Sphagetto Factory Davie Reviews
Not what I was expecting. You drive up outside and you think at first you are at the wrong location. Inside, it’s another story. A little industrial, but incredibly inviting. When they say fresh pasta, they mean ‘watch while we make it’ from the dining room. Wasn’t expecting to watch the owner give a tour of the facility, but wonderful to watch. Dining room and staff were amazingly friendly. Open seating and bread as soon as I sat down. Check out the weekly specials menu. I am a sucker for seasonal and local. Had the Sorrentina gnocchi with burrata. Got it within 10 minutes. Cheese stretch the likes of which are normally reserved for the finest of pizza. It’s not often I need to take a moment it’s so good. Little bit of basil oil on top, pillowy soft. Took home some other varieties it was so good. Next time I am in the area, I will be back.
Lasagna tasted like Italy. Very rich, meaty, lots of layers and very filling. Friendly staff too. Heated up very good next day as well.
This is an amazing place that makes homemade pasta and authentic Italian dishes. The owner and his wife came over from Italy to make and sell fresh pasta and their dreams came true when they opened their first restaurant in 2009. Being Italian myself I am very picky and this place blew my mind. We tried a lot of different things and the fettuccine carbonara literally blew my mind. We will definitely be coming back. Amazing place with legit Italian dishes.
Excellent authentic Italian food. Atmosphere is very no frills. Homemade pasta was delicious, as was the fish special. We brought our own wine as recommended by others and they do not sell alcohol. Reservations are needed for weekends as they only have a few tables. Pick a later time to go if you want to sit for a while. Will be coming back! A classic, I remember when they were located by Costco.
The best from the moment I walked in to sitting down! Authentic delicious Italian delights from main dishes to their yummmmy pastry!! Freshly made pasta and breads!! Can't wait to come back!!!
I really missed this kind of Italian restaurant. It’s just like the ones we used to visit in another countries…first of all when bread is served you noticed right away the difference and the speciality homemade pasta - al dente- delicious, as good pasta should be. It is not a fancy place but you will be feeling that “Italian home” service feeling - the location is on a set of warehouse, so don’t worry you are on the right address-
My family and I just moved to the neighborhood and went this evening. It was PACKED. We didn’t have a reservation (we is strongly recommended on weekends). Luckily they were able to accommodate us after about 15-20min. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was phenomenal. We had spaghetti with different sauces. The vodka sauce was our favorite. and we had the Burrata with prosciutto as an app. Overall I highly recommend this place. Great food, great prices, great service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spaghetto has become a regular of mine! Amazing food and vibes, they never disappoint. You can tell how much care they put into their food and the customer service. I’ve even used their services for catering and I highly recommend them!! Fair prices for beautifully prepared and tasty dishes :) They make a personalized menu for you and make sure to tailor to your needs and desires. Whether you’re looking for your next lunch/dinner spot or someone to cater, Spaghetto is the place!
I found this gem Spagheto kitchen and it was exquisite everything was delicious. The food is prepared from scratch the desserts were to die for. we had the tiramisu and the pastas were amazing. I had the ravioli with pink sauce and it was delicious. I will be returning and if I could provide 10 stars I would. the owner also came by the table several times he was very nice and attentive.
This is an amazing place hidden in an industrial area. It is a pasta factory where the owner will be your server and speaks mostly Italian which enhances the ambiance. Food is amazingly fresh…. Literally from factory to table. To end the experience don’t forget the dessert with espresso ☕️
Spaghetto Davie **Appetizer:** Burrata and Prosciutto The burrata was fresh and creamy, perfectly complemented by the savory and slightly salty prosciutto. It was a delightful start to the meal, with the flavors balancing each other beautifully. **Entrees:** - **Bucatini Amatriciana (Wife's Choice)** The bucatini amatriciana was a standout dish. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauce had a rich, deep flavor with a perfect blend of tomatoes, pancetta, and a hint of spice. It was hearty and satisfying. - **Linguine Alla Nerrano with Gamberetti (My Choice)** This dish was a seafood lover's dream. The linguine was cooked to perfection and paired well with the succulent gamberetti. The sauce was light and flavorful, enhancing the natural sweetness of the shrimp without overpowering it. **Dessert:** Cannolis The cannolis were a sweet and satisfying end to the meal. The pastry was crisp, and the filling was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. They were the perfect size to enjoy without feeling overly indulgent. **Best Part:** One of the highlights of dining at Spaghetto Davie is the ability to bring your own wine with no corking fees. This added a personal touch to the meal and made the experience even more enjoyable and affordable. Overall, Spaghetto Davie offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food and the added bonus of bringing your own wine. Highly recommended for a special night out or a casual dinner with friends.
