Mustang Donuts Dallas Reviews
If you want local, amazing donuts- go to mustang. They are the kindest, sweetest people. They will learn your name and talk to you. Love going here! Their frosting is fluffy and unmatched to any other place around. If you get donut holes, they will give you extra. Don’t sleep on this place!
Took an uber all the way from downtown Dallas after a colleague said the donuts here are better than in London. I wasn’t disappointed.
Amazing donuts and amazing service! Sue and crew are the best!
Always great donuts. We were getting a slot and they gave us a couple glazed that were hot off the line!
A mustang donuts is an awesome small business that every SMU student knows of. They've been open since my own Dad went to SMU more than 20 years ago! Their donuts are awesome and the workers are always super kind! They give extra donut holes for every purchase 😊!!
Amazing donut shop that’s kept the same level of quality for well over a decade. Popular with both local families and college kids. Cash only

Great donuts. Homemade donuts from what looked like a family run business. Lady told us that if we wanted specific donuts that were not on display, she would make it for us! Super sweet.
I love Mustang donuts! They are tasty and fresh! Quick in and out. Grab drinks out of the cooler too!
Consistently the best donuts I've had. Have both cake and fried. Simple, no fuss. They do take card now, which is great! But I kind of miss the cash-only aspect, it was part of the charm for me.
Far and away the best donuts we've ever had, in fact the only donuts my kids will eat. Seriously, they turn their nose up at the krispy kreme at church. Staff is friendly and helpful and have even special made donuts for us if they were out of the kind we wanted. (photo taken pre-covid)
Apple fritters are delicious! Also ask for a raspberry jelly filled donut, they are to die for!
The donuts are some of the best fresh donuts around. I drive from Frisco to buy them. They use actual frosting on their sprinkle donuts. The workers are very nice. Cash only.
the best doughnuts in the world. We had them 33 years ago when we went to SMU. We missed them a lot. And Tey are good as ever. Susanna & Uwe from 🇩🇪
They DO accept credit cards now! I noticed the bad reviews mostly mentioned it’s cash only and I don’t know when they changed but as of August 2023, they accept cash AND cards. The best. Been going 25+ years!! It’s so great.

I love the smell of fresh doughnuts in the morning. My experience here was good. The only my draw back was sound of a worker (young man) taking to a customer like a child so early in the morning. So you want three!!!!! Mind you in front of his wife and kids. No sir! Lol! Doughnuts are soft and gooey on the inside and not too sweet, kind of like that annoyed worker.
Tasty traditional donuts. Cash only. There are a few tables to eat in.

I’m a simple guy. There’s a line, I wait. When I entered, both employees were with other customers so I waited and waited. By the time they finished, what had just been me in line was now 6 people. Another customer decided she wanted to cut the line and neither employee said a word until I started to leave. Customer service isn’t rocket science- if you have a line, acknowledge it. No mas Mustang for this local family.
Awful customer service. Ordered 25 downstairs and they packed everything in a pile one on top of the other. The chocolate donuts were mushed up on to the glacéd donuts.. it looked disgusting 🤮
Price is crazy and pig in the blankets where dry and had no flavor 42 dollars for dozen pig in the blanks and mix dozen

This donut shop needs a Cash Only sign on the front door. They need to evolve and take debit/credit cards. Especially during covid it would be smart to handle less cash.
