Hot Spots Eat Fresh Denton Reviews
The food was fresh and delicious. The staff at the pickup window was friendly and welcoming. The coupons for online orders are just one of the many reasons I’ve been back twice since trying it the first time a week ago. Quality ingredients make great food. Hot Spots is testimony to that
I drive by all the time and see they are popular. OMG, the food is so good, big portion, fresh and order at drive thru is very easy and fast. Sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, the dumplings are my favorite. I also like the matcha milk tea.
Tried authentic shrimp Ramen for the 1st time with the egg and when I say that thing was so packed with flavor and delicious, 😋🤤I almost bought another dish. 💯👌🏾 But they are worth every penny and they’re healthy!
I ordered lunch for the entire team, to say the least "great food". I picked up the large order and all plates were still warm once I returned to the plant to hand them out. Thank you to Hot Spots for coming through, perfectly. Definitely a new favorite for my family and business.
I order all the time here. I’ve gotten quite a few different dishes. Definitely the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had. A lot of places around here don’t have any flavor in the food but this restaurant has so much flavor in everything. I’m picky about my pad Thai but y’all did great. Highly recommend. I order delivery all the time :)
Wonderful experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had Chicken Mushroom with Steamed Rice Perfect and very large portions! Very attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Want to come back here soon!
I love this place, and eat here about once a week. The sesame balls with red bean filling are always fresh and hot, there’s a huge variety of tea flavors, including soy or almond milk for milk tea. There are plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. I usually get the tofu and vegetables. The quality of the veggies seems to be pretty consistent. The service is always super fast. The staff all seem very pleasant and considerate.
The place is Absolutely Amazing!!!! The food is Always Fresh, Hot, So....Good!!! I Really Love this place.... Their Egg Drop Soup is Delicious 😋 I Always get their Combination Lo Mein with extra chicken 😋 😋😍 ❤ ❤ My advice is to order online because it takes about 30 minutes to complete your order. If you have a bigger order it will take a little longer. Plus if your order is over $30 you'll get something free. I normally eat here at least once a week. The Customer Service is Absolutely Amazing!!! Try it and You'll become a Regular, "Just Like Me"
My boss recommended this place so I gave it a try. A-Mazing! I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and it was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Chicken was SUPER tender and the veggies (green beans, mushrooms, carrots and zucchini) were the perfect balance of tender and SO fresh/crisp. Wow. The sauce was not too spicy but just the perfect blend of spice and flavor. 100% will be back.
Glad to find such a great Chinese option in Denton that is not a buffet. Our family and friends have to go at least once a week to this lovely family owned and operated place. The Kung Pao Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Hunan Chicken, Pad Thai, beef lo mien, pork green beans, dumplings, and hot/sour soup are our favorites. The chicken is very tender, lots of sauteed vegetables in the dishes, careful attention to the spices, good portion size/value, and prompt service. The online menu has more description of the ingredients included in each dish than the physical menu in the restaurant, but the owners are happy to help assist you in finding something of your liking.
Heads up y'all, had great food when I had it before, which I give 5 stars for, but all the delivery options have significantly higher prices than the menu. For this I'm giving 1 star, because I'm not going to pay $4 extra per entree because delivery services up the cost so much, then expect a tip. Not in this economy. SO disappointed with the delivery services, but this is the best Chinese food I've found in Denton, so I'll keep going (and picking it up myself).
The food was amazing. My family and I had appetizers, entrees, and boba drinks. Everything was great. We will definitely go back when we are in the area. The service was great. Very nice people!
They were really nice and helped me order for my first time here
Very good food, and very generous portions if you eat in. The fried chicken curry is my favorite thing there, haven't found a better Asian place in all of north of Dallas yet
I have lived in Denton for many years and have always been disappointed by the lack of good Chinese food. This place is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in close to a decade. Chicken egg rolls are bomb. Chicken fried rice is bomb. Definitely going back. The food is absolutely fresh. You can taste it. We got chicken fried rice and chicken lo mei. W 2 egg rolls for ~$32. I thought I was kind of pricey initially until we got home and ate it. Sooooo good y’all. You have to go try this place.
