Flautas Palys El Paso Reviews
This place is always hit! Food taste really fresh. Their Flautas Ahogadas are a elevated chicos, Which I prefer! It feels like you’re at your grandmas eating the food she made that day! I wish more people knew about this place because the times I’ve been it’s super slow :( I hope it never closes! I always try to take pics but forget to because we just go straight to digging in lol No crumbs!

One of El Paso's hidden treasures. Fast but not fast food! Great authentic home cooked taste to TexMex favorites. Fast, friendly service in a clean environment with garden projects in process. Highly recommend.

I've been going to this place for years and I've never ever had a problem, contrary I'm able to place my order over phone and pay in person because they already know us. It's nice to be recognized in a place, they always give us the best treatment.
Came here for take out for lunch for our employees and let me tell you these flautas were actually delicious! I’m glad I didn’t go base off of some of the reviews on here. The flautas and enchiladas taste homemade, I definitely recommend Fautas Palys!
I really loved their flautas and I didn't have to ask for extra sour cream or guacamole. They brought three big bottles to include the red salsa. Celene, the waitress was very nice and professional. She came right away and took my order with a sincere smile on her face. They were playing Spanish 70's romantic music that I love. They also had my favorite grapefruit soda. I had not had one since childhood. Oh, they don't skim on napkins. I highly recommend this place!
Since being in town for the month of January, I have been to this place three times, friendly service and delicious Flautas ahogadas 😋. Alonzo was very welcoming and treated me like family. The Flautas ahogadas are the best, puts Chicos Tacos to shame. We also tried the gorditas, phenomenal! I wish I had a Flautas Palys in Illinois. Thanks again Alonzo and family!

The flautas are very thin, hardly any beef in them which makes them hard. The plate came with beans and rice, which were very good. The service was good and the order came out fast.
The saucy flautas were pretty good, so were the rellenos, apparently.

We ordered the flautas meal. It came with 35 flautas i got rice instead of beans, salsa. Aquacate sauces and crema sauce, the flautas were good and the rice also, the only problem is the container for the rice is small it feeds probably 4 people with a small serving of rice. You would figure is you order 35 flautas it would be more. I had to buy 2 more rice for about 6 people
I had seen this place and wish I had tried it sooner. Nonetheless, the food had a very good homemade taste and the ladies were very nice. This restaurant is rather simple but it's a nice place for a quick bite.
Small family oriented place, friendly and food was great

Moms & Pops type of place. Ordered the flautas with rice and beans for dine in. It’s was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst.

Food is good, very "homemade" taste. Service was exactly as described in other reviews, bad or nonexistent. You'll leave the place smelling of food though. Maybe they need a better hood vent over their grill?
Flautas are pretty good. The rest of the plates like beans, rice, and chile renenos were okay (I could make the same quality at home personally). Great service, clean restaurant.
Flavor was good price was fair. We ordered the largest order avaliable of flautas. Avocado sourcream and chilly was very watered down. The order of beans that came with it was way to small. It was in the same container size as the sourcream avacado and chilly. Now for 40 some flautas there should of been a bigger container of beans. Based on flavor I would recommend based on anything else I would not recommend

Food is decent, but the service is very bad, they do less than the minimum to satisfy their customers. The first time I went, I thought maybe the cashier was having a bad day, but they were rude every time after. Once I even called to place an order and when I did, I asked if they could repeat the time it would take to be ready and when they repeated it, they were angry and spoke down to me like I couldn’t understand what they were saying and hung up right after. I only come back because it’s the closest place to get flautas.
Times have changed, just like customer service and the economy with prices. This year we were very disappointed to order our annual family platter only to have items removed and charged as extra than the year before. I could understand if the items were expensive rare items but beans and rice are not. We also noticed the flautas were a lot thinner with less meat. So this was our last purchase. We recommend finding a new location unless that make improvements.
Me and my friends went to dine in it was a long time that we didn't get together and they decide to go in your restaurant, I noticed that lady was cleaning a tables with fabuloso a product that is only for floors that has heavy chemicals to kill insects it's not very healthy to clean the tables with that. I also told her that I was allergic to it I couldn't enjoy the conversation or my food because she didn't stop cleaning the tables near me with that product. The other part that I do not like was that I wanted lettuce but the letters you guys had on the bar was old and bad, the limits were also old and sour they were not fresh at all. Even though you have a lot of customers workers that work hard in the construction and they go and eat in sit down to eat comfortable and when quality food is not completely fresh it's something to think about it again. Should I go there maybe in another location the one that is in close to St Mark's Catholic Church I had had issues not quite satisfying. I am fortunately I designed Not to give the waitress her tip because she ignored my request of not soaking the cloth on fabuloso she practically kicked me out of the restaurant me and my friends. Even though I was paying for their meal too. 🤷🏻♀️

This past weekend I went to Flautas Palys but before I read the reviews which made me decide to go eat at this place. Anyway I sat at a table where I was literally facing towards the kitchen. The two ladies where super nice BUT the waiter after she had put down the chips and salsa on my table she wiped her nose so I didn't even touch the chips because of that. Saw her go to the back of the restaurant thinking she went to wash her hands but I wasn't sure. She then brought me my plate which she was holding from the bottom. Then I saw the owner I believe was, was at the counter touching whatever she had there you know fixing etc as she talked to some customer very into the conversation both she then went to the kitchen and started cutting meat and rolling the flautas. Suddenly she gave the customer or family member a hug goodbye as her hand was touching his back. She never washed her hands. Then she stepped out to her car which parked literally right infront of the restaurant as she brought some bags inside and when done she went back to making the flautas and didn't wash her hands. Saddle food is good but they both don't take precautions when handling food.
