Love this place we go there regularly however they brought us the wrong sizes on our drinking ice cream and then when I told them I had not paid they made it complicated for me to pay and never brought back our larger drinks and ice creams so maybe just a bad day for them
Great burgers, love their potatoe tots, and cherry limeaide with extra cherries. It's a great place to eat. Especially if I know someone who is making the food, yumm! It's also a clean place.
I had a cheerful cashier. She was quick and courteous. The tater tots were delicious. Clearly their grease was hot and fresh bc the tater tots would have tasted bad if it wasnt. The popcorn chicken was filling and everyone loves a good sonic drink

Stopped to pick up a cheeseburger and this burger was really good. I used the app and the burger came out fast. I would eat here again.
This morning I'm giving SONIC 5 STARS received food panoply carhop was full of smiles and respectful, the thing that impressed me the most. Was the young lady that took my split order was very professional and got it right the first time.the cook also got it right the first time
Really enjoyed everything we have ever tried, but don't like that they reserved so many parking spaces for the people who pick up pre orders. It's not good for others who have to park else where.
I drive by here a lot but haven't ever stopped, I'm glad I did. The lady there was so helpful when i couldn't get logged in for a mobile order. She was so sweet, and checked on my order and got me checked in. The food was made correctly.,and was definitely worth the stop
I like this Sonic location. They get my orders correct. Even when they forgot to bring me my bag of ice the other day, I was able to come back the next day and pick it up with no issues. I love that some of the car hoppers wear skates too. I'd have to say this is the best Sonic location I've been to, and I'm always going to different ones. It amazed me how quickly they got my children's meals out. Again, everything was correct too. That's the most important part, right. Keep up the awesome service Dayton Sonic. Y'all are rocking it.
the food is really good, the ice cream is amazing at sonic and also the service is great to have someone come up to you and bring you your food is nice
This Sonic is very clean, they are well staffed, efficient and courteous. The food is good and always hot and fresh, and of course all the great drinks and desserts. And even when busy this place keeps the lines moving. I have been to a lot of Sonics in my life and this is one of the best around.
They have a great menu, so much so that I sometimes have to take a few minutes to make a decision on what I want to get , the car hops are usually friendly and prompt at getting my order out and love the various drinks offered and I love sonic ice, just recently learned that you can get bags of ice from them
Sonic Drive-In for breakfast the burritos were good but the the hot peppers were bad but the burritos were great.
Amazing experience. They always make my coffee just right by one particular waitress. Never messed up on my eyes coughing and I live for my iced coffee so that's all there is to say.
Sonic has the ability to satiate your hunger when Jack in the box let's you down. The food can be a bit greasy🤣. But I survive on nicotine, caffeine, sugar, salts and fats. Sonic doesn't give all of that to me: but what they do provide gets me through the next few hours!
Food was hot, the 2nd time it came out. Food us usually good, just check your bag before you drive off. They are really good at correcting the mistakes. I'll try them them again.
Fastest Sonic I've ever been to. They don't give free refills, though. Many other Sonics do. It's silly that they don't. If you did, people have more incentive to stay and eat instead of leaving. If they stay and press the button for a refill, they might get more food or order dessert. Silly of this one not to do as many others do. Service was great and food was perfect.
I used the drive thru, service and food was as expected, however, the atmosphere could have been better, as I was in my truck which could have been cleaner- gotta love these survey questions.
As far as fast food goes, Sonic is one of the top choices for me. Personally, it's a bit more expensive than I would like it to be but that's just my opinion. Now the eats..... The eats are fantastic for the most part, and the drinks and slushes are excellent! Hit it up between 2 and 4 for half price drinks & slushes and after 8pm for what priced ice creams. Just putting it out there..... 👍
Only true fast food in Onalaska and it is the place to go for drinks and floats but like all fast food it isn't up to high quality. Still I gave them 4 stars for area as they are fast, affordable, and have a large variety of things to eat and drink.
