Pizza Man

They make such delicious pizza. Good enough I don't really get pizza anywhere else now. Eat some fresh, the crust is so good out of the oven. But also, great deals on delivery!

Not getting the bad reviews posted here. Pizza Man is the BEST Neopolitan-style pizza in Pasadena. Period. We've been ordering from them for 5 years, since before they were on GrubHub or any other delivery service. We spent a month in Italy and Pizza Man is the closest you will get to real Italian pizza, without a doubt. And they will take orders until 11pm, which, for Pasadena, is quite accommodating. However, be aware. If you are ordering via a service (Grubhub, Doordash, etc), I don't think they get the "special instructions." In other words, if you want parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, plasticware, etc, you actually must call the restaurant after you order online and let them know. This is no condemnation on the pizza itself, but rather on the delivery companies. When we're craving pizza, the only place we order from is Pizza Man. Fast, hot, delicious. Try the thin crust. It's insanely good.

talk about getting the most bang for your buck - not only is the food AMAZING at Pizza Man, the staff is amazing, the food is filling, and the prices are fair. if you're looking for the best slice in the SGV, look no further!

The staff were very kind and very quick with my order. They said it would take 15 mins for 2 medium size pizza and they got it right on the dot. Pizza tasted very good, not too heavy which I like.

Do yourself a favor and order a Hawaiian pizza it is insane I’ve tried other pizza places and their Hawaiian pizza combines so well with their dough/crust, the pineapple goes well with the sauce and cheese I don’t want to ramble on but i love it it’s my regular order now. Also when I went in to dine they were watching older basketball game I thought it was cool ya know.

I visited Pasadena on another pretense and then lunch time rolled around and I found my favorite "pizza man". So fresh and delectable. I found me this great spot when I am visiting pasadena. I am excited to say in addition that they have the sports channel on and at a very nice volume and one can view two games at once. Loved my visit and I can't wait for another excuse to stop by and have their fresh food. Check them out it totally is home away from home!😋

Very good pizzas. My picky kids ate up the pepperoni and cheese and wanted more. The second pizza we got was the deluxe and it was very yummy fresh veggies. My only complaints is the small salad I got. It was VERY small like ONE piece of romaine lettuce leaf and few olives. I knew it was gonna be small but not that small! At least put two lettuce leaves. It was still fresh and good but wish I got a little more because it seemed like a joke....other than that good pizza. Well be back but won't be ordering the sad small salad lol

Hi , Went last nite. Ordered the pizza on special for 12.99 ( 3 toppings ) it was good. Only thing is needs more cheese !!! And ordered beef ribs to go. They were good , but would of thought at least 4 ribs equal 1 lb. But they are weighed. And it is hot inside , don't think they have the air conditioner on. ( i know they must get hot in the back with oven on ) Last time i went last year , it was also hot inside. I know 98% of people order to go , but i eat inside.

Told the driver to leave my order at the door. Driver knocked over one of my plants and it smashed on the floor. Said he didnt even touch it. So the "wind" knocked it over? Cmon man. I left delivery instructions on the order. Pizzas are great there though.

I took two bites and threw them in the trash. $9! Don't order! I have to remember that I don't like their Caesar salad dressing, too.

Decent tasting pizza but that's about it. The toppings were minimal, as if the staff have been mandated to skimp as much as possible. If a 70 to 30 ratio of bread to toppings is your thing, you'll enjoy it. But if you want something that is more than just flavoured bread, look elsewhere.

I haven't eaten the pizza yet, but the service is so bad and the staff so rude (blonde in yoga pants, big guy in Mickey Mouse tee) , even if the pizza is fantastic, the best they can get is an extra star from me. Exception- the nice brunette who was scraping graffiti from the window. Funny, the person doing the shittiest job has the best attitude.

Wanted to try a new pizza spot. The food made my wife and son stomach flip. I'm okay, but my stomach is made of bricks, so that doesn't mean much.

Great food and plenty of variety for everyone! However, i strongly advise they do better rotation of their product. The to go cups of ranch we received were bulging, -like with gas build up, when things expire- you could tell it was long expired before even opening it. Smelled awful. Could really make someone sick. Byo ranch, i guess? I also advise against the garlic parmesan "sauce" - it's just melted butter, garlic powder, & grated parmesan; not a true garlic parmesan sauce.

