JB's on the Beach continues to be one of my absolute favorite spots, and I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times. What truly sets this place apart is its amazing location right on the water. The views are simply unbeatable, creating a perfect backdrop for any meal. The vibes are always fantastic, with a lively and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. A huge draw is their live music on Saturdays, which enhances the experience, especially during their popular brunch. Speaking of brunch, it's a must-try! They offer specialty brunch options and, of course, delicious mimosas to complete the experience. The food is consistently really good. On my last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the steak with eggs, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband also loved his meal! Whether you're looking for a delightful brunch with live music, a delicious dinner, or just a great spot for drinks with an incredible view, JB's on the Beach is highly recommended. It truly offers a complete package of delicious food, great drinks, and an unbeatable beachfront ambiance.

Best salmon bowl I’ve had in a really long time. It was simply exquisite- the salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portion was just right. Beachfront view is really nice- although the inside is quite nice as well. My waitress was super friendly and helpful!

Multiple level inside physical outdoor seating. Valet parking only. Expensive parking lot accross street and less expensive but often full parking lot next door. Very attractive space and view. Food good and well presented. Good service. A lot of seafood choices.

Can’t beat the view, food and service is always great! We ordered the coconut shrimp as an app, Janet’s lobster & shrimp salad and a lunch size blackened Mahi-Mahi. First time trying the tiramisu, it was yummy.

Excellent restaurant. Great service. BJ was a sweetheart and great server. Awesome staff. Super clean. Views of the beach are divine. My lobster shrimp salad was out of this world. Mango smoothie - yummy yummy yummy. Views of the beach... breathtaking. Parking is a challenge but they do have valet. Will definitely be back next time I visit Florida🌊⛱️🏖

Great views, staff was friendly, drinks off the chart. Everyone was happy with their food, we got a little of everything. You will spend a little more here, but certainly worth it.

Just wanted something light to eat while letting the ocean breeze take all of my cares away. And I found it here. Started with ceviche. Then I moved on to a side salad before having salmon and plantains. Such a great place to enjoy yourself!

My wife and I were in the area visiting friends and they mentioned that JB’s was a must place to go for great food and a view of the ocean. They were right on both reasons. As soon as you enter the front door & you see the waves crashing the beach, you get the feeling that this restaurant will be a special place for a relaxing meal with an experience. The restaurant is primarily a seafood establishment but there are many other items to satisfy your appetite if you’re not in the mood for seafood. Looking at the portion sizes of the food coming out of the kitchen, I was glad that I was hungry. But even having a big appetite, I could only muster eating half of the fish n’ chips. In one word the portion size was HUGE! It was the LARGEST plate of this delectable I had ever encountered The starters of Calamari and Lobster Flatbread were scrumptious. A good way to start the gastronomic night of food off on the right foot. The food came out quickly after you placed your order and the service was outstanding. Rebecca our server was fantastic in explaining the menu and answering our questions pertaining to the menu. Too full for desert we ventured out to look at the surf and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the breeze that had started. All in all it was a fantastic evening out with special friends and great food. If you are in the area I would highly recommend JB’s as a must place to go. Oh and bring a BIG appetite.

JBS is an excellent place right in front of Deerfield Beach, with indoor space for those looking for a more elegant and sophisticated experience and outdoor space for those seeking a tropical atmosphere by the sea. My husband and I went there for a late Sunday lunch and had a great experience. For white wine lovers, the beachfront atmosphere is perfect for enjoying excellent selections from the wine list such as Costa do Sol (Portuguese green wine) and Squeeling Pig (Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand). My choice paired perfectly with the Dynamite Scallops starter, which was served in a shell with a crab gratin, simply wonderful. My husband ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich, which was delicious and cooked to perfection. The venue offers valet service at a fair price. I recommend it for those who enjoy good seafood and fine wines.

Wonderful! Amazing seafood paella and the best mojito ever! And the view!

