Grasslands Cafe El Paso Reviews
Good food and drinks
I was pleasantly surprised. They have great food @ affordable prices. They serve good sized portions, and have a good variety.
Overall the El Paso Zoo, while not the Atlanta Zoo, is a very nice get away any day of the week.
They have tasty tortas but the frijoles charros are extremely scrumptious.
I highly advise this place.had such a great time.
Their tacos and beans are delicious
Nice Cafe in the zoo to grab a bite.

What you would expect from a small “fast food style” restaurant in a zoo. It isn’t the cleanest and definitely on the pricey side, but they do offer military discount and the food comes out very quickly. Also, I must say that I was surprised with how good the food actually looked and tasted! Another good thing is that they do sell alcoholic beverages. There are some beer and carbonated alcohol choices. I’ll probably find myself going back here with my family for food every time I visit the zoo.
Food is ok, ordered the avocado, bacon burger with fries. It's abit pricey here. Service was okay. Ate outside with some pigeons flying around 😊

Good and ready
Amazing service! The food is good a little expensive but worth it. The place looks clean and fresh. The guy on register (I think his name was Alex or Axel) is one if the nicest and coolest people I’ve met. We had so much fun at the zoo and ate well too. Overall amazing service.!!
Food was fresh, but dry. Needs mayo and they ran out of mushrooms for my burger then out of bacon on my second choice. Fries are good and fresh
Dip n dots were tasty and air conditioning was welcomed. Food was good.
Nice cool cafe with good polite sevice.

Too expensive
The cafe was very clean looking and not crowded, although they were busy. We were limited on funds so we didn't eat here, just bought 3 souvenir cups with ice water to hydrate us in the heat. There was delicious aromas in the air so hopefully during a future visit we can try out the food. I did see they sell the infamous Best Maid Pickle Beer, will have to try it out next time.
Pretty pricey but the food is good.

Not enough choices and service could be better.
Extremely over-priced drinks.
Overpriced drinks. Lobby was dirty. Chairs everywhere. Tables uncleaned. Food was good but was ridiculous that you couldn't get refills with those huge burgers, also ended up paying 70 for a family of 4 didn't help. It's a bit pricey.

Says it's open when it's closed. Thanks for wasting my time
The food (Birra Nachos) was very disgusting and cold. I asked if they can at least heat up the meat and they didn’t. Asked again and they replaced the order with not only cold meat again, but the food looked tampered with - we tossed it in the trash. Not worth the energy or time to complain as their management seems very vindictive. I would highly recommend to avoid this place like a plague.
The costumer servuce was horrible. And to top it off the cook said No mames when we asked if we could purchase a side of queso and boffalo chicken for the nachos sincr they had like a couple pieces only. We didnt ask for it for free we asked to purchase. Using those words in front of kids and other families was really upsetting. Plus when we asked for no onion on our nachos the same cook said are you fn kidding me ? Like if he doesnt like his job maybe then just go home. This issue was e other people too but they just left..
Horrible service all around. We waited in line for over 20 minutes just to order our food. The cashier up front took at least five minutes per person take down orders. Then we waited over an hour to get our food. My dad and I went to pick up everything ( chicken baskets and icees) and the worker behind the counter took our receipt and gave us our chicken baskets. When we asked for our icees, she said we needed to show her a receipt.... the same receipt we handed to her. She argued with my dad that she couldn’t give him the icees unless we showed her a receipt. My dad told her to take a look at the receipt she had placed on the other counter and she finally gave us the icees. Finally, we get to eat right? Well, the chicken was not edible whatsoever. The chicken was literally the same texture as rubber, and the outside was burned badly. We ate the fries and left. So disappointed by the staff and the quality of the food.
Came here during lunch, they do not even serve food, only beverages. So you have to go to the front of the zoo for food , super annoying .
