We stumbled upon this place quite by chance, and it was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant is very well located, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the pizzas are extraordinary (multiple award winners 🏆). The service from the waiters and waitresses is impeccable. A very special mention goes to Gabrielle, who gave us excellent advice and guided us towards some truly delicious dishes; thank you so much to her!

I understand why this is on the Michellin Guide. Obsessed with their pizzas and the vibe of the place—love the natural light in Powerscourt. The carbonara pizza is exceptional. I’ve been several times and everything I’ve tried so far has been delightful.

The pizzas and drinks are spot on, and the place has a lovely, relaxed vibe. A special shout-out to Anne for her warm, attentive service — definitely worth a visit👍

Excellent place for pizza in Dublin. A Google and trip advisor recommendation and I understand why it's highly rated. Great pizza, quick service and lovely atmosphere. A definite recommendation for Dublin.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! I had a great experience at the restaurant! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, well-organized, and perfect for both a special dinner or a more casual meal. I want to give a special thank you to Giovana, Letícia and Ivo, who made the visit even better. The service was outstanding – they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Professionals like them truly make a difference and leave you wanting to come back! Congratulations to the restaurant and the team for the excellent work. I will definitely return and recommend it! 👏🍽️

Had an amazing experience at Little PYG! Tried the Italian Job pizza, and it was absolutely delicious — perfect crust, fresh ingredients, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The atmosphere was warm and lively, just what you’d expect from a great spot in the city.Special thanks to Gabi for the outstanding service — super friendly, attentive, and made the visit even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! 🍕🇮🇹

The best pizza option in Dublin. If Ms. Anne serves and hosts you, it means you are lucky. All the staff are friendly and energetic. The taste, atmosphere, and service are excellent. I can recommend the tiramisu and coffee.

We love it! We found this place and the aesthetic is wonderful and the food even better! I recommend the margarita pizza 2.0, it was insane!!! Also all cocktails were so good with a very good selection of ingredients! We love it!!!!! We want to be back! Also everybody here is super friendly, specially Liege!

Fun and delicious place to eat. The pizza is yummy. We shared a pizza and pear walnut salad and it was perfect. Also served quickly. I love its location with the trees and hanging plants.

This place is super cozy and tucked in the middle of a small shopping center. Very quiet to enjoy your meal and the food was delicious. We ordered their pizza and it was easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Dublin, Ireland.

Found this recommendation on YouTube and it didn’t disappoint! Great waitstaff and only a little wait for drinks and food once ordered! Lovely food and pretty much finished the pizza. Sad we are not local and can’t come frequently!

Very good Place for a Date or celebrate birthday! The pizza is really good, the vibe of the place too! I can't forget to compliment our waitress Gabi, a Brazilian girl, very kind, respectful and efficient! Excellent night

Great place for a date or a night out with friends. The pizza was tasty although it kinda fell apart. Nice cocktails, fun atmosphere.

It’s hard to find a good pizza in Dublin if, like me, you prefer authentic Italian-style pizza over the greasy, dry American kind. But Little Pyg is the glorious exception! It’s the best pizza you’ll find in Ireland, unless you’re planning a weekend trip to Naples.

As the reputation suggests the food was superb. Definitely a must visit if you are in Dublin.

Hands down the best pizza place in Ireland! Quite rightly rated as such, and the prices are excellent in spite of this! All of my visits here have been excellent and I thoroughly enjoy their pizzas! I really loved the Spicy Pepperoni pizza with the honey element, the spice ratings are deceptive as these pizzas are not spicy at all, which is great for me since they're delicious without it! The decor is stunning in the atrium, I'd go here just for that alone! I couldn't recommend this place enough, it's stunning & a must-go!

The pizza is amazing!!!! They made it right in front of us in a brick oven and it came very quick. The staff was nice, they had very good music, overall our stomachs were full and happy ^^

Now I get why this is considered to be the best pizza in Ireland! Lovely atmosphere inside Powerscourt right in Dublin City centre, nice vibes all round with music and very friendly staff. When it comes to pizza they know what they’re doing. I personally got the Diavola which was delicious and surprisingly not too spicy (despite chili flakes all over it). My girlfriend got the Summer Caprese instead, she said the pesto felt refreshing and very very tasty (especially with taralli scattered all over the pizza). To both of us though, the best part of the pizza was the dough. It was fluffy, light and full of flavour. Super recommended if you’re looking for a true Neapolitan style pizza!