I saw only 1 lady who was running here n there taking orders handing orders and delivering order in cars. Felt so sorry for her. It took long time for everyone to get their orders. Surprise that only 1 person
Sonic is a great place for a late night snack or even just a tasty craving filler. The food is pretty good and there is always a drive-in to fill. Service is quick and the prices are decent.
We ordered a quick snack late at night right before close. The service was still good, unhurried, and the food perfect.
I swung throught the drive through the other day and got a coney combo. I was really craving the chili cheese that goes on them. The food came out fairly quick. My complaint however is that the middle of the hot dog was actually cold. I like to eat so I went ahead and ate it and got over it but still lol.
Not one of the better sonics. The kids here just can't seem to get it done. Press the button and waited 6 minutes. Got a drink that tasted terrible, sent it back and got a terrible tasting replacement.
Food was good but strawberry limeade had strawberries on the outside of the cup and make a mess of the cup holders and our hands. No ketchup for the corn dog.

Usually food & service is great here, but got dinner about 5pm yesterday. Burger was fine, but hotdog was chewy (like been done a while) & tots and fries were not freshly made ...not warm at all and so crispy, like had been sitting in warmer for a while.
We enjoy Sonic occasionally, and they send unlimited emails to use the app. so after using it a few days ago, I was disappointed that they didn't get the order correct. Ist she said we just got the order, it will be a few minutes. That was totally fine. I wasn't in a big hurry, but when I order things like tomatoes on a burger and they don't put it on its frustrating because they don't forget to charge you extra for the add ons and simple things like no mustard it appears that they're in such a hurry they can't read the ticket. I got a medium order of onion rings, and there were four onion rings lol for the price I paid. I was a bit surprised. I guess the positive side is the food was actually hot even though one of the burgers wasn't eaten because it was not prepared correctly and this was around 10:45 am so they weren't busy. Very disappointing 😞
They had a guy there collecting $$ for charity. Which is a good thing. But they had him in the drive the line. Everything. Go t so slow and backed up. O IT WAS PATHETIC. They should have had him at one of the stalls were people can pull in and get out of the way.
We couldn't hear the person taking our order over the music they were piping outside. So, eventually, someone came out and took our order. Their card reader wouldn't read my card so, they took it inside to pay. Then, part of our order was missing. She went back to get it when we noticed we had no straws. When she came back out, she didn't have straws. Sigh. Not my best Sonic experience.
The monitor is to high the passenger can't see menu. The monitor didn't work. Two of us. I got 10 pieces of chicken nuggets. I received 8 chicken nuggets & 1 ranch dressing.
The hamburgers looked like they had been thrown together. The hamburger half off the bun and condiments messy on it. We asked them to fix it because they put tomato on my son's burger after telling them three times not to put it on there. He is allergic to tomato. They did not put the stickers on the burgers to show the difference in ours. So I sent both back to be fixed properly.
A modern drive-in with a non-functional intercom blasting out the "What? What? Could you please repeat?" at 90 decibels until she finally came to the car. The #6 beef hot dog was pretty good, enabling me to move the score up to two stars!
Ordered tater tots and some cheese sticks at a stall. After 10 to 15 minutes and watching several cars go through the drive-thru I called asking where my order was. They said they'd check and of course it was on it's way. Either it was sitting under the heat lamp or drive-thru's get priority. Poor poor service.
The Food is almost always good but lately the service has gotten worse and worse. We started by going to one of the stands and pressed the red button, 10 minutes later we got no answered. Then we drove to the drive thru, no matter how close we got to the speaker, even with my mom yelling our orders, they cannot hear us somehow and made us drive forward. A worker came out to take our order and before we could even get to the second order, we immediately commented how they had nothing to write the order down to remember. Then we FINALLY made our order after she got it wrrited down. If you like the food here and don't mind the atrocious wait time, definitely come here at Sonic. But if you want something fast, I suggest going to either the McDonald's or Burger King nearby.
