I ate here tonight. I wasn't sure what to get for one of my pick 2 and the cashier was really helpful. Usually when you go to a restaurant like this they are too busy to help. She gave me a recommendation and was just overall friendly. The price was a little high but once the food came out I knew why. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. I had the Tuscan sandwich and chicken pesto gourmet pizza. Both were so so good! Also the restaurant was really clean and looked like it had just been through a renovation. I could also tell that they were well staffed. Always a plus!!

I was so blown away by Zion’s AMAZING customer service, he really made mine and my boyfriend’s day. He was professional, kind and courteous, awesome and fantastic. When he brought our food to our table, we noticed how on top of his game he was. It was busy, yet he was Brilliant the entire time. Such a pure joy to share our lunch hour at Schlotzsky’s and witness Zion’s above and beyond customer service. He really encouraged my spirits with his Great Attitude and bright smile, such a pleasure!!!

Today, 3/31/2021. I stopped in for lunch, WOW what a terrific experience! For the moment I was greated, to the moment I left two female employees made me feel important. They were friendly, smiles on their faces an exceptional service! They looked to me as though they really enjoyed their jobs. I feel terrible that I ask their names but got busy on the phone with a work issue and have forgotten their names. Schlotzsky's is lucky to have them representing their brand! I won’t spend my money if I get poor customer service during the order process, which happens more often than not in Denton - that’s why you’re being replaced by kiosks! . This place is always exceptional when it comes to their customers! So reliable. I also really enjoyed The Original, made just how I like it!

I placed an online order and when I went to pick it there had been a mixup and my order had been given to another customer. Cory was very apologetic and got me my order as fast as he could. He wanted to make sure my sandwich was hot and fresh and even threw in some cookies since I had to wait a bit longer. He went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. 1st time there & wow. it was great, i had sm avocado turkey sandwich with broc. cheese soup, stuffed & very happy with them. Soup was still very hot after a good 20 minute drive home. Husband loved his sandwich.

I went through the drive-through around 1 PM Aug 5th, and had a really great experience with the two running the drive-through. Especially during these times of an entire global pandemic, I understand it can be hard to be cheerful working in an essential fast food restaurant, but Cory and Alejandra were super sweet, articulated, and quick! Lately I’ve been kind of losing my faith in drive-through‘s and in just fast food restaurants in general, because I always seem to have a not so fun experience, but my visit with these two has regained my faith haha! From somebody who has worked in customer service and knows what these people have to deal with, I’m super glad to see such cheerfulness that made my experience much better! I hope this review is seen and they, Alejandra and Cory, are recognized for their job well done!

I got the Original Turkey on Gluten Free bread. Really good. I also got the potato soup because it is gluten free too, that was also very good. The store was very clean and the workers were very friendly.

Fresh & clean! Food was GREAT!

A group of us have gone here a couple of Friday nights for a late dinner. The food is consistent and fresh. The service good. The employees are attentive and Maddie even cleared our dishes. She impressed me as being a team player, putting the business and customers needs first. You just can't beat a place that smells like cinnamon!

The kindness and selflessness shown by this manager has touched my heart in so many ways. They reminded me of the importance of community. I did not catch their name but they deserve recognition. With a good number of vegetarian options Schlotzsky's never disappoints me. A nice and wonderful Schlotzsky's location in Denton. Pretty spacious and not too crowded. Excellent service, cleanly maintained, and quick order and delivery. Perfect for every day. The cutlery and things like crushed red pepper are inside and inaccessible from the dining area. That is somewhat of a surprise compared with my experience with others. Enjoyed the well made vegetarian pizza 🍕.

Today was the first time i've been to this Schlotzsky's, it smelt so good when i walked in. The service was great and quick but they could be a little cheaper.. I mean i could've made what i purchased at home. I guess you pay for convenience.

Very good food for an okay price. Off one star because I asked for no salami on a sandwich, but it came with salami on it. When I asked that this be corrected, I received a very standoffish response.

Honestly if you’re visiting Texas you have to try this place out, 4 stars only because the bread wasn’t all the best and the fresh lemonade and teas tasted kinda old. But it’s to be okay expected really it’s still a fast food establishment. Their giant is cut into 4 squares so you can even share one sandwich it’s that filling.

I cannot eat their turkey anymore due to the high content of pepper. However my family loves all the sandwiches there. I love the California Pizza and get it on Wednesdays through the app when it's BOGO.

We wanted a big, healthy, fresh salad, and that's what we received. Both of us had the cranberry apple pecan chicken salad. Huge bowl, extra fresh, & very delicious. Clean place, bathrooms clean. Staff not overly friendly or bubbly but nice. Only downside is the parking lot. One tiny entrance right at the corner of Carroll & University Dr, so expect to turn in quickly! We will definitely be back, it's a place we could eat very frequently. Cost for two salads $15.98 + tax. We had water to drink as usual. Try this place!

