La Casita Bakeshop Dallas Reviews
Have been to several places for latte and some pastries, but never left any review cuz I’m from Uzb and it’s not smth usual to leave a review. Honestly, I’ve have the best plain latte here with honey and butter croissant in huge size which made me full. Talking abt coffee, foam was really smooth like a cloud on top of my coffee, pity I didnt tell abt making less sweet earlier, but really enjoyed from it. Plus, love the books and baby changing availability
Some of the best bread and pastries I’ve had in North Dallas. Got the strawberry guava poptart, monkey bread and almond orange cookie and all were fantastic. Will definitely be back in the future.
What a gem hidden away in a strip shopping center! We are so lucky to have such a gourmet spot for meeting friends or solo dining for breakfast and/or lunch in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. I have visited La Casita several times with a friend, alone, and with my husband. The food never disappoints and I always look forward to the cheerful service from Sam and Hannah. These ladies have been very attentive to making sure the food is just right and both have made excellent suggestions informing us of the levels of spice or the size (many are perfect for sharing!) in some of the dishes. I appreciate being able to confidently try all the amazing options here. The walk back to the restrooms is also very informative as you get a glimpse of the bakers hard at work baking for their several sites. Get ready to try the revolving weekend fabulous pastry specials and to choose a favorite weekday pastry!
I came in for some of their house-baked bread. Their baked goods are delicious!! I got a baguette, loaf of sourdough, and a cruffin. I like how they give you an idea of how long to store their food in specific temperatues, like refridgerated or frozen. I haven't tried their brunch menu yet, but am excited to bring my friends to try it out together.
It was a bit busy so I went to the coffee bar. Even though there were a lot of people there, the barista had a smile on her face. I believe her name was Tara. She made me an excellent drink! Highly recommend La Casita! I think the owner was even on Gordon Ramsey’s new show. So if you get the chance, definitely stop by!
Found a favorite coffee spot! Love the music, fast, and the Burbon Chocokate Pecan Croissant and café de olla!! Yum. I was looking fir a spot to read or wrute with a nice cup of coffee. There is a waitung side with a sofa if you order ti go or there is an area to sit and dine. First time here. Like.
La Casita Catering was absolutely fantastic for our wedding! Elizabeth was so wonderful to work with — incredibly responsive, professional, and thoughtful in helping us curate the perfect menu for our event. The food was delicious, and the hors d’oeuvres were to die for — definitely a crowd favorite! I also can’t say enough good things about the cake and desserts they prepared. Everything was beautifully presented and so tasty that we hardly had any leftovers. I’m not a fan of fondant, so I especially appreciated the timeless and elegant buttercream design on our cake. It was truly perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend La Casita Catering!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Casita Bakeshop is a true hidden gem in Richardson! We stopped by and tried two pastries — one traditional and one unique — and both were absolutely incredible. Flaky, buttery, and perfectly balanced in flavor. But the real showstopper was the Birria Brisket Croque Madame. For $19, you get birria-braised brisket and melty Oaxaca cheese between sourdough, topped with a rich Oaxaca mornay sauce, pickled red onions, a sunny-side-up egg, and a touch of salsa macha. It knocked my socks off — rich, flavorful, and worth every bite. We’re already planning our next visit to explore the rest of their breakfast menu. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
As soon you walk in you can just feel how positive the atmosphere here is and it’s just so welcoming. Service was 10/10, waitress was super nice and recommended me to order the chilaquiles. Food was BOMB! Husband ordered the Cuban and he loved it. My son ordered the classic burger ( it’s 2 meats) and he was stuffed and happy. Got some bakery items as well, almond croissant (10/10) Churro Cruffin (8/10) Banana muffin (9/10) Strawberry Guava pop tart (8/10) Overall, it was great!
this place is amazing in every way. the pastries are top tier, bread is always delicious and if you can make it in on the weekend, their brunch is phenomenal! I even ordered catering for thanksgiving from them and it was a complete hit! can’t forget the awesome service, on my last visit our waitress forgot to submit our order so we were sitting for about 15 minutes before she came over to let us know what happened, apologized profusely and offered to comp items off our tab. she was so sweet and the free pastries were even sweeter 😋
We went for brunch here with the family two days before Christmas. I ordered Christmas Madam from their Holiday Brunch Menu and their Grinch pancakes. I bought a Sourdough loaf and Cinnamon raisin loaf bread. Very clean Cafe and Bakery. Servers are friendly and helpful. Well lighted and decorated place.
I came in on a Wednesday morning around 8:45 am and had both the cold and hot sweet potato lattes—both were absolutely delicious! My waiter, Tess, was excellent, and everyone else who helped me was just as amazing. The food runners who brought the drinks and food were so cheerful, and I noticed that even the employees in the back were smiling. The ambiance and vibe in this place are incredibly comfortable and uplifting. I originally just came in for coffee and a croissant, but I ended up staying for over an hour, enjoying a full meal including chilaquiles. Highly recommend LaCasita Bakeshop in Richardson, TX!
A gem in Richardson. The pastries are all delicious and thoroughly enjoy the oat milk Turkish latte. The staff are all delightful, from hostess to management. They are always very attentive and wants everyone to enjoy their time. Jesus, one of the Managers, is always tending to everyone! I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for delicious brunch!
Finally got a chance to try La Casita. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend this place.
Cute bakeshop with good coffee and pastries. I ordered the sweet potato latte, chicken Tikka masala sandwich, and some pastries. The latte was really good and I enjoyed the sweet potato flavor it had. While the sandwich was good I didn't think there was anything special about it, but the chicken was crispy and I liked the Tikka masala sauce on it. The pastries I got were the churro cruffin, ham and cheese croissant, and pesto croissant. I would come back for the coffee and pastries as they were the highlight of the place. The pastries were flaky and crispy on top. I would recommend any of the pastries I ordered.