The pizzas here are absolutely delicious. They are very authentic and perfect for a meal in the city. We went for lunch, and would recommend booking like we did as it was extremely busy. Although busy, the setting was beautiful. The service was relatively fast and we really enjoyed being able to watch the pizzas being made. We will definitely be back here again!

Not sure it’s the best pizza in Europe. I’ve had better pizzas in Dublin, and certainly better in Italy. But they were very good. Spicy Gorgonzola was very good. The honey tipped it over the edge. My partner had a margarita which was excellent. Lots (too much?) of tomatoes, quality mozzarella and tasty pesto. Desert was tiramisù, which was almost perfect, but didn’t need all the dark chocolate chips. Awesome as they were they didn’t work with the tiramisù. Aside from that it was nearly perfect. Espresso, lady fingers, mascarpone and cocoa powder. Cocktails after dinner were lovely. Liege was outlet waitress and she was great. Very attentive and friendly.

Had a wonderful experience at Little Pig! Our server Liege was incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. She made us feel welcome and taken care of the entire time. Great service and a great atmosphere, and the pizza is really all that we hear about! Highly recommend!

I went to the restaurant and was really well taken care of by Kellen. She’s super attentive, friendly, and knows exactly how to make customers feel welcome. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does! The pizza was also amazing — light crust, great flavor, and high-quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back! 👏🍕

One the best pizzas I had in Dublin. Ordered spicy little pyg pizza an it had the perfect texture and a nice hint of spice. Worth every penny. Our order was taken by Anne and she was very welcoming and friendly. And the vibe was real cozy

Visited for lunch. The owner, Paul, took some time out to say hello. We had a selection of starters, a chicken caesar salad, some recommended penne with Amatriciana sauce which was wonderful. Tiramisu was also excellent. Fantastic staff and a great afternoon vibe under the glass courtyard roof. Will be back soon for pizza.

Pizzas are of very high quality and tasty. Trust the chef in his choice of ingredients, you won’t be sorry! We had the Spicy Pepperoni and the Taste of Naples, which was coming off the menu the day after. Anne helped us with our choice and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The cocktails were equally as impressive. Anne was a wonderful waitress, so personable and helpful. She made our evening!

I had a fantastic experience at Little Pyg! Gabrielle, a Brazilian staff member, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our visit even more special with her warm smile and professionalism. She truly makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. As for the carbonara pizza… absolutely amazing! The crust was perfect—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—with a creamy, flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked bacon, and just the right amount of cheese. Every bite was pure delight! Excellent service and a pizza that will be remembered. Highly recommended

Award winning pizzas. Family of 4 (inc 2 teenage girls). Sunday 23/11/25. Great service, great pizza, great S.P. Fries. Dough balls a little expensive. Lovely setting. Attentive staff. Availed of the ' 2 pizza for €35', a bargain by Dublin standards.

Such a cute place to hang for a meal or drink. Reservations is required if not be prepared to wait. We got in perfect time for a Valentine’s Day late lunch. The place is decorated very well and it’s gorgeous. They have a great variety of options to choose from for food or drinks. I had a glass of terre , Margherita 2.0 and the tiramisu. Margarita pizza was yummy, they have a pizza oven there so you know your pizza will be good. Tiramisu was yummy. Perfect not too mushy or sweet. Service was great given how busy this place was. Not a single table was empty. Restaurant is very clean. Definitely a place we going to come back to.

Yes, the pizza is actually very good. Mine was the one called “taste of Naples” and I it was very good. My partner had one with a traditional base, tomato sauce, he complained about being a little bit too sloppy. The dough was really good, very soft and airy. Cocktails were amazing! I still want to go back and taste the rest of the cocktail menu. The dj was great but the music was a little bit too loud in the courtyard, I couldn’t hear my friends sitting in front of me. Overall it was a good experience, as I said, I’m definitely going back to taste the rest of that cocktail menu!

