Nice place. Staff is always pretty cool. Been here a few times for their special of two Big macs... no, sorry.. two Whoppers for $7. Sadly that deal is no moe guys. :(
I never went here for ten years because they had soy protein in the burger pattie and it didn't sit well. Today they have removed the soy and this burger is th8e best with that off the barbeque taste. The fries are still great since they introduced coated fries which stand up to the trip home. Not like KFC fries which MUST be eaten right away or they turn into a woody mulch.

I haven't been to the Burger King in a while I always had bad experience every time I come here. But today April 15 2021. I cannot eat much so I only get something small I order chicken nuggets a small order because I had stomach surgery I can't eat a whole lot and the gentleman that took my order and hand me my food was so sweet and so nice and a wonderful heart I wanted to say thank you. I didn't get his name shame on me I just want to say yes dark hair tall chubby I'm chubby too and I just want to say thank you he worked in the morning time.

Have to retract my old review. I know I should check what I’m given but also shouldn’t have to make sure people are doing the job correctly. 1st I asked the guy for zesty he didn’t bat an eye and threw some sauce in the bag…. I get home and inside the bag is BBQ and no zesty ….. you would think since you’re paying them more they would care slightly more to retain their new paying job. On top of throwing ketchup packets on top of the French fries with bare hands. Might as well just rub the food on the ground. Shake machine every time I go seems to be down….
Yummy onion rings.. yummy whoppers and chicken sandwiches. I order two $30 meals and left my house right after placing the order. Drive 5 mins to Burger King and it was already ready! Everything was made correctly and we customized a few sandwiches. The young kid at the counter was very friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. This is the best experience I have had at any Burger King in a very long time
The food is what you pay for, use of the app is what makes it worth it in getting more bang for your buck. Service is pretty decent, however always check your bag as they may forget an item occasionally but they're more than willing to fix the mistakes. The place itself is just a run of the mill fast food place not bad but not great either.
I've only gone through to the drive up window so can't comment on atmosphere but service has always been top notch and the app consistently has good deals available. Pricing is far better than that archie place too!

I applaud Burger King for having the impossible whooper! Thank you for including us vegans. And, they do a pretty good job on it...the charbroiled patty which makes it delicious ( at least, it doe for me). And the staff at this location were very friendly and helpful. It does not go un-noticed.
As I've gotten older most of my favorite fast food places have changed and or reduced their menu. The food is not as good but way more expensive. But, I can say honestly that the whopper is still the whopper and the onion rings haven't changed either. 30 bucks for 2 burgers and 2 orders of rings is ridiculous, but, as tasty as I remember.
This has to be one of my favorite Burger King locations. I'm always greeted with great enthusiasm from the staff. They are attentive to my order and while there are times they may have forgotten the extra cheese I've ordered, they compensate with their service. I personally enjoy my conversations and service from Miriam. This has been the one location that has never been stingy with their sauces and really work hard to make your dining experience and enjoyable one. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. The food is fresh and that alone is so important to me and I can't express how grateful I am for it.
THANKS JACKSON! I love to see that they brought down the price of the tacos. I stopped by here and Jackson was super friendly and very helpful. I like to have it my way right away and my opinion is…Burger King has the best tasting patties. They also seem to have more specials lately, making it more affordable. I’m all about saving $

Okay, if you are going to be the most expensive fast food place, get the order right! Hell, you have me even typing in my order in the app. While you are at it, work on getting buns that don't taste 3 days old. You can do better.
We went on a Friday night, 6 p.m. Our order was taken quickly, our food was served promptly. The whoppers were hot, juicy, and prepared neatly! The fries are not how O remember them from my childhood, they were, in fact, phenomenal! Thicker cut, hot, fresh, salty & scrumptious! I would have given Five Stars, but the restaurant tables could have been bussed a little better. This location is remodeled, cleared tables would accentuate that investment.
Apparently I forgot that cheese is optional. Food was fast. Fries were moderately warm. Note: dropped a star. Ordered thru Grub Hub, store completely screwed up the order No pickles means no pickles.
