Kind and polite staff, traditional italian atmosphere and good foods. It is in the centre of the town. I had a great experience here and I was surprised to see later that it has a bad rating.

We had a most lovely homemade noodle dishes + homemade pesto! Absolutely nice - we loved every bite and finished with a heavenly Tiramisu. Any time again :)

Probably the most authentic Italian food during our stay in Desenzano. We were attentively looked after, with explanations for each course. The wine we initially chose we were informed had run out, but an alternative was recommended, and it proved to be equally good. The food was delicious, well cooked, well presented, and we did not feel we were being rushed to vacate the table. Overall excellent. Would certainly go back again! It was also good to see other Italian families enjoying a meal here!

Wonderful place in the center of Desenzano! Very tasty seafood (pasta allo scoglio 11/10!) and pasta al ragù, delicious fish plates. We have been back everyday during our several days stay in Desenzano and have never been disappointed. Big portions, nice variety of drinks and very friendly staff. We definitely will be back next time we visit the city.

Really friendly staff, polite and taking great care with hygiene. We really enjoyed the meat and cheese platter. The pizza was not classic Italian style (what do I know as a Scot ) but still tasty and great value. Thanks to the waitresses for being so kind and patient with us. Grazie millie.

Fermata a pranzo approfittando del menù a 15€. Quello che immagino sia il proprietario, che ci ha preso l’ordinazione, non è stato il massimo della cortesia, mentre il resto del personale è stato molto cordiale. Cibo tutto sommato buono, pasta al nero di seppia un po’ insapore e stracotta, bigoli alla crema di zafferano e trota salmonata buoni, anche questi un po’ avanti di cottura. Prosciutto buono, melone caldo, magari poteva stare in frigo un po’ di più. Qualità prezzo relativamente giusta.

Primi piatti ottimi, spaghetti con carciofi e vongole, particolari e molto buoni! Locale semplice, accogliente, in piazza Malvezzi, suggestiva 🌹 I fiori veri al posto di quelli finti sarebbero più d'effetto, una rinfrescata ai divanetti e sarebbe tooop! ✨ Bravi!

Ristorante in centro, personale gentile. Prezzi nella media. Pizza discreta.buono il dolce Menu un po' turistico ma ci sta vista la zona.

Ha preso il menù del giorno e devo dire che i piatti sono stati buoni, ottimo il servizio e la gentilezza. Al di là di ogni aspettativa.👏

Don't be fooled by the modern glass extension on the front. Behind this is a really odd traditional little trattoria. Food was good - we had beef carpaccio, then primi of seafood spaghetti and lasagne. The tiramisu came in an individual pot, rather than a slice from a larger tray, which made me think it was bought-in, but it was pretty good. The waiter was great and overall, recommended.

You can choose two dishes for 12 euro as a day deal. I had a decent gnocchi dish and a usual brie cheese. Coffee cost 1,5, and cappuccino is 2,5. A little bottle of water is 1.5 euro.

Posticino piccolo ma accogliente, personale cordiale e simpatico. Il cibo nella media e anche i prezzi. Il prosecco era veramente buono. Se si viene a Desenzano e si vuole un posticino calmo e non spendere tanto lo consiglio

Domenica a pranzo con menu a 18€, cibo buono e dosi giuste, quello che mi ha molto infastidito è stata l’operatrice sul banco, ha trattato malissimo il cameriere in sala, sempre a voce alta, oltretutto lui bravissimo, gentile.

Slow service, waited for over 30 minutes for the food. The outdoor chairs were dirty and the sofa seats sank which made it hard to sit on. Food itself is ok, seafood dishes were not bad.

Il cibo non è malvagio e alcuni ragazzi dello staff sono anche simpatici ma dover chiedere per qualsiasi cosa ai camerieri... dal sale, all olio e via dicendo non è il massimo. Soprattutto è inammissibile il fatto di togliere il piatto da sotto il naso del cliente mentre sta finendo di mangiare. Capisco la fretta dovuta dai tanti coperti da seguire ma si dovrebbe chiedere prima di farlo in ogni caso.

It seems like a cute little italian restaurant with good prices. But the quantity of food was not worth the price we needed to pay. The service was good but not the quality an italian restaurant needs to have we waited often for new drinks or the payment.

Food over priced €10 for a caprese salad that had a quarter of a tomato on it. €14 for some frozen supermarket breaded prawns. Nice spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood pasta) and decent portion size but all the food needed salt and pepper Cacio e Pepe had no pepper… Service was quite slow

I think I'm being a bit generous with this review but we did finish the meal. Coming from Scotland and given I've had a full holiday of great Italian food I expected better I suppose. But the food here is not good. I had half a lasagne with which reminded me of back home, wet and OTT with the cheese. I had half as I swapped meals with my girlfriend after seeing her face when she tasted it. I ordered macaroni with meat sauce which tasted overly salty and was very greasy. We had to ask for bread, which I'm sure I might have been charged for but I didn't bother to check my receipt as I would have ended up raging if I had been. The lone waiter was under pressure and clearly had a lot on his plate and forgot simple things like water when it was ordered. The daquiri I got to drink was also not very good. This review may seem like I'm a bit up myself but it really wasn't upto scratch and this is shown in other recent reviews. The service charge is also a bit annoying considering the service received. I feel sorry for the waiter as the place could be turned around with a new chef and some support for him instead of one other member of staff who solely made drinks. Considering the location you would be far better going to La Brasserie or La Taverna Del Garda as they do far better food at the same price.

