Chinto's Del Rio Reviews
Some of the best tacos I've had out along my travels 11/10
The tacos were AMAZING, as was the service. The owner was super nice and we loved learning about the history of the restaurant.
This and Julios are way better than that slop they serve at that dirty taco place under the bridge!! Great food here!!
This place is EXCELLENT. We went for breakfast (where they will serve the full menu). My family ordered breakfast items and I ordered a dinner option. Servings are plentiful and incredibly fresh. We will eat here every time we go to Del Rio. I have a new favorite restaurant.
Machacado ala Mexicana is outstanding. Even though I live in Eagle Pass, I plan on returning soon to try their lunch menu.
Excellent food, traditional and a break from the daily boredom! Excellent service no to be matched! My "must go" when I'm within 100 miles. Your taste buds will thank you! 😋
I absolutely love this place. The food is sooo good and satifying. The decor in the store I hand made which gives it a family feel.
I can’t take any pictures because my plate is empty. The food was very flavorful and filling and the service was excellent. Loved everything!!!
Stopped off overnight in Del Rio on a road trip. Not a big town so limited options for breakfast but what they have is quality not quantity! Dropped in to Chinto’s and had a feast of breakfast tacos. They are big but we had to try as many as we could fit in as it all looked and smelled so good. Super friendly team who look after you, could live here and eat their food forever. This is the way.
Fantastic tacos and even better owners. Chinto himself made taco recommendations and when I went to order 3, he said “we recommend 2 because they are so big”. He wasn’t wrong. Super breakfast taco was phenomenal with crunchy bacon and all the everything you could want on a taco. Barbacoa was so tender and flavorful. My wife’s migas taco was also excellent. So good we took tacos to go for lunch. He also does his own artwork inside and out. Overall highly recommend.
My favorite place to eat delicious and amazing food in Del Rio! The Breakfast Burrote is the bomb. It has everything and is crispy to golden perfection on the outside. Inside there is potato, egg, bacon, pico, guacamole and it’s truly amazing. also try the Tacos Tapatios and fresh homemade lemonade. Friendly owner and the staff are so kind and helpful. Fun atmosphere and humorous decor with patches and signs on the walls. It’s a fun place and delicious for breakfast or brunch! Thank you Chinto’s!
You get what you pay for, and yesterday it's expensive, but superior. The place is clean and the food is quick. I took a star off because their flour tortillas are not great, their corn tortillas are not home made, and that's a shame. The ambiance is charming. You can tell these people have a passion for their brand, and it shows.
Rice is good just way too soft. Chicken quesadilla tasted plain. Not sure if chicken is seasoned or not. Not a fan of the cheese used on the quesadilla
Front desk lady with tear drops tattoo was not friendly. She told me she doesn’t allow outside drinks in a rude tone. Do NOT eat there cheese enchiladas it taste like fabuloso! Tacos were ok. Not chips and dip like most places do as complementary.
NEW visited again- 4-11-25 Drive Through took 20 min. And was asked to park in front for another 15 min.s for my food. Lemonade was sour and hardly any sugar. Tasted watered down to me. Not a fan of their paper straws. I ordered 1/2 Tapatios- tastes bland good amount of meat in them needed salt and some lemon, 1 Barbacoa Taco with onion and cilantro- tasted bland , 1 GBC tasted alright too much beans. Meat was bland, and 1 large Lemonade for $26.50 paid cash because they charge you to buy food with a card. Overall experience 2 stars nothing fancy. Food 2 stars bc od blandness and the Lemonade. The services was good 3 stars 🌟 🤩 Tacos taste was on point I ordered 1 Barbacoa taco and 1 GBC2 taco and a large Lemonade. Just watch out because I got a little small rock in my GBC2 and almost chipped my teeth when I bit down. I had to give the staff the small rock to show the cook. Besides that atmosphere was calm inside. Total $19.00. Almost had 5 stars but the rock messed up my experience.
