Killer Sushi Durango Reviews
I liked that they had a variety of options on the menu, like boneless wings, hamburgers, tacos, and burritos, which made things much easier for my family, especially the kids. The place is very nice inside and it's inexpensive.
It was great
Stopped by for a drink, great service, highly recommend you stop by for a few drinks, not just one.
A pleasant experience overall, thanks to the friendly and courteous staff. The wait time was a bit long, 25 minutes in my experience. The rice was good, with a pleasant flavor, and the sushi, while not bad, was just average. My rating is based on the delay in the food and the sushi's taste, which, while not exceptional, served its purpose of providing sustenance.
They have Good deals.
If I could give it zero stars, I would. Honestly, it's not worth paying a single cent to eat there. The sushi is an abomination. We went for dinner and ordered three individual combo meals. They told us it would take 30-40 minutes, but they brought the food an hour later. They didn't even bring our drinks until an hour later. The sushi was frankly undercooked rice, the breading was awful, and everything tasted stale. Without a doubt, it was my worst dining experience. I hope they improve; it's truly not worth it, and it wasn't cheap either. When we complained, they supposedly offered a discount, but that was a lie. In the end, they gave us a free beer as an apology, but it didn't make up for the damage. We couldn't even eat the sushi.
The sushi is awful, oh my god. I've never tasted such bad sushi. I honestly don't know how they're still open. 800 pesos for 4 people 4 rolls 4 teas 4 cups of the worst rice in the world.
A terrible place located in downtown Durango. The jasmine tea is awful; I could only manage one sip. They don't respect the order when serving food, and to top it all off, they practically charge by the gram for the dressings. I hope you read this and the other reviews before going in.
The food was rotten. Don't eat here unless you want to get sick.
Terrible experience, starting with the service, apart from being bad, slow and deficient, the food took more than an hour to arrive at the table and there were only 2 tables with diners, the appearance of the sushi is deplorable and the rice was raw and very full of starch, leaving an unpleasant sensation in the mouth, we ordered a ramen and apart from arriving cold with an unpleasant aroma and an unbeatably fetid taste, we almost vomited when trying it, the only edible thing was a hiroko sushi, if it were possible to leave a negative rating I would give it
Terrible service. They charged me $150 for ramen when the menu said it was $69. I even confirmed the price was $69 before they brought it to me, and they said yes. In the end, they refused to give me a refund and blamed me, when it's their poorly designed menu. And the ramen itself was awful; it tasted like instant noodles.
Service took forever, and I’m talking about upward of 2h the entire duration I was there. When asked about the meal, the waiter said they have many patrons inside (I was seated outside). If you don’t have the capability of providing for so many patrons maybe they should consider having fewer tables? Sushi is no where near authentic, it will pass as food if you have never had real sushis before. Conclusion, don’t bother coming unless you are prepared to spend substantial time waiting to be served.