I’m not sure if I put up a review as I intended to yesterday, but this was my first visit to JB’s, I was in the mood for seafood and decided on the lobster scramble, especially because I got a free mimosa lol. I will say that the valley was well worth the price, especially compared to the $30 parking lot on the other side of the street. Do NOT go to that parking lot! Their coconut Mojito was made with great ingredients and did not taste artificial. My only grip with the food is that while it was a lot, the eggs were a bit burned on the bottom. This usually leads to dry eggs, and after eating a quarter of it, I decided to save the rest and try to salvage at home (yes, you can reheat eggs in a pan with new scrambled eggs) The benefit of the lobster scramble was that I got a free mimosa, so I won’t complain. The decor and layout are really nice inside and don’t appear like it would be stuffy in there if it were full. I went on a Sunday around two and the wait to sit outside was 15 to 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad, but it was so hot. I don’t think it was worth waiting. Otherwise no complaints. No complicated interactions or improper service. Nice stuff, prompt service.

We entered the place for some appetizers, beer and a glass of prose. The place is very crowded, the girl who waited on us was very attentive, careful in her service. But I do think that the management is understaffed... but it is a place that I recommend. The food was very well prepared. The valet parking is excellent and is not outlandishly priced. They have live music, which is very good. You must visit this site.

First timer for lunch with the family. Stunning place visually. Huge, airy and open. Indoor and outdoor dining and while we decided to eat inside we could see the ocean from our table. GREAT service and the place was CLEAN. Great value for your money. I was suprised that it wasn't more expensive. I had the Blackened Mahi Bowl and it was only $19 ( I only finished the massive bowl because it had an amazing flavor). I would fly back to Florida just for this bowl.

We’ve been here several times and always had a good experience. We did have 6:45 reservations but did not get seated till about 7:15. That wasn’t bad because we just hung out by the beach. Once we were seated the food was excellent. I had the Parmesan crusted halibut, which is the special for today. Others in my party had the swordfish and somebody else had the Thai curry mahi and shrimp. Everybody was very happy with their food. We also had their spinach dip appetizer with water chestnuts, which was also delicious. One of my favorite parts about this restaurant is it’s right on the boardwalk, which is right next to the beach. So it has a great Florida beach vibe. We didn’t sit too close to the band on purpose because we didn’t want it to be too loud, so where we were sitting it was just right. This is a definite go to place when you’re in Florida especially if you want a place right on the water. We’ve always had good experience and we have been several times.

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view during lunch. The scallop appetizer was delicious and a hearty amount! The conch fritters were also tasty. Cocktails were great. Our server Perry was very attentive and provided a great experience!

We showed up pretty close to closing as a party of 2. Nick, I think he was a manager, greeted us warmly at the front door. He promised us we were more than welcome to dine with us and found us a perfect spot by the water. Our server, unfortunately I forgot her name, was also amazing. Nick stopped by to check on us halfway through the meal and really made us feel so happy we chose JB's for out late night cravings. We will be back soon, everything was perfect!!

Location, location, location. The beach views are picture perfect. Awesome Friday night happy hour with live music! Spacious indoor and outdoor seating in a festive, bustling atmosphere. The happy hour food menu has changed, but their regular menu has something for everyone. We came for the live music last Friday night, and the singers vocals were amazing. We odered the Asian BBQ Salmon Sliders and JB's Guacamole. The salmon sliders were delicious ! This place is always packed because the food is great, the staff is friendly, the beach views are gorgeous, and the live music never dissapoints...highly recommend ! Valet parking.

One of the best on the beach restaurants in the area. Menu is limited but has more than enough choices for everyone. Forte is the bar menu. Only drawback was one of the nights we were there the music was a single guitarist who was too loud and not very good. But that does not detract from the overall rating. We just simply moved to a area that was out of hearing range. That is another great things about JB's, it is large with a large outside dining area, but you can choose anywhere in the restaurant for an intimate setting. The Madre de and servers were very accommodating.