Fresh delicious pasta, we had a pesto and zucchini bacon. Interesting place, nice atmosphere. Love the desert, we had a Torta a fetta. Definitely worth it to try. Prices are good too. Will go there again.
My fiance and I just wanted to say, "grazie mille" to Spaghetto Factory for opening up their doors to us off hours for her bridal shower, preparing delicious food, and most importantly, treating us like family. Our families and friends are still telling us how great the service and the food were. You can't go wrong!
It’s so cute and nice place. I love Italian cuisine. And this local restaurant with Italian owner and their own spaghetti production just amazes me 🫶🏻 highly recommended!
Real Italian food! Homemade like being at the NONNA’s house ( grandma’s house) Small place, cozy, unique. You also have the opportunity to take homemade pastas, sauces and desserts to go! It is a pasta factory pls restaurant. Definitely coming back! Their tiramisu is wordless!
HOMEMADE PASTA!!! They make their own pasta!!! Homemade sauce!!! You can't get any fresher than this. Fresh baked bread, fresh pasta, homemade gnocchi 😋. You can even purchase a bag to cook for whenever. Dinner was delicious 😋 😍 😊 I do recommend this place if you want a quiet romantic place.
Homemade pastas and sauce that you can combine to your liking. ABSOLUTELY delicious. They even bake their own artisan bread, imposible to say no to it. Daily specials and reasonable prices
Not much of a place to look at and a weird neighborhood for a restaurant, but you won't be disappointed. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food even better. We had just spent three weeks eating our way through Italy and this food was certainly on par, perhaps even better. Meat lasagna was amazing and better than we had in Italy. The truffle pasta as well. Bring your own bottle of wine though as they don't carry it. Good way to save a little money going out though. No cork fee.
Five stars is not enough. I went last night with my husband and 3-year-old son. We were welcomed immediately. The staff is very friendly as are the regulars who dine there. The food tastes exactly as it does in Rome, Italy. They don't use sugar and a lot of salt in their dishes. You don't come home thirsty or over stuffed. The prices are wonderful. It was the best best fried calamari I have ever had in my life. It was like butter. I cannot wait to go back again and try all of the other dishes. I didn't know about the bring your own wine so next time I will. This is a hidden gem in Broward county
This place is a true gem! They make their own pasta, and you actually can see the production. It's very nice. Delicious and fresh pasta! Authentic italiano!
I had lunch here and had an amazing meal. No nonsense restaurant alongside their pasta factory. Very pleasant Italian gentleman took our order looked over us. The pasta was homemade fresh and my lemon piccata chicken was delicious. The chicken Parmesan was Huge and flavorful. Great spot in an industrial area.
I love coming here! Authentic food with amazing prices. One of the best carbonaras I have ever tried, and have been to many famous places and still prefer this one. The atmosphere is good, the owner is very funny and nice. Bring your wine bottle and enjoy the dinner.
OMG what a place this one! It's a hidden gem. The pastas are just amazing, it's practically Italy. The portions are incredibly generous, we couldn't finish at least 2 of them. The cannoli's were the best we've ever had The waiter was spot on. He would give us time to enjoy our conversation and was available any time we needed something . The ambience inside the restaurant was very authentic and calming If there's any pasta in Florida you have to try, it's this place.
Came here for my husband’s birthday with a party of nine. Roberto, the owner, always makes you feel like his restaurant is home. Homestyle atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious.
Best authentic Italian pasta and food. Amazing staff has a family feeling to it in a layed back setting. Definitely worth looking up if you're in town
This is a jewel a true experience . A rare trip to Italy. We are french and went many time. It’s like home authentic caractériel and delicious Cannot get better then eating in the factory. Thank you for all these year of making a difference . You are truly unique .