Grossly understaffed, I waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order. Staff was tending to the drive thru customers and ignoring the patrons at the front counter. Left without ordering anything. Whoever the owner is, doesn't seem to understand the concept of fast food. If I wanted to wait 30 minutes for someone to take my order I would have gone to a restaurant where they serve real food.
Disorganized for the most part. Cheese sticks were over cooked and made them hard and not tasty at all. As usual checked my bags to make sure everything was there, was missing the hershey pie. I did get it and the chicken nuggets were great as well as the pie.
Had to wait 15 min minimum for getting the fish sandwich. They asked me to park the car (after I ordered and paid at drive thru) in parking lot since its not ready. I wonder why they dont inform you about the wait time when you are ordering ? I have been told about any wait times at Burger King....
Despite multiple attempts, the app would not update/open once I was at the restaurant location. My friend has to download the app on her device, go inside and place our order. Food served was hot and fresh and to order, and service was quite quick. The fries and the original chicken sandwich both seemed overly salty. Other than that the meal was satisfactory.
Well it was your standard Burger King no deviation from your other stand-alone fast food. The lobby was clean which is always a good thing.if you've read my other reviews you'll notice I always comment on the cleanliness of the lobby that's because I have well over 10 years experience in the foodservice industry. In my opinion if the lobby isn't clean neither is the kitchen.
The drive through is a bit tight, so if you have a larger or long vehicle be aware. Staff were friendly and up beat, I think one of the guys was in training and was doing good to keep things quick and flowing. The burger was great, nice and charred and yummy, the fries were a bit under cooked and several were soggy, chicken sandwich was juicy inside and crisp out.
This Burger King is okay. The drive-thru is well maintained. I normally go through there. It's only when you go inside sometimes there's not enough workers to work the cash register as well as the drive through. The inside is clean enough and the workers are not the friendliest but they're not totally rude.

Love this place on the lowkey but I have one complaint that made me write this review. I had gotten a promo and got two chicken sandwiches and only received one. Their reasoning for this after having to drive back was they forgot to tell us there was no more chicken sandwiches. Like what!
Well I like Burger King I would give it a four normally but I went there to try their new chicken sandwich to see how it compares to Popeye's chicken sandwich and there's no comparison. It was good but nothing like Popeye's chicken sandwich they're chicken sandwich is so huge and so thick it hangs off the bun on both sides! So I was disappointed in Burger King's chicken sandwich but then the next day I ordered Popeyes chicken sandwich and got my fulfillment here's a picture of Popeye's chicken sandwich!
Came to try the tacos. Burger King used to have tacos about 30 years ago. Made with shredded beef and they were good. Well, these tacos are NOT shredded beef. In fact when I inquired if they were shredded or ground beef, the cashier had to ask a manager "what kind of meat is in the tacos?" Manager says "beef and soya." I should have said no to the soya "soy" and to the taco at that point, but my curiosity and the $1 price, i just went for it. Bad choice, that was an awful taco. First, the taco arrives on the tray and the paper it is in is smeared with food, gross (see photo). The meat was mushy and didn't taste like anything at all, four slivers of lettuce and a minuscule amount of cheese. Bleeeachk. I will not order another taco. P.S. The staff could wipe off the tables once in a while, we sat at the only clean one in the whole restaurant.
Nuggets that were made before my order were cold and soggy. Fries that were made before my order were cold and soggy. I ordered the Bacon King Jr and the size was wrong and had onions when it's only supposed to be ketchup and mayo. Everything was cold. Only good thing about my order was the prepackaged and pre made pie slices and the pop which the lady didn't put a straw in my bag for.
3 people working. Nobody to ask for my drink cup. They all seemed confused with my order of a whopper with out onions, pickers, easy mayo... I guess they thought NO TOMATO either... overwhelmed, short staffed and non attentive.
The food here always tastes old. Bread isn't fresh as other burger King i usually visit. Today we were on the same block so we settled for it and as usual bad quality. Eh you get what you pay for here definitely.
