I am deathly allergic to nuts and cannot eat gluten or dairy. Shenouda went above and beyond to make sure I was safe. He told every single person in the kitchen of my allergies. He was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in the menu items. The steak burger was DELICIOUS! cooked perfectly medium. He did inform me the fries are cooked in same fryer as onion rings so they had a chance of cross contamination but for me, I have celiac and am not anaphylaxis so I was okay to comsume. The fries weren't as crispy as I like but seasoned well. The gluten free bun was delicious it doesnt fall apart. It was SO NICE having a hot meal. Very grateful to have this during my travels. Wish I had taken a picture before I ate it all haha.
We showed up right as they were closing and they offered us the premade burgers. However , we are vegan and this is one of the only vegan spots in DFW. The manager (I believe) was gracious enough to make two veggie burgers with fries for us. The burgers were amazing!!! They were packed with quinoa, black beans, rice, and even topped with guac and siracha! Everyone working was incredibly nice, and we highly recommend stopping here. We can’t wait to visit again when travelling through DFW. Thank you!!
Really delicious veggie burger with guac ! We arrived starving before our connecting flight and they were technically closed but made us fresh veggie burgers and fries anyway. We really appreciated that. The staff was super nice and the food was fresh and delicious. Definite 5 star
Got off a long flight not looking forward to even longer layover. Found this place on the way to grab pizza and decided to give it a shot, and boy am I glad we did. This was in the top 5 burgers I've ever eaten. Cooked to perfect medium, brisket was tender, onion rings were crisp and flavorful. There was table service and everything, it was way better than I anticipated, and the ambience was like an american pub. The only thing I didnt care for were the fries. Dont get me wrong they were amazing, I just prefer a shoestring over these, but I may change my mind. I would gladly eat here again anytime I fly through Dallas.
Holy crap that was a great burger.... I got the Spicy Goat, truly delicious, flooding the pallet with rich, beefy umami flavor and just a touch of sweetness. The cheese was real, the service was quick and cheerful, and the price was reasonable for an airport. An easy recommendation!
The vegan burger is was SOOOOO DELICIOUS! I’ve been a vegetarian for 21 years and I can’t remember having a house-made burger THAT good. The veggie patty had a little kick of spice and the pickled onions and avocado on the burger just tied it all in together. It was a little messy to eat but worth it, it was very freshly made. My burger was so good afterwards I walked up to the counter and thanked the kitchen staff. They all lit up in smiles and were very happy. I travel a lot so my expectations for airport food as a vegetarian is on the floor, I was genuinely impressed. I highly recommend it for any other vegetarians!
Food was absolutely fantastic! Miriam helped me and was so thoughtful and kind. I have a serious gluten allergy, and she asked me several questions such as whether or not they should skip grilling the gluten free bun to avoid cross contamination. Was so good I had to FaceTime both my wife and my mom so they could see it. Would give six stars if I could. 😋🤩
Get the Vegabond, you won’t be disappointed. It was seriously one of the best veggie patties I’ve ever had. They make it in-house, it was a very original formulation for a veggie patty and I absolutely loved it. The whole burger is really great. It’s well crafted. I only wish I’d have taken pics of it before eating it so everyone could see this thing. Marian and the rest of the staff are super nice and friendly. I will seek this place out the next time I pass through DFW.
Great food for airport food. Actually it was a great experience. Shenouda made sure to get out order in and delivered quick so we didn't miss our flight. Even came around and checked on us to see if we needed anything

Good airport burgers with classic options like shakes and onion rings. We were trying to find somewhere good to eat that isn’t in the PNW. Enter the Twisted Root Burger Co. We order burgers , fries, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. All were wonderful. I’d recommend the onion rings over the fries. They’re fast and friendly.
The vegan burger is AMAZING! I wasn’t sure what to expect in an airport restaurant but WOW you can tell it’s homemade. I also got it on the gluten free bun-I would go back in a heartbeat! Special shoutout to Marian and Narmeen for helping!
First time here, very pleased. Breakfast sandwich was great! Bun was toasted to perfection, egg spot on, delicious flavor. Staff was friendly, cooked to order, but not a bad wait time.

