I don't use the term "greasy spoon" in a deragatory way when I say this is a typical "greasy spoon" diner. The food is great. Big portions. Nothing fancy, but you will NOT leave hungry or disappointed. Coffee is great too. Great locals atmosphere with friendly staff. If you find yourself in DeRuyter in need of a really great breakfast then this is the place!!

My grandma used to be a regular here and even over a decade later, it is consistently good with how I remember it. There are specials that change and some staple dishes. I ordered the hot pepper patty sandwich with home fries, and OJ.

I came in the this morning was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in I sat down the waitress came over took my order and then immediately my food arrived she was really nice kind and the place itself was all around amazing I recommend

The garlic wings mixed with Buffalo sauce are amazing and we loved the garlic knots. Pizza sauce and tender crust are top notch. I am huge on wings being tender and a lot of places I've been to I sometimes ask them do the minimum safe time in the fryer because they end up tough. Not here, they were so tender.