There was a few employees to handle the lunch rush, so the service wasn't good. They forgot an item I ordered and I had to wait to get condiments. No one helped me, so i just sat down. I think service would have been better if more employees were working that shift
Service was awful, flies buzzing around the girl who was taking our order. And they got one of the milk shakes wrong and I got back to tell them and the lady slams it on the counter like is was my fault. Really 👎 want eat there because of the service food was good except the fountain drinks had no carbonation in them...
When I placed my order at 2:30pm. I let the person behind the counter that there coke wasn't working. She said ok, it took me 10 minutes to get my food. The burger was cold there was 1 piece of bacon on it. After I was done eating I went back to fill my cup with coke. Some 20 minutes later the coke was still the same as before. One just water the other just foam. Very disappointed.
Ordered chicken sandwich and fries was good and service fast but homeless living in parking lot approaching me in drive-through scary...not sure will return because of that
Food made us sick. Had to wait 5-10 mins. for 2 burgers. We were asked to pull forward at the drive-through. It seemed ridiculous because their were no cars behind us!! ( I'm almost certain we were the only customers! ) They screwed up our order and wouldn't even compensate our Onion Rings!!
I don't dine here because of the excessive amount of water they waste. The irrigation system waters the sidewalk and parking lot as much as it waters the landscaping. Should they fix this, I will dine here and give them the review they deserve for their food, service and atmosphere.
The food was fine. The cashier was very nice. The restrooms could not be used as a homeless person had made a mess and it had to be off limits until it was sanitized. There was an incredibly bad smell at the soda dispenser. Bad enough that if we had smelled that prior to ordering and paying, it would have been a reason to turn and leave.
The customer service was okay, but they made me pull forward right away so that their timer could stop running. When the cashier gave me my order the 2 small fries I had order were thrown in the brown bag and the cartons were just on top. She didn't ask if I needed ketchup or any other sauce. They didn't even give me napkins. It was not busy and it was 8:30 pm. So I really think this is unacceptable since they're open until 12:00am.
When I got to the register, it took a while for someone to take my order and the employee was not very nice. When I got my drink the lids were next to the machine but no straws? They also had a small bucket that said sanitizer on it, the water was black and discussing with a towel in it. The lobby looked dirty and the floor's were dirty as well. They need to work on customer service and cleanness. It makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.
They give me my entire order cold!! I Had to drive back to return the food & get my money back but they were closed when I got there & I had to bang on the door to get assistance. Then the manager instructed me to go to the drive through window and give me my refund out of her own pocket cause she has already closed her cash drawer. So that's why the low star rating. It would've been only 1 but that manager was helpful.
This particular location is in a very convenient location for a quick lunch and is convenient to the freeway for commuters. The was great, however I have to say the service was a huge disappointment. I walk in and the cashier was very impolite and did not allow me to make modifications to my order. And placing my order I waited more than 15 minutes and my order sat on the counter as the cashier was not calling the numbers. So I ended up eating cold food. This Burger King needs a reminder that customer service starts when customers are present and when they leave.
Using the drive-thru, we ordered two of the new SpongeBob meals, but I was told that you could substitute the tots for mozzarella sticks. When I made my order, the cashier informed me that was not the case. So I said never mind. Mind, we don't want the sticks. We'll just take the tots. He then charged us for an extra side of mozzarella sticks and we didn't get any tater tots as a part of the order. We also did not get the pies that were supposed to come with the order and the alterations to the sandwiches that I requested were made incorrectly. At no point does it seem like the order taker paid attention to a word I said and we did not get our full order despite being charged.
This location - Johnson St, across from Fletcher Parkway Mall, El Cajon, CA is in a good location, very visible, as we found it easily. Drive thru is the only way to go & we were able to order easily, the cashier (a gentleman) was very personable & quick. The Drive thru window has a Plexiglass covid shield to prevent contamination. We were a little apprehensive about how "Narrow" the drive thru lane is, it turns into this very narrow alleyway-the wall on both sides are too close to sides of our vehicle. There's huge scratch marks on the walls as vehicles scrape the wall due to limited space. Got our burgers (Whoppers, fries & drinks). Burger was warm & meat Patty was dry & needed seasoning, tasted bland. Bun was so dry, easily falls apart. Fries seemed fresh, just lukewarm & a bit soggy, not hot & crunchy. I can imagine - how much of an urgency to cook & serve them, but quality needs critical attention. We like Burger King and have not had a mediocre experience until today. It would do well for Management to immediately address this major concern as Burger King is up against some strong competition all around them. I believe in their product and an immediate attention to details is in order. Another suggestion - paint the vehicle- scratched up, grafitti walls by the narrow drive thru lane, paint a red or dark horizontal line along it, it will make it easier to gauge how close your vehicle is to the wall, and, it will look better.
