked up bags of the Guatemala and Guatemala Natural for pour-over. This morning’s latte with the Guatemala was excellent—clean cup, well-defined structure, and great balance without being overly acidic. Clearly roasted with intent and consistency. This is the level of precision and care I expect from top-tier specialty coffee. Well worth the drive, and I’ll absolutely be returning.
Not sure how I'm just leaving a review after eight years of exclusively drinking this coffee! If we want a coffee shop experience, we go to full city... if we want coffee at home, we buy beans from full city... if we want to see friends and neighbors, full city... yummy pastries, full city... want to be known by name, full city. Coffee is the best around and the people are even better. My sister travels from the other side of the country and has their chai every single day she's in town. It is the definition of a third place for my family and we couldn't love it more! Go tomorrow and I promise you'll want to go back the day after!
Full City Rooster Coffee Roasting Studio is a cozy, inviting café that specializes in high-quality, carefully roasted coffee. Their espresso drinks are smooth and well-balanced, while the pour-overs highlight the unique flavors of each bean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help you choose the perfect brew. The space is warm and comfortable, ideal for a quick coffee stop or a relaxed break. With expertly crafted coffee, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Full City Rooster Coffee Roasting Studio is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates thoughtfully prepared, flavorful coffee.
First time here and it’s now one of my favorite coffee places in DFW! The vibe is so different, so much art pieces, art books, they have chalkboards around the room. The coffee was PERFECT, not too sweet and just the perfect amount of milk. The pastries were delicious. I got a peach one to share and after the first bite I was so mad that I was gonna share it. It was love at first sight. Definitely coming back for work and just to enjoy a good cup a coffee.
Coolest coffee shop!! There is incredible art and pictures everywhere. Chalk boards and old school seating in the back. My latte with agave was amazing, and I’m usually pretty picky after working at a coffee shop. You can tell a lot of heart was put into this place. I’ll be back for sure!
My favorite weekend ritual! This place has everything I love - incredible coffee, a warm and welcoming vibe. It's perfect for hanging out, making friends, or just soaking in the creative energy. The walls are filled with beautiful local art, and there’s usually a cute dog or two hanging around (which honestly makes everything even better). The whole staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, it really feels like a place where you’re known and cared for. I come here most weekends to get my focus time in, and it never disappoints. It feels like a little community hub where inspiration and great coffee go hand in hand!
I ordered an oat milk cappuccino at Full City Rooster and it was a letdown—thin, bubbly foam and the milk tasted a bit overheated, so the espresso came off harsh and roasty. Cool roastery vibe and nice staff, but the drink lacked balance. I’d skip the oat cap here and try a pour-over or straight espresso next time.
Good coffee and a lively brunch atmosphere. The coffee kept coming and tasted fresh, exactly what you want when starting the day. The only downside was the amount of political messaging around the place. It felt a bit much and distracted from what could otherwise be a simple coffee stop.
Spacious coffee bar near downtown. Coffee was good, I had a brown sugar latter and should have asked for it to be 1/2 sweet but my husbands regular latte was delicious. There is a selection of breakfast burritos from Taco deli and some pretty good pastries at the counter to enjoy with your coffee. It was so great to see a gathering of kids, couples, friends, and dogs at this cafe. Everyone is very friendly and service is quick. When we are in the area I’m sure we will revisit.
