The best breakfast I've ever had. Included in Kelly's hotel proposal. Super delicious, huge portions, amazing coffee. Nice interior, gentle service. I am your fan from now on! What a pity, I am here just for a business trip..

Today I went for breakfast with my brother, everything was spectacular! We ordered the Irish breakfast and the eggs Benedict, and both dishes were delicious! The eggs were perfectly done, the flavors were great 100% recommended! One of the best breakfasts in Dublin. 👏🏻

Simple and succinct menu, but everything was delivered very well, and tasted wonderful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The crab salad was so refreshing and light, loved that. I also had the rabbit and that was superb. Really deep rich sauce, you need a heavy red with it for sure. Tasted the fish dish and that was really light and tasty, especially the sauce with it. Great selection of wines. Overall a very good spot.

Fantastic spot, food is delicious, steak was cooked to perfection, only thing is it can be a bit noisy and may be a bit hard to have a conversation incase that’s a worry but for us it was fine

Great atmosphere and service. The breakfast is big and taste, there is a very nice seletion to choose from. It did take a little longer than usual to come but it was worth the waiting. We definitely would go back.

I came with 6 friends on Saturday morning & I had the full Irish breakfast which was included in my stay at the hotel around the corner. I have to say that this was potentially the best breakfast of any kind I have ever had in my 35 years of existence. Everything on that plate was superb !!! Well done. 👏

We stopped here for brunch after it was recommended by one of the Teeling Whiskey tour guides. We were not disappointed and the French toast with bacon was delicious, as was the full Irish breakfast my husband ordered. We planned to come back for dinner but did not make before having to fly home but if their breakfast was anything to go by, I would definitely recommend it!

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is very good, the waiters are kind and friendly. The food is amazing, delicious desserts and really good cocktails and I must say, all the bread there is extremely good! Good music with good vibes and very nice atmosphere. A good place to hang out with family or have fun with friends!

A fantastic meal at l’Gueuleton! Had a reservation at 7pm and asked to move it to 6pm and they could accommodate us which was great. The bread was delicious and cocktails were strong and tasty. The mains were all very good. My favorite was the lamb. It was tender and cooked perfectly. The stonebass was also lovely, not a bite left. Even non French cuisine lovers I’d recommend this restaurant to.

They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy beautifully. I had brisket parmesan fries and a gluten free fried chicken sandwich which was probably the best fried chicken I've had in the last 18 years since I was diagnosed. Highly recommend.

Inside decoration with warm and elegant feelings along with comfortable furniture which for couples or group of friends gathering. Wine tastes great full fragrance in the mouth and desserts are stunning can see how creative the chef is. Very nice place for spending leisure times here.

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin! My family, friends and I have been to this amazing restaurant for many occasions. Cannot fault anything on the menu. All dishes are superb! Great quality produce and some absolutely delicious dishes! I think I may be addicted to their 'steak frites' Ribeye and chips! Absolute perfection! I also highly recommend their french onion soup - the best I've had outside of France. Great wine selection and cocktails. I also love the fact they now have their own little bar. Great outdoor tables too which are great for people watching on Fade St. I'll be back very soon! Still salivating about my last visit!!

Very nice place and great dinner menu deal! Interior: Love the interior and the design it’s warm and cosy! The food was just unreal and delicious from the starter to the dessert. Starter: I had the pork belly as a starter and the meat part just melts in your mouth while beautifully balanced with the crunch of the skin and the different other flavours on the plate. Main: Steak frites medium well done was sumptuous and juicy with some crunchy bits on the edges accompanied by an onion compote, fresh watercress with its vinaigrette and a decent large enough actual French fries! Dessert: Had the strawberry crémeux with basil infused white chocolate lemon basil infused sorbet was too good to be true! I already knew strawberry, basil and lemon goes together but this is on another level! Best dessert I’ve had in a very long time! Hats off to the chef!

We hosted our engagement party on Sunday 13th July in L’Gueuleton for 40 people. We are so grateful to all of the staff who made our engagement party so memorable and special. From the organisation when I first reached out to enquire right throughout the night of the party the support from the staff was incredible and very accommodating. All of our guests commented on the venue which has lit candles decorated around, background music playing and the fantastic food. Our compliments to the kitchen, we had so many comments about how amazing the food was and how plentiful it was. The burgers, prawns and sausage rolls were the firm favourite. It was really hot day in Dublin and the team ensured that there was outside seating reserved for our party to use when needed. The bartenders always make the best aperol spritz and their rosé wine is beautiful. We love L’Gueuleton and will definitely be back soon. Thank you for making us feel so special !!

Fantastic food, amazing service and an ambiance that is second to none. This is our new favourite French restaurant. If you haven't been? Get there and give it a try. It's fabulous.