Ordered 2 combo meals, had to tell them at the window it was 2 combo meals, despite the fact they charged me for both. Got home and didn't have the onion rings in 1 combo meal! They've been steadily going hill over the last several years
I used to love Sonic. There was a time when you could have good quality food from here. This is not the case anymore. The only thing that we order here is drinks. The food is just so inconsistent. I hope in the future it will improve.
We got 2 blizzard and a milkshake, nothing was blended... they put candy on bottom and ice cream over top and sprinkled candy on top. That's it! the milkshake my daughter said the first few big drinks were just milk.. think the manager needs to have a few words with the employees.... but this day in age nobody wants to work anyways. 🙄
Ordered a SuperSONIC burrito, and they didn’t know they sold those until I pointed it out on the menu. Then they gave me a totally different burrito…. Also the mozzarella sticks came without the marinara. Zero for two getting my order right. The girl serving our food seemed friendly at least, so will bump up to 2 stars, but won’t be back.
Was not very happy with my visit. Its took around 25 minutes to get an ice cream and a burger out. Several people in the drive through line but only a couple in stalls by far not enough to go with the wait. Ice cream turned out good. But the burger was covered in onions when asked for no onions. Receipt also stated no onions but at that point wasn't waiting around to get it fixed.
Visited the Sonic in Dayton a few days ago to get a milkshake. They struggled with getting a simple order of one med. Vanilla shake no whip cream nor cherry and one medium. Carmel shake no whip cream no cherry. It took them the 2nd time to get a simple milkshake order correct.
Older staff members usually polite and accurate with orders, younger staff either lacks training or just don't care about service. Will spend 15 minutes reading back the wrong order information and still end up sending out the wrong items, then they act like you're bothering them when you want what you actually ordered ..
The food isn't bad as long as they give you all your food. I shouldn't have to make sure all the food that I ordered is in my bag! Went back to get my daughter ice cream and the girl on the intercom was obviously new. The line was on the highway, when I ordered I had to keep correcting her because she was getting everything wrong, only 2 items, and there was long pauses like she was searching for the buttons. Someone else should have taken over until the line shortened!!
Honestly not that impressed with this sonic. Food quality and service are both a little worse than okay but they are not terrible. Would just go here if you were picking up a quick slushie or soda but nothing else.
Gotta do better. Ordered 20 mins ahead and stayed an extra 15 minutes waiting for my food. Wasn’t even busy. Lots of confusion and a lack of urgency. Can’t make a simple chicken sandwich with tomato onion cheese and jalapeños, it was missing ingredients, 2 drinks a tea and a sprite. Not even a big order.
Good food. Terrible customer service. Ordered a lemon cream cooler. Got a Lemonade float. Ordered a grape slush. Got a grape milk shake. Idk how they keep messing up their iconic drinks. They're super simple. The customer service support is absolutely horrible. This happened on different visits. They're just not good at drinks. Food sure. Drinks no.
I just got home & was excited to have a burger & onion rings. I ordered a #1 with mustard & NO cheese. What I got was a hamburger patty & mustard - then the onion rings and the burger was COLD & the rings was burnt. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. It went straight into the garbage.

02/18 EXTREMELY RUDE person taking our order and didn't care how or what she said to us. Tried to order slushies and she didn't understand the order. She kept on replying horribly rude and kept telling us our total every time we would order a slushie and we weren't even done with the whole order. She needs to be taken off the drive thru.
Terrible,we were there yesterday, ordered 3 double cheeseburger and my hubby said if he can add mayo ,large onion rings, mozzarella sticks,caramel and cheesecake shake w oreo,so we come home that we will be eat, double cheeseburger without mayo,dry,just slice pickle,large onion 6 pieces,but 2 really small,shake chescake no taste,just frozen,my hubby wanted go back,never again
Got BBQ chicken bites there hard as a rock. My tattor tots cheese was rotten sour taste and stunk. Waste of 13 bucks I'm not going back.
