If I could leave more stars for service I would. We went to Oishii last night and were served by Julia. Who not only was on point in her knowledge of the menu but made sure the consistent flow of rolls was impeccable. Each roll was better than the last and when given the challenge to surprise us with her favorite she didn’t come to play. Pictures is her favorite, an amazingly crafted roll on top of a Himalayan salt stone. I’ll definitely have to come back one more time before I move and definitely every time I’m in town. If anything for the amazing service which was just as fantastic as the food.

My partner and I had a reservation set on Valentine's Day at 5:45PM. We showed up at 5:30PM and were seated immediately. It was our 1st time. The ambience was warming as well as peaceful. There was a bit of a cold breeze coming through that I could not shake. Management was able to cater to me in such a kind manner. Our server, Dylan, was also a pleasure. The food we enjoyed was incredibly flavorful and unique! We did not leave a single bite behind. We started with the calamari and the spicy edamame. We had 4 rolls total, but only 3 are pictured. The 1st roll was the Cowboy roll and that 1 was our favorite. It's presence didn't last long. We also tried the Spyder roll, the Oishii roll and topped off our meal with the Summer roll. The Summer roll was my 2nd favorite. It's bursting with a blend of deliciousness! It's 1 of the rice-less rolls that are offered. It's the most refreshing roll I've ever had. We do have a SEVERE avocado allergy and the staff was able to accommodate us superbly.

It was my first time here, and even on a Sunday night it was packed. The only negative I had is that we ordered 2 rolls and our second one came out at a much later time. They have many interesting specialty rolls, we tried the Himalayan roll and Royce roll. Neither roll has sushi rice but we didn't miss it! The Himalayan roll was served on a sea salt table and had a mix of salmon, tuna, and avocado on top of the cucumber wrapped rolls which was really refreshing. The Royce roll was wrapped yellowtail and had a citrus flavor, it was served with an eel and Sriracha mayo mix on the side. I really liked that since I feel like any sauce can be too overpowering. Several specialty cocktails sounds yummy, but I tried the Golden Sunlight. If you don't prefer whiskey I still recommend it! It's a mix is citrus spice but still refreshing.

Get the Royce Roll. Trust me. Staff was all friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! It’s our new favorite sushi in Dallas.

Waitress was very attentive to us, always checking up on us and making sure we understood the menu. The owner Thomas was very nice to us, and made us feel super welcome when we told him it was our first time, great place and will definitely be coming back ! The caterpillar was amazing and my advisor loved the poke roll ! The dessert was also very delicious !

This is my FAVORITE Sushi place in Dallas! I used to work off Maple and Oaklawn and we went for lunch every week. I have worked from home since 2019 and have only been once since. My fiancee and friends took me January 10 2026 for my birthday. It was amazing as always and they gave me a cute little moochie plate that was delicious. I love this place!

Shocked! From the outside and the location was not expecting this place to be this good. Was the perfect place for NYE. Delicious sushi and really good PHO. Had sushi, pho and a drink still under $50 for NYE.

First, if you're not into sushi consider another venue. The menu is 99% sushi with no tempura offerings. However there is one very delicious not really sushi option, The Volcano Roll which is not really spicy at all. A friend recommended it, but our server really took the time to explain the dish. I'm not into spicy so he asked the chefs to leave off what little chili powder it usually comes with. I would go back just to have that one dish again. If you like scallops and crab, give this dish a try. The whole dining experience was top notch.

Came to this restaurant with my husband and 1 year old. It was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was one out of a magazine and felt elevated with the staffs attention to detail. Annie was the perfect waitress!! She solidified our experience with her top notch recommendations. Will be dinning here more often from now on. Thank you !!

My friend and I stopped by here on lunch break. I have to say the Flower Sushi was THE BEST sushi I have ever had. I grew up in Hawaii where I have had sushi my whole life. Dunno what magic they put into it... but damn yummy!

Lots of incredible options which can be hard to choose from BUT with help from our amazing server Annie she made the most incredible recommendations. I love yellowtail and tuna, she immediately pointed out multiple amazing choices. My boyfriend loves smoked salmon and she knew right away which roll to recommend. Let me tell you she hit the nail on the head for the both of us! She is such a gem. The sushi is incredible too! It’s not always that you get great sushi and an incredible server to match. Could not recommend more! Next time I come back I’m definitely asking to be sat in Annie’s section!

We were introduced to Oishii by some friends. Let me preference this with, we have been going to the same sushi bar for over 20 years. We are very partial to the sushi bar we've been going to for so long because they are so good. Oishii took us by surprise, with their customer service and how fast they got our food out even though the restaurant was very busy. We have since tried three different locations, and have had the same experience at each location. The Himalayan roll is a must during your visit. There's sushi and other menu items like the orange chicken taste wonderful along with their different desserts we have tried as well.

We went to Oishii to celebrate our Big Boss’s birthday lunch. My first time there, and it’s her favorite spot. The food was absolutely delicious, and I would highly recommend it. I ordered the salmon carpaccio, which was pure heaven in every bite. Her go to dish, the Himalayan Roll, was beautifully presented and tasted just as amazing. I will definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, the service is friendly, and the sushi… next level! 🍣 Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in town can’t wait to come back! 🙌✨

Delicious fresh flavorful sushi. Ordered #44, flower and the Royce along with spicy edamame. All of the rolls were full of flavor and a great portion. It was plenty of food for two of us. The fish was fresh and service was quick.