One of my friends took me there for lunch. I'd already been there for a pint, but the dish was ABSOLUTELY brilliant more than the pint I tried before. Can't wait to go again!

French Irish place with the best of both worlds Imagine French cuisine but without French service or hautainesse and think Irish cuisine but with a bit more French ingredients and subtleties and youngster l’Geuleton We went for brunch on a Saturday and were surprised it wasn’t more packed, all the dishes were great same for drinks and atmosphere Again imagine an Irish pub with Irish waiters except it serves food from the French coast except the size portions are Irish again

Disclaimer: This is a restaurant with a bar. We went there only to have a pint of Guinness and a bite to eat. I ordered something from the brunch menu (poached eggs and mushrooms on sourdough bread) and the food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. Also the pints of Guinness were poured beautifully. Can't judge for the dinner menu, which is probably what most people come here for. But our purpose was served to full satisfaction.

The food was amazing, way better then I’d expected it to be, we had the pork belly for starters and the stake frites for main, both delicious and tasty. Their cocktails were also good, and strong.

Wandering around Dublin on a wet and dark October Saturday and came accross this restaurant. Food was absolutely fresh and delicious and service friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend.

I got married on Saturday, and after the celebration, we went with our guests to L'Gueuleton restaurant. It turned out to be an excellent choice! The restaurant has such a lovely atmosphere, cozy and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I also want to highlight the outstanding customer service. The staff were attentive and made everything feel special. After lunch, we moved to the bar area, which was just as charming. The space is beautiful, and the music is at the perfect volume, allowing you to enjoy conversations and relax with friends. I truly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Although we only stopped in for some wine, we were well taken care of. The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was top notch. Made a rainy day a little bit better.

Came here with my girlfriend after work (were both bartenders, so it was late) for a little celebration. We arrived just before 1am, the place was heaving, obviously multiple large bookings. Jude behind the bar was excellent, despite how busy they were he was still personable, patient and kind. Definitely recommend this place for large bookings or a date night. Excellent staff and lovely drinks

The place is fantastic, but one of the managers, named Ned, was painful, almost made it not worth it. It was clear he wanted everyone’s money, but didn’t care about staff or the experience of the guests. So off-putting but somehow he’s managed to get really kind, courteous, professional staff. Visit for the lively staff, boycott Ned xx

We just got drinks there very nice atmosphere. The drinks were lovely I got the strawberry and basil cocktail and it was very nice. We were a little rushed out at closing time but over all great experience.

Beautiful restaurant w impeccable lighting. Ambiance 10/10. Bread basket solid. French onion soup had a sweet flavor to it which was unexpected but definitely enjoyed. Tartar paired w olive tapenade and bread was great. Eggs Benedict quite filling but the saltiness of the bacon overpowered the dish. Goat cheese and beet salad excellent, orange added refreshing touch. Service a bit slow on back end of meal but overall experience was great.

Great spot to have brunch. Food in general was amazing. But I wished the portion size of the avocado toast was bigger. The ambience inside the restaurant was 10/10. The staff were very polite and professional. Will go there again.

We went for Christmas lunch here with my office colleagues and I'll be honest- I am not the right amount of sophisticated to maybe do the justice to the type of food here. So take it with bit of pinch of salt. So it was my first experience of having a full course meal. After lot of research via reading so many reviews, I had decided to go for "Tartare of beef" as a starter. It was I'd say alright. Nothing to give my mouth an absolute memorable taste to be frank that I would mention it specially as a recommendation. In main course I had Steak Frites and they again were kind of just alright. It's maybe my Indian taste buds which keeps on trying to find some miraculous taste in other cuisines' dishes and technically should not. But I've read many people loving it and thus I feel I might not be the right person to give a proper review. But if I was allowed, I'd say, the taste wasn't that amazing again to make me try it again. And lastly, for desert I had Crème Brûlée was again just alright, nothing amazing here either. The the place was lovely, service was great and everyone else with me were mostly European guys and they loved their food. So I believe, it must be good overall.

Delicious french cuisine! The restaurant has an indoor terrace, heated and very comfy. The food is good and they offer a seasonal menu, however you can find the classics each time you go there.

The ambiance was nice and cosy. The food looked very well but the taste was too salty or too pronounced of some ingredient.

Birthday brunch in style. Great location. Very professional and friendly service. Food was really good. Egg and avocado on a croissant didn't hit the spot though. Amazing cocktails. Very good experience overall

31/7/22 Back again after three years, and nothing has really changed at L’Gueuleton, staff were nice, ‘terrace’ is nice, food is quite good (apart from some chewy prawns). But it just wasn’t working for me this time, it felt too expensive for what you got, and wasn’t quite as tasty as it should be. It might have just been my mood on the night but I’m dropping from 4 to 3 stars. 5/10/18 Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, great people watching on the pavement seating outside, and dancing after dinner at the weekend. Lots of fun to be had!

