Tacos del Julio East Freeway Reviews
First time coming to eat here and I did love there tacos are barbacoa and trompo burger
I stopped in while I waited for my DMV appointment and OMG so worth it. The tacos were great.
Great spot to dine in or take out
We had dinner here. It was pretty quiet on Sunday. The waitress was very professional, experienced, and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back
It is a great restaurant and it’s very near my house. I go there every two weeks. I love the Mexican food there I always get the same thing every time I go and the ladies that serve me are very nice and helpful even though they don’t know English very well they still try, thank you for your service
Absolutely incredible. The tacos del trompo were superb. If you want authentic Mexican cusine look no further. Besides, prices are very, very affordable. The service was helpful and friendly, and the food was yummy. I ran into it by accident - and it has been one of the best accidents I have made lately! 5/5 local foods.
I don't come to Houston often, but when I do I know that I can always find great Mexicam food. I came here 3 years ago & found Tacos Del Julio. So I'm back, I absolutely can't get enough of this place. I had Asada del Julio, So much flavourful. I wish I could take this place home with me. I even ordered tomorrow's lunch to go. I'll be back
Have not been in a while. The food looks delicious but it was too greasy
Menudo was so good! Service was good too. I didn't give them 5 stars because the restrooms didn't have soap. How do the employees and/or customers wash their hands then?? I had to ask for soap. Unacceptable, but something that management can quickly correct.
Food was ok the place has really gone downhill no people , closed down bar and food was mid, but what blew me the most was they charged gratuity. I had no idea until after I left and got in my car, on top of that I left a tip. It’s kind of my fault for not looking at the receipt but they should tell you when they are charging a gratuity fee, then again the signs were there from how raggedy the place got over the years.
This place has gone downhill :( it used to be our favorite place. We gave it another chance today and the food was cold as it sat in the window till the server finally brought it out. Not to mention after she brought out our food she never checked on us till it was time to pay. My husband ordered extra beans and we never got them and she brought us and extra drink that we never ordered. We also noticed she was the only employee there leaving her to play server, cashier, and food runner. I’m assuming that’s why she was not in the nicest mood. Server needs better training and more help.
No English, food wasn't like any Mexican I've ever had and I eat authentic Mexican food all over tx . No sweet tea, can cokes
Horrible experience. I arrived waiting over 10 minutes to get the waiter to get to my table. The menus have a prices with some of them crossed over with new prices. I was asking about the prices to waiter and she was upset for me asking about prices. Her response was I don’t know the price it’s what ever the machine says. She gave so much attitude, just ruined my entire family’s appetite. I love the Tacos de Julio on Airline and never had this problem. I will never go here again with this negative unprofessional environment. If only I could give zero stars