This little hidden GEM is off of 441 & Oaks Rd in Davie in the warehouses. Best Sunday sauce outside of home that I've had. They even use country ribs like I do at home. The flavor was outstanding. Service was quick, food was great. They even sell their homemade pastas at the counter to take home. Highly recommended
Looking for authenticity in busy South FL can be challenging. Though its location is unassuming, Spaghetto brings authenticity to you. The chicken parm is so tender and juicy. I had this with the Alfredo pasta which was so rich and creamy. Super friendly service
Wow, I fount this gem in Davie. Such a great place to eat delicious, fresh, and authentic Italian food. They make their pasta in house, you can see the love and care they put behind every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Really recommend this place.....I got the Pasta Carbonara and the Fiocchetto Truffle...both amazing flavor and great portions.....
This hidden gem needs more attention. Hands down best Pasta in town! The staff is so nice and welcoming. And the PASTA!! Absolutely delicious cooked to perfection thats how a pasta has to be! We had the chicken lemon with spaghetti and it was the best spaghetti I tasted in a while! Really reminds me of food in Rome!! The calamari was a delicious appetizer. You can buy raw pasta from there (planing to next time). Spaghetto Kitchen you got a new fan!! Thank you!
I was fortunate enough to be recommended this place by colleagues at work. We chose to go today as I had been wanting to try it for a while now. It didn’t disappoint at all. The place is a little hidden from street view so just search on any maps app and you’ll find it no issue. It’s located in a plaza so parking was easy. We were seated super quickly, and our server Roberto, was everything you would want on a top notch service. I believe has something to do with management as well because his service was more than incredible, I asked for recommendations and the first thing he asked is what I liked, and based on that he recommended the type of pasta that would go perfectly with my choice. I chose the truffle pasta and decided to add chicken to it. It blended perfectly and it was so creamy my palate was delighted. I also tried the FIOCCHETTO PEAR & GORGONZOLA. Wow- you have to try it. You can tell pasta is made super fresh and with this perfection the food came out quickly. Prices are fair for the level of goodness. Didn’t try dessert this time, but definitely will go back. Ambience is quiet, great to have conversation. A must go.
Bring your own wine & settle in for good eats! Very kind service, relaxed and laid back. Food is delicious! Been there twice so far and will be back for more.
My wife and I stopped in today for lunch. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana w/spaghetti, I had the tortellini w/meat sauce. Everything was amazing, so fresh and clean tasting. Looking forward to going back.
We had lunch at the restaurant today, one of the best meals we ever tasted. The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was great. I really recommend this place for a great meal, good price and friendly staff.
The owner is very personable. I felt like I was in a small town in Italy. Exactly where my families from. What a treat. Hopefully you’ll be able to try the profiteroles!
Best pasta ever and at old school prices. I’ve only ordered uber eats but every time it’s amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend!!
Had a wonderful first experience. I want to order some simple ready made items for my party. The owner told me to simply call but I have been calling for days and get an answering machine directing me to the website. Is there a time when there is someone answering the phones?
BEST PASTA EVER! Their pasta is freshly made and made with so much love. I'm a big pasta lover and I have never ever loved pasta anywhere else besides my own home THIS MUCH. Their truffle pasta is to DIE for. I still dream of if.. And Roberto is just THE BEST.
Great place to have a good hearty meal. Roberto Owner is great!! take family or friends you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic atmosphere, it truly feels like a small business with tiny staff and authentic pasta. Excellent specials and fast service, as they need customers to exchange fairly quickly since their establishment is very small. Book the latest available reservation if you want to have a longer meal. No alcohol is available but you can bring your own!
AMAZING. Best pasta I’ve ever had in South Florida. Pappardelle al ossobuco earns the golden star. Highly recommend the pappardelle al ossobuco, burrata with prosciutto, and the seafood risotto. It is hidden within warehouses - so it’s hard to find for “walk-ins.” Also, they let you BYOB with no uncork fee. Very authentic Italian, come check it out soon!
The food is amazing. Fiorchetto pear & gorgonzola was fabulous. Our guest had black linguini with squid. My husband had that lobster ravioli and said it was great but he doesn't like the (slow) service and thinks Roberto should hire another server. Roberto is the Italian owner/chef/server and takes his time. Bring your own wine without fees, but come early or you may find the door locked!
This is one of our most favorite Italian places in South Florida! It’s a little hidden gem. We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and all made right there. The service is also great. I suggest you make a reservation as it does get busy. Also bring your own wine.