Great food and great service. My wife and I ate dinner at JB’s while on a weekend getaway. The staff was polite and attentive to us the entire time. This place had a cool theme inside for the decor. Very clean and welcoming! We ordered a few appetizers/starters and the volcano crab cake as the entree. The food does not disappoint! The pictures that are posted on Google and other apps don’t look as good as they are, you have to try it. I would 110% recommend this to anyone coming to the area. Reasonably priced as well! Food was a solid, flavorful burger. The scenery is fantastic. Service was better than the location as my server was super kind. Funny thing is that I witnessed a family who decided to potty train their 2-3 year old child on the patio. Not a big fan of watching a child go to the bathroom whilst sitting between tables. The parents were lucky to have patient and kind management and servers as I complained about what I witnessed. JB’s definitely had a more family friendly approach than I would.

Excellent place to celebrate a special occasion, the food was excellent, you can taste the dedication in every plate, Our waiter was great , he took the time to explain the menu and recommended good entrees . The terrace with the ocean view made the evening. Reservations recommended.

Second time here. Great atmosphere, even in the rain. Great variety of seafood and even some great choices for the land lubber. I must say Rebecca made the difference. Very attentive to my daughters food allergies and she sincerely wants your experience to be outstanding. She makes a good restaurant great. See you guys again soon.

Company Christmas gathering party of 7, best dishes at the table were the lobster scampi and snapper, it's Florida lobster so not quite as flavorful as the cold water, but still the sauce was on point, strong flavor of wine butter and garlic, with a hint of basil. I didn't taste the fish, but going off my cross table neighbor, it must have been delicious 😋 he at every last bite. The holiday decorations were stunning. Over all a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We thoroughly enjoy having lunch or dinner at JB’s . Eating while enjoying the beach view is what we love. If you are lucky you can catch their live music!!! Wait time if any is minimal. The food is always delicious and fish is so fresh. Please bring back the muscle dish for the spring. They are amazing!!! Looking forward to returning there from up north real soon!! Valet parking!

Love the atmosphere, live music, and right on the beach. The service was great, too. The food is very good! Tried several dishes. I wanted to rate this 4.5 stars, only due to the beer being warm. Draft and bottle. Other than that, everything was great! Definitely recommend.

Great experience! Went lunch. The scenery was great! Right off the beach. Live music was a plus. The drinks were really good. Oysters had the freshest and sweetest taste. Best I've had in a long time! Shrimp & Lobster salad was fresh as well. Food & drinks came out fast. Our server was extremely polite and welcoming.

Came here on 12/5 for a belated birthday celebration with girlfriends and had the best time. Every dish was fresh and delicious, and we all loved our meals. Our waitress was absolutely incredible - so attentive, kind, and truly went out of her way to make the birthday feel special. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves all the recognition. Can’t wait to come back soon with my fiancé.

We had an amazing first visit to JB’s on the Beach, and it definitely won’t be our last! The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was truly exceptional. A huge shout-out to Perry, who was simply the best waiter we’ve had in a long time. We accidentally ordered the wrong fish, and when we mentioned it to him, he didn’t hesitate for a second, he had the correct dish made for us right away and even offered us extra fries. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the whole experience unforgettable. We’re already planning our next visit and will absolutely be asking for Perry again. Great restaurant! By the ocean, there’s live music and packed. My food was not the best; the chicken in red thai curry was bland, but both my husband and son loved their food. Hubby had the Mediterranean Branzino, he loved it, my son had the rib eye and he said it was good. The desserts were excellent! We had the brownie sundae and banana split; both tasted above and beyond! Our server-I’m afraid her name escapes me right now, was wonderful! There’s parking lots nearby, no free parking, but the prices are reasonable. Also valet parking available. Overall we had a great dining experience, super casual, no pressure! We’ll be back!

Took my mom for brunch for her birthday! Food was amazing! Service was great! We made a reservation so that made it easy! They have valet for $7 and it’s worth it instead of trying to find parking. Recommend for any occasion!