Rad little spot I can’t get enough of. Dinner portion of the lo mein is so hearty that after eating off of it for ten minutes or so you’re full as a tick, you look down at the pile of noodles and it doesn’t seem to have diminished at all. first time I went here it was so good n greasy you could barely contain the sauce of it all in the bag. TEN STARS
Delicious! I got pan fried dumplings, Thai tea with boba, and the chasu ramen. The broth was delicious and flavorful, the tea was nice and refreshing without being too sweet, but the dumplings were best of all! I wasn't a huge fan of the chasu so I'm going to try something else next time, but everything else in the ramen was great! Highly recommend the dumplings!
Egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and lomein were all very tasty! Quick service as well in their drive thru. A little pricey but what can you expect in this economy.
Great place, food is delicious, servers are really nice, still has a bunch of the bahama bucks decor and I love it, they also had doja cat on which was awesome
I think I found a new favorite. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and don't have their nose in their phone all the time therefore they are very attentive. You should give them a try. You'll be glad you did. They have the best egg rolls.
Got a large wonton soup for the first time. Was not disappointed, the best wonton I've had in north DFW. My go-to here is Chicken Karaage & Boba Tea which I love! Keep up the great work!
Hands down the best boba in Denton!🙌🏾 I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I always get a honeydew milk boba tea with my order, it tastes amazing along with their entrees! They offer a huge menu with a variety of tasty dishes, every entree that I’ve tried thus far has been so delicious! Plus their customer service is top notch. The server Natalie is the best, she’s very pretty as well! Point is, you can’t go wrong with Hot Spots!! One of Denton’s finest restaurants!
There were some goofs on my order, related to the online system - not Hot Spots fault, they made it right, right away! It's our go to Chinese restaurant. 💗
Picked up lunch from here today and was super impressed. Decided to add the spicy wontons last minute and am so glad I did, everything smacked. Guy in the window was really nice too. This will definitely be a new go to spot for us
Good food good customer service food came out hot and fast
Went in tonight with a large to go order! Was greeted as soon as I walked in! Customer service was awesome!! For the size of the order the food came out so fast! The gentleman who took our order was so sweet! Just finished eating and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend the pad Thai! This will absolutely be my go too for now on!!
Me and my grandma both enjoy the food and they give big portions for the price
The food is SOO good and its really good portions. The staff is very friendly also.
Food is good and price is good. I love the hunan beef there.
Delicious. Food was fresh, service was excellent, very cozy and clean. Try the Ramen. Shrimp Ramen has real Shrimp, not the fake pink and white striped pinwheel shrimp.
has great customer service, was seated when we first walked in and was ready to serve my kids and i
To those who like resent reviews. I ordered my food today 3/23/2024. It was my first time ordering from here and let me tell you , it was amazing. The food was a lot . I always order extra meat because restaurants will be serving less meat but to my surprise I got extra extra that I couldn’t finish. About the taste, the food taste fresh and so yummy. Thank you for the team who made my food and surely I will be coming back.
Pricey, although it was an abundant amount, fresh, and totally worth every penny!! The quality & quantity were both on point. The employees were so nice even after I called them 3 separate times asking questions to make sure I was ordering my DoorDash correctly, thank you! Great food! Wish I would had taken a pic, I was too hungry, lol. 4th time here, such a treat and worth it.
Had a great dining experience at Hot Spots Eat Fresh. The chicken pad Thai was deliciously spicy, the egg drop soup was delightful, and the fried rice was a perfect complement to the meal. Can't wait to go back!