fate attenzione quando siete all'ingresso, si confonde molto con l'osteria città accanto. Siamo entrati per sbaglio qui, ecco siamo stati quasi truffati, se leggevamo le recensioni non entravamo. Ecco cosa è successo: dopo 40 minuti di attesa ci ha finalmente portato tutti piatti insieme ( non avevamo detto questa cosa, ok non importa ) ora andiamo su cibo. Spaghetti con orata pomodorini olive erano immangiabili, salatissimi e orata era pieno di spine grosse, abbiamo chiesto cambio di un altro primo ( gnocchetti), ma sfortunatamente anche carpaccio con insalatina aveva un odore di muffa acida, sapore molto strano, abbiamo detto alla ragazza cameriere di cambiarcela un altro piatto, ora lei comincia a discutere e sgridare a noi, la abbiamo chiamata sempre in modo gentile, invece lei fare le parole ironiche.. venuto poi il capo un uomo, fanno la stessa squadra e non ammettono la qualità su cibo. Alla fine del conto, vediamo, abbiamo preso soltanto una trofia pesto nel menù fisso, ci ha calcolato comunque 15€ ( come scritto, c'e un coperto incluso, ci ha calcolato altri 4 coperti. ) abbiamo mangiato malissimo, e siamo trattati malissimo. Ovvio non se ne fregano nulla di noi turisti, ma fate attenzione, leggete bene le recensioni. Esperienza pessima.

La peggiore pizza della mia vita! Il menù scritto a penna, senza neanche scrivere gli ingredienti sotto i nomi dei piatti e la pizza precotta con un goccio di pomodoro che è rimasto crudo, un pò di mozzarella per mio marito che ha preso una bufala e per me che ho preso una vegetariana come base la stessa cosa ma in più solo 2 fette di zucchine e 2 di melanzane! Immangiabile! Il servizio lento, non preparato ed a tratti anche scocciato! Non consiglio assolutamente!

Posizione ottima in centro a Desenzano del Garda, personale disponibile e cibo... Accettabile. Inutile commentare il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Se volete esser trattati con arroganza dal cameriere andate pure. Tempi di attesa molto lunghi ed il cibo nulla di speciale. La pizza assomigliava alla pizza “Regina” nota marca del supermercato, poco condita e mancante di alcuni ingredienti. Mai più

Never ever again! The service regularly forgot us - the food took over 1,5h to arrive. The food and drinks were okay, but not worth their money. They really need to improve and get more customer orientated.

The pasta was grose, sticky and greasy, smells like burned fish. I couldn't belive you can make pasta or any meal taste so bad. Please avoid this place, it is obvious there is someone in the kitchen that doesnt know what he's doing. The daily menu price looks decent at first, but it really doesn't worth it. This was by far the worst food we had in our vacation here.

Terrible! I went there with my family, we are only in three btw, and the service and the food was so bad! Just to order the drinks we waited more than 15min, we were so worried about the time for ordering the food that we just ordered all together, a pizza, a lasagna and the special menu with pasta and fish they had and we waited about an hour to get the terrible food we had in Italy! If you want to eat well in Garda, don’t go there!

We came here 20 august 2022. This cafe restaurant il well located, comfortable, the barman/boss is friendly one of the waitress also, but there is a big problem for a restaurant: the food is not good, not good at all. Every thing came out of cans! Tomato concentrate on the pizza, canned mushrooms on the pasta,…Please hire a cook!

Disappointing pizza, which is hard to do in Italy. Ordered the Bufalina pizza which was swimming in water (zoom in on the seemingly nice photo). I know that bufula mozzarella is usually very watery, but this pizza was a soggy disappointment. And it was incredibly difficult to cut. I had to ask for a steak knife, and even then, it was so challenging to cut with a knife and fork because the pizza kept slipping and sliding off the plate (hard to control). The wobbly table and very slow service added to a disappointing dinner. (Husband’s spaghetti carbonara wasn’t bad though.) After acqua, two beers, one spritz, one pizza, and one pasta dish, our total was 40€. Meh.

People who are posting this 5stars reviews probably never tried proper Italian food. Disgusting pizza with sea food full of sand and little pieces of shells. Terrible service. Just go inside and see how clean it is. I have never seen that dirty restaurant. For now definitely the worst restaurant experience in Italy. Can be perfect place for tourist who are trying Italian cuisine for the first time. And owner is playing with this fact.

Little to no service at all here. We waited 5 minutes to be seated only to wait another 10 minutes for the waiter to provide menues. Upon another 25 minute rest at the table, we flagged down the same waiter to signal our intent to eat. He asked us to wait an additional 2 minutes whilst he cleared up a table - which was reasonable but he never returned. We decided to follow a couple who arrived before us out of the restaurant as well without being served and travelled to the opposite pizzeria who served us in no time at all! Perfect, not like this place.. Pros: Central location within Desenzano's Town Square. Cons: Don't expect to eat food here. No service. AT.