JB’s on the Beach did not disappoint! With an absolutely stunning view of the ocean, we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The live music set the perfect vibe for a relaxing and fun evening. The drinks were spot on, and the food—wow! The seafood was unbelievably fresh, sweet, and totally mouthwatering. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for great food, ocean views, and a chill atmosphere, JB’s is a must!

Yesterday we had lunch at JB's! It was a beautiful, sunny day after a night of a scary, very windy storm. We were given a great table on the terrace with a fantastic view of the ocean, the pier, and the beach! We loved the view and people walking by on the trail. Our server, Perry, was friendly and helpful with great recommendations about the menu. We ordered the Lobster Flatbread for our appetizer, which was pretty good, but could have used a piece or two more of lobster on it. For our main course, we both chose the Fish and Chips meal. It came with a generous piece of white fish in a delicate batter and a good amount of tasty French fries. We decided to take half of the meal home to enjoy the next day. For dessert, we split the Key Lime pie, which was one of the best we have tasted in Florida. So good! Thank you, Perry, for your wonderful suggestions! We had a great time at JB's and will definitely return in the near future. It is a very nice restaurant with an oceanfront view! Parking is hard to find, so we used their valet service ($7). The attendants were super nice and attentive about opening and closing the doors.

My waitress was kind and courteous and checked in with me to make sure my needs were met.. went back to visit recently, and I can say they never disappointed.. waitress was awesome , food was good..5 star for consistency..the oysters are some of the best around. Valet parking made it easier this time around.

Great casual spot right on the beach. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Apple tart and Key Lime pie were also very good but very big (better to share). Service was friendly too.

Great place and great food! We had the Coconut Shrimp and the Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki. Both were excellent! Key Lime pie was for dessert and that was great as well! It's also a beautiful view of the ocean. This area is not set up for public parking and they don't have but a few spaces (which are always full), so just do the valet. It is not worth the hassle to save $7 + tip. You should make reservations, just to be safe.

The perfect meal! Best we’ve had in the area. Our server, Adam, was incredible! He talked us through the majority of the menu and gave us 10/10 recommendations. Everything was cooked perfectly and the view in the restaurant was unbeatable. Loved everything. The scallops are a must try!

Visited this restaurant with my family and we sat outside with the view of the water. The outdoor seating was by the walkway for the beach and the live band started around 12 midday. I had the lobster eggs Benedict and it was very buttery but the flavor was on point! No fishy smell nor taste and the eggs were perfect! My boyfriend had the fish and chips and it was almost a fish for 2 people. Not to mention the coleslaw, it was so fresh and tasted so good. The fries were also fresh, warm and crispy!!! We will be going back with friends. My family also had the pain killer drink and mojitos which was also great!!!

I visit this restaurant at least four times a month! I love the vibe of the tables facing the beach, the live music, and the coconut shrimp!

Very good restaurant. The service is impeccable and professional, the food is excellent (generous dishes) and the atmosphere is the best. You can enjoy the beach while you eat or have a drink, its terrace is great, right on the boardwalk. There are more restaurants to choose from, but we decided on this one for its more informal atmosphere. 100% recommended.

We tried JB's on the beach for lunch and had an absolutely delightful meal. We started off with a Great Guava-rita and Hold My Beer light lager and both hit the spot. Following our complimentary Bimini bread, we had the Mediterranean Wrap and Fish Sandwich and enjoyed the flavors packed into both. We couldn't end the meal without something sweet and decided on an old classic, Key Lime Pie, as well as a Lychee Martini. The Key Lime Pie was probably one of the best presented desserts we've had sea-side, and comes highly recommended. The Lychee Martini is also worthwhile, and was bursting with Lychee flavor. Service throughout was quick and attentive, even though the restaurant was filled to capacity. We will be back!

Our first time here- but certainly not our last! We were “blessed” to be seated in Brandon’s section- happy hour, high top, with an awesome acoustic guitarist adding to the perfect evening beach vibe! (Who needs a “deck” IYKYK) Appetizers were delicious Chicken Satay, Margherita Flatbread, Poke bowl, and Bocce Balls (fried mozz) We had a couple rounds- peach mule, passion fruit mojito, margarita and ‘hold my beer’- soooo that’s what we had, and loved BUT it was BRANDON that 100% made our night! He was super friendly knowledgeable and personable! 10 out of 10!