We wanted to try a new place in Denton & we’re in the mood for some Orange Chicken & pad Thai. Hot Spots popped up in the search so we dined in to give it a try. The orange chicken was crispy & delicious, the flavor was ON POINT! The pad Thai is by far the best we’ve had in town, perfectly flavored. The server was very friendly & our drinks were refreshed without requesting which was super nice, over all we give it 10 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is soooo amazing!!!! I pass by here all the time and I finally stopped by to get food! The sushi 😍 perfection! And the tea was amazing! Guys!!! Come eat here! This is now my favorite place to eat! I can sushi and they have curry!! I couldn’t find a place that had curry that was close by. I am definitely coming here!
Wow! we had never been here before but we are so glad we stopped in! I was craving boba and wanted to try a new place, we came in 30 minutes before close and felt so badly about coming so late but were greeted with the best service we’ve had in a while! we got boba and an order of the sesame balls which i’ve been searching for for so long! the service was spectacular the gentleman was so sweet and helpful, recommending us which drinks were popular and always had a smile on his face. I am so glad we were able to try this place out and are looking forward to getting dinner here next time! if you are looking for a new spot for delicious chinese food look no further!!!
If you looking for a great food I recommend the best place of Denton I was very impressed with the food and large portions great customer service as well Now is my favorite restaurant 😁
Run by the same people who run cafe naranja, one of the best boba tea houses in Denton. They have the same quality here, much better than standard fast food Asian food. Same drink menu, metal silverware and nice dishes instead of disposable ones, which is an interesting choice. They have a few sand volleyball courts behind their outdoor seating area. I really hope this place takes off, I'll be adding it to my recommended eateries. I had the teriyaki chicken, which was really tender, very tasty, and a very reasonable price.
The food and drinks are great, and so is the service. The main front person ming is super friendly and I love coming in and seeing him. Overall this has became my favorite spot in Denton
Food is really good! Put in a “order ahead” and it was nice and warm when I picked it up
My favorite chinese spot in Denton. Staff are always incredibly kind. If I have to wait several minutes in the drive thru for my order (which is never a problem, they make everything hot and fresh to order), sometimes they will give a free soda which is just sweet. The portions are huge and delicious, my favorite is the chicken lo mein. Love these guys ❤️
If you remember Naranja Cafe near Eagle Dr, it’s the same delicious milk teas. Honeydew is my favorite. Lo mein is tasty and all the veggies thrown in are awesome. Wait time has improved since its opening and service gives off a quiet, kind courtesy.
Went on 12/29/23 and ordered avacoda roll, crispy tofu and my wife had sesame chicken. First, Natalie is fantastic. So friendly. Greets you with the biggest smile. Made us feel great right off the bat. Then the food, there was really no wait. It was fresh and hot and delicious! Size portions, plan on taking some home for a snack later. I'm vegetarian and can't wait to try there other vegetarian meals. We will definitely be regulars. Thank you Natalie for making us feel so welcome. See you soon!
Well, I vote YES, YEAH and 2 thumbs up. A definite repeat and repeat. The food was tasty and fresh. The food tasted as good as it looks, checkout the pics below of the food I enjoyed. This place should be packed but I imagine it's still a secret that needs to be told and shared. It's certainly unsuspecting for its location. I hope to see it hopping this summer if even for just the milk teas, smoothies and slushies and much more. They have so many flavors to choose from. surely they have one to satisfy you. And it would be a great hangout when the weather warms up as one can sit outside or play a game of sand volley ball. Don't miss out on this gem. Support your new and deserving businesses. Now, go get your grub on. Happy eating. Update. Yesterday I brought my boys and we added the lo mein to our order and let me just say DELISH!!!! every bit of hit. We collectively have found our new favorite Asian food. It was as good as the first time which was last week. Lol and as I stand here waiting for more Mongolian beef adding the update, it counts as my 3rd time here. 5 stars for consistency in Yumminess!! Now come get your grub on.
My wife and I usually get take out here and it's always delicious. I typically get the king fried rice, it's always a ton of food, I know I'll have food left over for work the next day. The food is always good, never a bad experience.