Walked in and immediately felt a little underdressed—definitely the perfect spot to take a date. I made my way over to the bar, but I have to say the mixed drinks need a little work. The Sal de Vida could use more pineapple and fresh lemon juice instead of lime. And please hold the rosemary 🙏—or at least let it float on top. When it touches the drink, it completely changes the flavor. On the food side, I tried the Himalayan roll—absolutely amazing, a must-try. Overall, the place itself is beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

The Himalaya is one of my new favorite rolls, and the presentation is almost too beautiful to eat...almost 😅 All of the staff was wonderful and I will be back next time I'm in the area!

One of our favorite places to get sushi in Dallas. Located not far from the Oaklawn area, Oishii always provides great sushi, great service, and an overall great atmosphere. Definitely recommend starting with the spicy edamame and Toro sashimi. Their specialty rolls don’t disappoint, this time we tried the 44 Roll and the Thanh Scallop Roll. Whether you’re a sushi beginner or have sushi regularly, 10/10 recommend Oishii to everybody.

Great spot for a date night before a show or game at the AAC. Food was delicious, prices are fair and so many options! The staff is great- knowledgeable, professional and gave great recommendations. I always appreciate direction when there are so many menu items. I recommend sitting at the bar for a livelier more interactive vibe. If you want a more romantic setting the dining room is very dimly lit and totally different than the bar area. Super quiet compared to the bar. Bonus- park there and uber to the AAC and you will save about $30 in parking. You’re welcome!

This is the second time we have eaten at Oishii Sushi. We feel that this is one of the best sushi restaurants around! The food is always so fresh and the presentation is phenomenal! Loi has waited on us each time. He is always so friendly and serves with a big smile. My only complaint would be that it is cold in the restaurant. The ceiling fans are always turning with the AC on. But that’s a good thing during the summer, of course. Bring a jacket! Each time we’re in Dallas we have to make sure we stop at Oishii. Wonderful food!

This place came highly recommended! And I can totally see why. Here's what we ordered: Pan-fried shrimp and pork dumplings: 10 42 roll: 10 Spicy tuna: 10 G roll: 10 Singapore noodles: 9 Everything I ordered was delicious!! Just the right portions, decently priced, and great atmosphere. I would definitely return. I already told my husband we have to have a date night there! 5/23 edit Went back with my husband for date night to try new rolls and man they did not disappoint. I only wish the flat noodles were hot had more noodles. But everything g was so tasty!

Fresh, flavorful and delicious! So many great options for Maki rolls and sashimi. The sushi chefs do an amazing job on preparation & presentation. I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar to get recommendations on new things to try. So many favorites! There are a lot of Asian entrees available on the menu too. The staff is always pleasant. Reservations recommended. Highly recommend!

Food: We ordered the sizzling shrimp, scallops, calamari and white fishand it was really yummy. The dish could use more sauce for the rice, though. We ordered 3 other sushi dishes, but I don't remember their names. There was a cooked one that was topped with crawfishand the other had green fish eggs. Service: our waitress was really polite and attentive. Ambience: the restaurant is too loud for my liking. I was yelling to have a conversation. Although it was really busy, the food came out in good time. $: it was well priced.

The restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. Getting seated at the open kitchen took over 10 mins, which could have been avoided. Order taking was slow given most tables were occupied. However, the food came out really quick. The food tasted great right from the appetizers to entrees. The menu is exhaustive with options for Sashimi, Sushi, rolls, pho, fried rice & more. The drinks menu offers cocktails, wines, sakes and a full bar service. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant with tables and open kitchen seating. Pricing: Moderate high for food, high for alcoholic drinks. Overall a great place for some good sushi. Definitely recommend this place.

I don't know who is writing these reviews because this place has horrible food. We ordered through their website for delivery to our hotel just a few minutes down the street. We opted for delivery because we are staying in town for a doctor's appointment for my disabled son the next day. Easier to get delivery than to pick up or eat in with a disabled child who is more comfortable lounging in bed. Anyways, we got two rolls, dumplings, and a chicken noodle dish. Each item was not good or inedible. Sushi was warm and the taste was horrible. And like I said, we were just down the street, the sushi should not have been warm. Noodles were overpowered with curry, so much that it was inedible. And the dumplings were just not great and super greasy. Everything had an overpowering lemon flavor. I called the restaurant and they said they cannot refund me because it was delivered by DoorDash (even though I ordered straight through the restaurant's website), and I would have to contact DoorDash for a refund. Called Door Dash and they said they would refund me $12... My bill was $85!!!! I feel scammed and robbed. I ordered from this sushi place as a treat for myself. As a mother with a disabled child, I rarely get to treat myself nor can I afford to do so hardly ever. So, I read all of these wonderful reviews and thought, I never get to eat in Dallas so let's get some of my favorite food, sushi. I used to eat sushi a lot when I had more means, so I know what it should be like. This ain't it. Not only was the sushi warm, they sliced the fish so thin, (which is not how you serve sushi) that there is barely any fish on the roll. For $20 a roll, you'd better give me more than rice and crab meat. It was such a disappointment and a huge expense because I had to order food from the hotel lobby to feed my son because i wasnt aboutto feed him any of that. I am so disappointed that Oishii could not make it right and give me a refund. I didn't even ask for a full refund, just for the rolls because they were not consumable. Just do yourself a favor, save your money, and don't eat here.