The pizza was really good I can see why it was the best restaurant of so many years 😂 me and my whole family enjoyed it, especially me with the avocado and shrimp salad. The dough of the pizza was really great and tasty. Great experience 👍

The pizza was okay compared to others I've had but still good. Was not a fan of the Napoli (no sauce and had broccolini). The little pig pizza and margherita was good. Hot honey pepperoni was meh. Calamari was very good

It was my first time in little pyg. Overall it was all good! As it was my first time, I did know how was the entrance and there was nobody at the main door where the sing “wait to be seated” was, so we went to the entrance and we standing for a while so then a guy who seems to be waitress was completely rude saying that where we were was not the entrance and sent us to the sing. I think everything has a way to say and there was no needed to be rude like that, I felt uncomfortable in front other costumers. Pizza was really nice!! Margarita was the best one that I ever had in Dublin! Really really nice!!! The waiter was very kind and patient. I’ll be back!

I got the Carbonara pizza and WOW! Delicious. Tasted exactly like a real Italian carbonara dish on the most lush pizza base. For the group I was dining with apparently the cheese smell was nauseating but I didn’t get that until I finished. So delicious. Good value for money for a multi-award winning Dublin restaurant. Will definitely be back! The service was really good and we weren’t waiting long for our meals. Beautiful cocktails too 🍹 I would’ve had more if I hadn’t been going to a concert 🤣 We were there on a Bank Holiday Monday and found it a little bit difficult to find when the Powerscourt Centre was closed, eventually asked in Pygmalion and they brought us through the bar

The location is beautiful and unique, definitely a standout feature of the place. However, the music was a bit too loud for a restaurant setting — it made it harder to enjoy a relaxed dinner. We ordered the bombette, a Margherita, and a sausage & friarielli pizza. The pizza dough was absolutely incredible — unbelievably soft, probably the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the pizzas were slightly overcooked, and from a certain point on, the burnt flavor of the crust overpowered everything else. The pizzas were generally good, but the absence of key ingredients like buffalo mozzarella was noticeable — although I do understand how difficult sourcing can be. The sausage and friarielli pizza, in particular, felt under-seasoned and was basically just topped with fior di latte. Prices are on the higher side, likely reflecting the popularity and reputation of the place.

Loved the vibe here — super cozy and full of energy! The atmosphere really makes you want to stay longer and just enjoy the moment. The food was actually pretty good, simple but tasty 👌 Now about the cocktails… not gonna lie, they could be better 😅 Definitely not the highlight — maybe a 3/10 for those. Still, it’s a cute spot overall! Perfect for dinner with friends or just chilling with good food and nice music. 💫

Solid thin crust neopolitan style pizza...very thin and wet, so knife a fork needed for sure. Would have given 5 stars for a pie you could eat with your hands...and its often so busy service gets backed up. Nice gem in the shopping district in Dublin.

Reading some great reviews here, I expected something great. Maybe if I had ordered a pizza, it would have been great. But my son ordered the Grilled Chicken Fillet (see picture). It was an absolute disgrace - €24 for that - chicken was overcooked and dry? Potato was cold (but was the best bit of the meal). I had Chicken Panini and Chips - chicken overcooked with that too but much better. But seriously - what is gone wrong with this country if someone is charging €24 for that crap - I honestly can’t use any other word. I must say though - the staff are lovely and the atmosphere nice. My son was feeling sick in the end so had to leave and regret I didn’t complain to management. If management do read this, please get in touch. Also - I’ve just noticed that the prices on the bill are higher than what was on the menu - not good guys.

Came here for some dinner, unfortunately pizza wasn’t what I thought very very sloppy and saucy and for the price of €30 just for a pizza is outrageous. Saucy and lacked cheese as shown. (Thankfully saved by a €60 voucher) . Mozzarella sticks were lovely though and fresh. Was also charged €6 for water even tho offered it by server not indicating a charge. Wouldn’t return for that reason couldn’t justify the price for what it was.

Gustavo who looked after us was so attentive and made sure we were well looked after. Would come back again for his service alone. They do need to work in GF options like pizzas and pastas theres no excuse not having them in our currant time .

Little Pyg was recommend to us by multiple persons for their pizza and lively atmosphere. I cannot say that the pizza had met any of our expectations (Lacking flavor). However, the atmosphere and vibes were really enjoyable. I do recommend checking little Pyg out for drinks and a fun night out. If you’re looking for good pizza in Dublin, I recommend checking my other reviews for photos etc.

Overly priced for the food quality. A group of 6, 3 got pizzas and said it was way too sweet. No sauce with my chicken, the only option was coleslaw. Huge bill and service was slow. Wasn't even overly busy as it was January. Won't return sadly as the venue itself is quite lovely.