Got charged two different about amounts on my credit card .For one item.Said they don't make mistakes.If charge is still on in3 days.Then they would address.Thats sad.They didn't have a problem with taking the money out of my account tho.So we will see in 3 days.
We ordered ahead with the app, 15 minutes after checking in a car hop came out and said that they didn't have any onion rings. They should have told us much sooner. I requested the entire order be canceled.
Thus place is a joke you can't order a half lemonade half unsweetened tea on the app and normally they will do it for the app price at the store but not today what a waist of a lunch break
If you want delectable crispy bacon save yourself the trouble and avoid this place asked for well done bacon but received floppy cold bacon instead on top of waiting for the food for over 25 minutes (we had a breakfast sandwich and burrito) we were then greeted by kaylee which dropped our straws and offered to bring us new ones but after 5 minutes of patiently waiting never delivered the straws I’ve been to this location twice and both visits were horrible
I put one 🌟 for my past experience. I didn't like the way the manager talked and hosted the persons who provides the way for them to feed their kids. If you have a problem choose better work.
If you enjoy waiting 30 minutes for two drinks that are completely watered down and made wrong to top it off this is the best spot for you to go to.

Whoever the franchisee of this store is should have their franchise revoked in my opinion. We ordered two drinks and they were so disgusting we just poured them out and went to the Sonic in Dayton Texas. This store continually has broken signs and sometimes you will wait for very extended periods even for a simple order like a drink.
Went to order chicken tenders, their menu clearly states that a 3pc (tenders only no combo) is 5.29. They are charging me over 8 dollars for it even though I clearly looked at the menu with an associate and addressed the issue with them. I suggest you verify order prices before ordering from them. With all of this being said, the service isn't too bad and the food is ok as well.
Can't even fill an order right. Its happened multiple times. Every Wednesday. Ordered a southwest crunch wrap for the 2nd week in a row, not made right. Do the employees know how to or take the orders right anymore?
I wish I could give a negative star review - this was sent to the general manager and the District manager: Your Highway 90 Dayton Sonic is awful with awful attitudes from the girls here. I ordered two shakes at about 9 and I had to push the button to talk to someone again after it said it was on the way 25 minutes later, Lori brought one out and when I said there was 2 she said yeah I know our machine is broken and we’re waiting for it to start running again (? They brought me one shake but not the other??) which could have been said when she said she was bringing them out when I called into the store again to see why it had been 10 minutes and no shakes. You have one at the window gossiping and throwing the f bomb every other word about not making enough money within ear shot of where I’m sitting. …Lol you can’t make this up, I’m sitting here writing you and listening to another employee talking to a car next to me about how she wanted to “dump the tray of food” into someone’s car for being upset with her service earlier. All while I’m still waiting for a shake for now 40 minutes. But let’s raise the minimum wage and make sure to tip because everyone is shoving that down throats that the service industry doesn’t get paid enough. This. Is. Why.
This is the worst Sonic I have ever gotten drinks from. It took 10 minutes to get 2 drinks. We asked for an ocean water with easy ice and an UNSWEET tea. We received a sweet tea and an ocean water with heavy ice. Do yourself a favor and go to another sonic who will actually get your order right.
I told the lady, "Please don't mess up my husband's burger, because I would have to hear about it the whole way back." No onions & no cheese. Please put mayo & mustard. And the food wasn't hot. Oh, she even took it back because it had onions. Second burger had no mustard & not hot. Tater tots were not hot. Drink was good.
I ordered my food. They brought me three medium cold hard gummy fries. I asked them for fresh fries. They brought me a bag with the same cold hard gummy fries. I just gave up and came home. The kids were like what’s wrong with these fries? Terrible and unnecessary 😖

We order from here weekly and no matter how many times you ask for the bacon to be cooked until crispy it simply never happens. I suppose you should expect floppy cold meat that has the appearance of bacon. Nobody cares how you want your food just eat the trash that's given to you because you have no say over how you spend your own money !!!
