Jaliscos El Centro Reviews
We loved the mariscos for dinner and clamato beers Our server was great and took care of us
Phenomenal food and service! We stopped on our way through town but wish they were local to us- would be returning regularly
The Mango Margaritas, OMG! I love this place. Food is wonderful. Large plates. Staff if friendly and attentive. One of a few places you will find a "Special Quesadilla". fried, yes fried and puffy! A must have. I will be back. I returned and had the SQ and a Chimichanga. The best food in the valley.
The Campechana was fat with oyster and shrimp and what ever else was there. The price for me was a bit steep at $17 for the large but worth every centavo!!! The medium Shrimp cocktail had a generous amount of large shrimp served up Goldilocks style... not to spicy and not to much lime. The bar section was ghost town status. I almost served my self. Discouraged and hungry I left thirsty
Went there for Breakfast with family a total of 8 and they were able to accommodate us all. They had exactly what everyone was in the mood for. I had the Large Red Menudo and it was very tasty, I forgot to add a Pata but I do recommend it.
I took my Aunt here for here birthday. The food was authentic and the serving size was more than I expected. It wasn't very busy but it seemed understaffed in the dining area. It was a bit of a wait to get anything. They had a Mariachi band who sang Happy Birthday which was outstanding. Overall, the food and atmosphere was outstanding but the service was a bit lacking.
I expected a much better experience from the reviews. The young girl with the nose ring seemed nice at first but could tell right away that she had attitude like she owned the place. Cocktails took a long time and food took forever. At least Cocktails were good but food was mediocre at best. The lady that served us the food and second round of drinks was really good and friendly. No intention of coming back.
First time going there, wasn't even greeted stood around for about 1 minute until i was told to "sit wherever you want" the server did go offer me something to drink, came back quickly and I ordered the carne asada plate because I had seen a review stating it was one of the best carne asada here in the valley, not gonna lie I was disappointed when they gave me my plate as the meat looked some what dried but to my surprise it wasn't dry instead it was chewy and really didn't have much flavor (the plate itself was really well served with a chile guero, cebollita, big portion of rice, beans, guacamole, and alot of meat)After my plate was taken to me the server never showed up,I finished my food and was looking for my server so I could get the check and a refill on my drink but to my luck whenever I would try to get her attention she would walk the other way (not saying she did that on purpose but the restaurant really wasn't busy at 9am) did notice the server on the other tables was really attentive to her tables so I ended up asking her for a refill a box to go and my check which was about $32 for the carne asada plate a fountain drink (like i said the plate was really big not a problem paying that if the food was a little better).Ill always go back for a second opinion try to give it the benefit of the doubt but the first impression wasn't really all that great I probably just went on one of those bad days.
I’m really disappointed with our experience at Jalisco’s Grill & Bar in El Centro. We waited over an hour for our food, and the restaurant wasn’t even packed. There was no reason for that kind of delay. No one really checked in on us or gave us an update about our order, which made it even more frustrating. If it had been busy, I could understand, but it definitely wasn’t. When the food finally came out, it just didn’t feel worth the long wait. Customer service and timing really matter, especially when the place isn’t full. I hope they improve their kitchen efficiency and communication because no one should have to wait that long under those conditions.
The unseasoned shrimp in my enchiladas didn't taste like shrimp, looked like they used precooked cocktail shrimps and slammed in there and called it a dish. Really bad, specially for how overpriced all the dishes in the menu are. Poor quality, avoid. Taco Bell has more taste.