This hidden gem is close to 441 and 595 we ordered the Cabonara and scoglio which is a seafood pasta. So I looked at the The reviews online and I checked out the menu and based on the fact that they had squid ink pasta, truffle pasta and carbonara and you had to make reservations I figured it was fine dining when we got there it was a little hidden gem in the shopping center very casual and the prices were a steal. The owners English was ok and it was entertaining listening to the two men shouting across the room at each other in Italian. The service was good would comeback for sure. The couple next to our table said the truffle tortellini was the specialty so next time I will try that
Are You Kidding Me? Beautiful Italian cuisine right next to the pasta factory in an industrial park. Truly is a hidden gem of a cafe / trattoria. We were early Sat about 6 but werer fit in without a reservation but don't let the casual decor fool you, this is real deal. The owner may sound a little gruff when he's busy but is a sweetheart. Even gave us some fresh pasta as we left.. It is more Italian than Italian American. You would easily pay two times as much IF you could find the food. Tried the truffled "purses", lobster ravioli, salad nicoise (sorry, only plated photo)., and by the time we got to the excellent ricotta cheese (tasted a bit like a canoli) we had forgotten our photography until the last bite. We will absolutely be back, AND make reservations.
I want you to take your car keys, get into the car and visit this place today! THE BEST PASTA IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! And I’ve had quite a few!! Authentic, delicious! I honestly have never thought simple pasta can be that good. Amazing service as well Italian people at the kitchen, wholesome ingredients and lots of love
This is so good, the only problem is, there is no wine lol Esta buenisima la comida pero no hay vino, se siente bien organica la comida🤤
Taste like Italy. Coffee wasn’t great though. But best tasting pasta I’ve had In America. Not sure if it is true Italian wheat flour though as I am sensitive to glyphosate. Guy said they make a lot of pastas for carnival cruises *edit it was also crazy cheap for what you’re getting.
My friends found this location. I wanted to like it really bad because of how fresh everything looks. Location: it’s a hidden place. In a sketchy location at night because of how hidden is it. But once you get there, you’ll think you’re in a different world. You’ll never expect to see this in that plaza. The food: let’s just say, I had to go to the Olive Garden the next day to satisfy my cravings. While it was fresh and well prepared, the chicken Alfredo didn’t have taste. It was just simply missing. So definitely try something else. Owners: they seemed very nice and if they set the store up differently, you’ll think you’ve been transporters to Italy. Try it. Small and great location. I simply expected more.
First time visiting and dining here. I would give it 5 star's if it was rated strictly on the pasta. I had a seafood linguine dish and yes the pasta was delicious and definitely homemade. Mixed seafood with a white sauce was good, just wish the portion was a little more generous. I assume the seafood was prepackaged. My boyfriend had chicken cutlet Parm, FYI you have to order pasta separately it does not automatically come with it. Portion could have been better, only 1 small chicken cutlet that really didn't have much taste. Thank goodness the sauce was delicious. Atmosphere... More like a cafeteria in my opinion, florescent lights which are way too bright. Staff is polite. I like the idea you can BYOB of wine. I would probably order delivery next time. Again the pasta is very good, very authentic. Prices are good .
Edit after initial 1-star review: I had a free meal (After a mediocre takeout experience) and came back afterwards for my 3rd meal. The food was much better, and the real owner talked with me and explained that takeout isn’t the same as sitting down at his restaurant. They use a light sauce with their linguine with clams, and I had the porcini (Mushrooms) version with clams more recently. It was excellent, but some of the clams had broken shells, so in one of my bites, I crunched into one. Sadly, service was very slow, and there’s periodically 5-10 minutes where no one is checking tables and serving customers. They didn’t give me a spoon when I got my pasta both times. Also, the tables could be cleaner and higher-quality in terms of using napkins to support uneven table legs. Old Takeout Experience: I barely understood the owner when I called to place a to-go order. He was very rude and didn’t listen to half of what I said. He also told me that the Linguine with white clam sauce was $17 when the menu said it was 16. When I went to pick up my order, No one was at the front counter for at least 5 minutes. Finally, the owner arrived and didn’t say hi to me and make me feel welcome. I saw that the prices were different, so he admitted that he was wrong. I didn’t get any napkins, but when I wanted to ask for some, the owner was on the phone and just stared at me. 3 minutes later, he asked what I wanted, and when I asked for napkins, he stuck his hand into my bag and showed me the plastic fork/knife with a single napkin. When I ate my food, the salad had no dressing when I specifically asked for Balsamic. I asked for my food to be made spicy, and it was very bland and didn’t have red chili flakes cooked into the pasta. I waited months before giving this place one more chance, and my experience is similar to 6+ months ago. When I asked to speak to a manager, the owner said, “yes”. He is unprofessional, barely knows English, inconsiderate, and rude. Edit: I spoke with the owner again, and he apologized and wants me to come in again for a free meal. I’ll take him up on his offer soon and let ya’ll know if this place improves and is better in-house and not to-go.