Burger King did not look busy. There were three women packaging orders and at least two people working the food line. I was the first and only person in line for several minutes. I was not acknowledged, even to tell me they would be with me soon, until I was waited on, about 7 minutes after my arrival. Other customers were standing there waiting for their orders. I could not tell what was taking so long, but the three women seemed to be standing and waiting to pack orders rather than taking new orders. Once I place my order, it took only three or four minutes to receive it. My only food complaint is that some of the fries were fresh and some were not.
My wife ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich and they gave her TWO end pieces (which tasted terrible) and they basically put about an entire carton worth of soggy scrambled eggs into our food. The mocha joes tasted like they filled half the cup with Hershey syrup then put a little bit of coffee in there. We'll be steering clear of here from now on.
Advertised as opening at 6am. I have gone here at 6am just a month or two ago and gotten food at the drive thru. Today I showed up at 6:03 (GPS time). I waited at the drive thru menu (which was lit up bright as expected for an open business) until 6:06am with no response from an employee. I drove to the window to find a garbage can sitting in the window. As I was driving away (to McDonalds) I saw at least one employee in the building. The lights inside were all on. I assume the employee was getting paid, but the business isn’t. Butler King must have deep pockets to pay employees to be at work and not take money from customers.
Before 5pm, the store gets 4 stars...but when the streetlights come on, the store goes to garbage. The woman at the drive thru handed me my burger and asked me to pull forward because they had to make fresh fries. Sat there and waited 5 minutes with a cold burger before she came out with my fries. Got home and realized they didn't even throw away the old fries, just mixed the fresh ones in with them. Every other fry is cold and chewy...I mean, are they REALLY that lazy, or do they think people don't know the difference between stale fries? It's simple stuff and I feel like a dick complaining this much, but I just paid $9 for garbage I'd be embarrassed to give away for free.
I came to this Burger King at 6:20am (some their hours are posted as 6:00am on Wednesdays). The drive thru monitors were not on. There was a team member that saw me while they were outside in the dumpster area and didn’t care to inform me when they were truly opening. I waited 5-10 minutes in hopes that someone may be running late today. Nope. They just weren’t ready to open. 0 stars if I could. I got out of bed to come here for them not to be open
I WENT through the drive thru the lady was rude kept cutting me off wouldn't let me finish telling her my order. She kept saying she got my order but on the screen it was wrong. When I got to the window she charges me extra for an item she didnt give me then she missed an item so she had to charge my card for the missing item and give me cash for the item she over charged me for. I asked her who's the manager she claimed to be her. I would never go back to this Burger King.
This poor Burger King has been ruined by all the scary ass tweakers around there. I swear theres like 6 of them milling around in the drive thru area.The employees are so rude to everyone because they deal with the tweaker street peoples weirdness constantly. They turned off the soda machines in the lobby like 30 minutes early then act disgusted when you ask for a refill. Allowing 2 sauces per 10 nuggets and being weird. I feel bad for the workers because this would be a tough place to work but they should at least TRY to be nice to their customers. We will not be returning.
First thing that has me floored... the amount of money these people get paid. I ordered the royal chicken sandwich non- spicy, with cheese. 2 of them. Received 1 spicy chicken sandwich without cheese! The girl at the counter acted like I was a total inconvenience and waste of her time. Only in California, where they breed fktards by throwing a monkey a football!
Tearable, horrible. My order was screwed up due to a lack of employees. I had enough time waiting in my car to be able to walk into a restaurant sit down, eat, pay the bill and make if back to my car before I recieved my food at the window. I drive off after all that and my order is short a burger. Now I have to drive around the block go back walk in and get my 2nd burger. Mmmm not a happy camper today.
