Bagel Bakery Dublin Reviews
I've been coming here since I was a little kid these are the best bagels around hands down same staff to since I was a little kid so it's definitely close to home
They don't skimp out on the spread at all, service was good and quick. Everything is freshly made, prices are fair, and there menu selection is pretty good. Highly recommended.
The best bagels I've ever had. I've been patron for over 15 years, and they never disappoint. They always have a wide variety of bagels even in the late morning. Plus, the sandwiches are true Deli quality. There are many sandwich shops around, but nothing compares.
This place is godly. I was starving and this place came up and lemme tell you it was the best bagel I’ve ever eaten and they had so many awesome flavors like scorched garlic and cheddar oh my it was life changing better than bagel street
New comer here- i ordered a vegetarian bagel with egg whites and the mocha frappe! It was SO good! Im impressed! Will definitely return here again
Great bagels decent price. Strong Vietnamese coffee I love it. Staff here are kind.
So, the deal here is that these people still bake actual bagels. By that I mean that they must be boiled then baked as they have been for several centuries. The "new" wave of "bagels", particularly Noah's, are baked in a steam oven using frozen dough from their commissaries. A one-step, foolproof process. That enables them to have the large, puffy product that, along with good marketing, brings in droves of consumers who don't know any better. My brother has been with Einstein/Noah's for quite a few years so I do know how they do it. About 25 years ago, Noah (Alper) was just starting out when he proposed his product to me when I was running the food service at California Pacific Medical Center in SF. We tried them out in the doctor's lounge, and all the docs wanted to hang me. They HATED Noah's. We switched back in a hurry. I personally have had none if the problems noted elsewhere, although I never order one to eat there. I always get two dozen and bring them home.
They are always helpful. their bagels are old school and terrific. you can call & order & everything is ready when you get there. We've been going there for many years and have never been disappointed.
Probably the best bagels I've ever had. We're here almost every weekend because our family of four loves the bagels.
Gem of a place! Very attentive and when I couldn't make up my mind the associate gave me samples of the cream cheese. I appreciate businesses that go above and beyond like this. Will definitely be coming back!
Good bagel shop nearby. Always fresh, good choices for both bagels and cream cheese, friendly staff, clean place, easy parking.
Very fresh and can be customized per dietary needs. Place is very accommodating for specific dietary needs. Awesome vegetarian bagel and roll sandwiches. Wish they open @ 6am.
Wonderful bagel selection in a great little row of specialty food shops. I love their cream cheese selection check the fridge!
Got a egg and cheese on plain bagel but it was anything but plain! The eggs were so fluffy and thick and the bagel was perfect. I forgot about this little place at the back of the shopping center but I will certainly be back.
My whole family loves this place! The smoothies are amazing and the bread is always fresh they get started early on breakfast so you don't have to!
This place is the business....want a fresh New York style bagel this is the place when in Dublin. I had the Everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, one word Awesome. I totally enjoyed it.
Family feel to to this place. Bagels are delicious. My favorite are the bagel sandwiches. They are a great value and make for a tasty, quick lunch.
I discovered Bagel Bakery a few months ago and have been stopping by early in the morning to pick up a half dozen bagels. They’re often still warm when I get them, which is such a treat! Every visit has been a great experience—the owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming. The bagels are excellent. My favorites are the sourdough, cinnamon crunch, and cinnamon raisin, and today I tried the jalapeño cheddar and sesame seed—both were delicious. It’s a wonderful family-owned business, and I’m always happy to support local spots that serve great food and provide excellent service to the community.
At the Bagel Bakery of Dublin, my morning started on a flavorful note with a visit to their bustling establishment. Amidst the busy atmosphere, the service remained top-notch, reflecting the staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Settling in for a dine-in breakfast, I opted for the Eggwich featuring jalapeño and cheddar bagel, accompanied by sausage and pepper jack cheese. The combination of the spicy jalapeño and rich cheddar infused into the bagel provided a delightful kick, complementing the savory flavors of the sausage and pepper jack cheese perfectly. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, leaving a lasting impression of satisfaction. Despite the rush of customers, the staff maintained efficiency and attentiveness, ensuring that every diner received prompt service and attention to detail. The seamless coordination between the kitchen and the front of house team was evident, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to the Bagel Bakery of Dublin was nothing short of delightful. From the flavorful jalapeño and cheddar bagel to the attentive service, every aspect of my breakfast experience surpassed expectations. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu offerings and enjoying the warm ambiance once again.
Excellent service and super tasty bagels! Very good selection of bagels and cream cheese flavors. Very clean and well organized shop. Seating both indoors and outdoors.
Sweet local bagel shop. Fast service, great bagels.

