One of the best Thai restaurants in the area! As a Thai, I highly recommend this place. It’s my go-to spot. The food is impressively authentic, and you can even request true Thai-level spiciness if you prefer. The sushi is also fresh and delicious. What I like most is that the portions are generous compared to the price—it’s a really great deal! The restaurant is spotless, the service is top-notch, the parking is easy, and the chef-owner is always friendly, welcoming, and open to feedback.

The moment we walked in we were greeted with such kindness! Our server Hiromi was very attentive and friendly. The chef also came out and greeted us all in the restaurant. From the pad Thai to the sushi and apps, everything was amazing. I will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu items and recommend my friends to stop by!

I definitely recommend this place, the food is so fresh and just the perfect Japanese comfort food! The staff is very nice and the service was amazing. Definitely will bring my friends and family. We got the fried rice(which is very moist and delicious) the next thing we got was the garlic sauce with beef(this is my absolute favorite meal, it’s so juicy and flavorful and the veggies are done perfectly) the last item we got was the mango roll(if you like mango, this definitely the go to roll!).

I had the fortune of coming here two days in a row... Took my wife the second time and enjoyed a good meal with large portions. The fried rice is big enough for up to three people. Sushi was very flavorful and so was the gyoza and Krab Siam. The tea was infused with condensed milk so naturally as a Cuban this was a hit. What stood out for me was the service. The wait staff was attentive and cared for my expectant wife like she was part of the family and left a good impression. Definitely coming back!

This place opened just as we were moving out of Davie. We ordered take out before we moved and it was really good. We came back to visit and ate inside. Service was great, but the sushi was phenomenal! Everything was so fresh, you do not need soy sauce or spicy mayo or anything, rolls are perfect the way they are. Portions are large. We got the Davie Roll, Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna, Salmon in Seaweed Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll. The Shimp Tempura is a cooked perfectly! Just the right amount of crispy! I want more!

Delicious…super fresh…generous & beautiful portions…talk about great value for the money….just made it in time for lunch specials!(ends at 4 pm)…modern space with comfortable seating…super friendly staff and the chef came to ask us how the food was…I can’t say enough good things! The white fish melted in your mouth and actually tasted like butter! It was amazing….I can’t wait to go back with the whole family, what a gem!!!

This was my 2nd visit here. The first time was when they first opened. Fast forward a year later, and it's just as good. And really busy! We came on Thursday night and it was packed. Best apps to order is the Kimono Shrimp and if you don't like fried, go for the Hamachi Jalapeno. The shrimp is wrapped in this perfectly crispy shell and the hamachi is super fresh. As for the sushi, I highly suggest the Daddy Love Browne Roll which a "Lobster Bomb" roll with their own twist. The presentation itself will impress you. For those who don't sushi, then you can't go wrong with the Duck Pad Thai or Volcano Tiger Prawn. Both are prepared with love and the portions are enough to share. Also, the Pad Kra Pow Phed (half-crispy duck) is another great option. I guess we just love duck..LOL :) And of course, you can't leave this place without having their fresh hot Thai donuts. So addictive. Big fan of this place. Chef Ji is really dedicated to creating elevated Asian food. So visit them when you're in Davie or Cooper City neighborhood. Also, they have plenty of free parking.

We were craving Thai and this hit the spot. This is our new favorite Thai spot on the west side of Broward! We ordered beef pad see ew and chicken pad Thai and both were cooked perfectly. So much flavor packed in the meals and the portion sizes were huge. Highly recommend!!

My new little gem for Thai cravings and Sushi. OMG... the little place is wonderful. Opened a week ago. I ordered the Kimono shrimp rolls and Gyoza. I also tried 3 sushi rolls, the Mango roll, Crunchy Tuna, and Volcano roll. All delicious. I ordered the Ramen soup and Chicken Satay to good. The owner greeted me at the door and I thought he was a worker.. He went table by table greeting all clients. He is a very friendly, humble person. Says his Grandma taught him Thai cuisine from scratch. He had to climb Coconut trees to chop the cocos and squeeze the milk out of them. He learned Thai food in a home kitchen and this is how he keeps his Grandma's memory alive. He is very happy with the turn out of the place. He makes all sauces himself from scratch. I'm very excited to have this little spot near my home and believe as a community, we should support little places kitchens like this one!