Hot Spot Eat Fresh 02-18-24 I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Always enjoy eating here. What we had! We ordered appetizers. A5. DUMPLINGS (8) - Chicken dumplings (Fried) come with dumpling sauce. A12. HANDROLL SCALLION PANCAKE Crispy and flaky, hand roll pancake layered with green onion (1 whole piece), come with dumpling sauce We asked our server about the Takoyaki octopus balls with mayonnaise and sauce. He was nice enough to make us a sample to try! They go above and beyond! Our meals! I had R1. CHASHU RAMEN - Handmade Chashu (Soft braised pork belly), soft-boiled egg, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and green onion. The broth was flavorful and the Pork Belly was really good. My grandson had T2. TERIYAKI BEEF BOWL - Teriyaki beef, onion and carrot with steamed rice and sesame seeds The Beef was cooked with sliced onions and Teriyaki sauce. Strong flavor We also had a Boba Tea and Strawberry Peach Smoothie! Everything was fresh and flavorful
I found Hot Spots Eat Fresh after looking around for spots nearby that searched for General Tso's chicken. This is one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant had high reviews, the food pics look good, so I said why not give it a try? I placed a pick up order online from their website and parked and went inside to get my food. I did notice they do have a drive through and curbside pick up. Inside was pretty spacious and it had a few people eating around lunch time on a weekday. My food was ready when I went to get it, which was awesome. General Tso's chicken was very delicious. The piece of chicken meat was fresh and tasty and good pieces, but the tough and chewy parts of the chicken. The flavor was good, not too sweet or spicy. However I wish they had broccoli included. The rice was steamed food and tastes as you would expect white rice from a Chinese restaurant to taste like, bland to mild flavor (It's white rice). I definitely would recommend this spot and you should try them out too. I know I'll be back!
The location is a former beach vibe food place with a huge outdoor court, now it a family style Chinese spot, the service was amazing, the portions are huge and the food was very good. The transformation on going so the decor is odd, but if you can over look that, stop in for some tasty food.
Clean and the place was empty but they fill a lot of to go orders. I always passed by but never stopped til today. Was pleasantly surprised to when I walked in to the order process and delivery of my food to my table. Then the food. Probably one of the best fried rice with beef . Soup and veg eggroll. Yummmm. Will come back . If you know fried rice then this is the place.
Tonight was my first time eating here. I ordered beef fried rice and lemon pepper wings. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. Clean place, friendly service, great food. I will be eating here more often.
I work down the street and I was tired of eating fast food. I’m happy I found this place, the Chicken Lo Mein was so good. Your food comes out steaming and the customer service is always friendly
Tried this place and probably have been eating it everyday since. Literally the best sweet & sour chicken in the DFW Ive had since I’ve been here. Food is always hot except once I got re-dipped chicken it was very dark. But service is always neutral which I’m not mad at and I enjoy their soup chips as well. Try them out !
It looked like it was a drive-through only but if you pull to the back there is parking and an entrance for sit down. The gentleman from the back asked if it was pickup as they do a fair amount of takeout. The place used to be some Hawaiian themed place. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, General Tsos, and Mushroom (I chose pork as the protein). The mushroom pork dish came with lots of mushrooms, some snow peas and carrots. The veggies were fresh and all cooked perfectly with a crispness to them. The General Tsos and Chicken Karaage has a crunchy, light batter. Both had good flavor and the portions were large. There were 4 carryout orders while we were there and a mother and daughter that said they come here a lot. We definitely will be coming back.
Stopped in for the first time this past Friday. Huge portions of food, Flavorful food, Good menu selection, Excellent pricing (especially for the amount of food served). The restaurant was clean but dated in appearance. Then again you are there for the food! We will stop in again in the future…
Very cute and tasty local little Chinese shop! Always a reliable spot for some good REAL fried rice, none of that frozen premade stuff. Generous portions, great shrimp too, just watch out for the orange peels in the orange chicken. Highly recommend!