I dont know who is working tonight (May 29, 21) but not only did I have to repeat myself 20 times my whole order was still wrong. I repeated multiple times no cheese, asked for a sweet tea.. multiple times.. received a burger with cheese on it && unsweetened tea. 🤦♀️ clearly training is necessary cause damn.
I ordered a hot dog with onion rings and a oreo blast. The hot dog came out green the onions in my onion rings where soggy and old. My blast tasted like it had expired milk with old stale oreos, and to top it all off my dr pepper was very water downed and tasted like chemicals. Not worth the stop and should be shut down. And yes I have pictures of my food.
Ok, I try not to leave bad reviews. However, I've given the Sonkc in Dayton, TX so many chances and every time I order off the app they screw up my order or I have to wait 45mins to an hour once I get there to get my order. On top of that the food isn't even hot at that point. 😒 I finally left a review on their site and the manager did try and reach out to me but I didn't take the call. They cannot make this better for me and I didn't want to be hateful on the phone because I was still upset over the ordeal when she tried calling. I don't want free food from them or anything like that, I want the quality of service and the food to match the prices we all pay for!
The last 5 times I’ve ordered from sonic they have messed up the order and just recently gave us a whole order of burnt popcorn chicken I will not be eating here again

I don't have enough space in this box to tell you my complaints about this Sonic. All I will say is those very young employees who are working the drive thru window DEFINITELY need more training. I'm surprised I haven't stroked out there in the sonic drive thru dealing with them. Every time I have gone, my order is wrong, the final straw was some girl charged my debit card 6 different times just trying to get the order right. When she handed me all the receipts I about fell out. She looked at me shrugged her shoulders and said "what" THAT'S when I wanted to pull her thru her little window. But I refrained lol and I said "Lord give me Patience, because if you give me Strength I'm gonna need Bail money". So that was my last time. Thanks but No
Simple order : 2 cheese burgers no onions. Large chilli cheese tatter tot. What we received: 2 burgers no cheese and chili cheese fries . Not a very hard order. Good luck going there, as for us we will not be returning. . Thank you
Order was not correct she couldn't hear us to take the order correctly then we repeated it five times still got an inaccurate order and then on the corn dogs we asked for ketchup and mayonnaise they didn't put that in there we had to wait to get that it's just a horrible location the drinks taste disgusting very unprofessional staff. The corn dogs tasted horrible like they were cooked in old grease.🤮🤮🤮. Tried calling the store for 30 minutes with no answer and there was nobody there they were waiting on we were the only ones in the Drive-Thru except for the car in front of us that tore out of there because they were mad

This Sonic needs serious improvement. My food came out cold and poorly prepared, the service was slow and unorganized, and the atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming at all. I expected better quality and consistency.
The last 6 years I've been in Dayton i have tried this Sonic periodically. Each time thinking oh my gosh how could they mess this up. Went tonight to get chili cheese dogs instead of burgers. A foot long and a 6 inch. I also ordered a large coke easy ice with vanilla. For starters, the drive thru window ordering station needs to be tore down and gotten rid of. They can never hear you. Pull straight to the window don't even waste your breath yelling cause it won't work for echoing reasons or whatever they say as an excuse. I ordered at the window per carhop's request. Ordered my food. I double checked that she got the easy ice in the coke. She confirmed yes. The coke has more than half a cup of ice. The 6 inch hot dog is either very very very overcooked or just very old. See the picture..gross. it is rare anyone here actually cares. I try every now and then just to see. This Sonic has given the worse service I have ever had at any sonic between multiple states. I'm not wasting my time calling to complain. I don't want free food. Dayton might be better just not having a Sonic period due to the bad name this location is giving the Sonic brand. I am.not exaggerating when I type that this is just an awful location. I hope someone actually important sees this but then again not sure what a difference it would make. Huffman is good, eagle drive is good... others are good. I love sonic. But this one. 🫤😶
I tried calling to discuss the issue but they won’t answer. Just bought a burger from here and the top bun is crispy and hard. I just don’t understand. So now I have no top bun for my burger. Tots was barely warm also.