They put something in my food that made me incredibly sick... I don't know if it was food poisoning or something else that was put in the food that poisoned me, the woman behind the counter the night before my illness she completely ignored me and I was simply trying to help her. She really upset another customer that was an elderly woman that had a child with her. I never would have thought someone would do something to make someone that sick. They should be sued and or held accountable for what they did to me and I hope they get shut down. I want people to know.... Never ever eat at this place, do so at your own risk. I am still recovering as I write this review, I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through.
Fries what hit but soggy and salty. Burgers and chicken nuggets was completely nasty. So nasty I made the decision I don't want any more burger King. I ended up recooking and seasoning them to just eat them and not waste my money.
People there not helpful.I went there get my food then I tried to get Oreo shake it’s was my reward I wasn’t complaining the order and I didn’t know that.the employee was mean to me she didn’t explain to me then I replaced it again and she told me to pull over there is a customer after me.what about me I’m a customer she need to take care off me nicely.I said no I’m not moving there’s no way to go back to there parking lot if I left.she slam the window on me and said whatever.this is so rude
I don’t understand how this place is still open. Went there on a Sunday at 4pm. NO CARS in the lot. My initial thought as I approached the drive thru was that they’d closed. I ordered a chicken sandwich and an apple pie. When I got home, I discovered the bread was old and hard, the chicken was barely warm, and the apple pie was still frozen. I can’t imagine this place is actually turning a profit, and will not be surprised at all when this places closes, or is shut down by the health department.
I got in line on my lunch break from work at 10:02am. 4 cars were ahead of me in line and they were taking an average of 5 mins per car to hand out 1 bag of food at a time. I worked at Carl’s Jr. for years, 5 min cars were unacceptable and warranted discipline. I spent nearly 25 mins in line and had to drive past the window once I got there or I would have been late to work. Absolutely ridiculous, get your s**t together
my order was 2 Oegional chicken sandwiches and a medium fry. The Chicken sandwich tasted nasty and it smell like jalapeno peppers were put on it. but there wasn't any when I took the top bun off.The fries were cold and you can taste the oil🤮. This store across from Parkway Plaza needs to be overhaul the quality of the food is not up to standards this is not the first time I've had issues with them, but I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but 3 strike that is it WILL NOT BE GOING BACK
I ordered them for lunch through the Uber app to my job. The food was missing items and the safety seal placed on the bag was broken. Not sure where the ball was dropped but I really don't play when it comes to food so I just wasted 21 bucks on an 12 dollar meal as I threw it away cause you never know what people will do to your food. Thanks for nothing.
Every time I get a breaded chicken anything here, it's over cooked. Today it was dry as well. They're terrible about toppings. They never know when their equipment is going to be fixed. Fries and onion rings are good though. Pleasant people. I went through the drive thru.
Worst experience ever! Do not get the chicken sandwich! I got all the way to work and I had just meat bun and pickles no sauce at all. I took it back they said they ran out of the sauce the chicken sandwich comes with. The meat is dry and hard it's so obvious it's from them reheating the non used meat from the day before. This location needs to go through retraining or close down! You can't even see the words or numbers on the recipe paper to input the information in the mybkexperience.com website!
I was in my job training program and my job coach was ordering my food and had to change the order multiple times because he could not hear what I said I wanted. This was through a drive through and the woman who made the order became impatient and rude. After we received our food and left to eat the food at the mall, I found a booger in my soda, which was completely inconsiderate and disrespectful. I demand that this issue should be addressed because this is completely not okay
They didn't honor the 2 for 5 on whoppers, they said we need a coupon. on the website it 2 for 5. There are people on your commercial no mention if coupon. The any size drink on commercial is 1 they didn't honor and the employee at drive thru had an attitude????? Got home and the food was hot and delicious.