Always love coming here the mahi burger is always my favorite as well as the shrimp and lobster salad. The spicy pineapple margarita was delicious! This is a great place to eat with friends, family, ur partner or just going solo! The view is beautiful

this is a gorgeous restaurant on the ocean. The ambience is lovely. Food is very good. We were a group of five women and any small discrepancies they took care of right away without any fuss. I will definitely go back to this restaurant again.

Beachy, contemporary restaurant on the beach overlooking the Deerfield Beach pier. The portions were large, our party of 3 could only eat half of their respective entrees. 2 had the overstuffed shrimp and lobster wrap and 1 had a huge hamburger. The food was fresh and nicely presented. The attached photo was from a nearby table.

If you are ever in the Deerfield beach definitely go over and dine at JB’s. From the guava-Rita, Asian salmon bowl, lobster seafood salad, conch fritters, and lobster & shrimp wrap, and spinach dip was extremely delicious. The restaurant was clean, great view of the beach from the patio and Cory was the best waiter anyone could have. Everything he suggested and recommended off the menu was amazingly delicious. Cory was polite and extremely kind. He deserves a raise and promotion!!!!!!

I was so hungry and this hit the spot. I ate it up so quick.. The bread and cinnamon sugar butter was delish too. Crisp glass of Pinot Grigio yes mama.

When I went a few weeks ago they had an amazing female singer and guitarist which only contributed to the amazing environment of being by the beach. I had some oysters and crab cakes along with some coconut mojitos and the bartender was very kind. I sat by the bar on a Saturday early afternoon and tables were packed! Hope to be back again soon! P.S only valet I ended up parking a little further and just park but that preference and still paid for it just not valet prices.

We had our Aunt's memorial lunch here and it was lovely. They let me decorate the table with flowers, small candles, and tiny framed photos. They put lovely white table clothes over the tables for us and the staff was very helpful and nice. The waitress was very attentive and the food was really good. My sister and I also ate dinner here one night and the two guitar/singers played great tunes and sounded awesome. Our waitress that evening was also wonderful. I had a mixed drink that I don't remember the name of...it was strong and delish! This is a really nice place and if I lived here I would eat here all the time. Also, they have beautiful Christmas decorations up!

We had an amazing brunch at JB’s on the Beach! Sat outside with a beautiful ocean view and enjoyed every moment. Started with the creamy spinach dip — perfect for sharing. Drinks were excellent: mimosas, mojito, Strawberry Tsunami, and a virgin piña colada. Our meals (Italian Scramble, Blueberry Cheesecake French Toast, and Beachside Breakfast) were all hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was fast and friendly, and the live music created a great beachside vibe. Highly recommend JB’s for a fun and relaxed brunch spot. We’ll definitely be back!

JB’s is a wonderful spot to relax while enjoying the view of the beach and eating fantastic food. The service was friendly and the food was delicious! Special mention of the blackened ahi bowl. This is a place you could go over and over again.

We had a phenomenal experience at JB's on the Beach! The fish was the absolute star of the show—we had the Mahi and the Branzino, and both were better than perfect. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to a tee. What made the night truly special, though, was the service. Marvin provided extraordinarily great service; he was attentive, professional, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!"