I was lazy to go to blaze with my kids. So I ordered from Pizza Man cause it was only 4$ to deliver, so I ordered a 10$ pizza and it was a freakin individual, there were no sizes on the site, or at least I didn’t take extra time to look, And I ordered ribs 10$ and the suckeeeeeeeeed! The pizza was decent, but the ribs were THEE worst in my life. I feel so guilty for wasting money. The pizza is aiight, but please don’t order the ribs they are a waste.

That's what it smelled like. No spices, just grease & chicken. Not even salt. Last night's chicken did not even look good enough to eat. It looked like the chicken was riddled with bone cancer. It was not a healthy chicken (alive or dead). Almost makes me want to become a VEGAN (God help me). It (the Terminal chicken) ended up in the trash. My dog "MILLIE Beast" didn't want any part of it. So, in summary, don't order from PIZZA MAN. In Espanol: "NO MAS PIZZA HOMBRE." UPDATE: 3 days later my wife is still ill (bad stomach cramps). She hasn't eaten anything since the pizza except toast, and is going to the bathroom every hour or so. I'm not 100% either, though ok compared to my wife. I'm going to call Urgent Care right now. The owner needs to find out who made or prepared the food the day or day before I wrote this review, and see if safe food preparation is being done there. The fried chicken was definitely not fresh, diseased maybe, and something was off with Pepperoni Pizza. I know I sort of joke a bit, but in all seriousness, don't order from this place. I should have taken pictures, but my phone is broken.

I’ve never been to a business where the employee or the owner talked me out of giving them business, but tonight was an exception. I initially called to order 2 pizza but was told No Phone Orders. So I walked there to be told there was a 45min wait which was manageable. After waiting for 10min to order the same employee/owner told me 1hr & 50min would be the wait….No thanks!!!

Don't go here. The service was terrible. When i walked in there was no one at the front. I had to call for someone twice before a person came out to take our order. He got our order wrong and we were the only customers in the restaurant. There were flies everywhere. The pizza was ok.

Ordered on line and the driver left the pizza on thr ground outside our gate even through I gave them the gate code. Called the store and Omar said oh that's grub had fault. Well not moe pizza guys for me.

Food is good, but service is TERRIBLE! They encourage direct orders but are incapable of giving accurate times, don't answer the phone and are just plain rude. Who wants food that's been sat is a delivery driver's car for over 40 minutes?! We were regular orderers but it has gotten worse so no more. Plenty of other pizza places in Pasadena - go there instead.

there is no display in this establishment that they do not accept larger bills nor carry change. you’re allowed to do a phone order arrive to the restaurant just to have the server stare at you and repeat they do not have change offering for us to go to another restaurant to get it. WE DID GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT THAT HAD CHANGE READILY AVAILABLE

I love Pizza man, i have been ordering for years! The service the past couple of nights i have been getting from the guy on the phone is shocking. I am flabbergasted of the crude behavior. The delivery guy delivered the food and he didnt see it was paid for so we called the location together and The guy on the phone who worked tonight and last night kept saying wrong number and would hang up on both of us. HIS OWN CO WORKER HUNG UP ON HIM FROM MY CELL AND HIS!!... I really need to speak to the manager and so i called back today. I asked for the manager and instead of introducing himself as the manager after i asked for him he replied with what do you want... He then said Jano is his manager so i hope to speak to him.

I order on uber eats, their food is very good but when i called just to make sure my pizza was made correctly (i’ve had a lot of problems with uber eats and restaurants not reading my notes) they were extremely rude and just hung up on me. Reading the other reviews about their customer service, i’m not surprised. Edit: Just tried calling for delivery again and i’ve never been spoken to so rudely over the phone before. Changed my rating to 1 star because it’s absolutely ridiculous. I had to say my address like 6 times because he wasn’t listening and kept interrupting me while i was trying to tell him and they don’t even deliver to my area (which i’ve gotten it delivered here before). HORRIBLE service. Good food but not good enough to deal with their irreverent behavior.

I got raw chicken wings even after I said Krispy wings don't know how you messed that up. Pizza was okay, But the wings were the kill to the whole items we order lost my appetite waste of money.

I've ordered from this place multiple times. Every time there was leaking sauce in the bag, a mess to say the least. The drivers don't care to be careful. Tired of it. I gave them a second chance and they failed. Asked to talk to the manager and he held it against me because I left them a bad review. Unprofessional to say the least. Don't bother with this place.

12 dollars for a meatball sandwich, I would not even pay 5 dollars for what they gave me, soggy bread, bland sauce, bland chewy meatballs, cheese had the texture of rubber and the whole thing smelled weird. It came with fries but fries were floppy and soggy, also bland. Everything tasted like they made it days before then microwaved.