We got Lo Mein which was good. Spicy wontons but it wasn’t too spicy but it could be a little spicier but it was sweet. Crab Rangoon was very good but it wasn’t filled with much filling and egg drop soup, stated it was 16 ounces, it was in a 16 ounce container but only half way filled, it was good but I got a grey clump in mine and couldn’t finish it, I believed it was the yolk but it looked very odd.
I’ve always loved Hot Spot from my days at UNT, and every chance I get, when I’m in Denton or have family there, I recommend this place to them and ask them to order my go-to combination fried rice to bring back to me.
I adore the dood here. I am very texture picky and that's not an issue here. I usually get sesame chicken, and if that's your usual DON'T DO IT! Their sesame chicken is not great texturally but DON'T FRET! Everything else here is so delicious! I've been thrice in the last 2 weeks. My favorite dish here is the teriyaki beef! The scallion pancakes are a wonderful comfort food. The service is great! We never wanted for anything. And whatever you order, add some eggs to it!!! They are so jammy and yummy! My husband loved the Mongolian beef. The rice is so yummy and the wontons are incredible!!!! I'm so happy we saw their post a couple weekends ago and tried them out. Definitely a new staple!
The food is great, i love the boba teas and wonton soup but its honestly CRAZY expensive for the quality and how much you get when you order. Ill come back with caution. You cannot order food for more than one person without having to spend $80+ on food as quick and simple as easy asian food.
Well, there's a first and last time for everything. I've never had carrots in a Kung Pao, and never paid so much for veggies that tasted more like a freezer than Kung Pao. There were no stir fried peppers and the peanuts weren't even cooked with the dish. My dining partner kept describing the egg drop as smelling bad. My hot and sour was unremarkable. We both liked the Takoyaki.
Hmmmm, where to start. This was my 1st visit. I was craving egg rolls and the smoothies in the pics looked good so I thought I’d try it. It was fresh! But definitely overpriced. They don’t sell combo plate so I had to buy 2 meals. The smoothie looks nothing like the picture. The lo mien noodles were overcooked. I asked if the silverware was in the bag, she said yes (it was not) that was important because I’m moving so everything is packed. I asked for soy sauce and she handed me 3 packets for two meals and sweet and sour cost me and extra .50 after spending $33 for the meal.
Foods decent, but when you make a 13$ meal 19$ just because someone is ordering on Uber Eats, when you are literally do nothing extra, and you are not having to pay anyone to deliver the food… that’s BS! What would be a 35$ order ends up being 70$ before any Uber Eats fees… yeah, you can keep your food. Yall should be ashamed.
I have been coming here for two years. I normally order the General Tso Chicken as an entree. Within the past 3-4 visits, the quality of the entree has extremely dropped off. the chicken used to be tender, lightly coated, and with an adequate amount of sauce to pour over the white rice. Today, my order is the worst it’s ever been. There is barely any sauce, leaving the chicken to be dry. The pieces are barely coated with the sauce. Before, sauce would cover the bottom. As you can see from the picture there is nothing. I’m not giving up on them. They usually have great food. I called and stated my observations. I hope they take they critique to heart, it seems like they were genuinely concerned.
Food was served nice and hot, but the flavors were off. Fried rice was a little bland but was OK. It had some wok hei that I was really wanting, but otherwise was not super noteworthy. Lo mein was very sweet and salty, and tasted more like american-style dishes similar to the flavors found in asian-inspired american grocery store offerings. I haven't tried other items on the menu. People were nice and quick to serve me despite coming in near closing, so really appreciative of that!
The food was not great, but not totally bad. The sweet and sour chicken had a ton of breading on it, so that was not good. The beef and broccoli was good. Orange chicken not so good. The ordering process seems inefficient. You order online or via phone and then you still have to wait in the drive thru line to pick it up. That makes no sense to me. What is the point of ordering ahead then? Also, they way they packaged the food caused sauce to spill all over the place. If they had just used 2 bags, instead of shoving it all in, it would not have spilled. The portion sizes were generous. Overall, not the best Chinese in town, but not the worst either.