Ordered Pasta al Ragù for myself and seafood tagliatelle for my younger brother. Unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing. The pasta was clearly undercooked — I understand al dente, but this was simply hard. The ragù was nowhere near a slow-cooked sauce and felt more like basic minced meat. The portion size for a €20 main course was unacceptably small, and I left still hungry. The seafood tagliatelle had the same issue with the pasta texture, although the seafood itself was fine. Ironically, we also ordered pizza for takeaway, which was excellent — making the contrast even more confusing. Given the reputation of this place, the pasta dishes were well below expectations.

At first the place was good but weird how it’s located inside a shopping centre. It took over 15 minutes to get a waiter to even come to our table and 20 mins for the first drinks to even arrive. My lasagna was burnt but was good but on the other hand my partners pizza was the worst thing created on earth (little pyg special) sounds better than it actually is. It was straight cheese and those peppers have some gone off taste, no chance this place won an award for best pizza, 3 years in a row. Very overhyped and dont even get me started on those prices the place is an absolute scam for the price you pay dont go here.

Overall disappointing experience. Google Maps indicated an opening time of 10:00. Arrived at 11:50 and was curtly told the restaurant would open in 10 minutes. No apology, no invitation to wait inside or even look at the menu. The spicy Little Pyg was unavailable, with no alternative suggested. The menu lists sparkling water in 500 ml and 750 ml. When ordering, the server asked “big or small” and brought a 250 ml bottle instead, charged at the same price as the listed 500 ml. An explanation was only given after asking—apparently the 500 ml bottles were out of stock. Service felt awkward overall, with the server checking on the table right as I was taking a sip of my drink. Pizza was disappointing and not worth the hype. Bambino’s is by far better.

Horrendous experience at this restaurant yesterday. The first issue was to do with the poor service. After taking our order of food and drinks, the drinks did not arrive in good time. It was not as if the place was very busy A person who I assumed was the duty manager seemed to realise and eventually our drinks arrived at exactly the same time as my pizza. Now when I go to a restaurant, it is only etiquette to get your drinks first and then wait for the food. This did not happen. Nor did the correct type of water that was ordered arrive initially. On top of this my partner's food did not arrive at the same time. I queried this and was advised it was to do with "two separate kitchens". Her meal eventually arrived a few minutes later and we could then eat our meal together. The second and most important issue is that my partner is celiac. This was clearly communicated to the staff. She ordered a pasta dish, but after a few minutes was advised that they had no gluten free pasta in stock. She reluctantly ordered a chicken dish. Now I don't know what was communicated between the staff and "two different kitchens", but my partner was ill for the rest of the day. This started just as we left the restaurant and symptoms of consuming gluten. When you drop over €100 for a lunch at a supposed award winning restaurant, you should expect much better service and sensitivity to declared food intolerances.

We visited Little Pyg in Dublin for lunch with a group of six people. The pizza was genuinely very good and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The bruschetta starter was the most expensive bruschetta I have ever had, and it was not particularly good or memorable. The worst part, however, was the service. When we arrived, we asked a waiter for a table. He told us he needed to check, but after waiting for about 10 minutes, it became clear that he had simply forgotten about us. We then asked another waitress for a table. She seemed overwhelmed, and in the end, we offered to move and combine two tables ourselves, which we did. We were not offered tap water. During the ordering process, the waitress had to repeatedly check whether the drinks we ordered were still available. This happened despite the restaurant being very quiet at lunchtime with low occupancy. Additionally, a 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill, which felt inappropriate given the level of service.

I booked little pyg for my hen do, after reading good reviews, but was really let down. I booked weeks in advance, and our table was down the back corner, away from the music and main seating area. it was freezing cold, and we all had to keep our jackets on the entire meal. It took half an hour for someone to take our drink order after first arriving. Starters arrived quickly, but it then took an hour for our mains to arrive. They arrived staggered, so by the time the last person got theirs, the first person was nearly done eating. At no stage did anyone come down to ask us if we wanted more drinks, or to ask if the food was okay. The food was great, but the awful service completely over shadowed the entire experience. Staff were not very receptive to feedback or criticism, and we weren’t offered anything complementary after we expressed our disappointment, which might have softened the blow. Im a manager in hospitality, and always go out of my way to be understanding and nice to hospitality staff, as I know how awful customers can be at times. But there’s a number of things I would have done differently if I were working on the floor that night.
