Mancuso's Delmar Reviews
If you’re into places that feel like they’ve been around forever—maybe run by someone’s grandparents or longtime locals—this little breakfast joint is a gem. It’s definitely got that "oldest place in town" vibe. Probably run by a couple in their 50s who know every customer by name and treat everyone like family. Don’t expect trendy décor or spotless tile floors—this is no new-age diner. But it’s clean, cozy, and real. The crowd? Mostly seniors, regulars, and friendly faces. It’s a hangout spot as much as it is a breakfast stop. I sat at a lunch-counter-style setup next to another customer—felt like we were at the same table, but it wasn’t awkward. Actually kind of nice. Very communal feel. The food? Surprisingly great. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and home fries. Everything was seasoned perfectly—didn’t need to reach for salt or pepper once. I'm not sure if the pancakes were scratch-made or just came out tasting like it, but either way, they hit the spot. Much better than the fancy new diner just a few feet away, where the food felt more Instagram than appetite. Service was very personal—both the cook and the waitress were familiar and friendly, but not pushy. I was clearly an outsider, but I felt welcome. That said, the place is cash only, which is worth knowing ahead of time. Seating is limited—maybe room for 15 people max—but that just adds to the charm. If you're nearby and want a simple, solid breakfast with no frills and lots of heart, this place is worth the stop.
Good food and fast service at a very reasonable price. I had two eggs over easy with ham and home fries. All very good and well prepared. Takes cash only.
This hidden gem in the Capital region is great way to start your day with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. Vinny, the owner, is a great host. Looking forward to our next visit. "It's all good!"
Waitress was really great and the food came out pretty quick. Checked in with us regularly. Food was really good
The best breakfast in the area. Always fresh and always delicious. Monday - Friday 6:30am -2:00pm. This morning, oatmeal supreme!

Great local breakfast spot. Service was great and food was classic and good. Loved listening into the local conversation. Cash only! Looking forward to coming back.
Chill mom and pops type atmosphere...great food! Decent prices, has to be an actual hidden gem since its litterally hidden behind the Hannaford! Lol worth the stop for breakfast or brunch!
We found this little gem on Google. I very rarely order omelets when i go for breakfast, however I took a chance and was amazed, every ingredient was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the fact that the cook went out of his way and came to us to make sure it was right meant so much. On top of an amazing breakfast it was excellent service. They made us feel right at home. The server and the cook are a great team. The server was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone we know.
First time going to Mancuso's. We had sandwiches and onion rings. They were all so good. The waitress made you feel like you were old friends. Definitely recommend this to others! Look forward to going again when I have appointments in that area
Terrific breakfast place. Host is super friendly. I liked the setup of made of several counters one after the other. I enjoyed my western omelet. My daughter's french toast looked delicious, as well as my wife awesome saussage sandwich.
This diner is a hidden gem in Delmar! Vinny, the owner, came right over and talked to our group, and made us feel very welcome. The food is always cooked fresh and tastes amazing. The atmosphere of this place is wonderful, and I look forward to coming back with friends!
I don’t go as often as I should, but the food is always fantastic. Everything freshly made and put together well. The inside is perfectly clean and the owners are very friendly. Freshly paved parking lot as of recently. Nothing but good things to say
The food is excellent, and the people are so friendly and kind the Luncheonette is like a home away from home. Turkey is roasted right there, all meat used is excellent quality, salads and soups are made from scratch from family recipes, and the chili is fantastic.
Delmar is so fortunate to have this restaurant!
DELICIOUS! First time coming here and it’s a bit difficult to find, but soooo worth it — turn down the road that doesn’t look like a road!! (On the corner of “Healthy Pet Center). My french toast and scrambled eggs were just perfect, as were my mum’s pancakes, sunny side up eggs, and bacon. It’s the REAL French toast, the good stuff, not that giant slab of dry and often burnt stuff you get from other places! Also saw another lady’s order as we were leaving and it looked mouthwatering, her toast was the absolute ideal golden brown. Will definitely be back. P.s. If you like real maple syrup just bring a small bottle with you
Homemade foods, seasoned to perfection. A win ,win ! I visit often and bring more people each time. The waitress is attentive and enjoyable banter and wit to boot!
Great homemade food, meals to go . Fresh roasted turkey weekly . You will find you are very welcome by Vinny and Audra. My favorite is chicken parm and penne. .Beside the best breakfast around , You will enjoy the blueberry pancakes and sausage.
I go to Mancuso’s for breakfast with a friend at least once a month and we’re never disappointed. Great food. Friendly service. And a warm sense of community. It just feels so comfortable there. It’s my favorite spot for breakfast. Highly recommend.
We were in Delmar to visit a high school friend. Got there a little early so looked for a local spot for a light lunch since we were going out to dinner later. Stumbled on to Mancuso's and what a gem it is! Felt like we were stepping in to a 1970's diner, with red stools at the counters. Everything is fresh made by the owner and his waitress/cook of 20+ years. We had to pass up the meatball special (not light), but other people were having that and it looked (and smelled) so good. Homemade baseball-sized meatballs in a red sauce. I had the tuna melt and my wife the egg salad, both with homemade macaroni salad that was super. Sat for a while and talked with the owner and waitress. What a great experience. Lots of local regulars, as we would be if we lived nearby. Cash only.
