Jason's Deli Denton Reviews
We came in for lunch and Angelo who took our order was vey kind and all smiles. He was very patient with us as we did take awhile to decide on our order. Thank you Angelo for your kindness!
I stopped by for lunch today and the young lady that took my order was very nice. They had just opened and she made sure I had everything I needed and was very friendly. I always look at name tags but I did not this time as I was in my own mind overthrowing things today but I wanted to give a shout out.
Morgan was very professional and thoughtful. Very good experience. Delivered on time. Food was excellent. This was a personal event.
We've been here twice. It's a typical Jason's Deli, so no need to comment on the food options. This place does it as well as any other Jason's. The staff are friendly, the restaurant clean, and the food is fresh. No complaints.
We go here for their salad bar frequently. You get all you can eat and the salad bar is very well stocked with items - eggs, salad materials, bacon bits, breads, etc. The store is clean and service is quick. The folks that work there are very nice and obviously care about what they do. Two folks can have all you can eat salad bar, including self-serve ice cream, for under $25. You won't leave hungry. Definitely a place of a quick, casual and healthy meal.
I always receive the best customer service at this location. Today, a worker named Dylan took my order and when I was leaving he took it upon himself to come from behind the counter and open the door for me as he noticed my hands well full. Aside from the service their salad bar is always fresh.
I'm visiting friends here. They talked about it and we went for lunch and find out that is really, well this is my second time in two days🤣🤣🤣🤣. Sandwiches are very good. The salad bar is insane good. They also have little soft serve cones for free, I couldn't believe it.Employees are very nice, service was very fast.
Salad bar was very fresh and clean with several toppings and dressings to choose from. Manager of store (or owner, not sure) was loudly grilling staff members in front of customers, which was uncomfortable.
The thing I really like about Jason's Deli is the salad bar, which costs only about $12 per person. This includes multiple visits to the salad bar, which makes for a really good deal. Additionally, it's one of the few healthy yet affordable options out there. I've visited multiple locations and this restaurant in Denton is clean, quiet and provides excellent service, just like the others I have been to. I recommend this place for the salad bar. Other options like the sandwiches are OK too, but do not stand out.
Good food, fair prices, friendly service staff. Plenty of seating, laid back environment and plenty of menu options. Really nice salad bar with lots of options. Had a nice visit and we were able to have a conversation at a normal volume. Plenty of places to park, clean restrooms. Can’t go wrong at This location.
It's not what I expected. You order at the counter like a fast food joint. You only get one trip to the salad bar, and there is no meat whatsoever on it. None. Well, there's bacon bits. They have a lot of different dressings, but none of them are labeled so it's a crap shoot as to what kind you're getting. It's not like they just have ranch and thousand Island. There are several different dressings that look like ranch. It's way overpriced for one little plate of salad.
Service was great, food was mediocre, atmosphere was quiet and tables were sticky and dusty. Don't get the chicken pot pie soup, gross!
Haven’t been here before. I ordered the Italian Cruz Po Boy with chips and a pickle. I didn’t want the vinaigrette on the sandwich and subbed that for mayo… couldn’t be more disappointed when I opened up my box. Sandwich is bone dry. No stone ground mustard or mayo. And one single piece of salami on the whole sandwich? That’s wild. There’s two pieces of “Italian” peppers on the sandwich. And brown lettuce. Very unenthused about getting this for lunch.
Lackluster. My brother and I each got a bowl of chicken noodle soup. There were three other customers in the store in Denton about 1pm, and two customers more came in after we ordered and sat down. After about ten minutes I asked my brother how long he thought it took to ladle some soup into some bowls. He said he was just about to ask me the same thing. A couple of minutes later, a guy brought our soup. I asked a woman stocking the salad bar if there were any crackers. She said they had trouble getting them delivered, but to her credit she went into the kitchen and found two packs for us. The soup had a hearty salty broth, but little else. A few small tidbits of chicken (my brother noted a can of Campbells had more, but mine had more), a bit of small chopped carrot, and I counted four short noodles.
I’ve come here a lot in the past since it’s on my way home. The past few months it seems to be getting progressively worse. The ingredients aren’t as fresh as they used to be. Wether it’s old lettuce, warm dressing, or dirty eggs. The portions are also smaller then it used to be. The last three times I was there it’s been the same short guy making the food, I dread seeing him knowing I’ll be getting a smaller amount of food then what other locations give for the same order. The front check out girls could smile and try to be a little friendly too. Think it’s time I find a new place till standards are brought back up to what they used to be.
Very rude staff one guy at the register i think his name was rak yelled at my daughter and her friends because he said they “were laughing at him for the way he talks” but they very clearly were not and just having there own conversation that he butted into. good food but very rude staff.
So disappointed with my Cesar salad. How can someone mess up on making a Cesar salad? The salad was not chopped properly, the romaine lettuce was just thrown in a container with huge chunks. The dressing was watered down instead of having a creamy texture, tastes awful! The chicken looks like canned chicken and unflavored. Over priced for the lazy worker put behind a simple salad!