Spaghetto offers a true Italian dining experience that left me thoroughly satisfied. The food was delicious, with the highlight being the freshly made pasta, showcasing the authentic taste of Italy. One of the unique aspects of Spaghetto is the hands-on approach of the owner, who takes orders and personally delivers them to your table, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. This attentive service is a testament to the dedication and passion behind the restaurant 💪🙌 Also, the owner gives you the option to bring your own wine, allowing you to pair your favorite bottle with their dishes. This flexibility enhances the overall dining experience, making it more personalized. While the experience was fantastic, I've rated it four stars as there's always room for improvement. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Spaghetto for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. I'll definitely be returning 💪🎉
It's definitely authentic and fresh. It's not a "kid-friendly" menu. You'll do fine if you speak Italian or are familiar with all the sauce and pasta types. My dish was not what I was expecting. Small portions and a little pricey I thought. I recommend ordering from the online menu (it has pictures and more choices) and picking up.
I ordered from this restaurant off ubereats, and this was the worst lasagna I ever tasted. The lasagna tastes water down. My boyfriend and I ordered a lot of food spent a lot of money and didn’t eat the food. We ordered lasagna, Chicken parmigiana, tortellini, and Gorgonzola. If it at least had a lil salt it could have been saved.
I was expecting huge flavors abounding in my mouth, but not so much 😏. Started off with the squid appetizer, it was very flavorful, but was more like soup with very small and few pieces of squid. I had the seafood pasta with white sauce, but the sauce was more garlic and oil and nothing else. My guests had the pesto sauce over pumpkin ravioli, the pesto was fantastico, as well as the pumpkin ravioli. Another guest had chicken parmigiana and was told it was very good. Another disappointment was the dessert, a ricotta cheese cake; two very dense layers of pie crust, top and bottom with a very thin layer of filling, and not very flavorful. Coffee was good. I love fettuccine Alfredo, so I had a small side order, it came with the cream, but I think they forgot the cheeses 😩. A great feature is, you bring your own bottle(s) of wine or ??? and not even a corking charge; thank goodness I called ahead and asked. Very nice staff and service. I'd give it another try and order differently.
We didn't know we were supposed to have reservations, but the staff still seated us (party of three) willingly. Food quality: 12/20 Was pretty average. My friends and I tried various combinations of their pastas. None of them left a lasting impression. Their tiramisu tastes a little like costco's. Surrounding environment: 5/5 Nice, clean restaurant. Service: 3/5 We didn't know we were supposed to have a reservation, but the server generously seated us. That being said, there were staff members in the background arguing, which left a really bad impression. Ease of access: 3/5 'Twas a short journey to find this place.
We visited this place which is tucked away behind some industrial plaza so if was hard to find, there is ample parking- and even though the plaza seemed closed, the restaurant is open and ready to greet you. The gentleman was very cordial, we had found out you could bring your own wine bottle and they would allow you to drink there so they provided us with glasses and were happy to provide a corkscrew as well! All in all the food was good, nothing spectacular, but for what we got the prices were very competitive and we left with our tummys full and a smile in our faces so do go get some good Italian pasta dishes: and BYOW!! Enjoy!
We really wanted to like this quirky little restaurant. We really didn't. It's an interesting place with a warehouse look but a fun feel and the service made you smile...you felt like you were in Italy with the waiter giving instructions. We liked that part. The food....it was so so. We didn't realize we should bring our own wine so we got coffee and water. My husband loved the coffee. What was really disappointing was the tiramisu. We got it to go and based our decision on the photo of the product. When we got home we actually laughed. It's not anything at all like what's presented in the photo. I shot a couple of pictures with my Iphone beside it to show the size. We probably, based on this trip, wouldn't go back. Update...I thought I was pretty fair in my review for how we felt. I said really nice things along with a concern we had. I was not all that thrilled with the response, but we're all allowed to have our opinion and obviously the owner has expressed his. We thank him for his "concerned" feedback.
