The two ladies working the front noticed my wife's hospital sticker attached to her shirt and went above and beyond to make sure the large order we had was had everything we needed for the ground we were hosting. It was a beautiful thing they did that cost them nothing and It goes such a long way.
I purchased a Mixed 8 piece family meal with flour tortillas. When I returned home, I realized that I was not given flour tortillas. I returned, explained the issue, ordered four Churros and the women taking orders immediately fixed it. There was no dispute. I was given extra flour tortillas and comped 2 Churros. I'm very pleased. It is not often that I write reviews like this-that says it all. You guys need to hold onto her, and please let her know how great of a job she did Thank you!

Fast, friendly service. Great fresh food and at a great price. Original El Pollo Loco bowl $5, for just .99 you can make it a combo with a drink. It comes with flour or corn tortillas and is a great fresh dinner with a good price.
Stopped here for dinner on a Monday evening. The place was pretty crowded. Parking, or lack thereof can be complicated here. I will continue to stop by this location despite parking availability.
Update: El Pollo loco reached out to me and invited me back to make things right.. I got a personal call from Norma the manager of that location.. Norma truly cares and is passionate about the customer experience. What I did learn is it never was the restaurants fault. The problem is with corporate, the chickens they order are very small and doesn't competitively compete with other establishments. Overpriced for what you get. $18 dollars and some change is what I paid for two crunchy tacos and a two-piece dinner plate... I feel I was cheated and robbed. The wing was the size of a salsa container and I was given a core from the lettuce in my salad.. I now know why nobody talks about El Pollo loco and I can get so much more for my $18 and some change somewhere else
Half-chicken with rice and beans was delicious. Roja sauce was very spicy and flavorful.
App needs attention/updates. Very frustrating and forced me to enter the restaurant to place my order/wait for order. The staff were friendly and helpful, I was able to redeem my coupon code for a delicious 8 piece family meal for $20! I wasn't expecting a salad and churros but they were also included with the meal (bonus!) They unfortunately forgot to include the utensils which I had to specifically request.
This location is good, service was friemdly this time around. Food was hot and taste good, service was a little backed up.
It was late. It was ok. I've had better flavorful, juicier at other locations in Arizona and it wasn't late night. Went to drive thru ordered 8 pc chicken only thigh and legs with tortillas and small side of rice. spent about $24 can't attest to a few question because I went through drive through after 9pm
For some reason it seems like a Pollo Loco used you taste better. Their chicken pieces are extremely tiny. I understand that’s not their fault how big the chicken is but dang can I get a decent size piece of meat every now and then. Also they should teach their employees how to use the drive up and go system. After waiting 25 minutes for them to come out to my car to bring my order, I had to go on and go through the drive-through to pick it up. Lol
This place has really gone downhill I used to love it when they first opened but the portions have gotten small seems more like you're buying pigeons and chicken.
Ordered three chickenless burritos. Originally got one due to speaker error. After waiting ten mins for the other two and my receipt, I got four sauces for three burritos and this is what it looked like when I opened it. I am told by the other two burrito eaters that it tastes good despite the appearance.
I walk in and feel like I am bothering them. When I asked a question about the rewards program, they didn't know. So I walked out.
Poor customer service and the food matched it. Cold and dry .... wasted my money 💰
Ordered three pieces of chicken legs for two days in a row they’ve been putting the chicken in a paper bag for the oil is leaking through the paper bag. Very not cool.
OK, so you know How like when you make guacamole and if you leave it out for too long, the avocado turns brown and spoils really fast? Every time I go to this specific, El Pollo Loco location on broadway election , the avocadohot guac salsa Tastes spoiled. It’s almost like they are too lazy to make fresh avocado guac salsa every day.
Service is terrible. The chicken wasn’t ready and was lied to the staff that it would be ready in 15 minutes and that was a complete lie. The manager told me this just so that I wouldn’t ask for my refund and offered me 2 free sodas on the house, with the promise that my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. This of course did not happen and I waited for over 45 minutes for my food. Never good to this “food” establishment ever in your life if you value your time or expect “fast” food.
