I have eaten several times in this place and the times I have gone I have loved it. The attention has been the right one, the drinks are delicious and the food more. The prices are in line with the quality of the products.

It was amazing, they were very friendly and the music was great ! The server we got was in training and they did an excellent job, I enjoyed my food and so did my fellow friends, would recommend 10/10, will go again next time I’m in town !

I have "GOT" to say Hands down This CFS was totally Awesome !! Marc Buehler had said "Best Damn CFS" and i can Agree...!! 😋 😋 😋 😋 This was BIG and Thick (that's what he said..🤣) I was NOT expecting it to be this size !! Its better than Eatzis and Luckys and That other place on Elm, Steakhouse! And i'm "somewhat" a conesuer (however you spell it) of CFS. Im always looking for the best. They "ONLY" have this during brunch on the weekends....what they need to do is ADD this to the menu !! DAILY ! Marc KUDDOS !! Compliments to the Chef 👨‍🍳!! People Go eat @ this place order the CFS during Brunch on the weekends. I know I'll definitely be back. I wasn't a Roy G's fan before....but Looks like I am Now !! Y'all Stay Safe and Warm !!

This place was AWESOME! We came here for my best friends’ bachelorette brunch and Drea made sure we were taken care of every second of our visit! Between giving us incredible recommendations, checking in on us frequently, and cracking jokes constantly, she definitely MADE this experience! Loved this establishment, will for sure be back!

First time here and Drea was absolutely amazing and super welcoming. I was almost tempted to go back the next morning. I had the K-Luv bites and they NAILED that korean taste. Definitely recommended this place

First time here and I was not disappointed. Their service was very fast and friendly. The server was very attentive and also let us know what was good to eat there. Their burger did not disappoint and those fries, OMG, so good! They had a good crowd for early lunch. The music selection was great altjough a little to loud. The TVs had RuPaul's Drag Race on. Overall very people friendly, delicious food and fun atmosphere will be coming here again.

Music is low enough to have a conversation. Service is wonderful and attentive, even when busy. Food is really good. They've added new things and the K-Luv bites are really on point. Old fashioned wasn't half bad either.

It has a retro vibe and we received great service from our server. Food was absolutely fantastic. Hole-in-the-wall style appeal with a nice patio on Cedar Springs. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

The pickle-brined chicken sandwich is fantastic. I always sit at the counter if there’s room and the waitress/bartender is always friendly and somehow remembers what I order (the chicken sandwich, obviously haha) even though I’m in there maybe once a month or once every two months.

Their new menu is great! We went for brunch. The potatoes were perfection and the eggs were excellent. The bacon crispy and cold brew fresh. The servers are friedlndly, polite and prompt. Can we talk about the affordable prices? I am not sure how they keep the brunch prices so low. And if you're trying to get your brunch crew drink on, try to tower mimosa.

We had the best Bloody Mary there, it was family friendly. Our server & the staff were more than helpful! 10/10 recommend. Effy was the BEST 💙

This place has some of the best burgers I've ever tasted. I love that it wasn't overly priced, including drinks. The service was great. The atmosphere was so cute. They had a patio as well. 10/10

I’ve been a regular here for well over a year now and food and service are always fantastic. All the food is made from scratch and their drinks never disappoint, you know they take a lot of pride in it! Servers, bartenders and manger are all incredibly friendly and a joy to speak with every time I come in. Atmosphere is low-key and the outside patio is covered with misting/hearing depending on weather needs! I always suggest this place as your first stop if going out on the strip or for a delicious filling meal. I’ll always be customer as long as I’m in Dallas! 💚🌸 much love to all the staff that make this place feel so special (Will add photos soon!)

Awesome patio with full cover but open windows for air flow. Food was piping hot and FAST! Server was awesome - we had a great time here. Server was very attentive and the ambiance is fabulous. Patio has heaters for cool weather, safe in rain too!

Ambiance is really nice. Specially with the decor. Our server was super friendly & made the experience so much more better. This place is pretty much bar food. But really tasty & affordable bar food for Dallas. The drinks are also affordable & its got the perfect amount of alcohol where you can feel the buzz from 1 drink. The chicken tenders & the pickle brine chkn sandwich are so so tasty. Chicken is perfectly cooked. The fries are also perfectly crispy & perfectly seasoned.

This place is wonderfully located in the middle of the gayborhood’s main strip. We usually love coming here for drinks and a lively environment, but actually got food this time around. Tried their bbq pork sandwich and quesadilla. Both were quite delectable! Everyone is friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend!

Roy G's is one of my favorite brunch places in Dallas. Besides the food being delicious and the service being great, I just felt it had a very fun environment. I'll return in the future with more friends so I can order one of those drink towers.