Sweet local bagel shop. Fast service, great bagels.
Came in on a Sunday, and even though it was busy, the service moved quickly. I did make the mistake of ordering “a number 4,” not realizing there are at least four different menus with a number 4. The woman behind the counter didn’t clarify, but thankfully the mix‑up was caught early before anything went too far off track. I’m fairly certain the lox bagel had a picture of an actual lox bagel on the menu, so I was surprised when mine arrived with only cream cheese. Traditionally, lox and cream cheese are layered together, so it threw me off a bit. That said, it still tasted good. The jalapeño bagel, though, was the real standout—easily one of the top three bagels I’ve ever had. The inside of the restaurant is a little shabby, and the woman at the counter seemed a bit annoyed with us for just being alive, but the food itself was delicious, the prices were right, and overall it was a solid experience. I’d happily come back for those bagels alone.
Wide variety of bagels, duh .. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and reasonable price. Good coffee too. Strongly recommend.
I've been coming to bagel bakery for 30ish years, and still make sure to drop by when I'm rolling through town. It is an absolute staple of west dublin. Consistent bagels, friendly staff (shootout to Rosa!), just great hometown vibes. Please never change!
Great bagels and the spanish lady at the front is very welcoming. She always greets my kids with mini bagels.. Try the tuna melt it’s delicious
I always come to this place once every other weekend. It’s my favorite bagel shop! Yes, it always busy during the morning but they still always have plenty of bagels to choose from! I love this place!
One of the friendliest bagel shops that you well and take care of you one by one efficiently. Kids love to do there and choose from their bagel displays.
Best bakery in the Bay area! Nice people. Fresh, delicious, homemade bagels and other baked goodies. Delicious coffee and very very clean environment. Will be coming back.
Best bagel and coffee I’ve ever had !
I like this place a lot. Food is tasty, quick service, people are nice, food is tasty. Was in there over the weekend getting a breakfast bagel sandwich. I ordered it with pepper jack, but I saw them making it behind the counter with american. No prob, I didnt really care. The guy behind the counter realized they had made the wrong thing. I told him it was no problem, not to worry about it. He immediately made me what I had actually ordered, then gave me the incorrect order too at no charge. Pretty cool. Thanks!
Friendly and helpful staff! Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and a latte. Both were delicious but especially have to point out how fluffy the croissant was and how the staff cut it in half and wrapped each half separately. Perfect for an easier to manage breakfast!
Some of the best bagels I’ve ever had and friendliest staff. They always give my kids a free small bagel and it makes their day. One of our fave local spots 🤍

Only reason they lost one star is because they dont seem to make enough scortched garlic bagels. But i love love this place its been the same since i was a little girl. And the bagel sandwichs are soo good and jalopeno cheddar bagel dogs are awesome.
Double onion was over toasted, burnt flavor. Fillings were good, other bagel (my gf) was good. Will return and not order double onion.
A pretty decent bagel. Wouldn't put it in the top tier by any means, but the bagel was a decent entry with good flavor. Certainly enough to keep the bagel tremens away for a short bit.
Yummy !!! We loved it ❤️ veggie bagel, beef hot dog and mini bagels !! Dairy free options 😋
Good place to stop and get bagels. They have a large selection and they offer a variety of breakfast bagels, pizza bagels, bagel sandwiches, and cream cheese flavors. They also have a small selection of other pastries. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a bacon cheddar bagel. The bagel had good bacon flavor making the overall experience enjoyable. I recommend you check it out.