The food and atmosphere and service were phenomenal. Myckela was a really friendly waitress. The lobster bisque soup was the best I ever had. My aunt and I had the shrimp and lobster wrap, and the quality and freshness were amazing. My uncle had the fish and chips, and he said the fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Lively restaurant and bar on the beach. Beautiful views of the sun, sand, ocean, and pier from anywhere at the outdoor bar or dining area. There was live music the Sunday night that we visited. We ordered the bocce balls as an appetizer that we shared. We also ordered a side Ceasar salad which was split in half for us in the kitchen. My son ordered the marsala filet mignon. He had never tried a marsala sauce before, so our server offered to serve is with the mushrooms and sauce on the side. It came out cooked medium as requested. However, the kitchen did NOT put the sauce on the side. In their defense, it was extremely busy at 6:30 pm on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, my son enjoyed it the way it was served. I ordered the Ribeye medium rare. It came medium well. The manager came to our table and offered to prepare a new one, but I didn't want my son to have to wait that long when he was wanting to swim prior to dinner. Again, the manager was pleasant and understanding, offering to deduct it from the bill! We had a wonderful time!! We will be back!!

Outstanding experience!! Went there on the 24th to celebrate my birthday. Everything from start to finish was exceptionally good. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were outstanding. We had the Lobster and Shrimp Salad as well as the Fish and Chips...absolutely superb! Jen (server) was an absolute pro and so attentive. Great spot!

Really enjoyed the food and the waitress was great! My only complaint was the hostess. She was very sour and rude. You would think, it would have killed her to smile!

Fresh seafood with a view - JB’s on the Beach is always a nice choice when you want a relaxing meal by the ocean. The lobster salad was fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor, and the shrimp were perfectly chilled. The lobster eggs Benedict with bacon was indulgent without being too heavy, and the breakfast scramble had a fresh, zesty kick with guacamole on top. The fries were crisp and satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive, and the oceanfront atmosphere makes the experience even better. Prices are on the higher side, but for the quality and the view, it’s worth it for a treat.

Great spot to eat and enjoy a good view. At the afternoon you get great live music. 🎶 Top are the coconut shrimp, oysters, and the best are the scallops. The lobster and shrimp salad is not as good as it sounds at they only out a small piece of it. Either way try it out !

The artichoke & spinach dip lacked flavor. However, the service was fantastic. We had Taylor as our server. Although the restaurant was crowded, she took good care of us.

The appetizer bocche balls were the best hands down, the coconut shrimp was delicious. However the seafood paella had way too many variations for me. I could have did without the squid and too much calamari. Outside of the food the outside scenery was lovely of the beach at night. The service was great! Only concern was the kids chicken breast was charred on the outside and uncooked inside. But was taken back politely and replaced with another dish. Will be back!

It was a large group of us sitting outside on the patio, with a view of the ocean. So the atmosphere was really nice, and the service was amazing. The cod fish and chips is HUGE, and enough for 2. Valet is $7 and cash only, but they have an ATM as well as take online payments.

Great spot right on the beach. Order the scallops as an appetizer, they were great. Overall the food was good, not incredible, but the scallop appetizer in the pic was a stand out and the service was very good.

The setting is hard to beat. Right on the beach, fun decor, and add in some Christmas decorations 👌. I started things out with a cup of chowder. Fair amount of clams and decent flavor. Soup was a little thinner than my typical liking for chowder. I got the coconut shrimp starter for my main dish, and it was perfect. I was looking for something light and wouldn't put me into a food coma. The shrimp were cooked well. Coconut was a little light, but overall, they were good.

Amazing location on the beach. Sitting outside when the weather is good is a definite plus. Paella was good but I would not recommend since there is better fish dishes on the menu. Definitely worth the visit if you are out of town. Parking is a bit of an hassle in this part of town so valet parking in the option to go with.

I went here with wife and kids for her birthday. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and the patios was packed and a bit loud. The food though, was great and the server was courteous. I did make a reservation and told them it was my wife’s birthday. They did not recognize her for her birthday. That was disappointing. She really loves JBs and it was a damper for her.

We love JBs and when we came a bit later in the afternoon there was a band playing then it switched to dinner. Great patio facing the beach and the service keeps up with busy times...The food is great and costs meet it with a family of four but the atmosphere is what really draws people here.

Over all a good experience, especially since I was there with my family. Everybody enjoyed the food and it tested well. If you were vegetarian, then probably don’t consider this place but rest if you’re looking for a good seafood this is your place. And it has a huge outdoor as well as indoor seating area, so that was barely any waiting in. The people were also friendly there.