I’ve been a customer of Pizza Man since the 80’s in L.A. now I live in Pasadena and have order many times. Yesterday was the worst experience I’ve ever had, when I called to speak to someone regarding the service the experience got worse. He couldn’t understand what I needed in English or Spanish and I speak fluent Spanish. When the driver finally arrived he said that it took so long because of the ^Super Bowl^😳😳 To make it worse the Fried Chicken was very over cooked and dry. I very sad and disappointed😔

I ordered on uber eats a keto pizza with shrimp and chicken. 22 bucks mind you. Size of chicken cubes size of finger nails. Shrimp are tiny prepackaged mind you still cold in the center like why? Everything arrived extremely cold. Which didn’t make any sense if the crust was burnt I had to renuke in the air fryer. I had super high hopes all I can say it’s not bang for your buck. Try somewhere else please

The pizza I received was not fully cooked. The dough was still sticky in the middle and so soft that I could mold it and bake a pie. The dough literally looked like melted mozzarella cheese. (See the pictures) I called the store, and they treated me like I was trying to get a free pizza. I can understand that because I worked in a restaurant before, and saw few people doing that. I wanted to be nice to them and just tell them they need to watch out for undercooked food. Then, I would probably have throw the pizza into my oven and just cook it myself. However, the way they instantly talked rudely at me just turned me off. Let me tell you if the Pizzaman workers are reading this: I DON'T NEED A FREE PIZZA BECAUSE I CAN AFFORD ONE MYSELF. ALL I WANTED WAS A FULLY-COOKED PIZZA! They talked so rudely and they were pissed at me for telling them that the pizza is under-cooked. They told me (almost yelled) that I should have asked for a "well-done pizza." I have never ordered a well-done pizza from anywhere else and never received a undercooked pizza, so I just assumed that this place cooks their dough all the way. The delivery guy came to pick up the pizza, and he even opened the box to see if we didn't eat more than two slices. Also, they never apologized for anything.*** To be honest, their food isn't that good, so I am fine with not ordering here. Their wings are tooooooo greasy and blend. The pizza is "eh." I just ordered here before because it just opened and tried to find a good pizza place. See the pictures: The dough looks like cheese and so sticky that it sticks to the box like glue. I can also mold the uncooked dough! The crust looks cooked, but in the middle it is still sticky. You can see that the color in the middle is darker and looks wet, because IT IS. Sad to write this review, but we have been living in Pasadena for a while and this was our go-to Pizza Place. The pizza itself is good unfortunately the owner and workers there are constantly rude on multiple occasions. We have had to deal with their rude remarks when placing orders. They seem to not care about being normally courteous to their customers. If you are looking for a good pizza place to support suggest you find other ones in the area that care about their customer experience.

I’ve been going to this place for years because the pizza is good and they have vegan options. The costumer service is absolutely HORRIBLE!! The person who takes the online orders for pick ups is extremely rude and disrespectful over the phone. When I got to the place to pick up my order I asked for the manager and come to find out it was the guy who takes the orders on the phone. I tried to order two toppings for my pizza. Of course, I would pay for two. However, it would not allow me to get two toppings of mushrooms. Worst of all the pizza was so oily it gave me a stomach. Also, their prices have gone up. Not worth it. Still feeling ill. I only write reviews when it really matters.

Sad to write this review, but we have been living in Pasadena for a while and this was our go-to Pizza Place. The pizza itself is good unfortunately the owner and workers there are constantly rude on multiple occasions. We have had to deal with their rude remarks when placing orders. They seem to not care about being normally courteous to their customers. If you are looking for a good pizza place to support suggest you find other ones in the area that care about their customer experience.

I’ve been going to this place for years because the pizza is good and they have vegan options. The costumer service is absolutely HORRIBLE!! The person who takes the online orders for pick ups is extremely rude and disrespectful over the phone. When I got to the place to pick up my order I asked for the manager and come to find out it was the guy who takes the orders on the phone. He completely disregarded what I had to say and continued doing his job. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. Not worth it!

I’ve been a customer of Pizza Man since the 80’s in L.A. now I live in Pasadena and have order many times. Yesterday was the worst experience I’ve ever had, when I called to speak to someone regarding the service the experience got worse. He couldn’t understand what I needed in English or Spanish and I speak fluent Spanish. When the driver finally arrived he said that it took so long because of the ^Super Bowl^😳😳 To make it worse the Fried Chicken was very over cooked and dry. I very sad and disappointed😔