I was very sad when an original restaurant from the Street family closed, but I was excited to see that they were adding to the family on Cedar Springs. I had a chicken sandwich and a blue electric. The chicken sandwich was the best that I have ever had, and the blue electric was very nostalgic. I would definitely recommend stopping by for some amazing food and quality drinks.

I think Roy G.'s is a great addition to the neighborhood. As long as they keep up the quality of the food/drinks, and maintain such a welcoming community atmosphere, they're be here for a long time! We made our first visit around 4:30 on a Saturday. Wanted to make sure we missed the lunch and dinner rushes (drove by at 1:00 that day and the patio was packed!). Our server was really nice. She explained they were in the midst of a "super soft" opening (and I resisted the urge to ask when their opening would become really hard. lol). To start, we wanted to "Taste the Rainbow": a series of shots aligned to the colors of the Pride flag. Was a little disappointed we couldn't get the full flight of seven at once because TABC rules will only allow 2 drinks per person at a table, so poor Indigo had to be left out. Now, let it be said, I'm not a "shot" kind of person, so while I love the novelty of the idea, I didn't particularly care for the ones I tasted with the exception of Blue which was delicious! The other were so alcohol-y (if that's a word) and a bit much for me. Not knocking them though... the drinks are as-described in the menu. We just thought it would be fun to try them all. As for food, given the soft opening the menu was relegated to a single page. Good stuff though! We started with a half order of the cheese fries that had bacon and ample jalapeno peppers. Our party had the pulled pork sandwich, the pickle brined and fried chicken sandwich, and I had the Snookies Hickory Burger (sans onions). We all agreed that we enjoyed the meal. And I think the price point for all was perfect! A couple of final notes. First, they've gone high tech with their order processing system. The server takes the order on the device and it goes straight to the kitchen, and everything is handled on the same device when you pay afterward. It just makes things a little faster which is nice. The only issue with the visit, and I suppose this is a weird one, had to do with the restroom. The one I visited had a huge mirror directly behind the toilet, which forced me to view myself from my knees up as I performed some of the personal of business one can do standing up. It was an incredibly weird experience, because I can't really say I've ever been forced to watch myself from that perspective in that moment! Finally, and I think this is hilariously awesome assuming it's intentional. All three of the television monitors in the main dining area didn't have the typical sports or news channels playing. No, Roy G.'s is embracing a different vibe! One TV was playing a YouTube channel on "miniature cuisine", another on "toy making", and the last I think was about "doll houses". All creative arts. Loved it! Will definitely be back. :-)

I've been twice so far, rather empty when I've visited... but it's nice. I'm sure it gets packed. Best margaritas I've had! Strong,💪🏽 sweet,🍬 very cold 🧊 and very refreshing, especially from all this heat. I've only tried two appetizers..the pretzels 🥨 with the beer 🍺batter cheese 🧀 and the fried mushrooms 🍄...which were really good and fresh. Just enough to coat 🧥 the stomach ya know. But those Margaritas tho! 💛💚❤️🧡💙💜

I had an incredible first time here! The space has seats at the bar top, tables and booths inside, and plenty of room on the patio. There were also screens all around playing various shows/movies. Cheese fries were delicious! The only thing I'd like to see is better distribution of toppings. One side had the bacon, the other had the green onions, and then fries underneath the first layer had nothing. Drinks were incredible and boozy! I started with a blueberry martini and then our server recommended the marg or banana hammock. I typically don't like house margaritas, but the one here was fantastic. My friend enjoyed the Banana Hammock (I tried it, but didn't order because I don't like banana). It was a nice treat! We had a Violet shot which was floral and sweet. I really liked it. The rainbow assortment of shots on the menu is creative and provides a little something for everyone. Scott was an incredible server! I'd go back for him alone. He had the best recommendations and lively interactions.

Arrive for dinner and sat on the patio as it was nice weather out! Asked about red wine and decided on the Cabernet. 5 minutes later server came back and said there was no Cabernet, so ordered the red blend. Ordered the hummus as an appetizer. Seven minutes later server came back and said there was no hummus. So, ordered the fries, which turned out to be good. For main course I ordered the fish tacos. Took 15 to get to me. When it did arrive, the “goldfish“ size of fish was covered in lettuce. Once I removed the lettuce, it was more like a one bite meal. Ordered another glass of wine and after 12 minutes of waiting, decided to go find the server and he just handed me the glasses of wine as he was walking around the inside talking to everyone. Service was VERY mediocre and food was unimpressive. I’ve been there before and felt the same way. Was really hoping that after new ownership, something would change. Probably will not return. Giving two stars because at least the fries were good… Very sad that there is no longer a restaurant that offers good food and service in the gayborhood. You really have to go uptown or to Knox area to get good food and service now…
