We ate here for DineLA2026 and were very impressed. The ambience, the service and especially the food itself was top notch. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned and cooked, the pasta was delicious and the DineLA servings were perfect for us. The Nutella cake was a big hit with the kids.

I would highly recommend Jame Enoteca to anyone the food, staff, service and atmosphere were all truly excellent. I will certainly be back!

This is a terrific restaurant with unbelievable out of this world service. The other day we ordered some food to be catered and it was a problem with the catering company. The manager of Brandon stepped up and delivered the best customer service by delivering the food himself. the food was delicious but made even more special by the extra care the manager, Brandon, was able to provide.

I’ve been enjoying Jame since 2020. Their kale pesto and vodka pasta are amazing and the branzino is the best I’ve ever had. I also hosted a large dinner here with 20+ people and the staff was phenomenal in accommodating us.

Great business lunch. Attentive service ready to help but not rushed. The lunch special a great fit. Who orders kale salad? Yes amazing. Crunchy not bitter semi sweet dressing very delicious. Spicy rigatoni or Tonnarelli both amazing. Pasta tender and seasoning on point. Finish with a cookie and you are more than satisfied for sure.

We had a wonderful evening mostly due to the AWESOME manager, Brandon (thank you so much!!!). He made us feel welcome from the start to the end of our meal. I'd suggest reservations (even on a Monday night!), and don't miss the kale salad!

Excellent pasta made in-house, authentic sauces, good service. We had the cacio e pepe and it was very good. The Ciabatta plate appetizer was also great, with a fantastic bread and tasty olives.

Almost passed by the venue as the name sign wasn't that obvious. It occupied a corner in a strip mall residing at Main Street of El Segundo. They're open for both lunch and dinner, and to my surprise even was super busy during lunch time so reservation's highly recommended. I also wasn't aware that they're sister group of Ospi in Venice. As they're well-known for their handmade pasta and even selling their Vodka sauce, I doubtlessly wouldn't miss having their Rigatoni in Vodka sauce. The default came without protein but I opted for extra sausage. Honestly for the extra price paid, totally worthy looking at how generous the toppings given. Pasta was cooked al dente, portion was super filling for me, and that vodka sauce oofff.. chef kiss! They deserved all the raving about how good they're for sure. Despite being full house, the service time was decent and all the servers were very attentive. The venue also felt not overwhelming as it's more casual-ish vibe. I would 100% come back to try more from their menu!

The staff is extremely friendly and the Rigatoni in Vodka Sauce that I took home was delicious. My sister was feeling under the weather and the food did the trick to cheer her up. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and I personally lile how it's somewhat hidden in the corner of the plaza.

The food was delicious, spicy Rigatoni was one of the best I have ever tried, same with the Kale Salad too! Service is equally good.

My friend and I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! I had ordered the pasta to go a few days before this and loved it so I wanted to come back and dine in and it was such a good decision. The Brussel Sprouts were so flavorful, the Spicy Rigatoni is one of the best I’ve had, and the Nutella Cheesecake was the perfect dessert to finish the meal. Service was really good and attentive and our server was very friendly (and funny!). Can’t wait to go again!

Everything about Jame was incredible! The atmosphere was casual, yet classy, and our waitress was very sweet and helpful! I had the meatball appetizer and the Cappellini and both were flavorful and delicious, but that pasta was phenomenal! The Steve and Dina margarita was spicy and strong - absolutely looking forward to returning to try the Chicken Parm - only sold Sun - Thurs as I discovered!

The best Italian food I’ve found in South Bay!! Right when you walk in, you can smell homemade pasta and sauces- I knew it was going to be delicious! Highly recommend the spicy rigatoni and kale salad! Our waiter was super helpful with recommendations and fast service. Can’t wait to try more dishes next time!

Another GREAT meal this week at this diamond in the rough. Don’t let the unpretentious strip mall facade fool you, and as you approach the door you will see this is an upscale dining experience in a casual environment. The covered courtyard was a nice place for a summer dinner. The food is Fantastic! All the pasta s simply outstanding! Solid martini even if the olives are small. Limited wine by the glass options but the bottle selections were solid. Go with the Super Tuscan if you lake a full bodied vino. Prices were reasonable for CA. VictorB

The Baseline
The Baseline

The Baseline: For an Italian sit down restaurant the food must use of prime Italian ingredients (garlic, tomatoes, cheese, basil), preparation of sauces and al dente pasta, the meal portion size must leave me feeling full, and the service needs me feeling like I am part of the family. Food: Great pasta and sauces on the offerings at Jame Enoteca. Highlights: Tagliatelle al Ragu is a go-to default if you cannot decide (my personal favorite). The sauce is to boast and flavorful. The Ricotta Cavatelli is very good with a good savory, spicy to the sausage. Drinks are stiff and flavorful. The kale salad was also great an may become a new go-to starter which is saying something because… salad. Service: I had good service when I was here. Water glass was kept full and the wait staff came around regularly. It was busy the night we came so the staff maintained a good level of service even with the high volume. Ambiance: This night we dined in the new Library seating section which can be a bit loud with competing conversations. The restrooms were clean and serviced. The Outdoor patio was a little quieter than the inside. Original Review: Incredible little Italian restaurant in El Segundo. Pasta is fresh and delicious. Services was on the spot and I never had to wait for an empty water glass to be refilled. Sat outside on the patio which was nice but the inside was really nice. Wish I got to dine inside. Tip: get there early or you will miss out on the chicken parm.