Waist of time and money trying to give this location a chance. Made an online order, after an hour waiting in line I gave up trying to get it. I personally watched a dozen or more potential customers drive off after wait just to get service. The only reason I waited as long is because they already had my money. This location should just be closed down.
Food was cold,got the order completely wrong and yeah I get places get busy but that shouldn't mean the food should suck
i’m not even the type of person to write a review, but omfggg this place actually sucks compared to sonic’s around the dayton are. the service was bad, they held my card until the food was done, which is just weird…. the girl who i did the payment through was so miserable and the food tasted so old it wasn’t even worth going back and getting “fresh” food…very disappointed
I've just stopped coming to this sonic from the constant disappointment. Incredibly slow service, and half the time they walk out to take your order since the intercoms don't work. Problem is, they never actually write the order down, so even if you do get it, it's always wrong. No one has a good attitude, and no one wants to actually do their job.
Had a line of cars in front of me, pulled up and all I heard was “hello?” And a lot of background conversation. Tried to place my order and then proceeded to wait almost ten minutes with no response. Honked the horn, one employee walked out to a vehicle and saw me sitting there waiting and still nothing. Yes I was angry when I left. Then just got a “what’s your problem…” look from the person working the window.hopefully the people behind me got their food! @sonic drive in - Maybe after all the bad reviews of this particular franchise location YOU should contact the owner of that franchise instead of having customers that are already aggravated about the dismal service do it.
Where do I start!? It took 15 minutes to receive my order, which wasn't real bad, but when I got my order... The tots and goofy fries were stale and cold. Each one of our burgers had different vegetables on them, but none of them all the way, and that's how we ordered them. They all tasted horrible! I don't know what they are doing in there but you can tell it's under terrible management, no need to warn us with your sign! It was half price burger Tuesday and I'll never go to sonic again here in Dayton, Texas! It was pathetic!
The lady on speaker kept ignoring me and incorrectly saying what I had ordered (medium vanilla shake) she kept saying large and that's everything I said no added another drink and silence. And the poor kid at the windows was like what was ur order again I'm so sorry. So she didn't put it in system. There were unicorn drinks and other blushes and shakes made before I got my order and I only got three drinks cuz they completely forgot my 4th drink so the poor kid made sure I didn't pay for that drink .
Tried drive in and hit the button 5x but took aver 10 mins to say there was a problem when two employees went on break but drive though was flowing just fine. When to advise of the problem the car hop was ride, said to go somewhere else because my ticket would be close to 100 for my employees but thanks
The worst sonic is in Dayton, Texas. Waited over 30 mins for food a kids cheeseburger with tater tots and 3 corn dogs and a medium Mozzarella sticks. Food finally gets out to the truck 30 mins and cold to the touch. Before they could swipe my card I push the button and told them “food was cold” another 10 mins passed and still haven’t received my debit card so I ask for a manger. He straight up said “you’re not getting your card back till I get my food” That escalated big time. I was like “you go get my card and we will do an even swap at the same time” he didn’t want to. Then here comes another manger with my card apologizing. I did give the COLD food back!!!!
Never get my food right but I always give another chance today was the last straw. Sat there for about 30 mins today. Ordered chicken tenders & fries, got to window paid the employee gave me a hotdog & fries I told her I did not order that so they corrected the order. Next meal that came out was chicken & tots, requested that they take away tots & give me the fries that I ordered. Finally chicken & fries but the fries were old, burnt, & cold as pictures! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
