Orly's BBQ Eagle Pass Reviews
Excellent experience for us out-of-town folks. Brisket Bowl was delectable, the side of Smoked Mac & Cheese heavenly. My wife has always been hesitant about pork ribs. Always. But these ribs changed that around 180 degrees. We had a fun time in town but the ONE part we will always remember will be the food and customer experience we had here.
These pictures don’t do justice to how good the brisket nachos were. Best word to describe: A M A Z I N G The chips were crispy Cheese was warm and creamy Sour cream added a lot of flavor and balance to the saltiness Brisket was soft, easy to chew, juicy Barbecue sauce added a bit of tanginess Overall, best nachos I’ve ever had Plus, staff was amazing. Made the experience 10x better.
We loved this BBQ and everything was fresh and hot. We had a platter for two and it was amazing. Great BBQ at reasonable prices and liked the memorabilia coke and football decor. Next time I will try not to forget a food picture we dug in too quickly.
Great brisket and sausage. Charro beans were good mac and cheese was awsome!

Great brisket and sausage. Charro beans were good mac and cheese was awsome!
Orly’s recently hosted out group of about 40. The service was courteous and efficient. Our hosts made sure we were all taken care of. The food was delicious and after everyone had their fill, there were very little leftovers. All dietary restrictions in our group were acvomofated. Thanks, Orly’s! Witness at the Border.
Loved the brisket & sausage dinner. My husband & I shared. Reasonable price. Atmosphere very friendly.
Mom & Pop type place. Food was great! Cute place... Service was very good! We had the loaded baked potato, 2 meat bbq plate, brisket sandwich special... and tried the banana pudding. Nothing disappointed! Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely come back!
My wife and I are from Houston, Texas. While in Eagle Pass we stopped by Orly's. The owners are great people. I have to give it to the man who made the potato salad. It was so dang good! The bbq was just as good too. The price is fair. Not overpriced like big name bbq places.
I was pleasantly to see they served a vegetarian option when catering our event- scrumptious portobello mushrooms! Thank you, thank you, thank you!’nn

Food was okay. I had a brisket sandwich and cream corn for a side And a Twelve ounce can of soda And I thought it was rather expensive though. At $18.50 Plus tip. Also, the seating is like cafeteria style. So somebody else might be sitting at the table with you that you don't know Awkward.
The food is really good. I had the Ribs and Brisket with a side of Mac and Cheese and Beans. The Mac and Cheese is okay. I would have to agree with the other review of the Mac and Cheese. It can use work. Instead of putting the cheese on top of the elbow macaroni and allowing it to melt down into the elbow mac, they could use a good amount of cheese, condensed milk, eggs. Mix that all together with the elbow macaroni, and then smoke cook it that way. It would come out a lot better. Overall it's a good dish.
Some of the best Ribs and Brisket I have had in years. Only reason its 4 instead of 5 is the sides were pretty bad. Mac N Cheese had no cheese and the potatoe salad tasted like boiled potatoes. Did I mention how good the Ribs and Brisket were? If not, the ribs and brisket are among the best in the west.

This is a fairly new BBQ place that's local with great tasting meats. They've got different daily specials throughout the week. The sides are good enough with the corn, beans, and potatoe salad being my preferred. Don't care for the mac and cheese because it has meat added to it and it's not creamy. The smokiness of the meats alone is fantastic. The pork ribs, yes please. Although I don't eat cow meat the members of my family that do say the brisket is very tasty as well as the sausage that's made with a mixture of pork and beef. The half chicken is also a good choice for those seeking "lighter" faire. The plates include 2 sides and 2 slices of white bread plus pickles and pickled onions.

The service is great and the interior of the location is very much what you think of with some good bbq. The brisket here was very much on the fatty side which makes anything with chopped brisket unpleasant. The brisket nachos were especially made worse with this and being too soggy.

I don't understand the reviews saying the food is "the best". I've given them two tries and both times the meat was dry and flavorless. Despite the small portion, I had no interest in finishing the brisket. No amount of BBQ sauce helped. The sides are pretty good, 7-8/10, but that's not why you go to a BBQ restaurant. Soft drinks are $4.
I’m not sure if I went at a bad time but I ordered the brisket nachos and they were disappointing to say the least. There was hardly any brisket in the nachos, and the brisket that was on there was just the fatty bits. To me it seemed like they tried to hide the lack of meat by globbing on tons of sour cream. I’d avoid this place altogether the prices don’t reflect the quality of food.

Ordered to go. place is nice and cozy. Lady who took my order was very friendly and pleasant. the food however, was pretty bad. brisket was cut in about 1/2” slices and was very dry. the pork ribs were also dry and salty. i also got the ends of the rack which sucked. they seemed to have been sitting under the warm light for awhile. the sides (mac n cheese and corn) were completely tasteless. also ordered a brisket torta which was okay from what i was told, but then again they were starving. i ended up throwing away the plate. $42 down the drain. sorry but first and last time here.
WORST PLACE IN THE WORK NASTY WE ENDED UP PUTTING OUR FOOD IN THE TRASH CHICKEN WAS DRY AND RED INSIDE RIBS WERE SALTY AND DRY CREAM CORN HORRIBLE THE POTATO OMG NASTY THAT WAS THE WORST THING I EVER GOT I PAID ALMOST $70 FOR ALL THIS TRASH FOOD

Food was good, but ordered a baked potato with only butter and cheese and No brisket for $14.99. Asked since I am paying for brisket, if i could take brisket to go and was not allowed I mean, if i am paying regular price for a meatless baked potato, why not let me take the meat home???
The food was okay definitely was lacking on seasonings and flavor! Also probably the worst service I’ve had in a while. Anyone traveling here I would definitely recommend finding another barbecue spot!
