I didn’t come here intending to get pizza, but I discovered they have a new owner! The food and service are excellent, and the salad bar looks so fresh. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you, Goldy!

Wow! We came to have the buffet and we were so impressed with being able to pick the pizzas we would like to have. The salad bar was very fresh and immaculate! Goldy introduced himself to us as part of the new management - not in name only, he gets a gold star for hospitality! Very friendly and accommodating! We will be back soon.

The manager Goldie was so incredibly welcoming and nice. He went above and beyond to be sure that I was satisfied with my order. I can tell that Goldie really cares about this round table location, and all the people that come in. I always leave this round table super pleased and excited to come back.

First I want to say that Round Table Pizza has always been my favorite. There's just something magical in their sauce, that those who know, understand. On my first visit to the Discovery Bay location on New Years Day 2025, I was greeted by Goldy, who was very patient with my extensive order and additional custom requests. He and his brother are most gracious and helpful, and I would strongly recommend you giving them your business!!! Pizza lovers, you can't get any better. But they also have a lovely salad bar, the best wings you can find, excellent sandwiches, and the most genuinely appreciative service I've experienced in a very long time!! The hospitality was top-notch, and the pizzas were absolutely fantastic—well-made, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s not every day you find such excellent service paired with such delicious food. Goldie the manager is so friendly and amazing. My mom and I came for Christmas and had great customer service. The food was great too! It is a lot cleaner in here now than the last time I was here. I have not been to this location in sometime. It’s a lot better under the new management. Definitely would recommend to people to come by and try.

We decided to give the Round Table Pizza in Discovery Bay another chance after not visiting for about a year, and I am so glad that we went back. It has really turned around since our last visit more than a year ago. The dining area was extremely clean and it was obvious they had recently put a lot of effort into improvements. We ordered our food to take out and when we got home and opened the boxes the Pizza was delicious, well cut, and the toppings were distributed evenly. We will definitely be returning and are excited to have another option for pizza. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't been in a while, you'll be impressed

Went in for the buffet and I want to take a moment to acknowledge Mr. Goldy, the manager at round table discovery bay, for his phenomenal customer service. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel genuinely welcomed. Mr. Goldy went above and beyond to cater our needs, like my mom’s vegetarian diet. It’s rare to find a manager who is so hands-on and dedicated to both his team and customers. His positive attitude and professionalism sets a high standard that truly makes this round table stand out, we will definitely be back!!

New owners. Very friendly and provided complimentary churros! Also set the table for us which isn't required at a over the counter restaurant. We got the special which is always a great price. This time the special is chicken, bacon, green onion, pep, onion and tomato for just over 20 bucks. Fed our small family of three with about half a pizza to spare.

Had the lunchtime salad bar + pizza buffet. I was pleased to see the salad bar topped to the brim is fresh ingredients. The pizza was crazy delicious, too. I've honestly never had pizza that good. This new owner really piles on the I gradients. Each slice felt heavy and tasted insanely good.

Wow, totally impressed with this new management! It is so sparkly shiny clean interior and exterior of this round table! The food is so hot and fresh ! Our family is so thrilled with the new owners and employees of our Discovery Bay Round Table!!! We have been waiting for someone to come and fix this place because Round Table pizza is our families favorite but the amount of issues the old management had was just ridiculous BUT not anymore!!! Drove about 40 minutes to meet my sister at a half way point for dinner and chose pizza. It was around 7pm and ordered the supreme w salads. The new owners and staff were very friendly and service was pretty fast. We both commented on how loaded the pizza was and all the way to the edges...so really no boring crust left on the plates. Salad bar had plenty of toppings. it was a good dinner and comfortable enough to hang out a catch up! A nice Christmas tree in the window and looks like all the TVs are new...one side geared more towards kids. All in all it was good food and friendly service.

We had a great meal at this Round Table location and the manager, Goldy, was so hospitable and accommodating.

Awesome experience for our family from NZ, a great place to stop off on our journey. Great very friendly staff. Delicious food especially the pizza.

This location is under new management. The food was standard for the franchise. What set them apart from other pizza joints was the service. Immediately greeted when we walked in. Knew who we were upon arrival (placed a to go order online). The place smelled nice, clean. There was some remodel items around, but to be expected at this point in the game. They did forget one of our pizzas, but IMMEDIATELY fixed the mistake, offered me a beverage, and handled it quickly and with kindness. Very good experience here, and glad the new owners clearly have pride in the establishment, and the community they’re located in.

I will admit Round Table’s pizza is pretty good. The only problem is the service. The last time I called to order a pizza I explained to a guy who works there over the phone that I wanted half pepperoni and half pineapple and to make sure all the pizzas have pepperoni and pineapple because my pizza had one side of pepperoni and the other side pineapple. The guy yelled “I GAVE YOU HALF PEPPERONI AND HALF PINEAPPLE YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED!!!” I said “THAT’S NOT HOW I WANT MY PIZZA!!!” When I finally ate my pizza my pizza was not cut and the garlic rolls or whatever they are called, he claim he gave me for free, was hard. I have asked for half cheese and half pepperoni for years at a lot of restaurants and I have never seen one side pepperoni and one side pineapple. This company needs to talk and treat their customers better than that if they want to get paid every day. Nobody wants to go to a restaurant that treats their customers like trash.

Mikey answered our phone call to ask to speak to a manger when our pizza was delivered after 2 hours (an hour and fifteen minutes after when it was supposed to be here). It arrived cold. When he answered, he gave no indication of remorse and refused to tell us when the manager would be in, only said they weren’t there now. I’ve worked in customer service for 6 years and understand some things are beyond store clerks control. Their attitude is not. Mikey’s attitude was unacceptable and now the final straw we’ve had with this franchise. Would not recommend this store, but I would recommend his firing:)

Walked into this Round Table yesterday to order a medium pizza, asked where the menus were, they had a stack front of counter. Medium pizza was $21.99, the cashier was nice, took my order and said $38. and change....I stopped him and said whoa that is about double what the menu said, he advised menu prices is outdated by a couple years +... I asked for manager, to find out why they display menus that are supposedly over 2+ yrs old, though they were not available. It is SAD, that the owner is gouging customers for $40 for a medium pizza, but then to falsely advertise prices in menus that are years old and NOT to care , defined everything I needed to know about this location. Round Table used to once be a brand I was loyal to, and thoroughly enjoyed, a company that had pride in its offering, once they sold the company to a large corporation all of that was lost. SAD TIMES INDEED. I left this establishment, not to return, and I recommend that others do not under these blatant circumstances.

The new owners were nice but now very different. The lady always looks mad or upset and judging you. The guy doesn’t understand his own deals that are on the website. They let their kids run around everyone even in the back where the food is prepped just doesn’t feel clean. Don’t bother asking for ranch they get so annoyed by it. And they never have Pepsi two liters. Won’t be back to this place.

How are you not gonna have regular sodas and offer two bottles that don't equate to the 2 liter sodas as comp this is the second week with just diet 2 liter sodas horrible service not even to mitigate the issue

Definitely need to train young staff in customer service like not using container lids that were dropped on the floor. Also, more attention to detail in how you package food. I was given marinara sauce, cold from the salad bar, in containers with sauce spilling into the bag. Definitely not a $80+ service level.