Update: 3/18/'17 Addicted to the original Schlotzsky's for years and years. So good! Now they have a drive-thru, newish bigger close-in building, delicious desserts, and a lot of windows! A light and bright place to visit with a friend while enjoying some original 'Texas cuisine'. Very clean. Reasonable prices.

Average pace service and a nice area inside. There are a very nice selection of seating options (booths, tables, bar/work station, circular, and rectangle). That have Tv's (muted most of the time) and some computers and a computer work space. I prefer the Ham and Cheese Original (and the medium is quite plenty for most average eaters).

I love this location. The food is always fresh. The inside is clean and inviting. The customer service here is great. You can see the place from the roadway. It’s in a great location. Definitely a returning customer.

Other than it costing too much money, me, my sister, and a long-time kind and generous friend, (she was the one who treated us out for lunch)-all of us enjoyed the sandwiches and chips! It was very delicious and made with carre...the bread was very nicely toasted and the meat and vegetables with cheese and spread were all perfect!

Ate here on my lunch. Not too far from my campus. Parking was pretty tight during lunch hours. There was a line but it moved pretty fast. There was ample seating to accommodate all the patrons. Everything I ordered came out exactly as I ordered it and tasted great. The only reason it is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is pricing and parking. For the portion you receive, it should definitely be dropped a dollar or two. I wish it was cheaper/more affordable. This isn't some place I could eat at everyday but their quality was great. I would consider coming to eat here again but definitely not an everyday type of place.

Food is always good and it's always clean. The only problem is it's often crowded and the parking is very small. You can spend 5 minutes looping through waiting for a space.

First I ordered on Door Dash who canceled the order but didn't refund the purchase so I then decided to just go in and pick it up. The young man took my order and even repeated it to me for verification due to food allergies, wouldn't you know the people in the kitchen didn't read the order and gave me tomatoes on my side salad and since I picked it up to take my son his soup I didn't think to look and correct the issue I just threw it in the trash

They removed the two things I always order: side salad and personal pizza. It was perfect for one person. I went today, my order was double the cost, I asked why. It was a huge salad and a large pizza. On my most hungry day I can’t eat that much. They said my two favorite items were removed from the menu. I guess I need to find another pizza & salad place.

Good sandwich (when made correctly). However, the thin girl behind the register acted like she was at a funeral, didn't say thanks, or even "hey." Last time they put nothing on one sandwich but a small amount of meat and some cheese. Check before leaving. The Original was made really well, and was very good.

Don't get me wrong-- I love Schlotzsky's. So being dissatisfied with their food has never been an issue until now. I got the Angus beef & cheese which was a definite letdown. The small amount of beef on this sandwich was more like a teaser and the cheese was virtually nonexistent. Not my idea of a roast beef sandwich, this only tasted like 'salad on a bun.' And for a $6 sandwich, I feel like I got ripped.

I'm pretty sure I just got poisoned by some old broccoli soup. We ordered a canzone for wife and little one to sjare. It was perfect but my pizza crust was soggy and broccoli soup was like poison.

Pulled up for to go. The sign says to call for pickup. I called and they took my name. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting. Nobody ever came so I called again and they told me I could just come through the drive thru. So I wait through the line and finally get to the window to get my order. Drove 3 blocks only to find one of my cinnabons is missing and have to go back for it.

Odd situation happened to me. I ordered three chipotle chicken sandwiches and they confirmed it. But gave me three sandwiches with pepperoni, turkey, salamia and olives. Yuck! I went through the drive thru and got home and figured out it was the wrong thing. I didn't want to drive all the way back so I picked apart my sandwich and she ate it. I had a simple order and they turned it to a complicated one! Lol. They might have gotten the order mixed up and it might have been mistake. So just make sure you check your order and not be a hungry impatient person just wanting to get home and eat it without checking like I did.

Don’t get me wrong, me and my family LOVE Schlotzsky’s but this location can be a bit frustrating. I don’t normally write review but we’ve ordered from them several times and have had multiple instances where things we ordered are forgotten or seemingly ignored. Our most recent experience, I ordered via Grubhub because I’m not able to leave the house, and they included the wrong chips and also forgot apple juice for my daughter. Things that I very clearly ordered which can be a bit frustrating when you pay for them. So warning: if you order from them, do so in person and check your meal before you leave.

Got a burnt pizza wouldn't replace it because manager on site said it would effect their food cost. Demanded full refund of the $68 I just paid for sll my food. Decided to remake pizza. Customer should always be compensated if order is burnt. Simple.

Typically like this place, but they charged me almost 6 dollars for a side of au jus, something they do free at most places..... So dissapointed, me and business group will likely not return....unless someone cares enough to address this....what a disaster.

