Left Coast Taco East Aurora Reviews
If you live close to this restaurant consider yourself lucky. Excellent fish taco, really flavorful birria, and I can't wait for the burrito I have leftover for tomorrow
Left Coast Taco was ordered for a meeting/retirement party and exceeded expectations. Our guest of honor was so happy! The entire group loved it and others smelled everything looking for leftovers. Your team did an excellent job with everything. Great portion sizes, reasonable pricing, and on-time delivery. Thank you!
We ordered a catered taco bar lunch for our office and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The owner personally delivered and set up the food, which added such a thoughtful, personal touch to what can be an awkward event for co-workers. Communication during ordering was fantastic—timely online responses, flexible with our timing, and very helpful with menu planning. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, and everything was fresh and delicious. Even the small details stood out: the takeout silverware and serving ware were very sturdy and high quality, which was especially appreciated in a more professional office setting. We love supporting local businesses, and this was a perfect reminder of why choosing local over a chain makes such a difference. Highly recommend for office catering or events! The only negative feedback from the entire office (and that’s saying something with a group of 40 picky, middle-aged (mostly) women 😉) was that we wished there had been tres leches cake for dessert.
I just wish this place was a little bigger. Cute inside. We sit at the bar or outside when the weather is nice. Great food. Love the birria!
Got a Carne Asada Cali Style burrito and it was amazing! Very full of flavor and it was a lot of food at a good price. Heavy recommend!
Besides just being an amazing place for dinner, Left Coast is also an amazing option for catering! We've had two parties catered for our office over the last year. Both times, the food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Chelsea and her team had everything delivered on time, and everything set up quickly, and both services were included in our overall cost. On top of everything, you also get the satisfaction of knowing that you're supporting a small, local business. We seriously cannot say enough good things about Left Coast Taco - you will not be dissapointed!
I wish I could post a picture of the incredible food I always get at LCT, but my phone never gets to eat first. We kick things off with the iconic Chips & All and spicy margs (one with jalapeños, one with hot sauce—hands down the best in town). I usually finish with a loaded bowl (adding mushrooms are a must) or a few of the best tacos around—the grilled shrimp is perfection. As if the food weren’t reason enough to come back, the vibe is unmatched. You’re guaranteed to leave with one or two new friends—staff included, because they’re an absolute riot and so much fun. LCT truly feels like family, and a great time with amazing food is always guaranteed. It's always our go-to "date night" spot because what more could you ask for?
Casual clean atmosphere. Fun staff. They call them Carne Asada el Jefe Grande with crema or something like that. I don't know. I don't speak Mexican. I think it means huge steak (not chorizo whatever that means) burrito with sour cream. At the shop, we call them meat bags - big meat bags, and they are awesome. You should try one. They're big enough to feed two. You're welcome.
I can't say enough good things about the food. I was in town for a work trip and ended up here 3 nights out of 5. My server Morgan was friendly and attentive. I had 3 different tacos carnitas, birria and death empanadas. All were very flavorful and delicious. If you're in the area you have to check them out.
Stopped by this past Saturday. Warm for an October day. Plenty of outdoor seating. Inside is smaller. Rowdy bar. Felt like Florida in July. Classic burrito with beef was a gigantic serving for the price point and delicious. One fish taco, one shrimp taco = two delicious tacos. Personal preference: I liked the shrimp taco better. On the table outside they had wet wipes and napkins readily available. I thought this was a generous touch. Thank you for having us!
You go up to the counter to order your tacos, simple options. Plenty of seating options indoor and on their two patio spaces, once your buzzer rings (very shortly after) you get your grub and wow their portions are great! Lots of meat in the tacos. Great flavor too. Would recommend. We got 2 chicken and 1 pork shoulder (carnitas) Guero tacos and loved them. Also tables had wet wipes as well as napkins. Clean bathroom
I always choose Left Coast Taco for my birthday lunch, and really any time I am in East Aurora and hungry. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor is pet friendly and the staff is wonderful! I wanted a margarita but was driving and they offered me a non alcoholic tequila which I didn't even know was a thing, but it was great!!! Their food is always absolutely delicious, especially the Cali fries!!!
I’ve had them a couple times over the past few years and the quality has always been great. I think it’s gotten even better. The last time I was there I waited an hour for food but this time I walked in and out within 10 minutes. The birria tacos are banging!! And only $10.50 for 2 tacos with all the fixings which is fairly priced compared to other places I’ve gone to for birria tacos. I also got chips and salsa which were really good you can’t go wrong with chips and salsa. And they give you 2 different kinds of salsa which was a nice surprise. The workers there were very kind too.
I really love this place it was an accidental find! My cousin opened a restaurant a few doors away an while going to visit we parked in their lot, I looked at my grandson and said I guess we're getting tacos as we stepped out he mentioned how amazing it smelled outside, and I had to agree. The food was absolutely amazing and a very relaxed but fun atmosphere, not to mention they know how to make michalattas!!🤣 I didn't have one tho due to having grandson with me. I will be back!!
Been meaning to try their new location since they moved a few years ago. My mom had been a few times and was so excited about the bowl meal she’d gotten, but was a little disappointed that it was less flavorful this time. I had the street tacos, which were good and had more meat than I’d expected. The staff was friendly and it was nice to visit when it was a little quieter than it is during the summer.
I stopped in with some friends on a Friday night, it was my first time here and I’d heard good things. It’s a fast casual spot so you have to order and then grab a table and wait for your food to be called. Left coast taco is a cool spot but it’s on the smaller side so it can be a little chaotic if it’s busy. There are some tables, but not a ton, so you might not be able to sit if it’s busy. It is definitely designed for smaller groups, like 5 or less, or great for if you are grabbing a drink. There is one larger table at the entrance and we were lucky to get a hold of it when we arrived. It was very busy so trying to hold the table and order food was a little all over the place. Once food was ready they called your name but you could barely hear or understand it. It sounded like the Charlie Brown speaker. They need to get some better announcement system or give people buzzers so people can get their order more efficiently. While we waited we enjoyed a tasty round of margaritas. I ordered the birria tacos. Good sized portion, decent flavor but the meat was a little more tough than I prefer. It didn’t shred as well as it should because it could have been stewed longer. But overall not bad. We ordered another round of margaritas. This is where things got weird. My drink tasted like the first one but was about 3/4 full. My friends got drinks about 1/2 full and were glasses of triple sec. I’d maybe give this place another try, not on a weekend, and hope for more consistency and a seamless visit.