8 months ago we had a couple of great experiences in this place with good service and good food. All of that had changed today. The waiter was rude, impolite and not helpful. My spagetti had no taste and definately didn't worth $20. We asked for water and got bottles for $2 each. Then, their credit card communication was down. They were very agressive about it and didn't even apologize. I left the restaurant knowing that i would never step in.
This place is hard to find as it is in an industrial area and it lacks signage. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable. The atmosphere was simple but welcoming. The pasta was good however, the sauce was bitter and high in acid. I also found my food lacked salt.
This used to be my go to pasta place. But after today, I’ll never go back. I ordered via Uber Eats and it was picked up and delivered quickly. Sadly, after having the bucatini cacio e pepe, I became really sick and ended up in the bathroom for 45 minutes. My mom, who got the linguine with pesto, barely ate it because the pasta was overcooked (keep in mind she loves her pasta soft) and had a funny taste. When I called to let them know to check their ingredients as maybe the cheese or milk is bad, they got angry at me saying they use the freshest ingredients. That’s great but I got sick so evidently something was bad.
We ordered 2 meat boxes for delivery, which include: 1 bolognese, 1 carbonara, 2 Parmigiano chicken, 2 salads, and biscotti. Instead, we got 2 carbonara, and on the side in a tiny container, we got ground meat in red sauce. Not sure what they wanted us to do - add that on top of carbonara? The pasta itself was extremely overcooked. To the point that it becomes a mash potatoes in your mouth without chewing. Of course, carbonara is not even close to Italian recipe. The portions are small, if you get pasta without meat on the side, you'll be hungry.. Biscotti is so - so too. For $35 each, it's extremely overpriced. It's so hard to find a good pasta in South Florida, especially after vacation in Italy.
Was super excited to go here after seeing all the reviews. I was supremely disappointed. I will start and say the actual noodles they make are fresh are happen to be very good. Also the young man working there who I assumed was the owners son was also very nice. Those would be the 2 positive takeaways from my experience. I went with my 2 little girls for a daddy daughter date. We got there and the young man starts to seat us and then who I assume to be his dad and owner aggressively kept telling us one second and escorted us back out the dining room to wait for an additional 20 min. Wasn’t a big deal but he is quite overbearing. I ordered chicken Marsala for me, meatballs and chicken parm for the kiddos. Had I been more analytical of the reviews ahead of time I would have seen that nobody raves about the meat and only the pasta. The Marsala was just plain gross. The chicken was nasty and the sauce had no flavor. I ate one bite and that was more than enough. I would be surprised if the meatball was fresh and not frozen. Like I said the noodles were very good. They did offer me something else which was nice but I declined cause my kids were done eating almost so that is on me. The young man said he hopes they do better the next time which was good but the owner tried to say that everyone loves his Marsala. If you sort the reviews by date you will see that is not true and many people have issue with the non pasta dishes. Lastly, each dish came with pasta and I opted for side salad instead since my kids had enough for us to share. They removed my chicken from the bill but then charged me for the side salad. Thought that was unnecessary. If I were them I would not offer any non pasta dishes since everyone seems to be happy with those and not the food. I saw the lasagna on the table next to me and looked great. I probably won’t be back as I don’t love pasta so much that it would be worth going back. Oh you also have to bring your own wine as they do not offer any and they did not say anything about that so that was also annoying. I ended up stopping at Publix and getting a bottle of wine and wings so worked out for me. Was 10x better.
I really try to give the benefit of the doubt and normally if some thing isn’t very good, I just don’t rate the place. Tonight was over the top bad though. Spaghetto factory on oaks road in davie tonight. First the good…The orange crush, water, coke and bread were very good. Daughter’s tortellini was cooked properly, alfredo sauce had a good flavor but was EXTREMELY soupy and runny. The presentation was very nice too. It looked great! That’s it The chk parm was not seasoned at all but worse was it seemed like it was marinated in the sauce after it was fried because the entire thing was hard inside and gummy outside. It had a really bizarre texture. The spaghetti with it was almost cooked enough to be considered al dente…but not quite. My Marsala tasted like a brown gravy with not a hint of Marsala flavor. I love spice…love arrabiata…The angry sauce but this was so much more than just red pepper. It was like a scoop of cayenne was added. It was inedible. I ate the chicken because it wasn’t bad, just brown jarred gravy… not Marsala, and our waitress never returned. Ever. We just sat and talked and joked about how bad everything was and were wondering when she was going to return. She finally did after about 20 minutes asking if we wanted boxes. There were 2 bites gone from the chicken only because we each tried it and 1 bite from each pasta. The picture is what was left I told her of the problems, that the food was not prepared properly and she told us to pay up front. We followed her to the front where she told the manager about our food, then I told him about our food and he said “sorry” and presented me the bill. I asked if he understood that more than half of our food was not good and the waitress disappeared for 20 minutes and if he understood that if he should do something about our bill. He did nothing. I paid in cash while informing him that because of the really poor service, bad food and his lack of response that we won’t return. He said nothing. Just looked at me and we left. Amazing. Ordered spinach and ricotta and ravioli was delivered. Canolis and tiramisu were pathetic. Potions were Costco shopping sample size. Tried to contact the restaurant due to food allergy concerns and nobody answered. Greeted by a message saying they were too busy to take calls.