Over year ago ordered Tuscan with NO tomatoes. Well lots tomatoes on my sandwich. Had allergic reaction and had to leave work early. Called manager several times which she never called me back. Today, 1/16/2021 around 1:30pm-2:00pm tried again. Order an original and again Tuscan NO TOMATOES. Window gal was very nice and really liked talking to my dogs felt good with order. BIG MISTAKE. Went home ate bite into half of Tuscan. One bite bam pulled out again tomatoes. Checked other side and oh yes! Dumped entire sandwich. Reaction wasn't as bad as 1st time but took benadryl and inhaler to help. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO UNIVERSITY, DENTON TEXAS RESTAURANT AGAIN! Our old Schlotzsky's on 288 closed, probably because they were so inconsistent and terrible , but after visiting the one on University I'm beginning to think this is just the MO got the franchise. I placed an order online , drove all the way here , got home, only to realize they didn't include any of our chips. I called and they just asked if I wanted a refund. Yeah , I do, but an apology would be nice, and maybe a sandwich, or soup for our trpubles.

Ordered the French dip, menu read that it comes with saute onions after having it replaced because of a hair in the bread was told that they never had saute onions at there establishment. Then whey have it on the menu that it comes with it. I didn't order hair in the bread .

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by for lunch. When we were greeted at the counter, the employees continually disrupted us trying to order. The employees behind the counter kept having side conversations and cutting us off while ordering. My boyfriend specifically ordered a large ruben on dark rye. He made sure to mention it more than once. When he got his order, it was a large Ruben on white. He took it up to the counter and the woman told him that they "don't make large rubens with dark rye." My boyfriend has eaten at other Schlotzskys locations, and they've had no problem giving him large ruben on rye. I don't understand why they didn't tell him at the register originally that yall don't make large with dark rye. I also don't understand why this location wasn't able to make his property order if other locations had no issues? I understand if they were out of the large dark rye, but he wasn't given that explanation.

I was not impressed this time around. The food has changed. ingredients or something doesn't taste good and wasn't worth eating. Soup isn't the same and the sourdough is different.

Literally the last four times I have been I have thrown away the food. I ordered a cheese pizza and got pepperoni, I don't eat meat so makes me very upset when it is made wrong.

Came in 20 minutes before closing and had to deal with a female worker with a bad attitude because of my timing. Not only that but I get food poisoning the next day and had to deal with a awful stomach ache and vomiting. Next time don’t be so condescending and serve me tainted food because of a small inconvenience. This store needs to rehire or manage their workers better. Never coming back here again.

I have been to this location many times over the years. This evening I spent 20 minutes in the drive-through line and then they gave me the wrong order. I noticed before I drove off and got the correct order but they gave me the wrong dressing and forgot to give me a breadstick. The girl did not apologize for the long wait and simply said: I know we are short staffed and backed up. I did not even get a receipt so I have no idea how much I paid for my order! This happened at the location in Cross Roads several years ago and I wrote a review and warned that they would be going out of business is this continued. Sure enough they closed down several months later

Their cinnabon! Was HORRIBLE! HARD & the icing isn't made like it use to! Taste more like cake icing! It was just horrible! I only tried to scuff down half! It was hard after placing it in microwave! Sad sad! This was a no way shall I go back! Ugh!! If I could give it a dot for a star! I would

Three of the last five times I've been to this location my order has been incorrect. The orders are not special, the sandwiches are ordered without mayo or mustard. When looking at the receipt everything is correct, which indicates the problem is in the kitchen. I rather go to the south Denton location even though this one is only three minutes away.

Schlotskys at this location is a disgrace. Look forward to them chapter 11 again as prices are too high for a sandwich shop. Was willing to pay unfortunately no one working at this location. In line for 20min and still 4 cars deep. Good luck to this place, 3 cars left along with me being the fourth, not a good sign for success;).

After explaining she watched me on camera struggle to change my tire throughout the day and seeing the note on my car with my number explaining I need a tire key, she decided to tow me the next morning. It was her admittance that my car was towed be I didn't speak to her directly, that she forgot to call my number like I forgot to tell management after hours when I got the flat or before opening hours when I came back to try to change the tire without a key be no auto shops are allowed to own them and no parts store had my key.... I ordered them and back back to my car towed... I'm a very respectful and outgoing person, 1 volunteer many hours to community outreach and NP bc I'm on disability. It truly did slip my mind to talk to them bc I was at the back of the building.. it would have bothered me significantly less if I was told she HAD to tow my car but to hear that if I would have simply THOUGHT to just show common courtesy then she would have CHOSEN to show me decency... this month is going to be fun, I'll just sleep allot to avoid some cost of living.

Ordered 13 lunches today & one lunch was missed all together from the order during our lunch meeting. Went back to store & Xander manager offered to give the item with no recourse on for the time & energy that I had to do to notify them. No offer to delivery the missed item, coupon for a any item free of charge or anything to drink while I waited on the food item that was missed. He stated he would get into trouble with his Megan Hamilton (GM) if he gave any compensation. Once he went back in the food area, he sent other team members to speak with me. This store has very poor customer service. I would avoid ordering luncheons. Poor service! They said they are not apart of the Scholzchy's franchise & you could really tell the difference.
