Triple C Steakhouse Devine Reviews
It's a family friendly restaurant with tender, juicy steaks seasoned lightly, and fresh crispy, salads. The Wednesday all you can eat seafood is very affordable!
Great service and great food, old time feeling where the staff wanted to take good care of us and provide a great experience which they did. Highly recommend!
Excellent place for dinner, we had a steak and it was so delicious, staff really nice. The only problem was a piña colada that had no taste at all and every time I’ve ordered there it’s always the same. Bartender needs to learn how it should be made.
Service was awesome. My wife and I celebrated our 37th anniversary. I had seafood buffet. She had steak, mash potatoes and vegetables
Outstanding. Service food flavor atmosphere. I'm picky and like good flavor warm food and good service and they hit all the good spots. Burger was exactly how I asked for it over well done. Fries were hot onion rings had fresh oil and flavor. Overall exceptional service. Prompt refills no need to ask even though it was busy.
My husband is very picky and asked for a chared burger. He got exactly what he wanted and raved about it the whole meal. I had steak fingers which are made from scratch. They were amazing! We also tried the onion rings and chips and salsa. Everything we ate was so good! I would totally recommend this place to others.
Shrimp was really good. Very good bread. Onion rings were 5 out of 10. Definitely will be back to try the chicken fried steak. Great service!
DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST STEAKS I HAVE EVER HAD! I'm glad we decided to stop here instead of waiting until we got to San Antonio. We enjoyed the retro, country style decor of the place and friendly service. I swear nothing has changed in this place since I was a kid - except the salad bar was closed. We started off with fried mushrooms, which were small and really just ok. I preferred the ranch to the gravy for dipping. My son found a breaded clump of that soil mushrooms are grown in...🧐 mistakes happen ? 🤷♂️ Other than that, everything was excellent! My daughter really enjoyed her chicken and dumplins soup, and my son enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger - although I thought the price didn't match up to size, a 1/3 lb patty that sermed more like 1/4lb? with chips...fries $2.50 extra, so about $14.95 ??? It was a lot of good-looking bread, but I would stick with the real winner here, the steaks! My wife got a delicious chicken fried steak, the smaller portion, that had a flavorful and crispy crust and good, tender meat. The gravey could be A LOT better, but the salad and potato were EXCELLENT! When in Rome... since we were in cattle country, I went with their 16oz Ribeye and whoo-daddy, was I impressed! Worth every penny. It was juicy, cooked to a perfect medium, and had such great beef flavor...Fantastic! The loaded baked potato was also perfection. Soft and piping hot throughout with absolutely no hard undercooked spots like many other places. THIS PLACE DEFINITELY KNOWS ITS MEAT & POTATOES! Although I may not have been impressed with everything, I will definitely be back for the great service, the steak & baked potato, and I may even try their shrimp next time. It's definitely worth the road trip if you're in the surrounding area. 🔥👍
Outstanding. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming. She sat us promptly. First time ever eating here and they hit it out the ball park. The food is very good. We did have a party of 8 and just a heads up there is a 18% gratuity add on for parties of 6+. I had the top butt 14oz Medium of course. Baked potato and house salad. Their sourdough like bread and butter is also awesome. All in all this is a must try.
We went for lunch on a Sunday. It was packed, but we had absolutely amazing service. They have a very robust menu with sandwiches, burgers, seafood, steaks, lots of different appetizers, salads, and some delicious looking pies and cakes. I had the buffet, which was a rather eclectic mix of enchiladas, fried catfish, green beans, corn, stuffed peppers, and cake for $12.95. No complaints about the buffet food. My companions had the filet, which was reasonable and perfectly cooked, and the chicken fried steak, also good. The sweet potato fries were extremely tasty, very buttery and they melted in your mouth. Very basic decor, just simple tables and chairs, with taxidermy scattered throughout and hundreds of cattle brands on the walls. It's not a new building, and the restroom could have used some attention. But overall this is a solid place.
Order an 8 OZ rib eye like I usually do and it look like they took a meat masher to it. It was not a 33.00 steak. Brought to manager and she explained new butcher and she was teaching him herself and the explanation was not satisfying especially when she could see my friends rub eye and mine. My friend had a rib eye too and you could have stack 3 of mine and still would not of had the thickness of hers. I will go back but I won’t be ordering a rib eye for a while.
The good: Violet was a great host. Atmosphere is also great. House salads were fantastic! Very fresh and yummy! The bad: Steaks were very mediocre and not seasoned. I was very disappointed. We ordered a ribeye and sirloin medium and there was no flavor and was very chewy and fat. Seemed like very cheap pieces of meat for what we paid. The diet coke was flat. I might gave this try again but probably will try the burger.
I m disappointed as a first time dinner at the steakhouse. We ordered Tripple C steak 🥩 for two and beef tortilla soup as appetizer. The beef tortilla soup was really good, savory and tasty. Seasoned and cooked well. But not steak. I was hungry, the meat was really tough with tendons. I had 3 bites and decided not to finish it because I had to chew it forever. I Told the waitress about the meat, 1/3 of my portion are full of tendons. She said “Yah, if you have those parts, they are tough. “ My water class was empty and she never came to fill my glass…. 🤨. Well not a pleasant experience!
NO! I didn’t like anything about this place. Let’s start with the appearance, looks like an old cafeteria it’s worn down, smelled funky and the carpet was worn out and dirty. The food is just as bad. I ordered my steak medium rare and got it well done. I ordered grilled jalapeños and received warm PICKLED jalapeños. My fries and soup were also cold while my beer was warm. We didn’t receive bread with our order but everyone around us did.
Bartender said the Special was chips and queso. Thought I’d dip a few corn chips while I’m having a beer. Ordered it. Was ok. Nothing great. Closed out my tab. My five ounce bowl of queso with hardly enough chips for two was $13.95. Super nachos are $12.95. Steak fingers appetizers are $14.95. Both are really good. Chips and queso are way way overpriced. Never again.