Whilst the service and the atmosphere were good, I found the food to be average. I had the mushroom soup as a starter. The soup itself was alright, the bread that came with it was too thick, sweet and did not match the taste of the soup. I would give the soup a solid 3.5/5 tho and would recommend adding sourdough bread instead. I had the risotto as a main dish. The portion size was good although the mushrooms were the most saltiest thing I have ever tried in my life and therefore unenjoyable. Furthermore having roughly 10 mushroom slices on an otherwise plain and quite fat risotto made the food experience quite monotonous. Thus having a few tablespoons of this dish was enough for me. I also ordered an camomile tea. The water was not hot enough which made the tea basically tasteless. Given the prices and the reviews of this restaurant, I expected more.

Met some friends for drinks at the bar yesterday afternoon — there were four of us to start, with a few others joining later. We didn’t have a reservation and only ordered drinks, sometimes from the staff and sometimes directly at the bar. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see a 12.5% (€27) service charge added. This kind of sneaky opportunism is completely unacceptable. It’s already expensive enough to go out these days without being hit with extra charges that should only apply to a restaurant. To be fair, the staff were lovely, but this sort of underhanded tactic really puts me off going back. Once I pointed it out, they removed the charge straight away — clearly aware it shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Always check your bill!

Most of the food was good particularly the food to order like fish and steak but the server couldn’t tell me anything about the scallops so I ordered the venison stew and it was just okay, meet was dry. The prawn or as it was described gambas and N’duja was very poor, four prawns and garlic bread … Some poor dishes so a pick & mix experience, won’t be going back anytime soon.

S
Studio Knives

Deeply disappointed with their brunch offering. 2/3 dishes came out lukewarm, which was a pity as one of the was the Gambas & n’duja. Felt a bit peaky after. The flavours were mediocre at best. Be warned Shaksuka is not what it seems, basically cold ratatouille with poorly poached (practically boiled eggs). Would not recommended as it was very pricey for such disappointing food. Service was just as cold and staff were too busy chatting to pay attention to customers. Has the standard of service in Dublin just plummeted. Would’ve been happy to give a generous tip if the experience was even remotely decent. Really wanted this to be better. Shame.

Disappointing experience at the bar. Ordered two margaritas and an espresso martini – was shocked to be charged €66.50 for the three drinks. I’d had a margarita here just a few weeks ago for around €14, so I questioned the price. The barman explained it was because we requested Don Julio tequila – but that was never mentioned when we ordered, nor was it stated on the menu. He said it’s their policy to charge for a standard tequila shot plus two extra premium shots when Don Julio is requested, which came to €26 per margarita. That pricing structure makes no sense, and when I said it felt extortionate, he just shrugged and said, “This is Dublin.” It took speaking to two different managers before we got even a partial refund of €21. Meanwhile, two friends sitting beside us ordered the same margaritas, got Don Julio without even requesting it, and were charged only €14.50 each. How can one customer be charged nearly double for the same drink? Honestly felt scammed – zero transparency, wildly inconsistent pricing, and an attitude that made it clear they didn’t care. Won’t be back.

Had steak frites at a cost of €39. 40% gristle. 10ml of pepper sauce given, fries were mostly 3cm long remains from the bottom of the pan. Rocket laced with mustard mayonnaise which wasn’t pleasant - should have been served separately. Service very perfunctory - didn’t feel the waiters were particularly friendly. No condiments offered - had to ask for ketchup. Not recommended.

it's loud, it stinks, the service is deplorable, most lazy and rude staff I've ever seen... Seriously, they should go find other jobs because they're not good at this one. They say they sell foie gras but I don't know what the f that was... the 4 star reviews are possibly paid for or jut from friends, because there's no way anyone neutral would give them even three stars. I can not even imagine the hygiene in the Kitchen but seeing how everything else was, I'm just surprised I didn't leave with food poisoning. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.

The staff and bouncers of this kip should be ashamed of themselves. On Saturday night once this place closed for the night I seen a girl (i did not know her), pass out and fall to the ground about 50 metres from the doors of this place. Naturally a crowd of people surrounded her to try help and I ran back to try get a glass of water for her. All the staff and bouncers were still inside cleaning away glasses and wiping down tables and the doors were still open. Even though the passed out girl and the crowd of people was still insight not one of the bar men or bouncers would poor me a glass of water for her. This went as far as arguing with me for about a minute and stern that they wouldn't give me a glass of water for her. I even said they could bring out the glass themselves to be sure it would be returned and not broken and they argued with that too. They kept telling me to go somewhere else for a glass of water. No sense of humanity or empathy among any of the staff on shift there on Saturday. Disgraceful.