Pretty bad..below average food. Fried Rice is dry, no veggies in it. entees taste on par with Panda Express, just more expensive. Egg rolls are bland, had a frozen taste to them. general Tsos wasn’t terrible.
I got the wanton ramen, but it was not good. The wanton filling had a strange taste and the ramen was not good, and the broth swelled weird. Boba was ok. Husband really liked the orange chicken/rice.
i usually love this place but they are slowly declining in quality. crab rangoons are getting skimpier and skimpier with the filling. i went and got some and two of them were basically empty. it was also my third time in a row getting bubble tea and most of the popping pearls were already popped. also the heavier set guy at the drive through isn’t the epitome of friendliness. and more recently, i asked for a remake as my tea tasted awful and bitter, maybe even spoiled, so they remade it and when i looked at the tea from the bottom of the cup, along w most of the popping pearls already being popped, there were small hairs and black specks floating around. it felt as if maybe they didn’t want to remake it and retaliated by doing something to my drink.when he handed it back to me, he did it quickly and didn’t even say a word. i’m so uncomfortable with getting food here now. sad to say i won’t be back
We placed an order online and picked it up earlier than expected time. The noddles and egg were cold, they all clumped together as one big ball, It was not flavorful and very salty. My boyfriends orange chicken was good in flavor but was very chewy and not easy to eat. At the end of the night we both got very sick and were in the bathroom multiple times even up at 5AM. I don’t believe the price we paid for the two entrees matched the quality and freshness.
I ordered the orange chicken for lunch today. Most of the time orange chicken comes with a few pieces of broccoli (none today). The flavor of the chicken was ok however the meat was terrible. It was almost a beef jerky consistency. They used the dark parts of the meat, and it doesn’t appear to have trimmed the fat. It was terribly chewy. Another wasted lunch trip. Won’t be back.
I come here a lot and I know they usually take Amin but the quality of food would make up for it. But Today I ordered some food, waited in drive thru got parked to wait some more.30 min later got my food. When I got home I was so disappointed in the quality. It’s like my food sat for a long time. Everything mushy. Only thing that was decent was the fried dumplings.I only live 5 min from hot shots.Unfortunately that was my last visit. I’ll be trying the big wok now
Tried it to see what the hype was about and was welcomed with a staple in my fried rice. Called to let them know and the response was “we’ll do better to ensure that no foreign objects get in our food”. After that, the man who answered the call seemed like it was a bother for me to bring it up. Looked at the reviews and noticed that someone found STEEL WOOL in their food as well. Food was fine, but not worth a potential trip to the hospital.
Came through the drive thru order was $18+ for a chicken ramen bowl and 2 spring rolls. I asked for a cup of ice the guy looked at me weird before giving me a Styrofoam cup that looked like someone had been biting it. I took it worried about how my food would come out if I declined it. I was told to pull to lane 1 I did just to get cold spring rolls. Look like a OLD EGG WITH A SMELL AND THE CHICKEN I GUESS IT WAS CHICKEN IN ADDITION TO COLD NOODLES, the kimchi was hard with brown bamboo shoots. I had been here prior once or twice and it was good but today HORRIBLE. Called to let him know how it was asked if I can come back. I told him only a 30 min lunch didn't even offer to come back another day just said ok. SOOO OKAY THIS IS THE REASON FOR THIS RATING. IF YOU WERE BUSY I DIDN'T MIND WAITING AS LONG AS THE FOOD WAS GOOD OF WHICH IT WAS NOT @ALL. I think the ingredients were just like that cup OLD. WOULD RATE A ZERO IF I COULD🤮🤮 I TRIED TO EAT IT BUT GOT SICK TO THE STOMACH 🤮
My family and I are looking for a new Chinese food place since the one we loved closed down. Read the reviews here and was hopeful, but this place was such a let down ☹️! We ordered Sesame chicken, Orange chicken (both with fried rice) and shrimp lo mein. The noodles were OK, but the chicken was rubbery and honestly not sure it was even chicken. The texture was just WRONG! The rice was bland and devoid of veggies and egg. My daughter said it tasted like chlorine🤢.Definitely not going back there. I felt compelled to give an honest review since the ones I read were so misleading; clearly done by owners or employees. After spending over 40 dollars on dinner, I had grilled cheese 😊😉
This placed used to be awesome and was a regular. I got sick from bad egg rolls and still came back. Ordered chicken fried rice and there was less than a 1/4 cup of chicken and egg combined on full order. It was 99 percent rice. This place has drastically gone down hill on quality of food and don’t know if I will be back.