KUB KAO appeared in the list, I checked photos and reviews and thought they didn't have a huge review section, but everything was positive, so we hit it up. We were soooooo glad we did. We went for a fast lunch after school. We took edamame, miso soup, udon, and pinneaple fried rice. The food came fast and all the ingredients were very fresh. Food was very tasty and very honest. I think we will go again to try the duck and the sushi.

Found my new favorite sushi spot! It’s clean, beautiful orchids everywhere and service is quick and efficient. I really enjoyed the Daddy love Brownie sushi, it came with so much and was so worth it. The curries are great too. I was so full that I can’t comment on the dessert but next time I will try it! 5 stars all the way!

Been here several times and always get the pad see ew with beef. They're consistent with a delicious sauce and tender beef. Their Pad Thai and Peanut Sauce stir fry is also delicious. My friends would also get their sushi and they recommend it. Friendly and attentive staff, especially by Pooki who serves us every time we come back. Reasonable prices and large portions. One of the best Thai restaurants in town.

Great customer service. They are very attentive and helpful when I have question on certain dishes. Their foods were amazing too. Great flavor and have great spice. I ordered the Thai spice and it didn’t disappoint at all. Totally would come back again. Their Tom yum is the only thing I didn’t like, it wasn’t sour enough and too oily. But otherwise all of the foods were great The restaurant has great deco as well. Can tell the owner put in a lot of effort in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Best pad Thai ever....and I have actually been to Thailand.I have chicken and add fried tofu. They have some incredible dishes, one of their specials is an eggplant and giant prawn dish that is incredible! Sushi is delichouse...been here many times, but last night only had Mexican roll, gyoza, 2 of us had pad Thai and one fried rice.

We had a very pleasant experience at Kub Kao. I had three rolls of sushi to try out and my wife had the Duck Lover and she was indeed in love with that duck. The fried rice was great too, had a nice smoky flavor.The sushi was fresh and tasty and came beautifully garnished on a long plate. A perfect dinner and very attentive service. We will come back as soon as we as we finish the leftovers. Good portions, attentive staff and nice atmosphere. A must try. We also had some takeout recently and it looked and tasted amazing. This place has consistently good food and is truly a gem in Davie.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants now! Me and my hubby shared 3 dishes. The tuna crispy rice, rainbow roll and then the sweet and sour duck. We were happy 3x in a row! Yummy!

Kub Kao Thai & Sushi is just consistently so good. The service is outstanding, great atmosphere and decor, and the food is outstanding every single time. The fried rice is the best Thai rice I’ve ever had, and the crunchy tuna rice is out of this world. The portions are also generous and shareable.I order To go and dine in at least once a week. I’ve heard great things about their lunch specials, but have only been for dinner. The servers are very sweet and hardworking, Diego is amazing and so is the other lady (forgive me I forgot her name) and so are the sushi chefs. PLEASE EVERYONE REMEMBER TO have patience with the staff. You will most likely have to wait to be seated, this is a smaller restaurant and I’m happy that it’s constantly busy whenever I go. Remember to tip your sushi chefs as well. My ONLY complaint is that the music is very loud, inside and out. It’s hard to have a conversation. So glad I found this place and really wish them the best, I will be a forever customer!

I ordered a pick up order and it was delicious. My 3 year old daughter ate all of her broccoli in their kids chicken teriyaki with rice. I ordered the peanut and avocado sushi and it hit the spot. It may seem weird to mix peanuts with avocado on sushi, but it was delicious.

Came for the Pad Thai. Loved that it felts like a cleaner version (not as sweet/savory, but just as delicious) right amount of everything.l especially fresh scallion. The ginger dressing for my salad is definitely on my top 3 ! I would come here just for the salad 😂 it’s so good. The Crab Siam are tasty and the fried rice is also very good and a big portion.

I absolutely love to try new food and the sushi me and my friends shared here was probably some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The ingredients are fresh and the combinations they have on the rolls we tried blended so well together. The service is very nice too all the servers are friendly and competent. Definitely would recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back and try more

Today me and my family came for dinner. My father in law was here from Brazil and we knew right away he would love this place. Gi the owner is extremely hands on and caring. Even on a Sunday he is there working to assure his customers are getting the best service and freshest food. I spoke with him and he said every morning 7 days a week he buys his produce and meat Fresh. I knew this already from my first meal here as you can taste it right.away. Pooky was our server who was amazingly pleasant and kind. I can go on and on. Please.come to Kub Kao and see for yourself.