Had lunch with my dog here yesterday. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. I asked for a table towards the back so that I was away from other guests since I have a big dog and not everyone is fond of big dogs. They brought a water bowl for my dog and made sure she was ok also. Even though I was seated away from the main crowd, several staff members came and checked on me regularly throughout my meal. They were helpful with their suggestions in terms of the food and also provided me with how the chicken breast was prepped since I ordered a plain one for my dog to have during our meal. I ended up getting the spicy vodka rigatoni with a side of chicken and the Caesar salad. Both were fantastic. The pasta was slightly chewy and had the perfect texture. The sauce was slightly spicy, but had so much flavor. The salad was citrusy, slightly spicy, crunchy, and just delicious. I loved every bite. I’m not local to the area, but would definitely eat here again if I was in the neighborhood.

I recently dined at Jame Restaurant, and it was an exceptional culinary experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a cozy, modern ambiance that is both inviting and stylish, making it perfect for any occasion. We started our meal with two delectable pasta dishes. The first was the Rigatoni with Tomato Sauce, which was simple yet flavorful. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, and the tomato sauce had a rich, robust flavor, complemented by a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. The second pasta dish was the classic Cacio e Pepe. The balance of pecorino cheese and freshly cracked black pepper was spot on, creating a creamy and indulgent dish that was comforting and satisfying. Next, we enjoyed a refreshing Caesar Salad. The romaine lettuce was crisp and fresh, generously coated with a tangy, creamy dressing and topped with crunchy breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan. It was a delightful start to our meal, showcasing the restaurant’s dedication to quality ingredients and balanced flavors. We also tried the Meatballs with Polenta, which were outstanding. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, served on a bed of creamy polenta, and topped with a rich tomato sauce and fresh arugula. The combination of textures and flavors in this dish was superb, making it a standout on the menu. For dessert, we indulged in two heavenly treats. The first was a bread pudding topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce. The bread pudding was warm and soft, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the ice cream added a delightful creamy contrast. The caramel sauce brought the whole dessert together beautifully. The second dessert was a rich and decadent chocolate tart. The tart had a perfectly crisp crust and a luscious, velvety chocolate filling that was simply divine. Throughout our meal, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The attention to detail and the quality of the food and service at Jame Restaurant make it a standout dining destination. Overall, Jame Restaurant exceeded our expectations. The combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Jame Restaurant is sure to impress. We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a group event here. There were about 40 of us in the back room. Everything served was delicious, but the best was the pork shank - tender and flavorful. The service was attentive. The only downside was the acoustics. It was so loud I couldn’t hear anyone unless they were right next to me. I’d go back for dinner anytime, but would not book a group.

A quaint Italian eatery with a good selection of pastas made with local ingredients. The menu is overall a bit on the small side, but there are still a good variety of dishes to appeal to almost anyone. The lack of fountain sodas was a bit disappointing and their wine selection was somewhat limited. Still, it is overall a good try for the price.

We stopped by for a Friday date night. The food was quite good - we ordered the brussel sprouts, paccheri, mushroom lasagna, and the pork shank which was a real standout. We also enjoyed a few rounds of drinks, and the cucumber cocktail was the best of the bunch. Service was a bit off-putting. Our server seemed to have taken an unusual interest in my partner and seemed to pay the most attention to him rather than the pacing of our dishes 😂 TL;DR - we ended up cutting our time short and left early. there was just too much unwanted physical interaction from the server to my partner and quickly became uncomfortable for the both of us.

Jame has been on my list for a while, and I finally made it in—honestly, the food did not disappoint. I’ve ordered food from Jame several times so I was excited to dine in. We shared the Ciabatta plate, Capellini, and the Mandilli, all which were very delicious and flavorful. The ambiance is lively and fun without being too loud, and the decor has that perfect mix of modern charm and cozy warmth. It’s the kind of place that is high energy, so it’s great for a midweek pick me up. That said, I was surprised by the service, especially after reading so many glowing reviews. When I asked for a wine recommendation, the response I got was flat and monosyllabic, which took me off guard. It wasn’t just that moment—any time we had a question (like asking what was in the butter), it felt like we were inconveniencing the server. There was a consistent sense of apathy that didn’t match the vibrant energy of the food or space. Despite that, the food was good enough that we’re open to giving Jame another shot. I’d love to return and see if the service experience was just a one-off—because the food is delicious.

I've been here twice in the last couple months and can wholeheartedly say the only pasta you need to order is the spicy rigatoni. I've tried the mushroom lasagna, cacao e pepe, and paccheri as well and sadly none even come close. They were all just okay. The spicy rigatoni is wonderful though. I'd also highly recommend the brussel sprouts and warm ciabatta. That umami butter + olive oil combination is AMAZING! Shoutout to the kale salad too. This might be the only place I like vegetables more than some of the pasta. Lovely staff. We sat outdoors and they provided plenty of heat lamps. (@roaming.eater)

I dined at Jame this past weekend with 3 friends- we were all very excited about the pasta. I’m a private chef, and they’re doctors, but what we all have in common is our love of food. The menu was written very seriously, “pangrattato” on top of their squid ink pasta- also known as breadcrumbs. So I was expecting a very dialed in experience… We had ciabatta, chopped, broccolini, & 4 pastas. The ciabatta bread was good, portion could’ve been bigger- we all ended up with one little piece of bread- would’ve been nice if we were told to order more for the table. Chopped was severely under seasoned- bland , and just a little too wet from vinegar. It was so close to being great! The broccolini was almost there- needed more salt. The squid ink pasta was bad. It was clear they used the CHEAPEST little trash frozen shrimp they could find. It was bland, tepid and a complete missed opportunity because the noodles were good. The maldini- was one congealed piece of pasta- again bland. The agnolotti was very good- their featured pasta of the night. And their cavatelli was good- almost there- still needed more seasoning. While this restaurant has all the ingredients for success- execution needs tweaking and I urge the chefs to taste their food, and please don’t cut corners on seafood. People can tell.