The inside smelt horrible the ice maker was broken and the frosty machine was melted, the worker that took my order was nice but a drive thru worker had an attitude and didn't seem happy at all. The fountain drinks didn't work only one that worked was the sprite definitely never going there again ill gladly drive to lakeside.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Stale bread, cold patties, cold fries. They took the order but could not hear what we were saying so in order to communicate, we were yelling at the speaker and the order taker kept saying, "what"? After taking the order, we are then informed that it's cash only..... fine. Pulled up to the window. We pay, get the drink and are told to pull forward. We do, guy comes out with the food, practically throw the food at us and then runs back inside. The bag felt cold, food was cold, and the people working g had no customer service at all. Will NEVER go to this one again!
This place is a loss cause. The workers are extremely disrespectful and don’t know how to do there job. Multiple times that I had to repeat myself and they’re responses were extremely disrespectful. Not only that I asked nicely for my food but when I asked for a straw the dude that took my order threw the straw in my vehicle. If I were the manager at that place I would have a full restart on who they hire. The foods super nasty as well and super cold. One more thing is they took forever to give my card back and were super sketchy about giving it back when I asked.
The moment we started the conversation the woman taking our order immediately sprung an attitude on us. She tried to deny us our order before we could fully explain that it was a special pickup order. Nearly everything on the order was incorrect. We got no sauce at all when it was in our order. And the service was awful and felt very unfriendly.
This location has gone downhill since the last couple of years and the current "crew" is absolutely lost when it comes to customer service. Very disappointing considering I only come here because it's the only one left in El Cajon. I love the taste of the original Whopper and how it always brings me back to my childhood memories eating here with my folks, but always seems to fade away from the frustration regarding my order either being wrong or receiving horrible customer service from employees that are miserable to be working there. If you don't want to work, then go find something else that would make you happy. I would hate to see this fast food chain to go away because of employees that care less about their customers and more about their paycheck. Sad really 🥺
Always a disappointing experience. The buns are usually dried out and fall apart. The meat is too cold to melt the cheese to the burger. The soda machine always smells like a bag of old crushed recycling. It's just too bad. They could be so delicious. Cookies stale and ultra hard. It just makes it gross. The nuggets are either so hard they hurt your mouth or under cooked and mushy in the middle.
Don't go to this Burger King!! They get the order wrong, they use old bread and food, they are rude and when you call to complain to a manager they do not answer their phone. And don't try calling the BK customer service number because they don't care. You tell them your whole story and they offer you a free whopper!! Free whopper??? Are you kidding me? I could do the survey on the back of the receipt and get a free whopper!! Ridiculous!!
Worst BK experience ever. 11 minutes in the drive thru, I think they had to raise the cow before ritually sacrificing it to make the burger. Drive-thru person was NOT friendly. I'm disappointed because BK has always been my go to, but I won't go to this one again.
Ordering thru the app does not guarantee you will get your food, even when it is already paid for. You waste your time and gas only to be told they are sold out of the product. Then they cannot refund your money, you have to contact corporate where they still will not simply give your money back. They give you an offer in the app to use at a later date. So you are forced to come back to the store whether you want to or not, or just take the loss. It's a big hassle, rather than just give you back your money. Don't waste your time, just go somewhere else that is run in a more professional manner.
Sadly, I went to this BK a few days ago, to get some BK melts which have been advertised recently. I was told at the drive through, we are out of those, sorry. When pressed, they were specifically out of the patties. Fast forward 2 or 3 days and I went back to try again. Same answer, they were out of them. So I had to try a different BK, this time in Lakeside.
No fountain drinks. Food was horrible sold out on everything how it's 6pm.
I NEVER post bad reviews. Until today. I've been to this BK several times. This has been the worst. We sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes. Drove up to the window. We thought we saw a gentleman, so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and drove back through. We tried to order again, but to no avail. I called to make sure they were open. All of a sudden a large man appeared in the drive-thru window and then disappeared. When we drove up to the window again, we saw a small female inside near the bathroom we didn't see before. Both of them completely ignored us, disappearing again. They never answered the phone. I know they clearly saw us and knew we had been through the drive-thru. We finally left. Their hours on Google say they're open. It was 7:45am, just 15 minutes ago when this happened. In addition to this experience, the homeless encampment is getting ridiculous. I hated giving this review, but people need to know. Management needs to do something about it. Terrible.