Really delicious. High quality sushi. Get the Daddy Love Brownie Roll. It is so much sushi and the presentation is amazing. The crispy Rice tuna appetizer is also some of the best I’ve had on the East Coast. My friend has the Panang Curry and was raving about it even though she complained that the amount of white rice was a little bit. But overall this is a a must try!!!

For the price of the sushi you'd think it was much higher quality but it's average at best. Very expensive for what it is, but the rolls are tasty enough and everyone there is extremely friendly that deserve 5* for service alone. The portions are generous j the food is amazingly fresh. I am a long time local & have gone next door to Bangkok Cafe since i was a child & though it has a special place in my heart, Kub Kao has a special place in my stomach & I plan on eating her often in the future. The vibe in the restaurant is relaxed & clean. The Thai iced tea was amazing as well. The prices & amazing service from Kim & Ere (sorry for spelling, sounds like “air”) are what will keep me coming back.

Food was incredible! I am a bit picky with sushi, I like to actually see more seafood than rice. We ordered the Davie roll, Mexican roll, and Hawaiian roll, and veggie soup. Each roll was outstanding with the amount of seafood given. They have a lot of choices other than sushi that I cannot wait to try. The environment was very clean. We sat at the bar and I was watching the sushi creators, they were working so hard. The service was great! Friendly, attentive, and very sweet. This is definitely our new favorite sushi spot. The octopus was absolutely fabulous, and the sashimi tasted so fresh and delicious, even better than my usual spot. The red dragon roll was also really good. The stir fry was just okay, but that was on us for picking the wrong sauce. Overall, everything else was fantastic, and the service was great too. I’d definitely recommend Kub Kai Thai Sushi for anyone who loves fresh sushi and flavorful dishes!

This brand new Thai&Sushi restaurant it’s exactly what this part of our city needs. Today was their grand opening day and everything was awesome! Their staff members they all work as a team so you do not have only one waiter for your table, you have them all. They all come to your table in different occasions to make sure you are comfortable, enjoying your food and to find out if you need something, so don’t be afraid to call anyone of them to your table at any time and love it because you do not have to search for your waiter since you can talk to any of them and they will be happy to make sure you have the best experience,excellent service! Their food was delicious, we ordered sushi, red curry, papaya salad, dumplings and their delicious donuts with condensed milk. This restaurant is definitely a hidden precious jewel here in Davie and I highly recommended to everyone! I will definitely coming back to try their crispy duck!

The drunken noodles were excellent as was the red curry, curry puffs and spring rolls were great accompaniments. The Thai donuts were unbelievable! Very good food and service, my wife was very pleased, so all was well and will return for the Kao Soi!

I love this place. My "mom" goes quite often. Wonderful ambience. The presentation of the food is amazing. (It's almost too beautiful to eat). Hiromi is wonderful. 🥰🥰She is very knowledgeable of the menu. She asks if you have any food allergies before serving( most places do not). If I could give this place a 10/10 I would. The staff is very courteous and friendly. 💕 The Pad Thai with shrimp is excellent. The salad is fresh. The ginger dressing is refreshing. The sushi...delectable. When you think you are full, there is always room for desert. Today we had the Homemade Coconut ice cream with the sticky rice🤗🤗... If you are looking for a place to eat , this is it.. If you don't live near Davie, it is worth the time. (Try the Thai iced tea!) Kin hai aroi!

Really good Thai food. Had my favorite: pad Thai and tom yum soup. I got eg soup with 1 spice. It got me. 😂. Could also have been that I had a small head cold. It did the trick of warming by body though. I was grateful. And it was yummers. The staff are very friendly and quick to respond to your needs and requests. If I go back to Davie FL, I'll definitely stop back in. Oh!!! Almost forgot, the Thai tea was tastie too. They put more cream than other Thai places I've been. It was a great addition to the spice of the soup. 😂 Live it up and enjoy their food and service!

One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. I keep coming back to try different dishes, and everything is consistently good. Their curries, soups, sushi, and Thai tea are definitely worth trying. The service is generally good, though it could be better at times. I will keep coming back.

Is Sushi Thai or is Thai Sushi? Either way this is a good place. The staff is incredibly friendly. They have a nice diverse menu with so many options. We got the khao so it along with three different sushi rolls. All was very tasty

The food is fantastic both the sushi and Thai. The place is small and has both inside and outside seating. I've eaten in and take out. Only complaint with take out is that flatware is never packed and a few times my lunch special was missing its salad and spring roll. Then when i brought it to their attention they questioned me and i had to provide the receipt for verification. So be sure you always check your Togo order. However, dine in service is usually great. Napat, is truly a great and sweet server.