I had a great time here, talking to Brandon and Taylor. The food I got was the Lobster salad, which was 27 bucks. I thought it was not as good as it sounded. I definitely wouldn't order it again. It was sort of flavor less. The lobster was good. Would have gotten something different had I known it was. meh.

Nice place by the beach with beachy vibes and live music. The food is good but not much options if you are allergic to shell fish :) but then why will you go to seafood restaurant. We tried all the specialties and they were good .

JB’s on the Beach is one of those places that instantly puts you in vacation mode. With ocean views, sea breezes, and a relaxed coastal vibe, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy good food by the water. The shrimp and lobster salad was a standout—fresh, generous, and light, with tender seafood that tasted like it came straight from the ocean. It was flavorful without being heavy, making it ideal for a sunny beachside lunch. The crab cake was just as impressive: nicely seasoned, mostly crab (always a good sign), and cooked to a perfect golden finish. Add in friendly service and the unbeatable setting, and JB’s delivers exactly what you hope for in a beachfront restaurant—great seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and a view that’s hard to beat. A lovely place to relax, unwind, and savor the flavors of the coast.

It’s ok. Atmosphere is nice. Food is expensive. People watching is fun when you sit outside. Mostly got apps and dessert. One glass of wine. They serve Pepsi, for those who care. I get the feeling that this is nothing more than an expensive diner. Server was friendly, when we saw him. Could probably have used a fresh shirt after a long, hot dinner service. Valet parking is $7. Next time I’ll try someplace else.

Saturday afternoon, my family and I went to JB's for lunch. Since the weather forecast was beautiful we decided to dine beachside and surpringly it was not busy. We were promptly sat down at our table and did not receive silverware even though we ordered appetizers. I had to request that silverware be brought out for my family of four, and then were only given two sets, even though there were four of us. I then had to request for another two sets of silverware 🤔. When the coconut shrimp appetizer came out, they were pipping hot and not greasy. (8/10) The guava-rita was also a good drink choice but could've been a tad bit stronger . (9/10) The ginger kiss lacked ginger and was very lemony. (4/10) Now, the main dishes that we ordered were the ribs with fries, a crabcake sandwich with old bay fries, and two kid mac n cheese. Their ribs were ok. Nothing reallyyyyy stood out about them except the fact they were tough and lacked flavor. (4/10) The crabcake sandwich was lackluster/ flavorless, and the taste was very fishy. (5/10) Then came the kids' mac and cheese that was soupy and bland.(4/10) I had to send my sons plate back due to him not enjoying his meal. Critique: The coconut shrimp: The shrimp were large and paired well with the dipping sauce. There was also a fair amount of shrimp provided with the appetizer as well. The Ribs : They should be cooked more in order to ensure their tenderness. There should also be a side of BBQ sauce provided. Additional sides for the ribs should include baked beans n potato salad. The Crabcake burger: The size of the sandwich for the price point was good. I also liked that the sandwich was evenly proportioned and came on a toasty brioche bun. The Mac: The portion size of the Mac was good, and I also liked that it was homemade and not boxed. The cheese sauce needs more body as it is too soupy. The overall rating for this dining experience is 4 out of 10.

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and while the atmosphere and drinks helped create a nice setting for the occasion, the food unfortunately did not meet expectations—especially given the price point. The ambiance was enjoyable, even though the temperature inside was noticeably cold. The environment still felt appropriate for a special celebration, and the drinks were well-made and enjoyable. For appetizers, I ordered the conch fritters. While they were seasoned well, they were overwhelmingly dense with flour and had a doughy texture, with very little actual conch inside. The coconut shrimp was also disappointing, as it lacked seasoning and flavor. My entrée, the seafood paella, was the biggest letdown. It was excessively salty, almost as if too much seasoning had been added accidentally. Additionally, the texture was very wet and resembled a risotto more than a traditional paella. The overall flavor was difficult to enjoy because of the overwhelming saltiness. Spending nearly $150 for this meal was especially disappointing considering the quality of the food. If the flavors and execution had matched the price, it would have been understandable, but unfortunately, they did not. Overall, the atmosphere, service and drinks were highlights of the evening, but the food did not justify the cost. I hope the kitchen improves its balance of seasoning and preparation, as the restaurant has potential based on its ambiance and service environment alone.