We stopped by Twisted Root Burger during a layover at the Dallas airport and were pleasantly surprised. We tried the Millionaire Burger and the Lots of Shrooms Burger, and both were delicious. The Millionaire was rich and indulgent, while the mushroom burger was packed with savory, umami flavor. For airport food, this was way above average—quick, satisfying, and full of flavor. Definitely a great option if you're craving a quality burger while traveling.
They have an interesting selection of made to order burgers. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Burgers were a little greasy, but still good. The worker Shenouda was really friendly and helpful.
It was alright. It was extremely quick which was nice. The wagyu burger wasnt nearly as good as I hoped and there were more mushrooms than there was meat.
Stephen was our server. They were fairly busy and he did a great job with us at a table while also handling the bar. Food came out quickly and was hot. Tasted great!
The food tasted good, burger cooked the way I asked, and came hot and fast, and with a leaf of lettuce!!!...the only issue with the burger is the patty was on the dry side....I'm assuming lean, as it wasn't over cooked...solid pink in the middle. Bacon was actually pretty good, meaning it wasn't thin and non-existent. Could actually taste it in the burger. Crispy fries were ok to good. Reasonable portion. Price though...combo upgrade w/ fries and soda was almost the cost of the burger....so $20+ They do have a cc surcharge added on. Just FYI.
Good spot: food was very fair, and the restaurant staff was friendly. I ordered the Western; its size and flavor were solid, though I'm no critic. Miriam was very attentive, and I would return again if hungry!
This airport location is pretty close to their other locations. We ordered: 1. Spicy goat - Overall, a tasty combination of ingredients. The burger overall was pretty good and is a thicker style than the current smash burger trend. My only comment is to have a little more spice. (4/5 🌟) 2. Fries - prepared and seasoned well. Completely overpriced an mediocre. For two burgers, fries and sodas it was nearly $60! My bun was soggy and the fries were so under seasoned! The coke zero on the soda machine was also broken.

Good but a little expensive but what's new at the airport they close early so don't rush in at closing time may already be closed.

One of staffs in here is continuously pushing us to make a order for getting her tips. The staff enforced to order in person instead of using Kiosk. We messed up before the meal. That staff made a three mistake for us. First, she enforced to order in person, and pushing us made a order quickly. Second, we ordered three combos, but she didn't say anything about drinks. And one of fries didn't come out. We felt uncomfortable that we felt like she ignored us.

Got the classic combo. $21ish Burger and fries were completely unseasoned. The beef was actually cooked medium like I asked.
The bartender is awesome at his job, fast and efficient. That was the only good thing going for this place. The burger wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. The fries are trash. Soft, soggy and bland. I’ve been to other locations and the fries are way better at those locations. Save your money and skip the fries. It is also very over priced here. Forty dollars before tip for a burger fries and beer is ridiculous.

One of the greasiest burgers that i've ever had in my life actually got the wagyu patty almost tasteless.... I know airport food's expensive, but thirty dollars for a burger this bad is ridiculous.
I spent $18 on a burger that had only meat and cheese. I told them no lettuce and tomato’s, thinking that pickle, and onion was going to be on a “classic”. It was. It on there and it would have been a up charge for it. I never been ask how I wanted my burger meat before, that was a lil odd. I “upsize” my drink, but really it’s a medium and other places. And when I went to pay it felt like it was trying to focused tip, I had to go in to adjust tip to put 0.0 and then when she pulls the receipt she looked at it and ask no tip? As if I owed it to her. I been to a bunch of places here at the air port, but I promise I won’t be back to this one. to top it all off, the burger tease, was like it was a Walmart special, no taste… don’t waste your money or time here, take the ride to b or d they have better options.
One of the staff members at the counter was extremely rude. There were three main issues I’d like to point out: 1. While I was selecting my order at the kiosk, she kept speaking to me in an unpleasant manner, saying things like “Are you still not done?” or “Are you ready yet?” which made me feel very uncomfortable. 2. I ordered 3 combos and a side of onion rings. However, she only gave me 2 portions of fries and didn’t acknowledge the mistake. 3. She didn’t even provide drink cups until I spoke to another staff member later and mentioned that I had ordered 3 combos. Only then did I receive the proper service. Because of this one staff member, I’m concerned that the overall image of the restaurant may be negatively affected, even though the burgers themselves were good.
If the cow would still be alive I’d have to shoot it myself. Something tasted weird and nothing was good. Besides them asking you how you want it cooked and they don’t follow the instructions anyways, I’m just wondering how a burger fast food chain like this one actually survives in a country where every corner has a fast food burger chain. Regardless - here are some photos for the mouthwatering admirers who want to make a quick educatuinal decision where to eat at Dallas airport. Again, you could pay me and I wouldn’t eat here again. Discarded the majority of this fallen apart creature. Apologies for the lost life