But what is really bad is the price of the fish. Sometimes you think to go and fish by yourself. About this place: pretty small place with friendly waitress and if you see better choice of Sushi and Sashimi. But waiting time around 30-40 min. So be ready.

Fantastic atmosphere with perfect volume, up-beat EDM and a high ceiling for a pleasant and lively experience Service was fantastic all around Beef pad thai was down right decent and huge portion Mussamam curry was quite good, although I wish they gave more rice The sushi was decent with good sauces but the fish was somewhat bland, likely just a sub par batch; wasabi was sppiiiccyy :) All that for $77 (pre tip); Luke value approved!

It’s was a good visit to this Thai and sushi restaurant. The place is clean and neat. It was a late visit and they have 3 tables with guest. The food taste good and serving are fast. The staff are courteous. It’s worth a visit. Would be nice to try again their other foods in the menu.

Everything about this restaurant was stellar from the service to the food. The only complaint and again this is a personal preference is that the music was too loud and had a kind of disco vibe to it. Our waitstaff was very attentive without being over bearing and the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Portions were perfect as well. Ambiance was clean and refreshing. Definitly will be returning.

Good price for the amount of food you get and the staff seems kind. The pad Thai had very little flavor it was a disappointing. Lo mein is very good! I would use that again. The garlic ribs appetizer is ok but the meat was a bit chewy. I would eat here again for the price alone and try something different next time.

Overall it was a great experience... Seated promptly and food came out in a timely fashion... The only thing that stood out was the lack of wasabi placed on the roll plate. We enjoyed the whole meal and will definitely return!

We went for an early dinner, around 4:30 PM. It wasn't very busy (4 other tables of customers). We were greated and told to sit anywhere and were immediately provided with menu's and asked for our drink order. From there, the service was very poor and slow. We received our meals about 30 mins after ordering. The food was good, not great. With so many other good Thai and sushi restaurants around, we will probably not be back.

Very disappointed in our meal after reading all the wonderful reviews. The curry puffs appetizer was pretty good, the cucumber “sauce” didn’t really feel like a dipping sauce though. Vegetables roll: sushi rice was dry (old?) and avocado looked bad with many brown spots. The rainbow roll: dry rice, old avocado, and an overly fishy taste (maybe not fresh?). Pad ki mao noodle dish: lacked flavor, the noodles were stuck together and mushy (possibly over cooked), the vegetables were too large for the dish, but a good amount of protein. Friendly service and decent price for the amount of food, just wish it tasted better.

The server was very attentive, and the presentation of the food was great! As far as the taste of the food, it was ok...very was filling though.

Me and my husband have dined in for sushi a few times and it was always great! We decided to order take out and try the stir fry and fried rice. Never again! The steak and chicken were bland and there were only a few pieces of veggies when we ordered extra, the greens salad was a joke and the fried rice that we paid extra for, tasted like plain white rice. A waste of $60. We just gave it to our dog. Such a shame because we really liked this place.

Honestly if you’re looking for real & clean authentic Thai food this is not the place. Even when we express dissatisfaction with the cuisine to the staff there was no form of consideration which added more lack luster to the overall experience. Next!

The most bland Thai food I have ever tasted. Very disappointed. Pictured is pad Thai which looks promising but was lacking all the flavor. The other dish is basil chicken that tasted as bland as that chicken looks. Both dishes 1/5⭐️🥴 The food was so bad/ bland that I don't even believe all their good reviews are real. I have multiple thai reviews on my page, please take a look for other suggestions.

The service was fine but the sushi was a disappointment, just bland and some parts had a fishy taste to it. It looked just but was just a let down

There was literally a COCKROACH in my wife’s fried rice. We took home leftovers, heated it up and my wife found the cockroach buried in the leftover Fried rice that were refrigerated immediately upon coming home. We both immediately puked. Disgusting. I have reported this restaurant to the health department.

Completely underwhelming, flavorless, and tiny portions. Tom Yum Gai soup tasted watered down and only had two mushrooms and some chicken. The white rice included with chicken and brown sauce stir fry was 3/4 filled and the chicken had a charred flavor to it, like something was burned in the skillet and that tainted the flavor and smell of the food. No rich spice in any dish. It all tasted like Chinese food. The California roll was tiny with barely any rice on the roll. First time and last time for sub par Thai food. And my pick up order took 45 minutes.