I have never left a review, whether I liked the place or not, but I feel like people should be warned. They changed their prices and didn’t change their drive-thru board to reflect those prices so it’s more expensive than they show. On top of that for just drive thru they automatically charged people 20%, and when we asked how the extra almost $10 appeared on our card the guy got weird, and when he gave us our food never mentioned it again so we don’t even know if he ever fixed it like he said he would. I waited to leave the review until we got home and tried the food and it isn’t anything special, definitely not what I would expect for how much we paid. It just overall sucks when you drive to a place expecting to pay $20 because that’s what you can afford and then it ends up being $50 without them even telling you and then they get weird and flighty when you ask why. It just feels like they’re more concerned with scamming people to make money than their actual food or service. Will honestly never go back.
My wife went here on her way hom for the three of us. The first time for food from this place and the last . The chicken was super dry , my diner had a strange taste , the meat was like shoe leather and had a salt shacker on it . Their fried rice was the worst .We had three different meals and what they called spring rolls , nasty . To top it all off i found out it cost $117 for that mess .
This meal was pretty expensive for what we got and they still only gave us 1 rice for 3 meals. Then one plate was completely wrong, which we didn’t know until we got home 20 minutes later. It was a chicken dish, but we had ordered pork tonkatsu. We tried the meal they gave us, rather than go all the way back to the restaurant, and it was awful. The breading tasted like cardboard and the chicken was dried out. The other two chicken dishes were two different entrees but tasted exactly the same. I ordered a separate fried rice and didn’t get it at all. They didn’t include or ask if we needed any condiments. Overall, not at all happy with our first experience with this restaurant.
Do not recommend, employees do not wear gloves or hair nets , when handling food , I ordered to go and to my surprise when arriving home there was pubic hairs in my food , absolutely disgusting as I had already served my family , not to mention they have pets in the back , this place is breaking many health code violations.
Will NOT be getting food from here again!!! We wanted to try a new place local to us and first of all the food is over priced definitely not worth it as it wasn’t good at all. Second , While my husband was picking up the food they had a cat roaming around inside which is ABSOLUTELY Disgusting!!!
At one time this was a good Chinese food but the past couple of times the quality has dropped below acceptable food. Will never return
Attention !!!!! If you are reading this don’t eat here or pay attention to your food and check it. save yourself from disappointment and disgust. I ordered a large size lo mein. I was hungry I had just finished work , when i got home I opened my box I started to eat my lo mein. I couldn’t help but feel something hairy in my mouth when I took the food out of my mouth and checked it, I was in disbelief in what I was looking at . My eyes confirmed it , it was 100% pubic hairs I started to go through my food and more showed up I threw away my entire plate and I’m never going back to hot spots again
As we walked in there were lights flickering and the whole place looked sketched. Me and my girlfriend decided to look past it and head on in, we were hoping it was some bomb, hole in the wall Asian spot. We were greeted nicely by a nice gentleman and told him we were dining out. We ordered the orange chicken and steamed rice. Let me tell you this has the weirdest consistency i have ever tasted. It was either not fried all the way or they used horrible batter. It was grainy and pasty. They also mentioned if we gave them a 5 star review they'd give us a free tea...👎👎👎 the taste was fine can't expect much from a place like this but this was beyond subpar. Last but not least we payed around 28 dollars for a meal and 2 drinks. For this price I'd rather go to chilis or some place with actual food.