I had a high expectation given the star ratings and proximity to the ocean. So I ordered starters first to see how they are, 6 oysters and ceviche. As you can see in pictures, they were the smallest oysters I have ever had in my life. Tastes were ok. I probably need 30 to be satisfied. Ceviche was nothing special. Chips portion was unnecessarily large. It was busy Saturday dinner time, and even without a reservation, we didn’t wait and offered a seat right away. (We had only two people.) Staffs were generally friendly and accommodating.

We booked a table in advance. When entering the restaurant we were very happy with the location and atmosphere. We made order food and drinks. When the young waitress brought the drinks, she put one of them, a mojito, right in front of the 3-year-old child. Naturally, the child stretched out his hands. The waitress snatched the glass and moved it!!! Just wonderful! What professionalism!!! We spent the next 20 minutes calming the child down, after which she sat in her mother's arms the entire time. We never received any apologies from the waitress, although it was 100% her fault. Never again will we come here! Worse experience ever!

We tried to make a reservation twice, but they told us they don’t take reservations. Then we went as walk-ins, and they said they don’t accept walk-ins without a reservation. This was a place we always used to come to, but they completely let us down as a group of five with children. The staff had no idea what each other was saying and were rude.

I made reservations on 1/20 for my mom’s 70th birthday dinner on 2/21. I added that we were celebrating a 70th birthday. They told me that I made reservations inside (which I had no way to prove that I didn’t) and then proceeded to seat us by a table right outside of the kitchen. Probably the worst table at the place with little to no view of the ocean (made 5:30 reservations so we could see the water). We wanted to make the best of it but unfortunately Kerri P was our server. She was not rude but she was not friendly nor did she go out of her way to do anything to make our mom feel special. She didn’t even say birthday to our mother that had a birthday crown and 70 and fabulous birthday sash on. Strangers were wishing her that but not our server. Needless to say if you want to go somewhere for a special occasion that does nothing to make it special than go here.

Asked for a fillet mignon marsala medium. 49 dollars and the food preparation and presentation were poor. As you can see from the pictures it doesn’t look appetizing. They didn’t give me fillet mignon and I believe just some other cut of steak. They masked it with lots and lots of marsala sauce like a soup. It was not medium. I added a picture for contrast at the end so you can see what fillet mignon should look like and the grain of the muscle. Also the asparagus were not blanched. They should maintain a vibrant green color and as you can see they were not. Not rustic mash nor any sort of mesquite wood flavor nor aroma as offered in the menu. Menu says demi glace marsala sauce but as you can see that is not a reduced demi glace sauce. Just a goop of regular marsala sauce. Dessert brownie was not warm and hard like it has been sitting around for a while. I went to culinary art school and I am a certified chef. I suggest you buy bar food such as burgers and fried stuff at JB’s rather than their high end menu. Stuff a lazy or lack of skill back kitchen can’t mess up. Kitchen quality issues typically start from the top. You don’t get what you pay for here. Staff were friendly and attentive at the bar. Perhaps a bit too much. I suggest that if someone is not giving eye contact just let them eat in peace without asking every 5 minutes if I am ok. I felt rushed because of it. Just constructive criticism

We are having bad experience right now! We came to make outdoor reservation, they didn’t take reservation at 3pm. Offered 8:30pm earliest. They said you can come as walk-in. We came as they said and made us waited again for 45 mins. Then they offered indoor, We have little kid and one senior person so we accepted. But they made us wait again, then despite many empty seats, they allowed us to sit next to kitchen. Family were so hungry, so we sit. I will update my experience!!