Really nice staff and fresh baked goods, here is how I would taste the things I tried Strawberry Bagel ⭐⭐ Jalapeno Bagel with veggie spread ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ham and Cheese ⭐ Strawberry croissant ⭐⭐
My family and I have been going here for 20 years. Rosa is the BEST, she always gets our order going right when we enter the store. Unfortunately the young man that takes the orders on the weekend is difficult. Last weekend he started giving Rosa a hard time right in front of us. Then today he told the person making the bagels to hold my order... as I stood there. They made it anyway and when they tried to hand me the tray, he intervened and said "He hasn't paid", which was not true, and the Lady handing us our tray informed him she rang us up (I think she is the owner). He held up my order on an assumption, he could have said sorry or something. It might help if he understood some basic customer service skills. Guess its time to find a new bagel shop.
OK b-grade bagels: definitely better than supermarket level and Posh Bagels. They most closely resemble Noah’s but with a crispier exterior. Lattes are so so; on the bitter side. They do offer soy milk although no stevia for your coffee. Scones are good, service was solid, dine in area reasonably tidy. Worth the short detour if you’re passing through Dublin on 580

Last Sunday I went to have a coffee but this time it was lukewarm, I complained and the gentleman who works there or is the owner told me that the temperature was fine and I said no for me and what did they do? They heated it in the microwave, what??? How is that possible? and even so the mocha coffee was not at the temperature that I like, the truth is that I will not return to that place. They need to learn to respect customers because they are the ones who consume or better that they close the business.
Taste is alright but bagels are smaller than other spots and all contents fall out when bite into it. Sausage and egg sandwich is wet as well. Lox spread did not have lox in it as well.
Bagel is stiff and solid and unbitable. Outside is not crisp/crunch either. Some of the worst had in my life

The signs of Donald Trump's attitude towards latinos was proven there today, When my wife was calling her mother in Mexico for mothers day she was told to quiet down or that she was bieng loud because she was talking Spanish this a form of racism because if she would have been talking english to her mother the Manager of the bagel bakery of dublin would have said nothing. This was the last time we spend our money in this place.
Have been here multiple multiple times over the years. I think I torture myself by going back just because I don't want to drive the extra 5 mins to the place that makes correct EVERYTIME I order. At least they use to get it right a couple times out of 5 that I go. But for the past few months, EVERY time I go there they mess up the order somehow. Charging extra and shorting you on your order to heating things I asked to be cold and giving me cold things I asked for hot. The customer service has never been there, but what can you expect from a bagel shop? From now on I'll be driving the extra 5 mins or less and just get a good coffee or FRESH, REAL fruit smoothie and a cream cheese bagel from AJ's Coffee down the road. They have great customer service and WAAYYY better Coffee
Every time we go, we have a 4 bagel order. Rarely do they get all of them correct. I always order my daughter's first because she's very picky on what she will eat. This morning they had 3 out of 4 bagels wrong. This was our last visit. I'm tired of spending almost $30 on 4 bagels and drinks, and not getting what I've ordered.
Avoid this place at all costs. At least if you care about keeping yourself and your family healthy. Today I was fourth in line waiting patiently to buy bagels. The young fellow behind the counter was wearing gloves and a mask. He was handling money at the register and opening bags (for bagel purchases) by sticking his hand inside the bag. Since money is one of the filthiest things we can handle, I asked him to change his gloves before picking my bagels. He refused. I suspect that more of the employees at this place do not practice good hygiene. It makes me think these people have never heard of Covid 19 and the 130,000 deaths from the virus. Unbelievable.
I have been going here my entire life. The last 4 times I've been there they have completely messed up my order. In the stuff that they did get right they put barely any cream cheese on it. I am over this place the service has gone downhill and when I mentioned that they messed up my orders they said thank you instead of sorry.
Horrible customer service, really doesn't care about the customer Super slow. Unfriendly during order taking. Messes up order and doesn't apologize or offer any adjustment. Multiple bad experiences here, I must be stupid for coming back and thinking that they will improve.
I’ve visited this place multiple times, since I live in walking distance, and their food is truly delicious. However, they have a major attitude issue! I walk next-door to order food picked my dog up who is in my arms and went to order food and was told that I cannot be in there because I had my dog who I was not gonna stay with was gonna put down. I just wanted to order to go! On top of this, I want to know why they waste so much food. They literally throw tons of bagels away every day in the dumpster behind their store!! This could be given to people in need again again this reflects the moral compass of this place