Every single time I go here the service is HORRIBLE. The people that work there just give you attitude when you ask if you can have any kind of sauce. I’m not rude or disrespectful I just want a sauce. If that’s so hard DO NOT work there. If you are so miserable stop making everyone else around you feel that. Do your job. Smile. I usually go through the drive through and I speak very loud and clearly and they always have my order incorrect but correct on the receipt. Yesterday I got small fries instead of the large fries I ordered. I also ordered their halfsies and did not receive them in my order. In addition, I have also had where my whopper had pickles and tomatoes when I asked for none on my whopper. I did call and she said she could not re make it that I could go back tomorrow. I was hungry at that time not the next day I just wanted my order correct how I ordered. She then re made it for me. So sorry for the inconvenience that YOU made my order wrong and I had to drive back when I had already gotten home. Horrible experience all the time.
Waited about 10 minutes in a short drive through just for them to tell me to please wait then another 10 min before they took my order. Then told me a double cheeseburger meal doesn’t exist I have to get just the sandwich, looked online it does exist like it always has ordered 2 double cheese burgers a side of onion rings and no drink, an impossible whopper meal, would have only been $1 more to get what I wanted in a large meal, would have been $4 cheaper if they would have sold me what I wanted as a meal like I wanted, avoid this location. Go to the one near sdsu from now on I guess
Waits till I pay to say oh yeah we don't have what you want to put on your burger but we didn't charge you. Turns out you're going to have it their way, whether you like it or not.
I went to Burger King on Johnson in El Cajon to buy dinner for my family. I drove through the drive thru and the employee said to me how may I help you. When I gave him a code through the app, he stated it wasn't the right code. So I provided him with the second code and he stated also it was working. Then the employee advice me to order through the app. I told him that I was ordering through the app. Then he stated to me to pullout through the driveway because I was holding the traffic. When I look through my rear view mirror there was no car behind my car. I told the employee you know what FORGET IT WITH MY ORDER! Then I drove off with no food for my family. When I got home, I called Burger King phone just rang then the line went to busy. This is Defenitely the last time I go to that Burger King. They lost a good customer.😡
Get VICK out the front. Disrespectful , took 25 mins for FRIES. Then I ask hey where’s my stuff can I have it, and he tells me “yea when I get to it” you make 15$ a hour LEAVE IF YOUR THAT MAD.
Thank you for the mozzarella sticks with no sauce. If I select a sauce on the app then you should put it in the bag without me having to ask for the sauce at the window. Do better
The cutlets in the hamburger are tasteless, no salt, nothing. Prepared everything in a scattered way as if just thrown together The previous service worked much better and prepared much tastier food, yes, when we complained, we were given 1 new Burger for free and fries even though we ordered 4 Burgers, we will not come here again.
NOT RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION. Made it online it was our dinner. Received it not as requested. Fish were so dry as they been fry for five times. So disgusting make us lose our appetite.How hard could be to make fast food. It already been prepare and ready. You been trained to do it. It is your only job!! This experience will need three months to forget it to crave Burger King Again
PLEASE fix the drive thru speaker. It is literally the only thing that is in the way of me and my awesome impossible whopper. Every single time I order I have to clarify at the window because the speaker simply doesn’t work effectively. Of course once I get the impossible whopper it’s great, but the process of ordering I believe is unfortunately quite difficult.
Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Burger King on Johnson. We rarely eat at this restaurant, however the breakfast croissant sandwiches are one of my favorites. We arrived slightly before 6 am, (5:47) and googled the hours of operations. They open at six am. We decided to kill a little time and wait. And we wait. And we waited til 6:30 and they never opened the doors. We seen two employees in the building. Money was put in the draws too, but still the door did not get unlocked. Needless to say, we left. I felt upset, angry and of course still hungry. If you do not open at 6 am, please update your hours on line. I'll be happy to suggest an edit for you if you let me know the correct operating hours.
.$.25 locks on the bathrooms, $.20 for a second sauce packet (regardless how much food & they don't mention it until you pick up your order), $.10 to add lettuce, $.40 to add tomatoes, and no napkins on the tables...It's actually amazing they don't charge you to get in the door. Worst of all, after nickle and diming me on everything, they gave me the soggiest fries ever :/