Got a take out lasagna (meat lasagna), and while the bread was delicious, we found the lasagna very heavy and acidic, no white sauce present, only meat and tomato sauce. There was kind of a bitter after taste, and my husband said it was the worst lasagna he's ever had. I'm sure a lot of people like it, but unfortunately we didn't. Just so heavy. We were hoping to love it and make it a regular Sunday night thing. ***UPDATE - got a kind response from the owner, so we will definitely try another dish - thank you!
I went here a long time ago and I forgot to write the review. I really wanted to enjoy this food and I thought the place looked authentic, but I got frozen meatballs. There is no way those were handmade with love. I don’t know how any self-respecting italian can serve frozen meatballs.
Tonight we had a delivery of Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms, meat lasagna and spaghetti with pink sauce. Everything was lukewarm. The pasta was over cooked badly and there was zero flavor. The lasagna tasted old and sour. Don’t waste your money or your time. I went thru a 3rd party delivery service and the restaurant told them that the food was made correctly and they would not be issuing a refund. I would not feed this to my dogs. $60 in the garbage.
This is a joke and a disgrace to Italian food. Gnocchi was the most disgusting pasta i've ever had. It was so over cooked it was mashed potatoe not potato pasta. $19 for this was a disgrace and ridiculous. The sauce was watered down to the fullest. You want real Italian for to Pizza Lovers off knob hill and sunrise.
We ordered food from this restaurant and it was an awful experience, I couldn’t even eat my spaghetto Cacio e Pepe with shrimps, the only flavor I felt was black pepper. And the lava cake?? It’s a joke? Are you kidding me…??? I’m leaving the photo here to verify all the bitter experience with this restaurant.
Ordered meat lasagna, got gnocchi with mushrooms. Two dinners ordered, got one set of utensils and one piece of bread. No butter. Side of broccoli was not steamed well and tough to cut and eat. Bucatini was ok with carbonara. Door Dash was asked to hand order to me, left it outside the room and we were waiting in the lobby. Food got cold. For $55 I expected a lot more.
Do not believe in the reviews. I am so sick of restaurants screwing over their uber eats customers. Not a slice of bread or garlic roll, pasta was worse than boxed pasta, made with zero love. Go elsewhere and save your stomach. What this restaurant fails to learn is that the same people on Eats app also go into the restaurant. Never again.
Customer service needs work. I ordered online that had a deal buy one get one half off for a pasta dish, so I got two. I get there and they say they do not have it. They gave me another pasta dish, made me pay full price, and only gave me ONE. Expensive for the amount of pasta I received too. They could have at least informed me saying they do not have what I ordered before I drove all the way there and update their online menu accurately.
I’m going to start this review by saying it doesn’t relate to the food at all. I’m all about customer service and was completely turned off by the way the owner (I’m assuming) was beyond RUDE to the person who was there doing door dash. He was using the bathroom and no one was at the front at the time. So he went and used it like any human would who had to go. As soon as he comes out he’s confronted by an irate man saying “you have to ask me” before you use it. As if he were talking to a child. I was actually looking at the menu to be a potential customer but seeing you talk to people with no respect was unacceptable. Someone coming to deliever food to YOUR customer! If you do plan to come in to eat, just make sure you ask the angry guy to use the bathroom first smh As a reply to the owner, it’s understandable that you want to be cautious with what happened Sunday, but to take that out on a stranger that had nothing to do with it, is disheartening. Especially as a first time customer where first impressions is key. I wish you all the best.
