Wienerschnitzel El Cerrito Reviews
I like this burger store
I've been walking here since I was 16. I began to walk down there too. the lemonade and fries and chicken are good! and very nice folks who work there.
Always have to stop at Wienerschnitzel, when I am in the area... Love their polish sausage sandwiches and mini corn dogs... Wish they had one in Tennessee...
We came later at night but it was great
We must have gone at the perfect time. Excellent customer service, delicious chilli dogs and speedy!
It was very good overall. You wait for a min for your food but it's fresh, so yea. Clean, has a restroom and parking. Fun meal and prices for a family.
Great veggie hot dog nice employees.Crash your system food but so good!
As always food was prepared very quickly and tasted great.
Nice location, the employees are polite and take your order quickly, the downside which is this particular restaurant is usually busy so sometimes not always getting your order takes a little longer than expected but neither the less it’s a great spot.
I love a winnie😉 in my mouth and sometimes a corn dog with extra mustard. Spme mayonnaise wouldn't be bad either. Mmmm... 🤐 I not kid friendly here.
Haven't had Weinerschnitzel since 2015, Came back because I saw the chili cheese fries trending. Coming back was a hit of nostalgia, the food is amazing and very affordable, during this trying time, I appreciate a chain that can be both excellent in quality and affordability. I came a few minutes prior to them closing and was still greeted to friendly staff. I highly recommend coming here and trying everything for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Sometimes I just get a yearning for the days of my childhood in the hood and I got to go to the Home of the recession-proof chili dog. This spot, still stands for the working person, with their specials, and old school heart stopping, artery-clogging goodies. Once in a while you just gotta do it. So when you to get the deluxe chili cheese. YOLO or FOMO or whatever the kids say these days. Lol. But to keep it real, order their jumbo Chicago dog with a side of fries and a diet Coke and you'll be in and out like a ninja for under $20.
Ok, First time at Wienerschnitzel in about 8 years, and boy, how great it tastes. Ordered the number 1 combo, 2 chili cheese dogs with onions, fries, and coke. Your staff, Great. Very frendley and professional. Got my order, pulled around, and parked. This is something you need to eat with no distraction. Took my first bite into the chili dog, OMG, just as I remembered it. Delicious. Fries were hot, salted just right, great. Oh, it was soooo good the entire meal. They did forget the onions, but it was still great, and they didn't charge me for them, so it's ok. I just wanted to be able to taste that Delicious Chili Cheese Dog. Wish they had this in the Marietta Georgia area. I know I put 3 stars for atmosphere, really not much there. Small seating area, parking lot, that's it.
I know everyone loves hotdogs. I was not a fan until I tried the beef franks. I had the kraut dog & chili dog, both were tasty & not too expensive. My wife really likes the Chicago Veggie Dog. The service was fast & I know we will be back again. Great job, Wienerschnitzel!!!
Havent had this in quite some time. Taste was nostalgic. It was as I remembered
I don’t do fast food anymore but when I was asked to pick some up by a relative, I found the drive through here ridiculously fast, easy and efficient on a late night. And it seems the person I picked up food for enjoyed what they got.
This place is fast, reliable when it comes to lunch time and you need something to eat before I return back work, food always delicious and I love their dip cones.
The urge hit for a chili hot dog and I had to have my craving satisfied. One of the better places to get a hot dog and fries. The only drawback is there isn't an indoor dining area. There are only a few tables outside and it's nice when the weather is above 70 degrees. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it on a cold night. I've had the experience of sitting out in the cold winter breeze once, and probably will never do it again no matter how I'm craving a chili (chilly) dog. 06.15.25 No change from my first review. Nothing new to add.
I haven't been to DerWeinershnitzel since 1978 when they had a location in my hometown of Mill Valley, CA. My go to order was the Chili Cheese Dog, I remember the texture and flavor being very very good. I was 16 years old at that time and visited the restaurant as a matter of convenience. I only remember I enjoyed the meal and cannot comment on service or cleanliness. Although the app has me at this location and this is my actual view of it as well, I cannot elaborate any further on this review because it shares a parking lot with United States postal service, El Cerritos, CA. and that is where I am going. I suggest you go there too. This Post Office has excellent service.
I have mixed feelings. It’s really the only game in the Bay Area within reasonable driving distance. However, the food is so subpar. There’s hardly enough chili on these chili cheese fries. I also got a dog. Not as much mustard or ketchup as required I believe. Why so stingy with the sauce? Are y’all saucy lol
This location doesn't appear to offer any of the specials that other Wienerschnitzel locations always seem to offer, so this particular meal (4 plain/chili dogs, 1 small fries and a small Coke) ran ~$20.00 -- which is a lot more expensive than the same order typically runs at other W locations. French fries were cold, soggy, and undercooked. Location didn't feel particularly safe at night.
Atmosphere is nice, service is fine! The owner was being rude today, got upset and because I help a customer! Told a customer to move because the lady was helping them with a coupon and he was not polite at all, being rude did not say please, he was being very rude and not polite at all!
I live in Suisun City and I always stop by Wienerschnitzel. Today I ordered a regular chili cheese fries with extra onions and tomatoes. I got home and it was just chili and cheese and some of my fries were cold!!! Normally my fries stay hot all the way home. I then tried calling the phone number listed online and it said that it was disconnected! Unbelievable!! They have just lost my business forever! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Damn shame!!!
